This is the worst place to be in charge of a child’s best interest. This place shouldn’t be open after continuously placing children with unfit parents. I hope to see this place close or ran by a whole new staff that knows what the best interests for a child means.

My brother was killed March 12, 2017. At that time his wife asked me to take their two boys and take carr of them. A couple weeks later we found out that their was life insurance through the vehicles insurance company. She called and said I have to come get the boys from you because if not youll get the money and not me. I pleaded with her, knowing she was incapable of being a mother. I told her she could have all the money! It didnt matter, her dad and stepmother drove her from Kansas to Arkansas to get my nephews! Now almost 2 years later, she has since spent all the money on drugs, signed her rights away and placed them in foster care in which her dad and stepmother are the foster parents. I received a letter in the mail that they were up for adoption, called and got my adoption packet, and have literally called DOZENS of times for questions about the packet! NO CALL BACK!!!!!!! I would think KVC would want them to be with family them loves them...FORGET ABOUT MONEY!!!!! EVERYONE THATS IN IT FOR THE MONEY CAN HAVE IT!!!!! I JUST WANT MY NEPHEWS TO HAVE STABILITY, LOVE, GUIDANCE, JOY AND HAPPINESS!!!!!!!!! Weve done nothing wrong, my brother died, now weve been alienated from his babies!!!! Its a sad world we live in!!!

This organization is the worst place for kids. As a former foster parent for many years and married to a former kvc social worker...we have seen the system lie to and abuse these poor parents doing everything they can to fight for their children! Its all about the money they can Squeeze out of them for this class and this therapy when none of it is relevant or helpful....but kvc ISNT REALLY there to help. Look it up...do your research! Govt Funding comes when they adopt out your child....not when they reintegrate back home to you.....so that is the real goal of kvc!! Ive literally witnessed parents begging for relative help and kvc staff up to the big dogs refused to help and disregard these parents then talk about how the parents are in the way of getting the kids placed in a home that will get govt funding back to kvc....!!!. But this is the american way. Take families who need help, rip their children away and kick them over and over and while they are down, spread lies about them, and then Sell the precious children kvc used as pawns to dangle in front of these poor families who may have needed help or income support or encouragement just to keep going bc parenting is hard.....this is a sick sick organization filled with scandals and brainwashing of the kids and stealing fron the parents. Not all birth parents are bad parents and not all foster parents are in it for the children. The system sure isnt for the children.

Awful organization. Ive been in the system for 3 years when they told me as long as Im doing good Id be out within 6 months.
