I saw Bella and my daughter saw Sonny. I was so impressed with everything. Bella was adorable and did an amazing job on my toes & picked the perfect color. She also drew the cutest teeth on my big toes…I’m a dental assistant♥️ Sonny did a phenomenal job on my daughters nails. He was meticulous. Everyone was very courteous and super gentle. Thank you for a first class experience!

Went here for 4 years. I was a very loyal customer. My bill kept going up and up with NO itemized bills. Finally I questioned a bill. I called the ownerHe proceeded to call over the manicurist and pedicurist. The woman who did my pedicure lied and said I had a volcano pedicure . I always had the mint and spice. The bill with that lie did not add up. He was saying you had this and that. When I said that is not true, he never offered an explanation. Basically dismissed me. I have tipped my pedicuist at Christmas even though she didnt do my pedicure. It is when restrictions were being lifted during the pandemic and I didnt know she was back. I tipped both the woman who did it and the one who evidently thought I was an easy mark and lied. I will never go back. The owners are very cocky. The male walks around telling jokes in Vietnamese and the old story they all laugh while the customers have no idea what everyone is laughing about. That I dealt with. Not offering to make it right with an apology would have helped. You dont take advantage of any customer especially someone who has been loyal for 4 years. I understand the pandemic has hurt all businesses. However padding Bills is WRONG. I have spoken to several people since then that have said the exact same thing happened to them. Lying to make money is WRONG. Buyer beware.A shout out to Ha who is honest and very good at her job. I wont name the pedicurist. She knows who she is and I am so very disappointed. She gave a good pedicure but lying to a customer is unacceptable. Especially to a loyal one.My guess is they make more money for padding the bills.

Visited the website the night before. Saw that they were the least expensive basic pedicure in the area ($25), plus they were one of just a few who would be open on a Sunday.The website was sophisticated enough to book your appointment. I booked it for the next day Sunday, 10/3/21. When I arrived for my appointment I was pleasantly greeted and they confirmed my service.As I sat down, the technician informed me the pedicure was going to be $35. I informed her kindly, no, I dont want the deluxe, just the basic like is clearly posted on your website. At that point there was a disagreement that she could not solve so she went and got the manager or owner whoever he was.This gentleman obviously never attended Dale Carnegies How to win Friends and Influence People courses, nor does he understand basic customer service. He told me the pedicure was going to be $35. I reminded him of the website pricing, and he told me the website was wrong in a very confrontational and humiliating manner.I informed him that thats misleading in false advertising and I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau about my experience. I told him that I could understand if the price difference was $1-$5 difference from the advertised price is a sign of intentional false advertising, and that what they were doing was advertising and inexpensive price to get people in and then inflating the price knowing that since its close to what people would pay everywhere else they would just pay it even if they were frustrated.At that point he essentially told me to pound sand and he didnt need my business. Do what you have to do. Well based upon the way he treated me, and the fact that I think its deceptive to advertise a price much less expensive than what they were going to charge I walked out went somewhere else.Well they may be good at what they do, I would never know. What I do know they were successful at was getting me in the door with a cheaper price. At a minimum theyre unethical I wonder if they pay their fair share of taxes? I wonder if everyones licenses are up to date? Where theres smoke theres usually fire.So yes mister Im doing what I have to do. Conduct yourself accordingly.

This nail spa is awesome!! Came here with my hubby to get pedicures. Its so big and spacious. Its like a maze. And very professional. I love how they separate you from the others when getting your pedicure. Its like they give you privacy! I have found my new favorite nail place!!

Was not happy with my Pedicure , I told the lady that I really only come here for a massage . And I picked the more expensive one thinking I would get a nice one . Well she barely did anything . My fault for not saying anything about it .but then I went to get my nails done by a diff lady , I told her I wanted Dipped nails. And she asked if I wanted a manicure also . Now why would anyone just want dipped nails without the manicure. So I said yes and she said 10 dollars extra . Now I’m already paying 35 for dipped then add 10 for a manicure. That should all be included .I think the dip is really thick , didn’t really notice it has much until I got home . I also don’t get my nails done a lot , it’s a treat for me . So very sad how this experience went . They also just seemed liked they wanted to hurry up and get done . And it was not even close to closing time . So I would say no I do not recommend this place . We are paying them for our services .

I went to this salon on Sunday for a pedicure. I had never been there before, and unfortunately I am completely unsatisfied with the job that my tech did. The nail polish doesn’t look smooth, there are spots that look bubbly, and places were she got polish on my skin but didn’t try to get it off. I’ve honestly never been so dissatisfied with a pedicure before. I tried to point out a few things I noticed while still in the chair, and she haphazardly “fixed it” before asking me to pay. I will definitely not be returning here again.

