The doctor here is a really good doctor. Very polite and knowledgeable. But the front office is very unprofessional and rude. change the staff here. And this place will be much better.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE AND HEALTH.The office staff were always pretty good, I went for general family medicine. Almost every time I change doctors and have to tell them over and over again what is wrong even though its in the notes. The last time I went, which is the last time I plan to step foot in the building, 2 male drs. refused to what a female dr. had set in place for me. X-rays, if those were good then move to mris. They didnt even have my xrays and had to request them after calling and saying they received them. I was told all of my pain was due to my weight even though when I was 50 lbs lighter I had the same issues. Told them I cant get up more than 2 flights of stairs without my knee and leg hurting so bad I have to sit down... but ya know thats my weight and not something that is making my knee swell to 2 times its size. He told me well yeah its going to kinda hurt after you use it (knee) all day.. no this is after I wake up in the morning and go down to make coffee. My comments were ignored. I also went in for massive back pain from an injury and some major head pain/dizziness/vomiting/etc and was told to take ibuprofen after telling them over and over I cant take Ibuprofen. Just went in to get MRI ordered and move on to figure out what the hell is wrong. Nope, gotta lose weight and drink water. OH! DONT FORGET THE COVID VACCINE THEY KEPT TALKING ABOUT! My back is constantly in pain ok well, are you vaccinated? Takes a deep breath and back spasms, the pain is right there! well the vaccine is really recommended... when I ask about the pain they change topics back to what they wont do and the vaccine.LONG STORY SHORT.Find someone else. I did and my new Dr. already identified that my knee pain is from a slightly torn meniscus and tendon damage that may require repair surgery. I have a brain scan coming up, as my symptoms point towards tumors and warning signs of strokes. My back, got an MRI for that coming up, the running theory is a torn muscle.

What a scam. You are lead to believe that the office visit is affordable. Just over $100. Then they send you a bill for more than a specialist costs. I didnt get labs or procedures done either .

This is the worst medical facility Ive ever experienced! Stay away!! I guess I should have realized this is a school.. theyre still all learning how to be doctors..good luck!

I have lived in Las Vegas for mite than 14 years and have been blown away by these Doctors. The level of care and the compassion they have displayed has thoroughly rejuvenated my thoughts on Healthcare in Las Vegas. I dont see hiw the last reviews were from the same Office. They git out of their way, the Doctor calls me at home to check up on hiw I was doing. Amd even though its a teaching hosoital feel totally taken care if and dont want to go anywhere else. Its not just the Doctor (Intern seeing me) you are getting input from all of the Doctors that are training them and I and my husband really felt luke they cared about me and him..and something Ive never felt here with any Doctor. Ever. So .. do yourself a favor . And meet these Doctors so you have a comparsuin to se3...it will blow tour mind. These Doctors are just getting their speciality so they have a hunger and excitement about everything theyre doung and it truly shows they care. That alone is priceless...priceless. remember that. I guarantee you havent had this experience ever...

I’ve been to many places and have seen many doctors from at least three different states. I have to tell you Dr Weismiller is one of the nicest doctors I have ever had the pleasure to talk to. He spends time to talk to you and answer questions, although, concise, but very thorough. The real Gem is the office manager, Mahasin. She goes above and beyond the call-of-duty for her patients. I needed a document signed and faxed a while ago and just recently called from quest needing lab orders. Every time She stopped what she was doing to make sure I was taken care of. So rare in the medical field, especially in times like these with COVID-19. Thank you for being amazing. I highly recommend this office for anybody looking for a primary care physician.

Why is this place still open. Why are they hiring workers that doesnt care about atleast good customer service. I didnt even asked for excellent customer service. So sad that doctors working there are affected because of the assigned workers. Im definitely changing doctor because of this. Were paying high health insurance for a bad service. Its not right. Getting a prescription refill is impossible.

WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS!!!RUN, DONT WALK!!!Run -- dont walk -- away from this substandard Primary Care Provider that has steadily worsened to become a downtown welfare Medicaid clinic.My most recent (and final) horrible experience:I had a serious infection, with pain and inflammation bad enough to interfere with sleep.It took 13 days to get an appointment!!They decided my infection was too serious for them, and referred me to a specialist. But they mis-classified the referral as Routine not Urgent so the specialist gave me an appointment 8 MONTHS AWAY!!!I spent hours bouncing around between their referral desk, my insurance company and my insurance agent before I finally got an appointment, elsewhere, by which point Id been sick 2 months already!!I am finally having a surgery to remove the remnants of the infection, 2-1/2 months after I first sought care.Im leaving UNLV Family Medicine after over 10 years as a patient.CARE DELAYED = CARE DENIED!!!If you have a choice of primary care, DONT GO HERE!!!

Absolutely horrible, it is impossible to get an appointment, you are usually left on hold for HOURS. Do not try the call back option because you will never get a call back. They will find every which way to bill your insurance and require you to make multiple appointments for work that couldve been done in one appointment because all they want is your $$$.Medical care in Nevada is terrible, but this place is one of the worst.

I see Dr. Weismiller here so I cant speak for the other doctors. This is the best doctor I have seen since Ive moved to Vegas. Most of the doctors, and healthcare in general, here in this state, are awful. This doctor is by far the best Ive seen for Primary, and hes better than the ER doctors Ive seen here. Ive had short waits and he gets things done quickly. He is very knowledgeable and logical with his care, instead of just guessing about your issues. I really appreciate him. If youre looking for a great primary, hes the one!

I have been seeing Dr Lao and its been pretty good so far. He listens which helps a lot. So Far so good. He ordered some test that ive tried to have other doctors do that they never would but he made it happen. Waiting for the results.

