Dr. Perel is a great doctor and so is Kevin his side kick. Front office personal are very nice people. BUT... The billing office is not very good with math. My co-pay should have been $60 and I was being charged $100. Billing called me and said I owe them more money. We got into a slight argument and I said Im not paying it because she rowed me money. In return I was reported to the credit union. Now I have a ding on my credit score.

After the opioid crisis...Dr. Perel seems to be managing His Image not my pain...Pain management has got to be a tough business, you have to be able to weed out the pill seekers versus the people that really need the pain management. There is no way Im letting you do injections on my neck and inflicting more pain when you WONT manage the pain Im in to begin with.WONT not cant, so I am changing doctors May 1 , 2021

I am super bummed because I had an appointment today and my referral friend had a typo and said, Glad your going to see Dr. Perlman today. I text back, I thought is as Dr. Perel and she read it and didnt reply ...I kept asking ...I thought it was Perel?? no reply....I was just over 4 hours away from my appointment and wanted to give as much notice as possible so I cancelled...minutes later I found out its the right doctor and was a typo....so I call back and my 1 PM appointment is still available of coarse and they wont give it back to me....they said no same day appointments...I said I just cancelled it.....and and they said its available but I cant have it....Dont understand that at all, plus theyre suppose to email me the paperwork and never did. now I have to wait another week....was trying to switch over fro Desert Orthopedics....confused and sad had my whole day arranged for this appointment....oh well...Policy is one thing but there needs to exceptions to that rule....the now open appointment is mine...just give it back .....simple

Dr Perel is the best but front desk guys are very rude and not helpful.I wish there was 0 fir this location.

Dr. Leon Perel performed bilateral hip injections at Comprehensive Surgery Center.My nurses, Jason, Leslie and Ellie were warm and welcoming . This is a busy Surgery Center.Keeping a Nurses touch in the midst was 5 star care.The care givers in OR suite were competent and I am afraid I did not get names. The nurse touching my hand under the drapes relaxed me.I opted out of sedation. My class was at 7pm that night and I needed to not be groggy.I experienced decreased pain that evening, and this morning.Astonishingly grateful,.the last 4 months are why I retired after 33 years of ICU/TRAUMA/ER Nursing.Time to take care of me. They have AWWWEEESOME Drs., Nurses, & Receptionists there! Their suggestions & prescribed medicines Certainly Fix Your Aches & Pains!!

My visits are always a good experience but if you have to talk to someone on the phone you have to leave a message and they never call. This makes some of the processes to take a lot longer cause you have to wait for your appointment to talk to somebody.

The worst place if you need to make an appointment or get a referral . Two hours on the phone with them they disconnect and when you call back they put you on hold because she is in other phone calls . Meanwhile I am waiting on hold and still waiting on hold. Need to find another pain center this one did nothing to help me with my knee pain in the past 5 years except give me pain pills and more pain pills.

I saw Dr. Leon Perel for the first time today. I was very impressed with his knowledge and patient interaction. He has a caring approach and will work with the patient to get the best results. He is a great doctor for your medical care.

Absolutely Worthless. After what amounted to an audition for help, I was told my pain was too severe to treat as they werent big on prescribing medication. My PCP referred me to the pain management specialist SPECIFICALLY due to the severe pain I suffer. What is the use of a specialist that wont exercise the authority to prescribe medication that standard doctors cant when its been diagnosed as necessary? Now I am right back where I started: in pain and desperately looking for a doctor to help. Dont waste your time as I did looking for help from this facility.

So far Ive seen them once for an accident injury . I was referred to Dr coppel by one of his other offices... at some point I want off all meds but for now they are working with both meds and pt so far to help both my pain and comply with the lawyer. So far only 1 visit and I know we will probably go back and forth a few times to get this right but I appreciate their time and effort trying to help me feel better.

They want to keep you in pain so you will agree to having expensive injections at the surgical center every other month. Not healthy at all to have steroid injections in spine so often, leads to electrolyte imbalance and raises likelihood of diabetes, glaucoma, osteoporosis, etc. My new PCP even warned me about this place. Five star reviews are most likely fake. F rating at BBB.

