They always treat me good here I never have a problem I only have good things to say about them if you need help call them first if they cant help you they usually tell you someone who can

The employees are all wonderful. They are extremely helpful and non judgmental. They go above and beyond to help you in every way imaginable with so many different programs and ways to benefit families in need and people who really need it. They have programs for every situation, including food, housing, bill payment, Christmas and so much more. If you are having issues and arent sure where to turn or who to go to Community action is a great place to start.

I havent been here in years but found myself in need of coming here again. They are true angels when in need. Thank you

PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE DETERMINING.I have been coming to Fairfield community action for almost 10 years. I go through them for a lot being a single mom. Food and programs and they have always been a great help. Almost 10 years later I will say I will NEVER go back there. I have been with them my whole life I go in to get food and they reject me saying I can no longer get food there due to my address. When like I said I’ve been getting food there and seeing the same faces for almost 10 YEARS! I have 2 children and I’m a single mother. This was so wrong of them, I could understand them saying let me help you find other places due to me moving and at least letting me get food that day but then helping me with another place in the future but no they literally take me back get all my info as usual then they turn me away. This was so wrong in so many levels, when these people are supposed to be helping people like us. I’m literally just astonished by this. So thanks a lot for turning me and my two children away for FOOD after 10 years. Also if Tonya is supposed to be the women in charge of all of this you would think she would actually care and want to help but clearly not, because the women that took me back was the one to ask her if it was ok and she literally turned me away when I was literally just there not even a MONTH ago. Clearly she needs another position or better yet not work in a giving place if she is going to turn single mothers away after 10 years FOR FOOD. This was wrong, and hopefully I guess I’ll just have to find food elsewhere on my own. Thanks a lot community action for not doing your jobs.

Terrible prices on copper. They posted $2.70 per pound on bare bright copper on this website, and when we got there they hurried up and threw everything on the scales. I asked them the price and they said I had to ask someone else. Kept getting the run around on who to talk to about it. By the time I got to find out the price, they already had it loaded into their bins. I had 200 pounds of #2 insulated. 200 pounds of #1 insulated and 150 pounds of bare bright copper and got a little over $400. I will never go here again, and suggest that nobody go here if thats the way they do people. Any other place would have given me a way better deal. I turned in less at Lancaster scrap across town and got more than that. I wont ever betray them again...

They care about u from the moment u reach out to them .and they do everything in there power to help u and then some . they always treat u with respect and compassion.never talk down to u,or make u feel ashamed for asking for help.truly areal blessing to our communityTHANK U with all my heart .for always finding a way to resolve my problems.

Reeks of bed bugs as soon as you open the door. Made me nauseated. I left.
