Great gym. The multiple gym tier is great. It provides three different locations through the week depending on my schedule

Had an issue but Rob, the store manager did make me feel better about things and resolved it. He was very nice and made sure to go out of his way to make things right.

This gym gets the job done, but its pretty run down in comparison to the other locations. Bathrooms are gross, painting the grout doesnt help guys. Cardio equipment is about 20 years old and feels like it also. Replacing a few treadmill belts doesnt do much, as they still slip and shut off randomly. It would be nice to see a little attention given to this location.

They have a nice gym with plenty of weights. Also, they offer to watch your little one while you work out which is a big perk. Shelby is the best daycare associate, my son is always so happy after were done working out. My husband, his sister, and a few family friends have since joined in the last few months. They have classes and personal training, which a couple of us signed up for. Worth a check out.

This place is changing my life. The facilities are clean, nice equipment, great staff and trainers. I came in super anxious about being overweight. I was immediately reassured by Rob the manager and he paired me up with a phenomenal personal trainer Mat Matias. I love the classes they offer and the positive atmosphere.

My husband & I just moved here a month ago. We are consistent gym goers and we havent been able to get many workouts in for several weeks as we settle in. Today we worked out for the 1st time at Amped. I love the atmosphere and the equipment is nice and clean. The front desk was very friendly and made us feel at home. I joined today and cant wait to get back into it!

Love this gym staying open 24 hrs definitely helps me get in the gym with a busy schedule it gets hard during the day.

1-star purely off the cancellation policy. As with other gyms, its intentionally inconvenient solely to act as a deterrent, which worked well against me as would have preferred cancelling at least a year prior. Anyways, need to cancel in-person or by mail. Had no interest going in-person and have not sent a letter since this thing called EMAIL was invented.So, another mandatory $10 monthly payment + $32 annual fee(lol?) and Im out. Peace!You seem to have a solid product. Just dump the trash gym business practices..

Great gym, plenty of machines, free weights, and cardio . Only bad thing is this place gets packed and stays that way for a while. Cant beat the price and parking is decent.

Not a bro gym but also not your plane fitness. I wish they had a bit more squat racks, but other than that and the fact that its constantly busy I have no problems. Staff is pleasant and crowd is young

The staff, members, hours and space are perks of this gym. Good selection of equipment. Some of the ellipticals are pretty rusted and Ive found the temperature controls lacking occasionally (For example, we had a cool morning a couple weeks ago and it was easily 10-15 degrees warmer inside with no air flow). Otherwise a nice facility.

To start I went to cancel because to put it short this gym is mediocre at best. If you want to hunt for weights and workout with old equipment this is the gym for you. Crunch fitness is a much better gym although it is much more busy. The only plus side to this gym is it isn’t busy and it’s 24/7. To put the icing on the cake when I went to Cancel my “no commitment” membership the same month I got it, I was told I had to give a 30 day notice... that means I had to pay for one more month of service and the annual fee that is charged one month after the beginning of the membership. Don’t advertise no commitment if you lose an arm and a leg to cancel. For one month of going to this gym I’m going to pay about 60 dollars total. Sounds fair no doubt... Highly recommend not going here! Trust me.Reply to the owner: If you have to give a 30 day notice then I have to “commit” for at least one month. At the end of the day I payed for an annual fee that essentially mimics a cancellation fee. Legally you will get away with it because you get members to sign, but it is a slimy trick. Placing the annual one month after the sign up is genius. I won’t fall victim to again. You live and you learn.

2 out of 3 seated cable rows are draggy as hell and need pulley maintenance for 6+ months, especially by the screen. Cell phones barely work inside also.

My reason was simply that I had called the day before going to join I had asked if they were following covid guidelines. I was told absolutely. The next day I walked in and after observing no distancing or mask wearing I asked the lady at the front desk about the following of covid guidelines. Before she could even answer the gentleman next to her informed me that this is not a blue state and we feel that we can do as we please.I dont care about blue states or red states, I care about my health and others. I was extremely disappointed in this mans behavior. The lady was very nice.

✅ Edit: Upon returning to the gym, after my first review, the General Manager, Clay, came to me to address the concerns I had. He sincerely apologized for the experience we had and informed us that he would be holding an all staff meeting to go over the issues. He even credited our account for a month and informed us of the best times to come in when it’s not so busy! I must say this was incredible customer service, and honestly, changed my mind about switching gyms. I want to thank Clay again for the customer service he provided to us today! If you have any issues here please talk to Clay and I know he will do his best to make it right!!❌This place is always packed! Literally people everywhere! Really hard to workout when everything is always being used or taken up!Staff will watch you struggle with equipment and not offer any help or assistance. One guy literally chuckled at my wife and walked away instead of offering help! Currently looking for a different gym.