They are the worst people and I tried to tell them that I cant wear a mask but I have a shield but they still told me to wear it even it cause me to pass out they just dont care.

The staff was friendly and seemed sensitive to everyones needs. Dr Perel not only was caring but understanding to my needs. He was helpful in getting me to see a neurologist. I took my son to see Dr Perel and he was so helpful in helping him with his pain. He took his time and tied to find out the exact cause of the pain and prescribed a remedy for him.

BE PREPARED TO BE TREATED LIKE YOUR A DRUG ADDICT OFF THE STREET WANTING DRUGS FOR ILLEGAL PURPOSES.Dr. Didnt even get past medical records or MRIs or x-rays before suggesting surgery and or proceedures he wanted me to do.Staff treat you like only reason your patient is to get more pain medicine instead of like person trying to solve pain issue.I dont appreciate them treating me like a drug addict when i need a medical issue resolved not just more pain pills.

They ordered a cat scan for me to determine where a spine stimulator could be placed, due to my excessive hardware in my spine. When the results came back it stated that one of my cages has moved. The PA I saw that day said I needed to call my surgeon. I asked the front desk if they were going to order a referral. The girl said yes. It never happened. Over the next 2 months I called twice to request that the referral be sent to my surgeon, and it still never happened. That was my only problem with this office, Dr Perel was great, his PAs were great, the staff was nice. I considered the not ordering my referral to be a big problem, so I went back to The Center for Wellness and Pain Care.

Great staff & Doctors. Very clean. They handle the customers the best they can and everyone should be patient.

This is the best place for pain management, I’ve seen almost every pain management Doctors, this office truly takes time with me and listens and makes sure I’m doing ok. Some of the drugs I need they won’t write a RX for Soma this is a great medicine for me because I have severe muscles that ball up so bad you want to cry. I think if this is a medicine that helps disabled person they should give it . 😭😭😭😭

Started with Dr perril was not impressed stopped my xanex of 10 year in December been having withdrawals since and seizures...Dr thorn has been seeing me recently...he is awesome recommend him to anyone but not Dr perril sorry Dr we just didnt click

Dr. Perel was very professional, understanding and very knowledgeable! I have a spinal cord stimulator that was not giving me as good of results as 2 years ago. Dr. Perel has arranged the stimulators techs. to be at my next appointment. I had been with another pain management group but needed to change due to changing insurance. Dr. Perels office was able to make a new patient appointment quickly. The staff seems to honestly care about each patient. Great staff and doctor!!!

I have been in major pain for 17 years. Dr. Coppel was the only physician of many physicians that offered any hope. He gave me nerve blocks yesterday and they worked! I slept well last night for the first night in 17 years. Post this on your site if you want to because I get to stop narcotics now. It may not last forever but even one day is great!

Dr. Cook and his nurse physically assaulted. I was denied help because he doesn’t care.

My mother is handicapped and has been for 12 years due to a severe back injury. Her spine is a freaking mess, to put it short! This Dr. Perel was not only extremely smug and rude to her, but he took her down on her prescription medication and added on 3 more PLUS back cortisol injections(which doesnt help and is EXTREMLY unhealthy AND EXPENSIVE!), which is bad for her health since she ALREADY HAS KIDNEY AND LIVER ISSUES!!! This man/boy DOES NOT take patients health into consideration, but tries to put on a front like hes doing just that. Hes the most arrogant, out of touch, prissy little trust fund baby, who cares NOT for anyone but himself. Putting an older woman, whos health is DECLINING on MORE PRESCRIPTIONS, instead of just keeping her on what her PREVIOUS dr of 5 or 6 yrs has kept her on, cause hes 12 yrs old and knows SO MUCH BETTER.... Hes an arrogant COCKY PRICK, DO NOT GO TO DR. PEREL!!!!!!!

The facility whas very clean, front desk workers were very nice.

The wait times are highly inconsistent when it comes to this establishment. I considered it luck when I arrived early at an appointment and was seen before the appointed time.
