I really like this place. I took my daughter for a wash and blow and she really enjoyed herself. They are quick, efficient and friendly. Reasonably priced. I am definitely going back for myself.

Maria has been doing my hair for over 3 years now since my hairstylist moved out of the state of Georgia.Since COVID19 appts are required to keep everyone safe.I love the experience because the way they do the hair, it quite one of a kind they have a shampoo guru, that gets you to relax and enjoy the wash. 😊You have a steamer time and then a conditioner.They also have Jessica who is another stylist she is very kind and plus I have been learning alot about hair. As a new resident of Gwinnett county by way of New York, I searched long and hard for a salon, to only be completely and utterly disappointed by the staff and service at this Salon. The lady in the 1st chair to the left of the entrance, is the most rude and condescending stylist I have ever encountered. This salon is not welcoming and their work is mediocre as they rush to get you out rather than be patient in properly caring for your hair. This salon is an absolutely NO for me!

I visited the salon for a relaxer. They only do appointments only and followed social distancing CDC guidelines. They were very meticulous with cleaning every chair and appliances after each use. Everyone had a mask on and hand sanitizers present. I felt comfortable and safe. Quality is still excellent. Very pleased.

If you are actually greeted and treated as a valuable paying client, you may actually be able to try their services and determine if theyre any good! Such was, unfortunately, not the case for me. When I called this salon to ask if they had any openings, and later for directions, the receptionist seemed pleasant. Walking in, however, was an entirely different story. When I arrived, the receptionist was on the phone, and didnt even bother to acknowledge me - not even so much as a finger, smile, wave or anything. After sitting down for a few minutes and still not getting acknowledged, I walked out. If you want a place that will just get you in and out, then I suppose this place is for you. If however, you are like me, and customer service matters to you before spending your hard earned money, I would suggest a salon with enough respect, etiquette and class to greet their clients. Theyll never know what client they just lost from a simple act of ignorance.

Close to home so I can run in for a quick cute style. The salon is kept really clean & the ladies are so friendly.

The Colombian lady is rude and they tug on your hair and not gentle at all. They have an attitude when you try to make an appointment. She said they are closed when in fact they don’t close until 5. I do not recommend them. Every time I go it’s a bad experience with bad attitude. I will take my business else where.

I’ve come there several times and always received excellent service. Not sure what happened yesterday. My hair wash was nowhere near what had been previously done EVERY TIME and I don’t believe my hair was fully dried. I’m truly tired of trying to find a reliable salon that is worth what you’re being charged. Guess I’m on the hunt again.

Just got hurried off the phone by Jessica when I tried to make an appointment. Mind you, I’ve been going to this salon for quite some time and I identified myself. I asked her about coloring my hair and Jessica was clearly annoyed as I could hear her taking loud deep breaths after I would ask her a question...then she proceeds to tell me to call back because she was “breaking her neck” holding the phone to her ear, talking to me, and working on a customer’s hair at the same time. So, it’s the customers fault you can’t have a receptionist answer the phone at a busy salon? Seriously? RUDE! I will spend my hard earned dollar elsewhere. Ciao!✌🏼

I first visited this salon in November and I instantly became a fan. Jessica greeted me warmly and answered all my questions as a new customer. I didn’t have an appointment, but within about 10 minutes of arriving they had me seated in the back and deep conditioning. I love this salon because they were gentle and fast; what usually took me 4+ hours at other salons, they did in almost 3. The hair treatment they gave my hair made it soft and nearly tangle free for weeks afterwards, and to my surprise, my hair was resistant to the constant humidity and rain that followed in the week after I got it blow dried. I highly recommend this salon.

I have been going to this salon for years and will NOT go anywhere else. Every single time I go I am more than satisfied. I live in Snellville and pass I dont know how many salons to go here because theyre that good. Maria has been styling my hair almost 10 years and its so healthy and continues to grow. I highly recommend you travel to this salon no matter where you live. I love this place ,my hair Stylist is Jessica I’ve been going to this hair salon for almost 4 years now . I’m from New York where we have the best Hair Stylists and I wasn’t settling for less when I was searching for a good hair stylists. But I was lucky enough to find a good Dominican hair salon and great staff . My hair is longer,stronger and healthier in their hands . Their staff all are very nice people . Place is very clean, they wear masks and sanitize the chairs and the salon as well . I also do my hair with Maria the Owner when Jessica is not available they’re both very professional. I love their service and my hair always looks good under their care .