Sonny and everyone is always so helpful and quick! My nails normally don’t hold up but I’m able to keep them for 5-6 weeks at a time because they really know what they are doing.

This is one out of about 3 salons that I like to go to ! A bit expensive (& I’m not cheap ) but they do well !! If I ever bring any one with me to a salon this is where I like to go !! Pedicures are amazing , I always get gel on my toes and it last a satisfying amount of time . Very long ! Love it! But when I just get gel nails they usually chip within the first week & I’m not the type to come back over one nail !!!!! They do really really good painting it tho . It just doesn’t last on me at this salon . It could also be the person applying it I’m not sure . But I love the shop it’s pretty , the staff is so pleasant and I’m usually content ! Thanks for providing your service to me !

When youre able to have such a large establishment in these days with happy employees you know something is right.

He did my nails sloppy and he wasnt gentle he kept hurting my cuticles. my nail popped off like 3 days after he did them. the shape isnt good and they also charge by the length. after he was done they looked like I had them for a week already. going to a nail tech who works from their houses are way better than this. would not come back.

I will not return to this location. I don’t understand how I come here to get my eyebrows done to MY liking. And the guy ARGUES with me about how I want them. And that skinny and arched on me will be ugly ! Are you kidding me ?

I was here 2 wks ago and they did an awesome job! Returned today with my daughter for manis & pedis, my fingernails & both hers turned out wonderfully however I kept insisting my toes were not the color I requested while the lady wasnt budging. Also she was very rough making 1 cuticle bleed. Well needless to say 237$ plus tip later I will have to have my toes redone. Just depends who you get and if they are customer 1st centered.

Impossible to relax here .They push you to get both mani/pedi at the same time. My manicure looks like a child did it. I told them I just want to relax and enjoy my pedi first and then Id get my finger nails done. Pedi was okay, the towel nearly burned me but otherwise my toes look cute. Tech pushed me to get gel, so I did. I didnt think it would be that much of an up-charge, but apparently it was... I have no idea what I got charged for because they didnt give me an itemized receipt. My problem is my finger nails. The French manicure is way too wide, the polish is thick in spots and thin in others. She barely let my nails sit under the light. Theyre not shaped properly...I could tell she was ready to move on to the next customer. Nearly $100 and I could have done them this poorly at home with my off hand for the cost of some polish. They dont look professionally done at all. I didnt bother to complain because I knew that wouldnt go anywhere. Paid my money and left, but I wont go back.

They seem to always be on a hurry to move on to the next client. I really didn’t enjoy being there today. They have a great selection of colors, so I got there 10 min earlier than my appointment time to pick up a color and I was rushed to pick a color and also while doing my mani and pedi, the technician was doing the bare minimum. Such a bad experience.

I rolled in a wheelchair to this business and was encountered by some lady who could use a couple of lessons in diplomacy and be educate in HIPPA . I had been to the salon and treated nicely . I have had services 4x before and never got turned down for service. I ALSO ran a business in largo for 34 yrs and never discriminated against anyone and received the no. one customer service award out of 17000.00 franchises . WHILE I LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING A PEDICURE AND MANICURE and feel like I was unfairly discriminated against big time! I was also a THERAPY DIRECTOR for 6 yrs. at a hospitAL while abled bodied in both work places. I LEFT THIS PLACE FEELING GROSSLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST!

I have been coming to V.O Nails for years! Everyone is so friendly. I have had Sonny, her husband, Lee and Jade all work on my hands and they all are fabulous! The pedicures are relaxing and worth every penny. Im pretty picky and tend to like more unique & trendy nails, they can do any design I pick and it always looks amazing. The expansion they’ve done with their building is also refreshing, there is tons of space throughout the salon. I can’t say enough positives about this place. Highly recommend!

I received a pedicure from a woman that never introduced herself. I chose an upgraded option, but not the highest priced one that she continually said that I should get. She began by rubbing the exfoliant over my shins very hard and fast. No massaging. The moisturizing massage was exactly the same. She used the pumice stone, but not on my entire foot. Painted my toes and got paint all over my skin. I asked for a cute tropical flower and her response was ‘tropical?? Tropical?? What’s that!?!?’ Worst 45$ I’ve spent in quite a minute. Never again.

