My wife had several chest x-ray radiographs taken at Steinberg Diagnostics yesterday. She said that the technician was very personable and friendly. The technician was very patient with her while performing tasks. The front desk personnel were very helpful giving guidance while my wife completed the paperwork before she was tested. The whole experience reflected a very professional atmosphere. Ken

This office is a total cluster F. To many workers and none have a clue what to do,totally disorganized. Have been sitting here for an hour now they gave me my pill 45 min ago and it is starting to wear off already. What a nightmare. All alone and still no service.

I am super critical of customer service. I went Through some thyroid issues and am nervous when I enter this place. I can’t say enough and rarely write reviews. But I am almost emotional today because of how this place runs.As a patient, here is what I observe;The folks at the front door especially the sister doing the Covid screenings have amazing positivity and personality. They always make a funny when I come in. She walks your to the sign in sheet to show you what to do, and makes sure you find a seat, safely distanced from others.The gals at the front desk run on time and are super well trained.The folks doing the screenings are honest, positive and amazing.I guess I would say, whoever is running this place is super on it! The moral from my point of view is awesome! Your team seems to want to be here, and care for us. One of the few businesses left that operates as such a high level! I’m going to go out on a ledge and call you all “The Apple of X-ray!”

I had a great experience here. Came in to get a mammogram and ultrasound and when I called they were able to get me in within 2 weeks which was much better than the place my doctor originally recommended. I was really impressed with how clean and nice the facility was. In fact I think its one of the nicest Ive been in. Every staff member was nice and both women who did my mammogram and ultrasound were sweet and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this place. The best part was that my doctor received my results the next day.

Keep their patients in the dark. Constant waiting without being told why. My MRI appointment was scheduled for 10am and it’s 12:30pm and I’m still waiting for my medical records. Shitshow here, no transparency. Go somewhere else.

I went in for a mammogram and bone density test today. The facility is clean, well organized, and well staffed. They follow covid guidelines for safety. The lovely, kind Cambria and the lively, spirited Valerie were terrific technicians -- professional, knowlegeable, and compassionate. I have nothing but praise for this facility and its employees, esp these two ladies. Thank you, people!

Billing is bad here. Even though the insurance is agreeing to pay x amount, they require you to pay it up front and once they get the check from the insurance company, they refund you your money. 5hia process can take many months per their billing department. That billing method is probably not legal, Is suspect. Someone needs to check to check on that.

I’ve had two MRIs done before by Stienberg at the end of March however my insurance company incorrectly billed part of my deductible to Stienberg, which I had already met my deductible to earlier date of service provider, however Stienberg reflects I owe them $250 because of the incorrect billing from my insurance company.I needed to go into Stienberg again for another MRI at the end of April and they wanted me to pay the balance first. I declined and didn’t get service, even though MRI is medically needed, so I could look into the matter more. That’s when I found out that my insurance company incorrectly billed Stienberg which I finally was able to get claims submitted to start being reprocessed on May 11. It’s was June 23rd and my claims were still not reprocessed yet by my insurance company however I still need to get an MRI for my doctor. I called Stienberg on June 23rd to try and schedule MRI, they scheduled but said if they couldn’t verify with my insurance company the billing issue that I would have to pay full balance before being seen. Which they said that they would call my insurance company to confirm. Well I received a call on the June 24th from a Stephanie, which I missed, called back and left message which I never got a call back. So called in again today the June 25th, and spoke with a Stephanie in billing department, which she proceeded to tell me “oh everything is correct, and you owe us the money”, she never even called my insurance company to verify that once my claims were reprocessed that I would not owe the balance and insurance company would pay them remainder. She was extremely rude in her communication and non helpful. I explained that I understand the balance stays on the account until the claim was reprocessed however that I still needed to be seen in the mean time without paying off that incorrect balance of $250, and that all she had to do is verify with my insurance company. She tell’s me to hold, very rudely, then comes back on in less that 5 minutes saying that she “can’t wait to verify the information and that this is my problem”. So basically what she is saying is that she is too busy to do her job and help a patient out who needs medical care. I got her supervisor’s number named Anna and left a message. This is very sad that we have lack of caring in the health care industry, and these scenarios are common. From a pure logical stand point it makes no sense and is just bad business for them. They were paid $120 by me when I got the MRI (coinsurance) then paid $480 by the insurance company, so a total of $600, and are complaining about the $250 they are owed, which if they just verified with my insurance company they would see that would eventually get paid out, but in the mean time miss out on getting paid $350 on a new MRI and probably another $200 on two X-rays that I need done also, totaling $550 they are missing out on because of a $250 error on the insurance company. I’m mean seriously who runs these places and staffs the people?? IDK they may just lose my future business all together.