The salon was clean and there wasnt a wait when I came in on a Sunday morning. It was my first time and the lady who washed my hair took her time making sure my hair was thoroughly washed. I was happy that I wasnt made to sit under the dryer all day like Ive experienced at many salons before. I just received a simple wash and style. My hair turned out silky smooth and was styled very nicely, I will be back.

My 100% NATURAL African American thick hair had the most AMAZING & THOROUGH scalp scrub and wash that Ive ever had in my life! Jessica completed me with a phenomenal blowout and press. Oh Im not finished..then homegirl even WRAPPED MY HAIR FOR ME because it was raining outside. This salon has made me complete again!👏👏🙌🙌☝☝🎉🎉

Earlier 2019 was my first time. This is now my salon. They are very close to me but the service was first class. My shampoo was the BEST EVER. My scalp has never felt better. My hair is Beautiful and I am VERY HAPPY. I was there for only 2.5 hours for a wash deep conditioner and roller set. Wow that was fast. Customer service A++. The price was Fantastic. They did a very great job on my hair. I was a walk in and they took me immediately. I have 4c hair and have tried other salons where my hair reverted soon as I walked outside. My hair is still straight and bouncy. Money well spent.

Maria is the best and the shampoo lady thoroughly washes your hair!!! Maria uses great products and Ive been going to her for 2 years and never had an issue.This place isnt like some Dominican hair shops who burn out your hair with so much heat. Family environment, very clean and professional. 2.5 hours max with an appointment. If you want a simple wash, trim and press. This place is a must go! Good prices as well.

This salon is awesome! I recently had the chance to visit this salon as a walk in client and the stylist here treated me as if I was a regular client. All of the stylist here literally work as a team to get the job done. My hair was done in a timely manner and there was several people ahead of me. This shop also has very reasonable prices. Every experience I have had at Luxury Dominican Style Salon has been awesome. My stylist is Yudys and she always does an awesome job. She has been doing my hair for the last 5 years. She gets you in and out in a timely manner and my hair always looks good. She is the only one I trust doing color in my hair as well as the upkeep of my hair. My hair has grown significantly with her. The environment and service is great and I would definitely recommend anyone to go there.

They did not do what I asked them, cut my hair all uneven! I asked for a specific haircut AND provided a picture of ME WITH THE STYLE and she still didnt do it right, didnt show me the back of the hair and cut it all messed up! I have been going this salon every since they opened and I absolutely love it. I am very much into hair care and could tell that Yudy(My stylist) was to from the 1st time that she did my hair. I must say that my hair is very very healthy and has grown so much. I have no chemicals and my style last a long time. Also, I am in and out in no time....less talk and all work!

I tried this salon one month ago and hoped for the best, after reading the reviews. A lot of Dominican salons have a reputation fir using too much heat with the final result of very heat damaged, burned hair. Not this salon! The owner and stylists are focused on conditioning the hair and keeping the heat to a minimum. This was the best blow dry/flat iron IveI ever had. My hair was silky and did not have that burned smell to it. This is now the only place I will come to for blow outs. I liked themtso much, II a taking my daughter tomorrow to get her hair done for her high school graduation, happening on Sunday. Five stars to this salon!

I waited for at least 20 minutes before I was taken to the hair washing bowl. Then when I got there, I had to wait an additional 3 minutes. I dont know who the receptionist is (I think her name is Jessica ), but she couldnt be any less welcoming. This was my first and last visit.

This place is amazing they take care of you like no one does and they are really clean . Love the part where they put this special treatment and leaves my hair so soft and smooth . The barber Pedro. His cuts are good for certain people but with this being a Dominican salon I thought hed know how to do a mixed race mans hair. I got my sides faded but the top he combed it out and thats it. I have very curly hair. So he should try to bring it back to that curl definition. Then charges 45 dollars when the top of my head looks like a chia pet. I tell everyone I cant get my cut by just anyone. They say goto the Dominicans. I go and Im not satisfied. Tried to book for another appointment n he was fully booked all day. I told him Im free any day when can you cut? He says I cut 7 days a week n he will let me know. He never replied back. He did a good job on my fade but when you have hair on top of your head looking like a troll doll! That undermines the skills you have. And overcharging 45 is ridiculous. If I wouldve known the price in the beginning I would have never sat in that chair.

My daughters hair was beautiful when she left the salon but her style didnt last long. She is mixed Puertorican and black and maybe they are not equiped to deal with her hair texture.