I had the pleasure of going to UNLV Family Medicine clinic, on 06/15/2020. My encounter was absolutely Professional and amazing, from beginning to end. I am a new resident of Las Vegas by one year. I want to Thank , Teria, Holly, the young lady that called me to come to the back , and much gratitude to Dr. Hosotani! You guys are so wonderful. I saw nothing but, teamwork from beginning to end . Medical residents are all nice, but the office is not run well. I have been calling for two weeks for a prescription refill, and have not gotten anything accomplished. Medical assistant Michelle said it’s not her fault and hung up on me today. I will be going to the office in person to get my refill, and then changing to a legitimate clinic. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!! Biggest waste of my time.

Every appointment is scheduled for only 15 minutes. This isn’t enough time to even explain what your issues are let alone be treated for them! And it’s almost impossible to speak to your dr directly or contact them at all. This city and state needs to catch up with the rest of the country and start utilizing the technology of 2020! For example “my chart” which is incredibly helpful to patients and dr’s both! Las Vegas in general needs to get with the program! The entire health care industry here is seriously a laughable joke! I feel sorry for people that were born and raised here because this is all they know and this is pretty pathetic compared to many many other city’s and states. My health has rapidly declined upon moving here. The whole thing just baffles me as to how bad it is here. Scary.

Great place to establish primary care. Appointments do not take months and months to schedule. Family medicine residents have more time and interest in your care than your average doc in a box, and are current in their medical knowledge. Eric at the front desk was recently very helpful straightening out some record keeping with me. I recommend this clinic to anyone seeking to establish care here in the Las Vegas Valley!

Nasty staff..

My only complaint about this place is that it is next to IMPOSSIBLE to call through for ANYTHING, every single time. Each appointment requires multiple attempts over multiple days to get hold of anyone! This has been consistent through the past few years!!

Awful experience. I dont know whats happened, but they have no effective system to process appts. or even handle prescriptions. I have been trying to get refills on my medications for the past 2-3 weeks. I have called over and over again...no response. Left message, phone calls never returned. Currently trying to find another primary care physician.

It took them nine months to diagnose and schedule treatment for a very common out patient procedure. Nobody seems to know whats going on. A referral was lost at one point , causing a big delay. Things that were supposed to be forwarded to the specialist were never forwarded . Every step of the way was another authorization, another 2 -4 weeks of waiting .I had to follow up constantly. The doctor even told me that I might be better off faking severe pain at the ER , so that I could get treated quicker. It took so long that my insurance coverage changed in December , and now I cannot afford the out of pocket cost for the procedure. I probably dont have a legal case , but I feel that they let really me down.

Very hard to get a hold of someone in this office. I finally got a hold of someone but the customer service needs work. Doctor barber is great.

Horrible horrible horrible! Before I even walked to the doctor’s office the lady named Stephany started to argue with me that I had to be at the office at 1! When I called in a morning prior my appointment and they said I have to be here at 1:30! After we argued she checked the system and said oh true u have to be here at 1:30! I said don’t you want to check your system before start arguing with customers! On what she just start ignoring me! Horrible customer service!!!!!

Unbelievably unprofessional.I had scheduled an appointment for a procedure at LEAST a week in advance. I arrived 10 minutes earlier, just as they asked. I checked in early and waited an additional 20 minutes before I was taken back. Once they escorted me to the “surgical room”, they did the normal blood pressure check then DISAPPEARED for AN HOUR. I left the room to search for anyone, confused as to why no one had come back. I found a nurse who informed me that the doctor was there but they didn’t have a physician in the office to overlook the procedure. They had me RESCHEDULE and didn’t have another availability for OVER A WEEK. They weren’t accommodating, they weren’t the slightest bit apologetic. This is the second day I’ve had to request off due to their irresponsible and unorganized office. Go to a REAL doctors office, don’t waste your time like they’ve wasted mine.UPDATE:Came back for my rescheduled appointment, have been currently sitting in the room. It’s been 45 minutes since I last was checked in on and I’ve just been informed that the doctor is currently not even in this building, he is at a hospital.Believe me when I say this should be considered malpractice AND patient abuse.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!!

Terible customer service!! They make you feal like ur a burden. Apts are terrible. They screwed up my husbands referal and refered him to a completely different specialist. It was a lot of run arounds and he gave up.I have had many experiences here due to insurance. Let me rephrase many bad experiences.I havent had a great experience with Drs. Either. They talk to you as if ur a little child and do not listen.

Dont come here. You can hardly reach them via phone, email or any other method of communication. Went in for annual blood work as covered under my insurance, then Dr Huyn decided I only need some panels done and surely charged my insurance for everything they can....while testing me for as little as possible. I also had to go to quest diagnostics to have my blood drawn and the receptionist didnt even advise this facility can draw bloods on certain dates.Save you self the hassle.

Been sitting here over an hour cause they screwed up my appointment time & now it screwed with the rest of my appointments for the day & need to get the the airport!! Poor customer service & patient care!! If you cant get an appointment right why would I trust you with my healthcare?!?! The nurses & front desk staff are acting like oh well not my problem, which is even more frustrating that they are not trying to correct the situation or make it better to provide upstanding customer service!! As a HR professional, this is completely baffling & if I was a secret shopper, there would be lots of people getting written up or terminated for the attitude & lack of customer compassion & care!! I would NEVER recommend or promote a facility that lacks in customer service to patients cares & needs!!

Had a great doctor and experience here. I usually hate doctors appointments but they treated me fast and efficiently so I definitely will be going back.