I am a current member of amped fitness I have the $20 membership. I needed to use the daycare for family in town -I don’t have little ones. I called to inquire and the manager got on the phone and spoke with me and said it’s not a problem. I came in with my friends and their little ones I was greeted by the general manager. A very warm welcoming. He handled us from the beginning to end walking us personally over to the daycare standing there waiting till we figured it all out. He was extremely friendly extremely hands-on and very five-star customer service.While waiting he spoke to one of the staffers about how one of the little girls were acclimating and it appeared that she was having a better day. Just an overall great experience.

Dont want to let you out of contracts after many notices emails and mailing in things still getting charged. Creepy overly aggressive personal trainers that are offended and argue if you dont sign up for there highly presssured programs.

Had a bit of a rocky start to my membership with getting my key card but overall seems like a very solid gym.

Had to cancel membership due to a medical emergency - this gym is inconsistent with the cancellation policy, depends who you get on the phone. Some will allow you to cancel over the phone, some will not. Not friendly, not helpful. Proof you get what you pay for.

First let me start by saying they offer you personal training and sign you up for it without telling you you are locked into a contract. The communication is horrible. Unfortunately I fell victim to this and didn’t find out until I tried to cancel. I tried speaking (in person) with Clay (who did not sign me up) but insisted I was lying and was made fully aware of the contract. He was very condescending, rude and argumentative. All after I explained to him, I was not here to argue, especially since he wasn’t there.This information was conveniently left out of the conversation. Furthermore, why wasn’t it there for me to read for myself prior to signing?Anyhow, for anyone thinking about signing up, the nutrition is “My Fitness Pal” not them! Just something else to think about. My trainer specifically put in my email that she is NOT a nutritionist. Don’t waste your money. I’m fully aware that this most likely will not get rectified as it should be since talking to a few other’s who have experienced the same thing.

Great gym with a reasonable membership fee. I go in the morning at 6am and its not crowded at all. I have never had an issue getting a piece if equipment.

Best gym in the county, hands down. Love these people. Equipment is always clean, rarely broken. When stuff does break (because it does), usually fixed within a day or two. 24 hours for this price? This gym beats all the other 24/7 gyms anytime ;)

My husband and I stopped by the day before the grand opening to check the place out. I heard about the grand opening through Facebook. Even though they werent technically open yet, we were given the full tour by the friendly front desk manager, Thomas. My husband and I joke that we collect gym memberships, but since moving to Florida a little over two years ago we havent been able to find a place close to us that gave us the convenience and overall experience this gym offers.There are spray bottles and microfiber towels all throughout the gym for ease of cleaning equipment. From the 24/7/365 access, turf/ conditioning area, variety of equipment other gyms dont have (ie. glute/ ham developer), pricing, and friendly greeting when we get there, we were sold and signed up that day. Theres plenty of parking, too.Fast forward to now, just ten days later, we get excited to go workout and feel like Amped Fitness Largo offers an environment that no gym in the area can even come close to.FYI: For those looking to join a new gym (and those especially that havent been a member of a gym before) there are a few friendly tips/ reminders when it comes to gym etiquette. Two often ignored tips to ease the experience for everyone are as follows:1. Try to minimize cell phone conversations when others are waiting for the equipment you are using. Let people work in with you while you rest if they ask.2. Pick up after yourself and put the weights you used away. Its just a courtesy for the other members who dont know if youre done if you dont.With that said, go check the place out! You will quickly find a great environment for personal growth, achievement, and fun ;)

I’ve been coming here for the last year and love this gym. There’s plenty of weights so even when it’s busy, I don’t feel rushed while working out. :) Nice staff, environment is awesome.

Nice gym. I go in during the early(I mean early) hours of the mornings that Im off that day. Almost all the equipment accessible at that time. I want to lose some weight. 🙂

Facility is nice, especially for the price. However, the locker room and showers are very disappointing. Management should have them cleaned and scrubbed at the very least. They are very small, two moldy showers with torn shower curtains, flemsy locker latches, smelly toilet area. It is almost enough reason to go somewhere else, but location and price win for the moment. I start with a trainer next week. Lets see if that makes or breaks my visits to this location.Update: 3 months later the bathroom and shower areas have not been addressed. Worse than a run down RV camper bath house. See pics. I tried doing a personal trainer again and all they want to do is stand over you and make you do odd exercises with no real plan and not really listening to the customer needs. Nice guy but only really wanted to keep selling me on buying more session packages. I can do more and spend less with a fitness app and a healthy book.So my experience has not been great at this location. Ill try going to another location and just accept the trainer package as a dumb mistake I wont repeat.

