My friend and I are trying different nail places in Lawrence, and wanted to try Nail Arts. We are not very happy with our nails and will not be back. I got dip with tip nails and they turned out see-through, not at all like how dip nails should be, and there is still glue under my nails from the tips that were put on, and you can see the tips through the color. The shape is also not consistent throughout and some of the tips they put on are not the right size for my nail. My friend got acrylic and its not the shape she wanted and the color is uneven. They also lost their shine in a day and have small bubbles in the color. She also has glue underneath her nail still because they didnt clean them up. One good thing about them is they are not super pricey so you get what you pay for.UPDATE: I went back to get them fixed and am happy with the results now. They told me I had picked a clear dip powder, initially, but the swatch looked opaque so that was a little misleading but they were nice to fix them for me and make sure I was happy.

I got my gel manicure at Nail Arts about a month ago and it was amazing. Prior to going to Nail Arts, it had been years since I got a manicure, as I usually just do my nails myself. I booked an appointment online and decided to go for Simple Art as I wanted something unique before my vacation.The salon itself is very clean and modern, with comfortable seats and phone chargers at each station. Each salon staff was really sweet and professional.My tech was very patient and friendly, and has an incredible eye for detail. She took one look at an Instagram photo that I showed her and was able to reproduce it without any problem. Her artwork was so precise which blew me away. My nails lasted for 3 weeks without any issues and I was so sad that I had to take the nails off when they finally grew out.While the manicures here are a little too pricey for me to come on a regular basis, I will definitely be back for special occasions. Highly recommend!

I have been doing gel nails for years and am beyond pleased I found Nail Arts after searching online and on social media for weeks looking for a new place. The place is impeccable with their store design and set up to start. The nail technicians/nail artists compliment the salon and make the experience special and unique! Its great to have someone work with you with patience and professionalism being that Ive had my fair share of not so great experiences elsewhere. My nail tech/artist is owner and what I like about her is that I can tell she enjoys working with me to help pick out a nail color and nail art designs while even if I get just a solid color I leave with a big smile! Im constantly being asked about my nails when Im out and more importantly they last a whole three weeks or more if I let them which is amazing and worth the cost. My sister in law goes now since I referred her and feels the same as me. Nail Arts is one of a kind in this city and happy to share this news with others!

I never leave reviews, but this place is so bad I had to. Wish I could give 0 stars. I went to get my acrylic nails off and had my nails completely emerged in chemicals. That resulted in chemical burn/ blisters that left scabs on my fingers. I had gel put on and just had an entire natural nail fall off. It is gushing blood. I am in a lot of pain. I will not be returning here and I STRONGLY advise you to stay clear. Happened a week ago and my nails are already chipped off anyway. Unsanitary and seemingly unprofessional. Waste of money and causes too much pain!

Ive been here just once and I loved this place so much. My nails are definitely looks good and the girls that made them for me theyre super pleasant and nice.The place is clean and fresh I could say that because I do a good research about manicure saloon in Lawrence and found this place is the best place to do your nails.

Making an appt was super easy. We had to wait about 20min because they were running over with the previous clients. We didnt mind much, but the ladies were so apologetic and good about checking in with us to update us on wait time that it wasnt much of a bother at all. The space is spotless and super chic. We appreciated everything down to the details. All the nail art designs they have on display in-store are so beautiful and immaculately done. I had a specific design in mind for an upcoming vacation, so I showed my tech a photo and she absolutely nailed it (literally and figuratively lol). I dont usually ask for such intricate designs because they rarely come out the way Id like, but she went above and beyond. I have to say I love the way they came out more than I did the original design. She is super super detail-oriented and looks over each nail from every angle to ensure the gel is level and sits perfectly on the nail. Im staring at my nails as I type because theyre just so darn cute. I rarely splurge on nails because Im quite comfortable with doing them myself at home, but I will definitely definitely return to Nail Arts for any special occasions I can make up for myself!

This is the best manicure I have ever had. I love my ombre nails! The salon is modern and stylish. The staff were friendly and courteous. I had definite ideas of what I wanted; including the color. I am absolutely hooked.

Nail Arts was on my nail art bucket list for awhile, and I decided to treat myself before my best friends wedding in which I was a bridesmaid. I usually just do my own nails at home, but they always end up chipping and/or breaking because I cook a lot.I dont remember the name of the woman who prepared my nails, but both she and owner were so precise and thorough cleaning and shaping my nails. They use this tool that Ive never seen before to cut your cuticle. Owner immediately asked if I cook a lot -- that woman has a very keen eye!Owner was so fun to talk to while she did my nails and she has such high and great energy. She was training the woman who helped prep my nails and so I know she was very, very thorough and careful. Even while she was putting on the base coat of the gel, she took her time making sure that the surface of each nail was level and even.For the art, I asked her to do one white marble nail, two pink marble with gold flecks, two nails with gold glitter ombre, and just one plain pink nail. As I write this review, itll be TWO weeks tomorrow since I got my nails done. While theyve grown out a little bit, you cant really tell unless you stare at your nails and they have NOT chipped at all. Ill be sad when they grow out too much and I have to go get them removed.Ill definitely be back to Nail Arts to try out different and more intricate designs for special occasions and for treat-yoself day to get the regular gel polish!

