Been a patient of Dr. Reiter since 2015 and never had a bad experience with the good doctor. I had a root canal and it was pretty painless. Dr. Reiter truly does care for his patients. Anytime I would have any type work done he would contact me later on in the evening to make sure I wasnt in any pain. One of the best dentists I have ever been to

I have had many dental experiences in the past. I found this one to genuinely be the very best one. Anxiety always seems to part of most dental visits, but this time it went away quickly and it was virtually painless to get all the needed work done. My experience at Advance Dental was informative and just pleasant. The young lady who did my cleaning knowledge is so good; I knew I could do nothing but tell the truth. I went in for a cleaning, but also asked the doctor if I might need to change the fillings in my front teeth. I have to start by saying it is very rare for me to give a five star, a four is really good a five is exceedingly good. The staff here know what they are doing but I found the level of communication leaving something to be desired. There was little to no explanation of what to expect or do before, during, or after procedures.

As a person with dental visit anxiety, this doctor and all of his associates are life savers. They understand my anxiety and make me feel comfortable with visits and procedures. I get dental sedation for procedures and I trust them completely.Friendly and welcoming, as well as professional.

The staff and doctor are very approachable and friendly and helpful but we are not pleased with the caliber of work. We were never given a contract of what we were paying for so we ending up with a surprise. We were under the impression that the first total we paid was for all the work beginning to end. We had to pay more when he was ready for the actual denture set. The top dentures never have fit correctly. The dentist said that was normal and there was nothing he could do. Those dentures look like poor quality and dont fit well. They look like teeth from the candy vending machine. Were not satisfied. We considered another option but we decided we would not return there.

Im very pleased Dr. Reiter is my Dentist of choice, and has been for years. He, Shawna and Cathy are all very helpful, friendly and professional. Quick service & fast & easy explanation of diagnose, staff nice & friendly ,clean place

Being new to the area, and finally signing up for a medicare supplement that also provides dental coverage, we knew we needed to find a dentist. When we received the booklet from the medicare provider which listed all the dentists in the area in the system, we werent sure how to narrow down our choices. In order to do this we compared several dentists that listed the same addresses. This told us that they were probably in some sort of assembly-line type operation where we would not be receiving close personal attention. After eliminating those type dentists we were able to narrow down our choices considerably. From that point we looked at those single dentist with the fewest number of locations. We finally chose Advanced Dental and made our appointments. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted in a very friendly manner both on the phone and when we actually came to the office. From the time we arrived at the office until leaving we were very pleased with the professional manner of all personnel and the cleanliness of the office. We were presented with easy to understand treatment options with no pressure to make immediate choices. My wifes problem with gum issues was treated immediately whereas other dentist in the past had not addressed her problems sufficiently. She was very pleased to have that issue addressed to her satisfaction. We are happy to have made the choice we did in choosing Advanced Dental and look forward to having them deal with any dental issues we might have in the future.

I had many procedures (extraction, crowns, root canals, cavity fills, implants) done over the last few months to get ready for my implants and I’m always treated perfectly. The day I had my implants put in (three) we were scheduled for three hours and he and his assistant were done in hour in half. No pain and they always kept me informed and made sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend Advanced Dental. I don’t like going to dentist and don’t have time to be waiting in offices, that’s why I love Advanced Dental, always fast, courteous, and the least pain I have had ever with a Dentist. Overall I’m am highly satisfied and would highly recommended.

Everyone here is absolutely amazing. I am deathly afraid of the dentist and this was by far the best experience someone that is terrified could have had. They went slowly, communicated effectively and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. They were caring, made sure my insurance would cover what they were doing. I am getting married in a week and they were able to squeeze me in for a special procedure for my teeth. Additionally, the dentist had been in practice for a very long time and was extremely knowledgeable. 5/5 would HIGHLY recommend.

Doctor was in, again very pleasant and informative. Everything was taken care of. Scheduled for another day. As I left, the other lady at the desk gave me a welcome gift. So nice! This was very different from my experience at a different dental office in Las Cruces. Lets just say the exact opposite treatment. Thanks to everyone at Advanced Dental!