Went at 4am not a mask in sight...during a pandemic. They dont care about their clients. Before we stopped going because of the pandemic, they made their clients use wet gross to rags wipe down machines after use. The place is gross..we paid our memberships during the pandemic because we knew they were going through hard times. If they appreciated business they would step up their safety procedures.

I was not going to waste my time reviewing this place until I received a call from collections...horrible experience with this gym. I signed up with them last year. I walked in and was verbally told about their “no contract” basic membership fee of $9.99 plus tax and a VIP membership that includes guest access for a fee of $19.99 plus tax a month. I chose the VIP membership, signed their little docupad and got my membership key card and a tour of the facility. The next month they charged me an annual fee and a monthly fee as agreed. After 11 months, I had to temporarily relocate due to my job. I sent in their membership cancellation form and was told that I will be charged for a membership fee of another 30 days as it is stated in their contract. I was a little upset and felt taken advantage of, but got over it and agreed to pay. A few weeks went by, I looked at my credit card account and saw they charged me another fee of $42.00 after I already canceled my account. So I called the gym and asked what that was about. I was told that it was an annual fee, which I agreed to initially when I signed up and that it is owed by me. I disputed the charge with my credit card as I told the lady on the phone I would. The credit card dispute went in my favor because who would charge an annual fee to someone who just canceled their account. A month later I was visiting my parents and went to this gym with my brother who still at the time had their VIP membership with guest access. We went in and I was told I couldn’t use their facilities because I have an outstanding balance. The manager, I believe named Clay -which is what the girl at the counter called him- came over and was extremely rude and condescending. He began accusing my brother and I of “working the system and scamming the gym”. Clay then started getting into a pissing contest with me over what local gyms are charging/offering and how Amped is “the best deal and I won’t get anything better for that price” and “how all gyms work this way”. I asked how can you charge an annual fee to someone who canceled their contract? He then corrected himself and said “Buddy, it’s our maintenance fee”. At that point I walked out...Buddy? He used this word to begin every sentence during our conversation. I can’t believe a business would have someone as supercilious as him representing them. Please show me in the contract I signed where it states all that. I would have signed back up with Amped once I’m back in town, but after all this... this gym will never see my business or anyone else’s who values my opinion. Beware don’t listen to their “professionally trained staff” whom they “hold to a much higher standard” as they preach. This is how they get you. Read their contract before you sign anything. Don’t take their or my word for it- look at what other people have posted online. I will be filing a complaint with BBB and the collection agency as well. It’s not the fee of $42+, whatever, it’s the principle.

Best gym around... I tried a couple gyms but... this is my final stop!!! Very experianced in training!! I am paired up with Morgan and he is amazing.. getting in shape the right way with a dietary and exercise plan i have already lost 9 pds the right way and going strong!!! As long as you do your part the staff will do theirs!!! Go in you have everything to gain YOUR GOALS!!! 😉

The extra charges, such as the initial sign up fee and the annual fee are the fees you will find only in the blue print, not something any of the people will mention to you even if you ask them. Moreover, they make you give a 30 day cancellation notice and they charge you for that extra month after! Why do you charge people for cancelling an extra month and make them give you 30 day notice a for gym membership? How inconvenient and inconsiderate is that?! That is literally a rip off and their costumer service with some associates is extremely unprofessional!Furthermore, their space is overcrowded and rarely do you find an area you can work out in peace. I am truly disappointed and I will be telling this to anyone I know and write about it everywhere I can and I am not the only one that feels this way. I will be sharing this experience in social media and beyond!

Hands down the best gym Ive been to. The staff is always friendly and helpful, Clay has put together an amazing team and has really made a new expectation that I have in a public gym. The gyms always clean, open 24 hours and Ive never had a problem. Thanks clay, Morgan and everyone else who works and works out here for making my experience amazing.

Amazing staff, good gym equipment. Men’s shower could be cleaned up a little. Had a not too good experience with Clay (Manager). I assume he probably had a bad day or something. Other than that I would highly recommend this gym!

Paid for a week pass, it’s a $10 gym so you get for what you pay for. It’s open 24/7 and the staff are for the most part great only issue has to be the maintenance. If you get a week pass you can also only come through staffed hours which kinda sucks.Pros:•It’s open 24 hours•Staff are nice•Price is greatCons:•It’s packed at times• The cleanliness of the place was terrible•The equipment at times felt like it was fallen apart•The bathrooms are pretty gross too.•Sometimes it smells like body odor all over the gym.They would leave these cleaning bottles just scattered around with rags on them. Clay and Elliott have poor customer service! There isnt a problem with the gym itself but the personal training lacks serious professionalism!! When you pay for services and you dont get them that is a problem! They dont seem to miss a beat with charging me but somehow are NEVER available to talk or return phone calls or reach out to set up training!

