When my father passed away I looked at every facility in Clearwater. I can tell you Royal Palms is by far the nicest facility. My mom has been at Royal Palms for over 3 years. She loves the facility, food and staff!!! I love Royal Palm because I know my mom is taken care of and treated like family!! The staff stays consistent they know each of their residents and are always trying to find new ways to keep their residents entertained!! They keep the facility super clean and always have amazing decorations for all holidays!!

We have now lived here for 1 year. It is a beautiful community with lots and lots of activities for everyone, The staff are very friendly and pleasant. The apartments are a good size and well-cared for.The major complaint is the food. When we first came here they had a new chef who had a lot to learn but he tried hard until he started cutting back. In the last six months the food has gone from bad to worse and despite numerous complaints, nothing happens. We feel as though upper management just doesnt care.Post Script. In response to Robins comments, I have to say the competition our chef won can hardly be said to be a great thing. There were 3 chefs competing from adjacent complexes. One of them was disqualified which leaves 2, one of whom has horrible reviews.12/12/17 I am happy to say that things have now improved at Royal Palms. We lost our long-term chef and the food has turned the corner. Overall it is improving considerably. Less over-seasoning, less over-cooking. Tonight we had trout in almonds which was delicious. I hope the improvement continues