They do amaazing work. My artist took her time, and was so incredibly sweet. I love that they dont buff your nails down before they apply the gel. My nails are gorgeous, cant wait to come back and try designs.

Loved it and already made the next appointment! Owner did my nails. Went in without any ideas but after looking at their samples and a quick chat, my nails came out beautifully.

The guy rushed through my appointment. He didnt bother checking if my acrylics were the same length or placed on my nails straight. My nails were all different lengths and multiple of them are crooked. I also have some small nicks on my cuticles from the guy rushing through and accidentally cutting me. The guy left before my nails were done, so I couldnt even ask him to fix them. I dont live in Lawrence, so its not like Ill be back anytime soon but wanted to warn others.

I had my nails done here for the first time since the Covid lockdown in 2020 and within two weeks had to pay to get the nails completely soaked off because a green fungus was growing under every other nail. The rude woman who did the soak off left chunks of acrylic stuck to my nails while rolling her eyes at me the entire time. And I’m an absolute sweetheart, never again will these people get my money!

My mother, sister and I went on a Saturday morning and they were able to fit us all in. They were very nice, very professional. I dont get many manicures so Im not a great judge, but I thought they did a great job and would definitely go back.

I live in Topeka and finding a good nail salon with great service is so hard to come by. My appointment was first thing in the morning and the entire staff greeted me upon entering very pleasantly,and was happy to assist. For this kind of service I dont mind driving for. The artist i got was very nice but seemed like he was in too much of a rush to leave and my nails are all different lengths on my left and right hand. There are also a couple that are lop sided.

The staff was friendly the shop was nice and clean but my nails look too bulky because of the excessive polish and my nails are not all shaped the same...certainly was a language barrier..

I regularly get my nails done at Nail Arts by their other nail techs and they never disappoint!The quality of their work surpasses any salon Ive ever been to, my nails last between 3-4 weeks every time!

Salon is okay. I always leave satisfied, never super excited about my experience, my service or my nails. Techs seem to be caught up in personal conversations. I dont mind that to much but Im there to get my nails done and want them to listen to what I want done instead of them doing a semi-good job on my nails.

I would give this business a five star review if it had not been for one of the men that worked there. He began working on my friends nails and it was a disaster. He didnt listen to her about the length even though she pointed out twice that she was not a fan of the length. He was talking loudly on the phone and kept complaining about having to do her nails. Usually I wouldnt complain but in this time I have to say it was extremely uncomfortable that he refused to wear his mask and even made a comment about it.You could tell he didnt want to be there and was just overall unprofessional. Other than this experience with the man everyone else was wonderful and the nails looked beautiful. The rest of the staff was professional, kind, extremely helpful and you could tell they were a well put together team. All the nails came out beautiful and I would definitely return and just ask not to have my nails done by the one man.

Everyone is extremely friendly and professional, you get too notch service from them every time. They are also very clean and keep up CDC guidelines. I always reccomend Sophia, she is incredibly kind and talented.

I usually go to the Sister salon (Lux Nails) so I tried this one today since Lux Nails was very busy and I didnt see my usual people who serviced me and my husband. This was a big regret for Fancy pedicures. They rushed and did not massage in the sugar scrub and lotions (which we had to ask for). They were not focused on us and they let us soak either no time at all or too long. Then they did not do our parffin wax as we asked. So we did not pay for it. My husband was so disappointed that he remained silent. Though I complained because his nails on his toes still had clear polish on them after he asked her to remove the polish and she claimed she did. I then ask JC to take care of my husband because his toes were cut and sharp and not shaped. JC took the time to clip and shape his toenails properly and focused on him. I then had a better experience with my nails as Teo & Ariel took good care of my nails and made me feel special especially since my birthday is coming in two weeks. However because our feet and legs were not done as we expected by previous experiences Im not sure I will put my husband and me through that again. I will attempt to contact the owner to inform her of this matter.

Again I was very impressed with my services! I arrived a little later than normal and they were VERY busy yet they prepared a pedicure chair for me and allowed me to soak while I waited my turn. My nails look great, feet feel refreshed again and I look forward to my next visit!!! Thank you for yet another relaxing evening!