They really take your health and safety seriously. Temperature when you arrive, seats pre- marked as socially distanced, ink pens separated as clean and dirty, staff very friendly and helpful! Great experience 🙂

I was quite comfortable with the staff. They helped me feel at ease and as if I could smile. The ultrasound technician was caring and sensitive to my abilities and disabilities. Ill now have much less anxiety about having an exam there. The wait to be seen was a little long, but the check in and paper work was fast and efficient. Good for them.

So rude. So unbelievably rude to my elderly father in law with copd. His face shield isnt enough and has to wear a mask, which I perfectly understand. But when he asks to wait outside so he can breathe he was treated rudely and as if they didnt have time to deal with him, going as far to say well if you arent in here, we cant help you. So thankful for the lady distributing masks and taking temps was kind enough to inform him when his name was called. Certainly never trying to come back here again.

First thing: 1 hour for a routine mammogram! Why do I have to be there 30min early to fill out 1 piece of paper? You wait 30min in the front waiting room and 20min in the back waiting room for a 10min procedure?2nd thing: I Turned in an ultrasound for my thyroid nodule and they couldnt open it, so they did nothing. Had to call and was on hold for 36 min to find this out. They couldve called my doctor or me, but nothing!The only person that seemed concerned about any of this was the office manager.I dont understand why the lack of urgency, especially during covid. I would think you want people in and out, not hanging out among other patients in waiting rooms.3rd thing: why does it take an average of 25min on hold to make an appointment? For those of us who work in places that you cant answer your phone, unless on break, we have to call in to make our appointments. You can not make a specialty appointment on line?Come on Steinburg get your efficiency inline!

Having a bad bout of kidney stones means your Doctor is going to have you get scanned before and after your procedure. With that said I have had to come here more than I would like. Every time I have though they welcome me with a smile at every point of contact. Their facility is spotless and well maintained. Their staff super friendly and attentive. This last time Cathy in the CT/MRI department took terrific care of me. She explained what type of scan I was getting and how the injecting of the dye would work. During the waiting period she covered me with a blanket and made sure I was comfortable. You can tell she takes pride in her care and enjoys where she works. If you have to get any type of imaging make sure you ask your Doctor to refer you here.

I brought my dad in. We were late and they were closed but they took him in anyway. Im fairly certain that Jasmine, the young woman at the front desk, is an Angel. My dad has Alzheimers disease. This is the first time Ive ever had to deal with this...now I know why Ive heard bad things about this place.. I have a universal referral form from my doctor they clearly states I am a high-risk need things done ASAP they told me they cant do anything without a referral number ... I got the referral form dont understand why I have to wait now ... I need to get in ASAP she told me it would be a 14-day wait even with a referral from doctor and the real referral number there waiting for which could take several days...by then who knows what the condition of my health will be if I could even be able to make it there...

Have already “Yelped” this facility, but wish to recount my experience. I have privacy PSTD issues. I wanted to get my leg scanned to eliminate any issues of blood clots. I did not have to disrobe completely. What I had been thinking and worrying about a horrendous experience, turned out to be a picnic in the park. Said, done and over with in a half hour! Marie was the tech. The whole staff seemed “PeoplePerson” with their reassuring words and friendly smiles. I went to the one on MarylandParkway and would highly recommend after an unforgettable nightmare when I went to Simon. Actually just walked out.

I’ve had appointments and walk in scenarios here and each time was as pleasant a experience as the staff could make it. One test was four hours long and I was mighty sickly, a staff member who wasn’t even working with me directly took the time to grab me some blankets to make me more comfortable. I didn’t ask her, she took the initiative to make me more comfortable. Xrays are walk in only, and I was out way before expected. Can’t ask for more!

My wife went in for an Ultrasound, she called ahead to see if I could go with her, they said yes. When we got there the lady who called her in told me to stay in the lobby and she would come back and get me... she never came back and I missed our first ultrasound. When my wife came out she was crying, telling me they didnt even show her the ultrasound all they told her was that her doctor would be calling her soon.

