In the last month , He caused my friend to have more than 3 additional surgeries. She was right back to the hospital after 7 days with a lot Of pain. He doesn’t answer the phone and didn’t give attention to the problem that she had. On the day of surgery he was only thinking about how much surgery he had to due to overbooking and not concentrated on the patient in hand to do a perfect job. My friend had a lot complications and stayed in the hospital for 1 month. I pray he doesn’t do this to anyone else.

I was lucky enough to get the best in dr peter caravello Tuesday night nov5 2019 here in Vegas at summerlin medical hospital, I had a umbilical hernia for 6 years and finally it got incarcerated and gave me a big problem, the doc did emergency surgery and Im home now and recovering , pain from site is bad but to be expected ,I will be following up with him nov 15,I had 9 staples to close me up....thanks to everyone who was so awesome to me.....just got to heal....bill zanghi,please if you need hernia surgery, pray you get the best and I was lucky enough to get peter...

Seems to be great doctor. His office is horrible. At my wife surgery, he was aware she would be on blood thinners for a clotting disorder, however he still prescribed Ibuprofen - which is a no-no! He was over an hour late for the surgery - which he blamed on the big patient before us. Then he said to just call if the Ibuprofen and Tylenol were not strong enough. We called at 9:30 today (Friday), told them about the conflicting medication and her need for something stronger. No recall, no reply. Called again at 1:40, was told someone had seen our prior message, left another. I called at 2:05, was on hold until 2:20, started at 8th in queue. When the phone finally rang 6 times, then went to back of the line at 9th in queue. I will be glad to review this review if we get called back.UPDATE: I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. The Doctors office did call my wife back on Friday afternoon and updated her medications. Those werent strong enough, but when my wife called on Monday he provider her with a sufficient prescription.UPDATE 2: The office manager called to follow up with my wife (probably because of this review). She apologized to my wife, and I appreciate her efforts to get the information about this incident.

I went to see Dr Caravella for a colectomy.He put me at ease and did an awesome job.I had many fears and his way of dealing with me calmed my fears.Im 2 weeks since surgery and can feel already this is life changing.He is a rare thing in todays world a Dr that genuinely cares about his patients