Amped Fitness has a very clean facility with nice, helpful employees. It is open 24 hours, so it’s perfect for my work schedule!

Amped Fitness Largo is the BEST gym I’ve been to! The staff is absolutely fabulous, they are always so friendly and helpful. Their AX3 classes are also great and fun. Clay the general manager is great and does an excellent job and my trainer Berto is also AWESOME. Elliot is also a great member of the gym he always greets me and my friend when we come in and tells us bye when we leave. 10/10 would recommend this gym to anyone!

This is my current gym I go to full time and I love it. Great variety of equipment, never super busy and 24 hour access along with childcare. Nice cool A/C and in Florida during the humid summers thats huge because I came from a warehouse gym (no ac) when I competed in powerlifting. I couldnt ask for much more!

Ive been to some of the larger chain gyms over the last 5 years and while they where nice gyms they did not have the right gym workout vibe for me. This gym has it. Joined last week and very much liking this gym.

Great gym, super friendly staff and love having the 24 hr access. Only reason I give them 4 Stars is that the wash facilities are very basic. For a gym that only opened a year ago, should have put more money in the wash facilities, maybe some private changing rooms, self flush able toilets etc...plus the parking lot floods when it rains. Monthly fees aren’t outrageous and there is plenty of equipment for anyone to use, even on peak hours.

In my opinion, joining this gym was a great opportunity for me! Just the name alone, Amped, is exactly what it does for you, it gets you Amped!! Has great leadership who take pride in their business, professional; but also personal, hands-on. Trainers are very skilled. I would recommend this gym to friends and family to join! Good job guys!!

Great equipment, but Ill never understand how a gym can stink of cigarettes at all times. Makes it a horrible experience for working out.

Gym inside is fine. But buyer beware of their billing practices.Make sure you get a receipt when you quit the gym.They dont give you one even though I turned in my keycard. And then they bill you for extra months where youve never gone there. And they refer it to a collection agency too.They advertise no contract so Im just trying to help others understand what they might be up against. Good luck.

When first started all was great, new year starts people wear anything! Nothing like working out with people who take shoes off and smells like vomit! Then look yo my left guy in his underwear’s! What staff does nothing, ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Part of my agreement says that is not allowed but proper clothing, membership canceled! You get what you pay for.

Heard about this place from a friend so I decided to check it out. I’m a member at powerhouse in Tampa and have access to all LA fitness. Definitely my new go to spot! 24/7 access is awesome. The equipment is great. I trained legs today and will definitely be paying for it. Loving the belt squat machine which most gyms don’t have. The facility is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended!

Hands down my favorite gym ever. Each gym is designed perfectly; to the floor plan and the equipment they have in house. All the staff is extremely kind and helpful. Lastly, the gym is clean as clean can be, doesn’t smell, it’s always being cleaned and the best part is....they don’t blast the AC, so you will sweat like a MOFO. The fact that this gym is only $10/mo is the best deal you’ll ever get, for the value the team brings. This place is better than planet fitness, golds gym, LA Fitness and numerous other gyms I’ve been too. I with you guys the best of luck and hope you open up 100’s of gyms.

My son and I go here late nights to workout since this gym is opened 24/7 we love it! They make sure that the equipment is 6 feet apart, they have sanitizer spray everywhere, and they make sure before you walk thru the door that youre not sick or havent been around anybody that has been.

This Gym is by far the best I have ever seen yet 24/7 access, group classes, and Tanning beds. Best of all its very cheap. The staff is friendly and very curious and helpful. I leaned more today then I did all my years of lifting and about my own body because of clay, I highly recommend this gym, I’ve been working out for years and what I want in a coach is someone exactly like clay, doesn’t sugar coat a thing straight up guy, if you want to see results go to CLAY!!!

The GM here is such a great guy and the atmosphere of the gym is top notch. The personal training is really great option that I recommend. Along with the VIP, I can workout at any locations with my friends.

This gym is literally the best gym in the Clearwater area. If you actually love to lift, this is your gym. They have a TON of Hammer Strength equipment. Plus it’s 24/7 and they have tanning bed....lay down ones. It’s only $10 a month for a normal membership and then $20 for the upgraded with tanning. AND for everything they have here....you really are crazy not to join!!

A mix of old and new equipment..and the old equipment functions well, always clean, nice staff and members, plenty of space. It seems they have much weights and weight machines than the other gyms at this price.