My dip is so thin, flat and bumpy. I’ve gotten this done at multiple salons before and it’s never this thin. Also, the man who did my nails cut me with the nail drill on 8 of my fingers and obviously didn’t know what he was doing. Even though the people where nice, my nails where not done correctly. This is the last time I will be visiting this salon. Don’t waste your money!!!!!

I got a full set and go cut twice, when I got my feet done I still had dead skin on my feet and my friend got her feet done and didn’t finish her, no top coat. Her nails were not well sculpted. They charged me 90$ for a super quick pedi and cut fingers. They just dip your feet in water and that’s it and my friend said she wanted her nails rounded.... like 7 times.. they’re not. When my friend said she didn’t get top coat she insisted she did and then stopped speaking English

Had a nail break on my way in, told the girl instead of fixing it she just did the dip on top. Pedicure was 10 mins no cutting , no cuticle trim, no pumice on my feet and not even a min massage. Of coarse the nail broke again came back she did exactly the same and within a week 3 of my nails the dip cracked, none of the nails broke.poor quality dip.

I’m here on vacation from Ohio and this is by far the best place I have ever gotten a pedicure! The workers were extremely nice and welcoming and I would 100% recommend the volcano pedicure. It was the most relaxed I have ever been!! 10000000/10 would recommend:)

I’ve been coming to VO nails for over 4 years and have never had a problem until a pedicure gone wrong on 5/26/2019. The lady performing my pedicure said I had an “in grown toenail” after I looked down wincing in pain at what she was doing, it wouldn’t stop bleeding and then she decided to put some green chemical on it to stop bleeding. I went to urgent care 5/28/2019 because it was red, throbbing and had some pus drainage, I then completed a 10 day course of antibiotics thinking I was good to do. Fast forward to yesterday, 6/17/2019 when I couldn’t take the pain anymore. I ended up at a podiatrist where they had to remove a portion of my toenail as well as surrounding skin. See picture attached. This was supposed to be a relaxing pedicure before vacation, it has turned into an absolute nightmare. Buyer beware.

Today was my first visit after the quarantine. This salon took every precaution for a safe visit! They took my temperature when arriving and a mask was required. A disposable glove was provided to sign in. My nail tech Sonny was behind a plexiglass divider and she wore a mask. Thank you for making me feel safe and beautiful again! Nice job VO Nails!

VO is by far the best nail salon I’ve been to in Pinellas County, and honestly, my life. I’ve lived in several different states and finding your perfect salon is rough. A friend suggested VO and now I drive 30 minutes every other week to have strong, natural looking nails that I’ve never been able to attain. Tiffany, Nancy, Trent and the crew are efficient, sweet, and welcoming. I’m missing them big time during this pandemic but I’ll be back ASAP. Love, Danielle

They do it all: manicure, acrylics, pedicure, waxing, and more. The spa is extremely clean. They take pride in their business. I’ve been coming here for years. Plus Sunny is the best!! She runs a great shop and, from what I see, treats her employees well.

Im not sure what the ladys name was the took care of me. But she did a great job in my toes. The only thing I hate about going to nail salons is when its time to get my eyebrows done. I literally have to go back and forth with the person, about how I want my eyebrows. Skinny and arched. But, everyone seems to tell me how I want MY eyebrows. So, with that being said. I left happy with my toes, not so happy about my eyebrows. I feel like if Im paying for something. It should be something I want. Not, something that YOU think will look good. But.

Everyone there was very nice but the lady who did my nails convinced me that the dip nails would last longer than gel nails, so I went with the dip like she recommended. I had it done less than 1 week ago & 2 of my nails have already chipped & completely fallen off...I’m really disappointed. I’ve never had their gel but definitely don’t do dip here!

Their prices have gone up since their expansion, but they don’t like to tell you how or what you’re paying for. If you look at the menu board, and order from there, you still end up paying more. They like to put hidden fees in somehow and no itemized receipt. Not to mention nails crack and chip less than a week later. Better off going anywhere else.

This is the worst nail salon I’ve ever been too. Me, my grandma and my great grandma came here and it was so trashy. The lady doing my great grandmas toes THREW the nail clippings on the floor. The place itself is fine but the people don’t even know what they are doing. Don’t recommend and never coming again.