I went in with no prior knowledge of implants. 1) The 2 women at reception were very informal, not professional appearance. The first assistant, 1 of the 2, was nice but didn’t have information to offer. Once the dentist, Dr. Reiter, came to my chair I gave him my current dental status. 2) He basically stood there and looked at me. Then ran off to look at my x-Ray, I believe is what he said. 3) Why wasn’t there a screen nearby where he could show me what he saw that was key to my needs? I expected to receive data, information on the procedures, the product used, and anything else I needed to know. 4) I can’t ask questions about a procedure I know nothing about. Yes, getting answers from him and his 5) Asian assistant who did not speak English very well, was like pulling teeth! I know I want implants but I want to make an informed decision. I grabbed a pamphlet on my way out. Cancelled the next appointment so I could think about it further & research on my own. 6) I didn’t like the office set up at all. There appeared to be new, high quality equipment but just no walls, nothing but work counters that partially went about 2/3 of the way up to the ceiling. Every procedure and person is exposed. If I’m paying that kind of money I need privacy and competence. The whole situation made me question using this office for implants.

Everyone in this office has been amazing. Theyre always so nice and welcoming. Ive been to other dentists who tried to charge me for unnecessary procedures. Dr. Reiter is seriously the only dentist I trust in LC.

Due to doctors dental knowledge and experience, he place a temporary bridge and with his determination and hard work he aligned my teeth to have a perfect bite, when that happened the pain and inflammation has subsided. I thought just the alignment made a quick difference on my face. That was absolutely amazing.

I heard about the mini implants offered by Advanced Dental of Las Cruses from commercials seen at a family members house in El Paso; so while I was visiting, I contacted the office & was seen by Dr. Reiter for a consultation. Unfortunately, Im not a candidate for the mini implant, so I cannot offer much more of a review. I will say that Cecilia was the one who set up my appointment & she was very pleasant and professional.

I was able to make a dental appointment the day before and the office staff was very nice and helpful. The dental hygienist was very friendly, she took my xrays and cleaned my teeth painlessly. The dentist was also very friendly and helpful, much better than Dental Associates. My only complaint is that they would not except my verbal referral, you HAVE to bring the card with you or they wont give your referrer credit on their account.

My first trip to the dentist since I moved to Las Cruces (nearly 5 years ago). I fully expected a tongue lashing from the dentist and a very unhappy hygienist doing the cleaning. What I got was care that was truly beyond my expectations.Crystal, the hygienist, was wonderful. Such a cheery person, its contagious! Excellent cleaning as well. Dr. Reiter is pleasant. He was friendly and didnt waste my time trying to sell me services I am not interested in. Also have to give a shout out to Carol at the front reception area. Super friendly and went out of her way to help me when I realized I had left my new patient coupon at home. This is by far the friendliest medical staff I have encountered in New Mexico. I am someone who has always been very uneasy with dentist, and when I scheduled an appointment at this office it just seemed right. I was welcomed by the front receptionists once I stepped foot into the door. The ladies were very nice and willing to work with me, especially since I woke up late for my appointment. Rather than rescheduling me for another day, they just simply had me wait for a couple of moments with a fresh cup of coffee before I got in for my cleaning and check up with Harvey Reiter. The woman that did my cleaning was the best! I would recommend her to everyone. She was open to listening and she talked with me about a number of wonderful topics, making me feel so at ease with the situation at hand. I usually hate dentist and I just have never have had a good experience with anyone in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I was glad to have been welcomed by such a wonderful crowd of employees, and I truly can recommend this place for anyone who is as shaky with dentist as I am. Dr Harvey built a partial upper denture for me that cost me over $2000 which broke twice in 6 months. Las time broken in June 2019 and he refused to do anything about it. If I laugh it falls out of my mouth, I can’t eat on it because it falls out with the food. I wear it only if I’m going out but cannot eat at a restaurant comfortable because of the site of my upper mouth without teeth. Does Dr Reiter control his reviews? Why does he ONLY have good reviews when he is so dishonest.

I called this office and the staff member who took the call quoted me a price range for a replacement crown. Being on a fixed income with no dental insurance the price was important.I next asked if they had a six month payment plan. I was told yes.After arriving at the office I attempted to reconfirm these points with staff. They said the Dr. will need to speak with you first.When he came out I asked what the price for a crown replacement was. He quoted me $100 over the highest price staff quoted me. I responded by telling him what I was quoted by staff. He turned to them (in front of me) and said who told him that?I then asked if I gave him $$$ today could the balance be paid off in six months. He said no, it must be paid in full at the end of the second appointment.It would appear he will need to have a staff meeting.I left.
