Dr. Fansler got me in when I was in pain and IMMEDIATELY scheduled my surgery. He and his entire staff were wonderful to work with and more importantly the surgery was a total success. I dont care what any other review says, if you need surgery I highly suggest Dr. Fansler if you want a perfect result

My husband had a consult with Dr. Fansler. The doctor had reviewed my husbands case and offered possible solutions. His notes will help my husbands primary on the next steps.Dr. Fansler and his PA Stacy were professional, thorough, and caring. The whole office staff was helpful and caring. They helped us by calling medical transportation as well.Were happy with the consult with Dr. Fansler.The outside building is white and blue, and it could be hard to find, except for a huge mural on the parking lot side. The inside waiting room and offices were clean and nicely decorated.

In addition, every day he plus 2 other professionals from his office stopped in to check on me; the office Nurse Practitioner just wonderful! My husband had a hernia repaired by Dr. Fansler. The staff at his office was extremely rude and treated us terribly. After visiting the office and asking about the pain medicine and possible side effects, my husband was given no other option and dismissed like he was a drug addict looking for more pills. Since he had never been under general anesthesia or taken pain pills, we were simply looking for solutions that would help his recovery go more smoothly. Do yourself a favor and find a physician that cares about his patients and providing a high standard of care.

Dr Richard Fansler is an amazing surgeon. I can say this from first hand experience. He saved my moms life as well as my own to breast cancer. I have worked for him going on 14 years now and I can honestly say he is the best boss I have ever had. I see everyday that he truly cares for his patients and his employees. I am proud to be working for him and am blessed to have had him as my surgeon in my time of need.

Dr Fansler made me feel very comfortable with my upcoming surgery. Took time to answer all my questions and has good bedside manor. I had to keep on top of my case tp get on the schedule or I might not have been evaluated in time. Front staff should cover up her top area! (Dress more professionally)

No waiting! The doctor was well prepared for my visit by reviewing information sent by my gastroenterologist. Gall stones. The doctor answers all my questions and told me ultimately it is my decision for removal. I guess it always is, but he had an empowering way about him

Might be a surgeon but not a good person. I know first handafter working for him for 14 + years. Helped him build his firstsolo practice, he came to me 3 days before Christmas to let meknow my position was being eliminated. Not a good person after Ihelped him make millions$$$.

After finding out bad results from my mothers colonoscopy, her doctor recommended Dr. Richard Fansler for surgery. At the very first meeting he was extremely attentive and answered all our concerns. We prefer Baycare to Largo Med and he said hed gladly do her surgery at Morton Plant. I could tell that he was in unfamiliar territory upon arrival on surgery day but that didnt stop his demeanor. The surgery went flawlessly and he went (far) out of his way to visit my mother in the hospital everyday she was inpatient. Her scars are healing nicely and all of the nurses - all unfamiliar with him at Morton Plant - said he was extremely pleasant to work with and was very attentive. I am more than happy with with his work, knowledge and professionalism and will recommend him to anyone I know needing a general surgeon.

Sorry disappointed.. changed appt time twice for conference, that went well with Doctor. Appt for Scan of legs the Appt changed from one week till next... Ultra-sound or Scan done on Legs on Dec 1st.. NEVER A CALL WITH THE RESULTS.. NEVER. Finally in January my personal physician made appt with excellent Vein Specialist.. Scan completed, surgery scheduled.. W Bay Area..

On Feb.3,2017 I was admitted to Largo Med(via ambulance)with severe internal pain. The short version,if I ever need surgery again,Dr. Fansler would be the man I would want working on me.I am doing well and recovery went just as he said it would. Thank you for being there.