Ive been coming to this nail salon for several years, the experiences have been hit or miss. There were a couple of techs that I liked, but I dont see them anymore. My most recent visit was on Christmas Eve. I arrived pretty early in the day and it was not too busy. The tech had a poor attitude and was super unfriendly. I usually get a pedicure, the spa (basic) or sweet which is $5 more. It seems there may be some incentive for the nail tech when you order the more expensive pedicure because more often than not I get an attitude when I order the cheaper $20 pedi. The thing is, I cant tell the difference between the two. The pedicures have been sub-par. They barely last a week now since it seems they have stopped sealing the top of the nail. Most recently I got a pedicure and manicure. The tech rushed through both and globbed the paint on so heavily that it took hours to dry. The paint on my fingers continued to smudge 2 hrs after I left the salon. I had to take the polish off later that night and paint my fingers myself. Had it not been Christmas Eve I probably would have gone back. I also did not take the time to do this because given the general vibe of the place, I didnt think I would be received too well. Anyway, after years of patronizing this place out of convenience for its close proximity to my house, I will no longer give them my business.

Kim is very sweet and has taken her time repairing the nail bed damage Ive done from having acrylic for so long. They look amazing now and Ive completely switched over to gel because they are so strong now. Great prices. Close to home. Will be returning.

Horrible horrible experience not only do they try and rape you with their prices for charging every little thing even if it’s their fault they actually talk about you in their language and make it so obvious that it’s about you if you have any sort of problem with them they get an attitude and become very rough and continue to make fun and or talk about you I’m fluent in Vietnamese and knew every word they said and I called them out on it my gel polish lasted 4 days before it peeled off they did it too thick and not filed or smooth when I went back and showed them my nails they told me they were very busy and it would be 2 hours before I was seen meanwhile there were 5 girls just sitting there and when I said something they all ran into the back I stayed for almost an hour and finally left but not before I told the owner I was calling the health department on them

There always so many nail techs never have to wait long. Plus they do an awesome job

I just got home from going here with my daughter. She is five and this was her first mommy/daughter nail spa day. Luckily my daughter is not old enough to realize we got horrible service. The salon is beautiful, the customer service is horrible. There is NO relaxing, they are loud, and rush the process. My nails look like they were done a week ago. My poor daughter accidentally stepped on my toe as we were paying and the lady got mad at her. I paid $100 today, and feel like we really got ripped off. :( Additionally, my daughter is super upset because the lady was mean to her. I had to tell her at least 3 times since we left that its okay.

It’s an attractive venue. With that being said, that’s my only positive feeling byregarding VO Nails. With each experience that I’ve had at this salon the nail techs have been rude and aloof, even acting as if I’m interrupting their day by actually showing up for an appointment. I keep thinking that next time will be different, however it never is. I’ll be finding another salon.

Cindy did a shellac clear coat on top of my dip powder manicure a couple weeks ago, which you can’t do. The gel peels off. I wasn’t upset, I came back today after having my nails done two weeks ago. I asked if Cindy was working when I called before hand, because I wanted her again, and was told no (she was there). I came in and just asked for no shellac on top. They charged me extra today, more than they did last time, then tried to upsell me on every little thing. I finally politely told her to back off and I just wanted the manicure. When I told her Cindy did the gel on top last time, she told me Cindy would never do that. Basically called me a liar.

Ive been going to V O Nails for almost 6 years now. Its my favorite nail place, ever! Everyone here does a wonderful job! Friendly atmosphere, very clean shop, beautiful decor.I usually get gel tips in either pink and white or shellac. They do wonderful pedicures as well, and the guys love them, too!

Whoever says this place is the best in the area needs their head examined. This is NOT even close. I live close by and I’ve been to all of the nail salons and this is the bottom of the barrel. Yesterday, I decided to give this place a try. First, it is a madhouse. You CANNOT relax here, no way. 20 plus employees all talking loudly to one another in Vietnamese. Old spa chairs close together. This is NO SPA!!!I bought the most expensive manicure and pedicure with gel polish. The gel polish which is extra took the majority of the pedicure time (one hour). It was not a spa pedicure. The massage was a joke. The manicure was also quick and I was charged $25.00. I didn’t get any type of exfoliation etc. it was a basic manicure for sure. I paid $100.00 plus tip for manicure and pedicure with gel polish. For that kind of money it should have been exceptional. The manicure and pedicure were rushed, the place was a zoo, and I’m trying to figure out the up-sale here and how this place stays so busy. I’ll never be back. If you must go, get the sweet pedicure or basic. I saw a lot of people getting the quick in and out. Best spa pedicure is Sunshine Nails, best chairs and massage, quiet and relaxing.

Best in the area hands down for nails. Ive been to many other places. For pedicures they are not rough but they do it all!Price is moderate but worth the money. I recommend this salon to everyone who asks