My friend and I made an appointment for today for pedis and full sets. We got basic pedis and paid extra for the gel polish, which were good. The bad part are the full sets. By the time we got to the full set part, the salon had gotten very busy. My full set was rushed and it looks like it too. All my nails are different shapes. The acrylic doesnt go all the way to the cuticle. The paint and acrylic are both bubbly and thick, and none of my nails are the same length. One of them is even unevenly placed. My friend basically same problem with the length, one is by far longer than the others. The nail tech that did my friends was pisssd she even had to get called in and be there that day. The staff was complaining they dont get paid enough to do this and do that. Will not return. Will try another store.

They done work that I thought was impossible!! 1000% would recommend!! Also, the people who work there are so awesome and super nice! If you have social anxiety, this is an amazing place to be!! ❤️❤️

This is the best nail salon I have been to hands down! Not only are the workers amazing and kind, they are all very talented. The girl did my dipped manicure and listened to everything I wanted and made sure I liked the color, length, and shape of my nails. And my girl did my pedicure, was so gentle and kind and took her time making sure I get the most out of my pedicure. Everyone who worked there, made sure I was welcomed and happy with my nails. It was very easy to make conversation with them and enjoy my time there. I will definitely be a regular customer from here on out and recommend everyone here. If you want beautiful nails and to be treated very well, then this is the right spot for you!

Ive only been here once but Ill be back! I was super happy to find a nail salon close to home that I actually like.I want to preface this by saying that I dont typically get manicures but I do love a good pedicure and this was one of the best Ive ever had.The nail salon itself is a typical nail salon nothing special in the interior. The only thing that stood out to me was the niceness of the staff. They really seem to care that youve had a good experience. Very friendly.I got the deluxe pedicure. They have about five different ones you can choose from. It included a fabulous leg massage and hot towels. I enjoyed every minute.I got a French pedicure which was an extra $5 which is typical of any salon. The end result looked really nice. I will definitely be back!

I didnt get the great service .I normally get because I had a new young girl that didnt know what she was doing with feet .I was rushed and left for long periods of time .so just be careful of the people you have working on your feet.

Loved this place!I was in Lawrence visiting and needed a nail salon to do a pedicure on my sad looking feet. I found this place on google and am so glad that I did.When I walked in, the place was nice and airy, with white decor, cool wall photos, and those really neat pedicure chairs.I was greeted by two really nice people who told me I would be waiting for 10-15 for a pedicure (I did not have an appointment); they also offered me a choice of wine, water, or soft drinks!The pedicure itself was amazing. The gentleman who serviced me was very thorough and very nice. My spa pedicure lasted approximately 40m and I was very pleased with my nails afterwards.I definitely recommend this place to anyone needing nail services.

Aside from the interior and how cute it is, the owner and staff are very nice and genuinely care about the customers. They do such a great job and pay close attention to detail. Went here for the first time because a friend recommended it. I got a pedicure with a cuticle trim added on. Technician was my nail tech and was awesome! Very efficient yet attentive to detail. The pricing was slightly below average which is a plus. Definitely will be going back!

They get you right away, write your name on the sign in list, pick a color, if pedi+mani, they will sit you on a massage chair and soak your feet, very relaxing. Its more affordable then other places. Its clean, friendly, and family oriented. They accept credit card, but for tips you need to bring cash. Theres an ATM machine there if you need it.

This place is one of the best nail salons Ive ever been to! My technician was so great! Efficient, friendly and gentle. She even helped me pick out a color I wanted by mixing two colors! If I lived here this would be my go-to spot!

I had a really bad experience with a nail tech who was unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable - he was speaking poorly about another customer he had dealt with previously that day. Not mention I STILL have paint all over my fingers and my whole nail isnt even covered with paint! The nail tech literally said to me Do you like it? Too bad if you dont. To top it all off.. they made me pay $40 for just a regular shellac manicure which was carelessly done. NEVER going back again and wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I had selected this location because of a great positive first experience. In August, I went in for a friend’s wedding and got a simple one color gel manicure for $20. I thought that was fantastic and so excitedly booked an appointment for 6 people for my wedding. I got a simple one color gel manicure and pedicure. I did not ask for or receive any additional services, massages or otherwise. I was charged $76 on my second trip. Another friend was charged $86 for a gel manicure and pedicure. My sister who did a simple one color gel manicure was charged $46. This was clear and explicit price gauging. I am appalled and furious. I will actively dissuade others from this salon.

I went in as a walk-in and was taken in very quickly. The lady doing my nails was fast and they came out gorgeous. Will 100% be coming back here. People were so nice.

The best nail salon in Lawrence!I came in the first time with acrylics, nails that were destroyed & drilled into, etc. from previously getting them done at cheap, uneducated and dishonest salons.My nail tech is fantastic, and gave me honest & direct recommendations on restoring my nails while still leaving with the results I want. On top of that, she is the most detailed perfectionist youll ever come across :)The owner & the team are always kind & super accommodating as I often make my appointments at the last minute (not the best planner!) If you havent given this place a try, I highly recommend you make the switch.