Great experience with the staff!! My idiot doctors office never sent over my referral so when I showed up for my appointment I was stuck. The doctors office wouldn’t answer the phone when we called and called and called. After sitting for an hour , the staff at Steinberg told me they made some calls and got hold of the doctor and I was good to go. Great job Steinberg, you show how much you cared about me and having to wait without me complaining, you stepped up and got me taken care of.

Positively the worst place to go if your looking for honesty. I get quoted one price on the phone so I can compare with other companys for MRI. Pay the price when I get the MRI only to get a bill in the mail. Their excuse, Insurance. Oh yeah this must of been your first dealings with an insurance company...NOT! STAY AWAY!!!

I have learned over the years that it is just plain frustration free not to make an appointment. I have been going to the Tenaya office for years, and I have learned the flow of things; it works. The wait times really aren’t bad when considering how many people are being seen. The staff and equipment are amazing.I would have giving 5 stars, except making an appointment shouldn’t be so hard.Again, once you are there you are in good hands.

First of all...the MRI tech was the best Ive ever had...what a wonderful, caring, patient person....even despite that...this was the worst radiology experience of my life...Im having nightmares I havent had for over 40 years, because scheduling didnt listen to my repeat comments about a condition I have. LISTEN when patients talk and ASK QUESTIONS if you dont totally understand what they are saying!! Im going to be paying for this experience for a long long time :(

For any female that needs to have a stereotactic biopsy done, let me just tell you, PLEASE go see Dr. Shah and Edmee Miura at the Tenaya office. This actually is the only office they do this procedure out of but I think there are several doctors and technicians so be sure to request Dr. Shah and Edmee!! I just had it done 3 days ago and they are a fantastic team and were wonderful. I was so scared but they were gentle, thorough and compassionate. They took their time to answer ALL my questions and it was easier than I anticipated. They were patient with me and made sure I was comfortable with what was going to happen before getting started. It was relatively quick and I am so glad its over. Everyone in this office was nice, helpful and Id HIGHLY recommend them. Im a big baby when it comes to pain and I really mean it when I say they helped me through the whole procedure and were with me every step of the way. Dr. Shah went above and beyond and I wouldnt go anywhere else!! If you have to have this procedure done, dont even hesitate!! Seriously, book with Shah and Edmee. Youll be glad you did!! :) Good luck.

They very, rarely ask you to wait more than 8 minutes, or so. Ive had many visits due to health issues and Ive always found them to be kind and compassionate. They have walk-in ultra sounds, tho, you should expect a wait, as a walk-in, even then, its never more than 20 minutes. They keep up with the latest equipment and tests which Ive found very helpful with MRIs, and the higher number of image slices. Ive even gotten images, as old, as 13yrs in the past and they had them in a day for me. I find every area & department to be knowledgeable of their jobs, kind and courteous.

I was given a referral by my sons pediatrician for an x-ray. We arrived and waited almost an hour and a half before we were called. When we went up, the lady told us that they couldnt accept the referral since a doctor hadnt signed it. Really? It was an official print-out from the doctors office. You cant check for a signature right when the document is given to you? You have to wait an hour and a half to tell someone that? My 8-year-old and 5-year-old waited patiently for an hour and a half. She claimed she called the pediatrician to try to get authorization, but they were closed. Really?? When I left, I called the pediatrician and got through immediately. Horrible HORRIBLE service!

I am reading some of the ridiculous one star comments here and I just find it funny that people complain about wait times at medical facilities, in America - that was invented here, and Ive had long wait times at my TOP, high end doctors offices and hospitals, and Ive had to wait at the not so great providers facilities. Wanting people fired because they fumble. You would REALLY want to do that to someone?? Please, get over yourself.As for my experience: Ive been coming here for MRIs for years and have always had great service. Its busy, yes, Ive had to wait, yes, but I am not compelled to be a total jerk about it. In fact. I have another MRI in a couple of days and I look forward to having the knowledgeable staff assist me with getting imaging of my damaged spine section, so I can continue my work toward surgery. And, I want to thank the people there who take care of others and who are in Service of Others. You help us get things done and Im sorry that you have to deal with inconsiderate people, office bureaucracy, short staffing and other challenges.

