I had a wonderful experience! I moved to Laredo for 2 years (I moved back to Arkansas a year ago though) and needed a place to get my hair cut. Although the stylist I was matched with didnt speak English, we were able to communicated enough to get my point across. It was a fun conversation. My hair cut was very short underneath, but the top portion of my hair covered it so I didnt mind too much (its just hair and grew out). I loved the friendliness of the staff, the decor of the salon was GORGEOUS, and I really enjoyed that I was given a massage with my shampoo! I think it would have gone a lot better if there wasnt a language barrier. I would highly recommend this salon because other than the length, they understood what I wanted! The photos I attached are from a couple of months after my visit when I went back to Arkansas and got it trimmed to show why trying to cross a language barrier with this hairstyle is difficult as you can see!! haha, but they did well!!

The service and quality of work at Primped is top notch! They are professional and use the best products for your hair. I see people complaining about the price being too high but the prices are great. Hair care is an investment. You get what you pay for!

This is such a nice salon! They are extremely clean, kind, and talented! I did have one issue about a year ago, however I called and they were so kind and got me in quickly to fix the situation. I HIGHLY recommend Primped!

Checked prices and reviews online before going but figured I would give them a shot.Walked in no appointment and the lady behind the desk was on the phone. As soon as she was off of an obvious business call she quickly and courteously addressed my girlfriend and myself.She informed us there was no openings for that day. I asked how much a haircut for her would be and she said $55( their website says $45)So that was an instant no thank you.While I stood there waiting I read their interesting guarantee more like disclaimer where they do not do refunds and you can only get a redo within 24 hours. Im not sure if there is a lot of people trying to scam free haircuts or if they just really dont stand behind their work.

Friendly staff! When I first went in I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn’t too sure. Klarissa A. helped me find something that I liked and I trusted her to work her magic. I was in complete awe of the outcome. She listens and definitely works with you. I will definitely go again!

I went for a cut and noticed once I got home that it was pretty uneven in places. I called the next morning and they were so quick to get me back in and make sure I was happy with the cut. Paco did an amazing job at fixing the mistakes and I am in love with the end result!Their customer service is incredible and the facility is beautiful!

I definitely recommend keratin treatment. I have very processed hair from bleach to box dye and my hair feels like virgin hair all over again. Definitely recommend!

This place is too pricey for the service that you receive. Being in the location that it is you should get better service for your dollar. You can get the same treatments somewhere else cheaper and possibly even better service from the staff.

Amanda is fantastic. She is hands down the best licensed barber in Laredo. From getting a fantastic cut to shaves to dying my hair a fantastic color, she has it covered. She never fails to impress and is superb at not only offering advice but teaching as well. Primped is absolutely not “just for women”. This is the best place to go. Trust me, book an appointment, show up, sit down, let them pour you a drink and let Amanda work her magic!

Erika did a wonderful job on my nails and the customer service was excellent! Melissa also did a great job with my pedicure and my eyebrows. Both girls were very professional and friendly. I definitely recommend them.

I would give no stars if I could. They gave me a really uneven haircut when all I asked for was a straight bob. They also overcharge for no reason, if your haircut is supposed to cost 45 they’ll add on to that amount, mine ended up at 55. I read a few reviews on Facebook and found out this is a trend, they tend to add charges onto the service just because. Never going again. It’s not worth it for the price.

Had a horrendous experience. I was the last client and my hair color job was rushed. Left with work half way done because my stylist was ready to leave. I had to go to another salon to have the work Mayra did corrected. After taking to the owner she then turned the situation around and said it was my fault for not communicating. Mayra seemed disinterested as she just wanted to finish. I sat on the chair for 15 mins as Mayra took her time to tend to me. Over price I will no be returning and will not be reccomend anyone.

Once I moved here I began looking for a stylist to keep up with my coloring and cutting. I did all kinds of research and Primped seemed to be the place to go. I decided to just go with a Master Stylist, thinking my hair would be in great hands. Boy was I wrong! I went a total of 3 times, hoping that she just needed to learn my hair and what works, but that was a waste of time and money. Spending hundreds of dollars and leaving with my hair ruined more and more each time! Yes, going back was my mistake, I do understand that. Now I am having to pay $400+ to get my hair fixed! It is devastating to think I was dooped by all the reviews and the title of Master Stylist! Never going back!

I WENT TO GO FROM DARK TO BLONDE THEY SAID THEY ONLY USE TONER AND IT WOULD TAKE 3 VISITS TO GET IT TO THE COLOR I WANTED. I SPENT $380, THE FIRST TIME AND THEY LEFT MY HAIR LIGHT BROWN. FOR MY NEXT SESSION I CALL AND THEY SAY THEY HAVE TO COLOR CORRECT AND REMOVE WHAT THEY DID AND NOW USE BLEACH AND ITLL BE OVER $500 MORE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TELLING ME IF IM TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FREE, I WANT WHAT I PAID FOR. DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE TIME AND MONEY TO THROW AT THEM.

The girl in the front desk seemed very rude. I don’t know if it was just me but she kept eyeing me down so bad and while I was getting my hair cut she would pass by and just give a very dirty look. Also, she offered a man who I believe was a customer she knew whiskey but she did not bother to offer me or my mom anything to drink.

Don’t bother if you’re not a Barbie type of girl.I had heard great reviews about this place and decided to get during one of my days off of work. I was wearing jeans, running shoes, and a T-shirt, no makeup, and had my hair pulled back in a pony. Why would I get all dressed up to run errands?The facility is very nice, I’ll give them that. But my goodness, the employees are snobbish.The girl at the front desk looked at me when I walked in, then proceeded to not greet me until she was done gossiping with another customer. When she finally greeted me a little later, I explained that I was looking to have my brows done. She said she’d check to see if the one who does them was available. She goes and talks to a stylist a little further in, I see them look at me, laugh, and they proceeded to talk for a good 5 minutes while I waited patiently. She knew I was there.A few minutes late the front desk girl comes back and tells me that the stylist had decided to take her lunch now. I asked when she’d be back, and she said probably around 5 (it was 2).The employees were jerks, and I strongly suspect it’s because I didn’t dress like I was a girly girl. If that’s how they treat potential customers, they don’t deserve to remain in business.

I love this place! I accidentally stumbled across this location and decided to take a risk! I’m more than pleased with the friendly environment and of course the wonderful job AManda did on my hair! It’s great to be able to wear my hair down again and show off my hair! 🤗🤗🤗💕🤗💕 I will never go anyplace else! Ladies and gentlemen this is the place to go for all your beauty and style needs!!! The building and the aesthetic are super sleek and stylish, plus everyone working there is helpful and nice. Ive had my hair cut and dyed there and I totally loved the look they gave me!

After reserving an appointment DAYS in advance, had to cancel it because they called me an HOUR before appointment to move the time. Very very unprofessional! Then why even make people book appointments when times are not respected.

Terrible customer service! No one greets you as you come in, the girls in the front just look at each other to see whos gonna help next customer as if its a drag and ignore you the entire time you are waiting. Made me never want to go back. Make sure you look and dress as if you have money so you can be treated with respect! Or else expect looks and expect the greeters to ignore you.