The worst gym you can join, dirty, unprofessional staff and the cancellation process is like pulling teeth. They want 30 day notice so that they can get an extra month out of you, when I spoke with them about it they said it was In the agreement which was never made clear form the beginning. Save your money and don’t deal with them ESPORTA is the same price and 100% better and they will be open 24hr as well.

THIS gym is incredible. Staff are so nice, equipment is clean, excellent variety of equipment and so much equipment that you dont have to wait to workout. Its open 24 hours unlike all the gyms around. For only $10/month this is a steal of a deal. Check this place out.

This gym is a wonderful place to get whatever type of workout youre looking for. The facility has a ton of equipment and machines, 24/7 member access, group classes, personal training, tanning, childcare, and a wonderful staff who really go above and beyond with customer service. In addition to the quality of service provided by the amped team, each of their membership options is EXTREMELY affordable. I highly recommend Amped Fitness and absolutely LOVE their new location and all of the hard work they put into it.

I initially enrolled online Labor day, the owner allowed to workout there and we came back and the staff was more than friendly and very professional best gym atmosphere i have ever been in. Im so glad this place is here. It is an awesome facility. I can tell the owners/management really knew what they were doing when they set up Amped on East Bay; there are many different machines that I cant find at other gyms that are just perfect for isolating certain muscle groups. The staff seems to be very knowledgeable when it comes to acheiving your fitness goals, as well.

My family and I wanted to join a gym that is family friendly. We came to the gym and was amaze on how the gym was so clean and organize that we immediately signed up on the spot. I am a member to other gyms around the area but by far this is my favorite of them all. I’m looking forward to continuing my training at this gym.

I sure don’t appreciate being called a liar by the staff at the East bay location when I called with a concern about something that wasn’t clearly stated during signing up, I even said I was fine with what it was but that there needed to be better communication from the staff and I was instantly attacked and told I was wrong, that they would have never rushed through something. So since the staff attacks it’s members for voicing their concerns I’d say it’s time to cancel.

Very rude manager.Let me edit this .... the owner is a great gentleman who refunded our money. Not going to go into detail again on the situation but the gentleman who we had a situation with was not very professional . The St Pete location assistant manager was awesome that helped get our situation to the owner who reached out and apologized for the managers manners etc . Gym has good prices for what it is but seeing others have similar types of issues with what seems like the same employee. St Pete location gets 5 stars !

Hands down the best gym i have joined in 20 years!! Amped Fitness offers the best variety of equipment out of all the gyms in Pinellas County. The gym is always clean and the equipment is well maintained. ALL the staff are courteous and very friendly!!The boot camp classes taught trainer Demarre are unbelievable!! High intensity and super fun!Anyone who rates this gym less than 5 stars clearly has minimal gym experience.It’s basic gym etiquette to unload your own plates and Amped has rules in place to ensure that clients don’t have to clean up after lazy gym goers.Highly recommend Amped to anyone looking for a great gym environment!

The positive review stops here and reality sets in as to how this facility is managed.Manager Clay Payne gave me my fitness analysis and I was shocked at the end that when I wanted to pause prior to signing a 12 month contract @ $140 a month (the cheapest lowest level option by the way, most plans are far more expensive) for coaching etc he became combative, rude, and angry. I said I have bills to pay (Internet and Phone) and he told me to NOT pay these bills and to sign up instead?!?!? I was shocked and even stated due to my work I need both and again aggressively he demanded I not pay them and have the nerve to say if I didn’t sign up for this expensive year old contract ($250 fee to break it) that “you will fail” and how without him “you are nothing and know nothing”. He had the nerve to repeatedly state I don’t need Internet and Phone and I have messed up priorities. He said this knowing I am an Account Manager and it is critical for me to have both for my career. His level of anger and hostility were absolutely shocking. I cannot believe it... I am still left shaking my head. He actually said this repeatedly and plenty of other rude hostile aggressive comments were made, but by now you get the drift. Way to judge a book by its cover and be a bully. Insert eye roll here.I may be 42 and out of shape due to health issues and a devastating divorce, but buddy, I know more about actual modern medicine, biology and healthy fitness/nutrition than some juicer high pressure rude “manager” who becomes hostile when I won’t skip paying my bills and sign up for your nonsense. It is actually amusing that I was treated so badly and judged so harshly. I have never been treated in such a manner from a business where I am a paying customer.I will cancel my monthly subscription via certified mail and in-person and if I am billed anyhow I promise you I will take your shady business to court. You rattled the wrong cage buddy.

I absolutely love this gym! Amazing equipment, great staff and knowledgeable trainers. They truly go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