Been coming here for years for all kinds of tests. Wait times vary for walk ins , it just depends on how many people decided to come in the same time as you did. I had set appointments times as well and you still wait if it is very very busy because they try to squeeze in the walk in and emergency appointments the doctors need in between the set times , but if you have an appointment time you don’t wait long at all . I’m always seen under 30 minutes and that includes all my paperwork that they have to process and collect. I did plenty of walk in as well and a lot of time it was great I was in and out in u see 45 minutes. Paperwork, tested and all. Best of all in every department the staff is great, they are friendly, helpful, caring, and always answer all my questions. I have a lot of illness so like I said I have had a lot of problems with my autoimmune disorder and I am a cancer survivor so I have had and still am always having a lot of test done over the years . They are great , oh and super clean which is always a plus too :-). I have visited their Tenaya location and shadow lane location. Both are friendly and clean .Even the people on the phone who make the appointments are great. Only one time ever did I get someone who was somewhat not so easy to talk to . That was one time out of literally at least 100 x I’m going to say she was having a bad day. Lol . I alway go in and get copies of my records all the time and I love ❤️ them they give me copies in less than 5 minutes no problem for the written record and if I want another copy of the cd as well which the doctors usually don’t need unless it was the ordering doctor they will still give it no problem it just might take them couple minutes longer. I think I waited the longest for my extra copies of the cd was like 15 minutes on a busy day in their office and remember it takes the computer time to transfer to the cd and the time it take them to get to me so really 15 minutes is not nothing when they are taking care of me and the technician is still doing their jobs and doing test on people that same day . I really don’t know who would give this place anything less than a 4-5 ⭐️ stars and I really am a fair person. In the medical field unfortunately we have to wait anywhere we go but I don’t believe this place is making us wait because the doctors decided to take a longer lunch break or something like that. I think if u got one of their long days then u just got there on a day that literally everyone is sick and everyone decided to come at that moment and who know they probably had some employees who were sick themselves and called in and we’re short staff . I’m sure we all know how that feels to be at work at a day where we are short staff and our customer do nothing but complain and yell at us and forget that this could be them . So if anyone read my comment ignore the under rated ones I so don’t feel that they deserve it . I got three more visits set up with this place and I’m sure I will wait but at least they are nice and I know I won’t wait forever. 90% of time your in and out which like I said is really really good for a medical appointment. hope this explains everything and helps in any way to answer some of your questions. I’m not sure how many locations they have all together I can only speak on the two I have been to , but I’m sure if those two are good then maybe the others are good as well if not go to theses two 😂😁and then call their main office and let them know how they really drop the ball 😂. We were in here yesterday under the directions of our 2 year olds pediatrician. As you can imagine, when your 2 year old has been sent for an ultrasound on her throat/neck in a moments notice, you can be a bit frazzled, to say the least. The gal who scheduled the appt over the phone was incredibly nice. The young gal who took our payment was also incredibly nice. The woman at the front desk acts like she hates her job and everyone in the room as well. I thought, maybe shes having a bad day. Then we get back to the room and when we explain what the pediatrician sent us there for, we were looked at like we were stupid people by the tall blonde tech who was going to do the ultrasound. We were told that ultrasounds are done on the outside. Well, I have had 3 babies, I am aware of that, but I am also aware of the fact that they are done on the outside IN ORDER TO SEE IN! otherwise, how do they see the baby through your belly. So the fact that our dr wanted an ultrasound done in order to see tonsils, was not sounding far fetched to me. I also researched it after we left and yes, they do in fact perform ultrasounds in our case. They do CT scans in order to see them also however getting a 2 year old to sit still for that is close to impossible without sedation. This woman could have simply stated, I dont think we have the equipment for that type of procedure but let me check or even NICELY stating that an Ultrasound is not a common procedure for this would have sufficed. But looking at 2 parents who have been a wreck all day, had been crying not knowing what was going on with their daughter, and treating them as though they are complete idiots, was not appreciated. I will not return to this facility nor would I recommend it. I cannot imagine all of the reasons people have to go there, but I am sure people come in scared, unknowing what is happening with their health. And the staff should be more pleasant and patient and welcoming than what I experienced.