The lady who did my nail not only did them really good and listened but she didnt get angry when I changed my mind about coloring my whole nails instead of French cut. I will be driving an hour and coming back when it is time.

New favorite salon! Super polite and helpful staff. They got me water, had lots of nail options, and were really kind. I tend to bite my nails so when I get my nails done, I tend to get judge mental comments. Not here! They were very polite to me and just wanted me to have the most positive nail experience possible.

Came in as a first time client for a pedicure. I moved to the area 3 months a go and hadnt yet had time to find a new nail place. Well I absolutely have!This was easily the most relaxing, serene, well skilled, hospitable, comfortable pedicure Ive had in my life.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Do not waste your money. Very poor service and there is 0 quality in what they provide you. I got a full set 4 days ago. I got them done in pink and the pink color looks brownish and dirty now and multiple of my nails have chipped to the point where I need to go somewhere else and get it fixed. Horrible and will never go back. Waste of money.

Ive been coming here for years and would never go anywhere else! Unlike many other nail salons Ive been to, the staff is so friendly and fun to talk to! They remember your name and how you like your nails done. They will do whatever design or shape youd like even if they havent done it before they will figure out how! Ive never had to wait longer than 5-10 mins, even as a walk in.I usually get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Both last nearly a month (and I am rough on my nails due to my job). Definitely my favorite nail salon in Lawrence!!I just wanted to add that over two years later I still have only been coming here and still think its absolutely the best! I recently tried a different Salon in a high end hotel downtown Lawrence as I was staying there and 4 out of 10 nails chipped within a week, 6 out of 10 chipped nails later Ive learned my lesson NEVER to cheat on Nail Arts again!!!!! They last easily 3-4 weeks here and never chip, only need to be redone due to outgrowth. Love Nail Arts

I want to CRYYYY!!! I just walked out and got my nails done in here and for the 1st time i found a really good place to go now since i moved here in Lawrence. Manicurist did my nails and the color i picked did not blend well with my natural thick nails and came out spotty, she did an AWESOME job with the shape and all..THANK you so much! They still ONLYcharged me for what i asked for and nothing more. Unlike other places who will make you feel like your taking so much of their time , they made sure i felt comfortable walking out and loving my nails!Will definitely come back here and recommend to all my friends who moved, are moving or just visiting Lawrence!

Excellent! I wish I was a local. My spa pedicure included a long foot massage and good leg massage to the knee with lots of moisturizer, not skimpy. They use the pumice stone not a razor blade. Yay! A nice surprise, hot stone massage. Ahhhh!! Very nice job on nails and design on big toe. I have had people do crazy stuff for design but she nailed what I wanted. No pun intended. I would absolutly be back

Only giving 2 stars because one lady fixed my pedi that was done by one of the guys. Poor quality job. Acting like he didnt want to be there. She did my nail. Nice girl but quality wasnt good. They rush to get you out which is fine if you can do the work that you pay for! I left her a tip for taking care of my french tip on the toes.

I dont know if Ill go anywhere else! The man who did my set of acrylic nails was WONDERFUL. He was very nice, engaged in conversation with my friend and I, and make sure to pay attention to the details. After every step, he asked if I liked my length, shape, and if I thought they were even. He even asked if I was satisfied with my colors.Overall, great salon. If I ever decide to get nails done again, this will be the place that gets my business.

We had called 4 days ahead to get 3 people in for manicures at 6:45. They were busy when we arrived at 6:30. It was 7:05 when we sat down. A simple gel manicure was $40. Over a week later and my nails look okay still, but the wait time & price turn me off.

They did a pretty good job, $43 for a full set and gel polish. She left a lot of acrylic on my fingers though but Im not terribly bothered by it at this time. FYI you can only tip in cash...they have an ATM in the salon. Overall I would go back if I was in a pinch, but I think the search for my perfect salon is still on.

I love this nail salon. I have tried many other places in the Lawrence, Topeka, and KC area and I have never found anywhere as good as Nail Arts. The nail techs are always very detail oriented and do a wonderful job. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I stopped by here yesterday for the first time to get my nails done. I felt very welcomed and was satisfied with the price. Sometimes I do not feel a welcoming vibe from nail salons, but this place was not like that at all!

My friends and I were treated extremely well here. We all got our toe nails painted and the results were fantastic. They guarantee color for two weeks, but I think mine lasted three plus!The staff were extremely friendly and sociable. They really know how to treat their fellow community members.Great selection of colors. They offer standard polish as well as gels. Their range of services is extensive as well.

I get Senior trim on my toes,I cannot do my own. Quick, friendly. I didnt feel like a burden, they even helped me put on my shoes and socks....$12 bucks.
