Dr. Baron is a good doctor but good luck getting anything from his front office staff. They are rude, dont pass on messages and phone calls are never returned. Good luck getting an appointment and then if you do get in you better make sure you ask Dr. Baron for everything you need because if you have to call his front office for anything you are wasting your time. Their standard answer is, If you are concerned maybe you should go to the emergency room.

Awful office and awful doctor. Disgusting and dirty office. There was blood on the floor and chairs in the waiting room. The front desk lady that greet you is awesome. The office manager is worthless. Rude and ditzy. She threw around Dr Barons name as if he was a celebrity. Theres a ton of patients in which they have actually discussed lodging a formal complaint to the medical board regarding him.Do your Child a favor and go elsewhere. All this practice cares about is money not caring for your Child.

Our son was born with a rare condition that required follow up with Dr. Baron. We found Dr. Barons office staff to be friendly and efficient. No wait time. The office is clean and well kept. Dr. Baron was friendly and very interested in or sons health. He even did us a favor by personally calling another doctor to get us in for an appointment we were having trouble getting in for. Thank you Dr. Baron

This is my child’s third Gastro specialist office, and they blow the other two in town out of the water. I don’t feel rushed with his doctor, they take time to talk with you about your child’s diagnosis, they answer questions. We were given a binder with tons of information, contact phone numbers, trusted websites for more information regarding IBD, Crohn’s and UC, it had support group information as well. When I have a question about a medication or a concern about my son, the staff always returns my calls. His previous two doctors offices were not this organized. These doctors truly care about the children they treat and offer support for the parents as well. Couldn’t be happier with the staff and doctors at Pediatric Gastroenterology & Nutrition Associates.

NO OPTION FOR NEGATIVE STARS!!! I expected the staff just to be un organized, but the Dr himself!! The whole practice is a mess, Dr Barron in short abused my son and threw him onto the exam table and pinned him down. My son has ADHD and was just having a not listening moment as do most children! Dr Barron was behind schedule that day and I guess didnt have time to have patience for a child. He went on to tell the nurse that my son was being combative, really!! You are grown man and a pediatric specialist, you are suppose to be patient and caring, not aggressive and impatient! So now My son and I have to suffer and do the referral waiting game over again because Dr Barron does not want to transfer my son to another Dr within the group. So because of one Drs negligence we have to start all over. A formal grievance has been filed regarding this situation! If you get referred to this group just leave, I am sure there are others.Forgot to add, We have a Hispanic last name but I am white, husband is Mexican-American, My son gets shy and plays the silent game, the dr was trying to ask him questions but my son was not answering, and he knows we all speak English, we dont even speak Spanish. The Dr says, I guess you dont speak English! He didnt even laugh it off like he was trying to make a joke, he was very monotone in his delivery. Very Raciest remark! The whole visit was sickening!

I was very happy with Dr. Baron when he would visit my baby in the hospital, hes a great doctor. Unfortunately cant say the same thing for his office staff. I dont like the sarcasm used because I was unable to keep my babys last appt, and was rescheduled for a month later and still cant get an appt according to our schedule, and then make you feel as if your not a good parent for not coming back soon, keeping in mind my baby has from 4 to 5 appts a week and I still work 40 hrs a week and having to take and pick up kids from school makes it extremely difficult to sometimes balance appts, I had even called that last time to try get in earlier so I can pick up my kid from school on time being they are 45 mins+ away from our side of town but always a no.

Someone cant be a good doctor if he refuses to see a patient. My daughter has severe, severe GERD. I was recommended to this office and made an appointment immediately. I saw a real twitchy, creepy guy named Dr. Rhee. I went back to the person who initially made the recommendation and she told me, No, Dr. Baron. You need to see Dr. Baron. Lo and behold, I looked up Baron and hes stellar, associated with the Mayo Clinic, etc., whereas Dr. Rhee has a health grade of 2.0 out of 5.0.Dr. Rhee recommended an endoscopy to see what was wrong with my daughter. But Im not letting anyone but the VERY BEST doctor -- especially in the Dr. Desai wasteland of Nevada --- put my daughter asleep and send an instrument down her esophagus that presents a small risk of puncture.Yet when I called the office back and asked to switch doctors, from Rhee to Baron, I was told that Dr. Baron refused to let me. REFUSED!One star, dude. Live with that.

This Doctors office is unprofessional and not the place to be if you are a concerned parent with a sick child. The front desk staff is impolite and the Doctors are mediocre. I was advised by the Doctor that my daughter needed an upper GI. I was informed his office would follow up with me to schedule the appointment, upon checkout, the same thing was confirmed by the employeed taking my payment. One week later I had still received no call. I called them to follow up and was told that I needed to call myself and make the appointment for the Upper GI. When I told the employee on the phone I was informed they would make the appointment she replied I dont know why theyd tell you that, we dont do it. She has no care or concern that I was given the wrong information. After I took my daughter for the upper GI an employee called me back and stated the doctor looked at the results, your daughther does have malrotation she will need to see the surgeon as soon as possible. When I tried to ask questions she advised me she couldnt answer them, I would need to follow up with a doctor. How unprofessional to contact a patient and advise them their infant needs surgery and not have anyone available to answer any questions. When the doctor did call me back 2 days later I was informed the surgery needed was laproscopic and outpatient, which gave me some relief. When I went to the surgeon, the surgeon advised me it was a magor surgery, she would be cut open and it would be a 5 to 6 day hospital visit. I was very upset! To hear from Dr. Barons office that my daughter needed surgery, not being able to speak w/a doctor, then the doctor gives me the wrong information, the office staff is rude, gives wrong information and has no concern that they do... my overall experience was terrible! I would not refer this office or its doctors to anyone!

While Dr. Baron is always very kind and patient, the staff is hurried, rude, and impatient. Every time I have called for medical advice (3 times) it takes more than 5 business days to hear back, and once I never heard back at all. Why have the line and take messages if you arent going to reply in a timely manner? My kid is sick now, I have questions now, thank you for replying a week later. The service and attitude is a joke. As a pediatric office, one would think that the staff would be patient in dealing with parents of sick children, but they are not. My husband was changing my childs diaper after the appointment in the room and the nurse came by 3 times to ask him to hurry up-as our child has a g tube, changing a diaper takes a little bit more time than those kids who dont have a foot long tube coming out of their kids belly, that the kid is constantly trying to grab and pull on. Give me a break.