Called first week of June for a mammogram but nothing available until July 26th, thought WOW thats quite a long time, but okay, not really looking forward to it anyway. So went in today for my 1:30 schedule appointment and saw it was busy, signed in and waited. Around 2 they called me to the admitting room. I had a person that just started in that department so that took awhile as they didnt know how to work the computer. After that I was taken to the mammogram room and was told to fill out a form and someone would come out to get me...well I was not called until almost 3. The actual procedure took less then 5 minutes. Ive gone to many different places for mammograms and never, never had to wait so long without someone coming out to let me know why it had to take an hour and a half for a procedure. Ill never schedule any procedure in that facility again 😠😤😡 ...wish I could make it negative stars.

I have to not eat or drink any water my appointment was at 7:00 am and it’s been over a half hour and they still haven’t even called me back. Seriously my muscles are twitching from dehydration this place is horrible and obviously understaffed.

PET exam was to be head to toe to refute the stage 3 -4 cancer Centenniel Hills said I had. Had the PET done and they only went to mid thigh? Went rounds & rounds with my Primary care physican & Steinberg Diagnostics as it was ordered head to toe. When I went in for the test I asked her three times if it was head to toe reitterating there is a huge mass on my shin bone & she clearly said yes. But when they did the test they only went to mid thigh & the results came back inconclusive non malignant, benign & because of location behind vital organs I will have to wait 6 months for the mass to grow to a location it can be accessed. 4 weeks later my primary care physician is calling me for a biopsy. Who do you believe? Steinberg refuses to redo the test for me as I believe it was not done correctly to begin with. I dont think I waited the 45 minutes required for proper results, they were in a hurry as they had numerous patients waiting. I am being asked to do an MRI with them now & think Id rather die than to spend one more minute or dime with this incompetent company! If you want to risk your life with inaccurate, inconclusive results and subject yourself to surgery & possible death then by all means go there. If you want sincere accurate results I recommend you ask to be referred to any other company than them.

Wow, have just read several bad reviews about the staff, wait times, and inaccurate results. I have been to the N Tenaya location on several occations. For X-Rays, CTs, and MRIs with not any bad experiences. The staff has always been helpful, I did have to wait a little longer for one of my MRIs but they made me comfortable. There are no perfect people and sometimes mistakes are made, none that would cause harm to the patient or misleading results concerning the procedure they had done.

On March 4, 2016 I went to an appointment at the Tenaya Office for a routine Mamogram. Nothing unusual happened until the next day... I woke up to a burning sensation under my breasts. After inspecting myself in the mirror it was clearly a yeast infection!!! I am so upset and want all women being sent to SDMI to ask them to clean the equipment before your exams!! :(

I was booked for an appt at the ungodly hour of 8am, check-in at 7:30am. Imagine my surprise when I show up to the office early at 7:20 and see they already have a packed waiting room.Apparently the lobby opens at 6:30 am. They overbook the office on purpose because they are greedy and cheap. I am still waiting to get in at 8:59am. I feel bad for the woman in the wheelchair who complained to the front desk that she had been here since 6:30 am and has barely gotten service. II understand Drs. offices get backed up from emergencies and sometimes things run long, but booking several people from open to close at 15 minute intervals is bad business if you know you wont be able to serve them.100+ minutes wait time in the lobby for a scan is ridiculous, especially at this time in the morning. It goes to show their purposeful greed and overbooking for the poor staff.

Horrible service booked me at the wrong location, waited for hours, unscrupulous charges.they have picked the bottom or the barrel for employees.Will never go to SDMI ever again!!!Stay away go elsewhere!!!

Said I was fine, had 4 ruptured discs, bilatural neural radicular stenosis, and spondylithisis. Had to go to UCLA to find out. Vegas Valley has the worst healthcare!

The staff is always pleasant, they are organized and remember your name when you come back in. They seem proficient in their jobs, and the only bad experience I had there was a breast biopsy that hurt like the dickens!

Wend to my primary physician who ordered a ultra sound and told me to make a appointment with Steinberg. Made the appointment with them arrived for the appointment 45 minutes later they told me they didnt take my insurance. Had to go back to my physician so i could get sent to another facility had a lump in my breast waited 4 months because Steinbeg didnt tell me at the beginning they didnt take my insurance.

Disorganized, inconsiderate, we waited for 2 hours to get one x-ray. People walking around without acknowledging patients or explaining the process. Inhumane treatment, for care workers, they have no compassion at all.
