Coach Chad has already helped me become significantly stronger, after only one month of twice/weekly, hour long workouts. This is my first time working with a personal trainer. I am 64 years old. He is always one time and prepared. His quiet encouraging manner provides just the right amount of motivation. Its clear that he believes in my ability to progress. I recommend Coach Chad for anyone interested in improving their strength and self-image, at any age.

When looking for a trainer, I contacted three businesses close to me. Chad from Cause & Effect Fitness was the only trainer that called me back—and he did so within 24 hours. I was impressed with that level of professionalism before I even got into the gym. In our free consultation, Chad asked a lot of questions about my goals and followed up with three plans from me to choose from. I appreciated being able to choose a plan that worked for my schedule and my budget. Our workouts began at an appropriate pace for my level of fitness and have progressed since then. The supporting food plan, created from my feedback about preferences, has helped me stay focused on goals when outside of the gym. I’ve seen and felt positive results in my daily life as well as in the progress charts he keeps for clients. If you’re looking for an in-your-face Jillian Michaels-like trainer, Chad is not your guy. But if you want steady, sustainable change in a supportive and informative environment, call Chad at Cause & Effect Fitness!

Chad is a great, supportive coach and teacher. I went to Chad because I lost my confidence and was unhappy with my body. Throughout my life, I fluctuated in my weight. I tried meal replacement shakes, Special K diet, working out (but ate unhealthy), and fasting. I love working out but my issue was not eating right! Chad advised me about my eating habits by suggesting healthy, nutritious meal preps, what to order when going out to restaurants, and controlling my sweet tooth. Desserts were my weakness! I learned to be accountable for what I was eating. By the second month, I lost 8 pounds and 3 inches from my waist!!! Also, I gained upper body and core strength which Chad and I focused on improving. I went from doing 2 push ups to 13 push ups and planking from 56 seconds to 2 minutes! My goal wasn’t to diet for the short run, I wanted to gain a healthy lifestyle for the long run. My clothes fit A LOT better and gained back confidence! If I can do this with a full-time job (and a part- time job!), then you can too! Do this for yourself and be healthy, your body will appreciate it! Consider this as your New Year’s resolution but stick to it!

The workouts are never boring and always challenging. Although I have a long way to go, in the short time Ive been with Cause and Effects Fitness, I have more energy, I feel stronger, and I am much more comfortable in my own skin. The results speak for themselves... In my first 6 weeks I have dropped 13.8 pounds, 2.5% body fat, and lost almost 3 inches from my waist, all the while building muscle!I have tried many methods to get fit in the past without very much success. I knew what I had to do but never seemed able to commit. I had just about given up when I decided to give Coach Chad a call and hear what he had to say.I started working out with Coach James in early February. He has consistently provided support, pushed me, encouraged me, and celebrated a series of small wins (which eventually grew into more tangible results). I am at the point where I look forward to my personal coaching sessions.I have learned how to work out more efficiently and have been reminded how to eat better nutritionally. Most importantly, I feel accountable now, both to the program and to myself. That has made all the difference. Coaches Chad, Chelsea, and James are an amazing team. They will tailor the workout to fit your exact needs. Coach James is a great inspiration and motivator. He is extremely knowledgeable and will constantly make the necessary changes to be certain to give you the best workout. I was able to successfully eliminate my back pain and knee pain with the workouts at Cause and Effects Fitness. Very happy with my experience! Would absolutely recommend!

I would like to take a moment and compliment the facility that Chad and Chelsea have built! Its well-kept, clean and inviting to the person who has never walked into a gym before. They take their time completing a survey in order to ensure that your needs are completely in line with the goals you want to set for yourself! I reached out to Chad a little while back to see if he could help me build my core strength for competitive kayak racing. I explained to him what muscles I am using when I kayak and what my goals are for racing. Chad used what I told him to develop a program that focused on my core and Chelsea put together a solid nutrition plan for me to follow. Chad has a different set of exercises for me at every session which is great because there are exercises that I have never attempted on my own. He also demonstrated exercises that I can do at my own convenience in my home using only a suspension trainer. I have been training with Cause and Effect for a little over a month now and Im already noticing a huge difference in my performance on the water. I would recommend to anyone who is serious about building their strength or just trying to improve their overall health. These guys know what theyre doing!

I walked into Cause and Effects Fitness a year ago frustrated and terrified. Frustrated that my body did not reflect the image of the strong, confident person I knew I was and terrified that I would fail to ever become that person. Coaches Chad, Chelsea and James have been beside me every step of the way supporting, encouraging, and pushing me to change habits, improve my fitness, and live a healthier life. The team at Cause and Effects Fitness is fantastic! I was nervous for my initial consultation back in late August, not sure what to expect, but now I know I definitely made the right choice. Coach Chelsea has turned into more than a nutrition coach to me; shes a great friend. Shes been a huge help in assisting me to improve my nutrition habits and self esteem. Coach Chad molds my workouts to fit my needs AND my personality. He makes note of the exercises I like vs. dislike, and he even lets me play my music! I actually look forward to working out now, because its more of a jam session where I get to blow off steam while improving my body, and I have two awesome people who hold me accountable for my decisions.

I am an out of shape, senior, desk jockey with a goal to run a half marathon. I am grateful that Cause and Effects Fitness, LLC is conveniently located at Liberty Place and staffed by the kind and patient Chad and Chelsea.While fitness is my goal, losing inches and feeling stronger after only one month are great benefits. The facility is neat and welcoming. The training is positive and personalized, and there is no judgment or negativity.I never thought I would be able to say that I actually look forward to my personal training. I love Chad and Chelsea! They are both extremely caring people who put you first. A lot of personal trainers seem to be more concerned about their egos rather then their clients, but that is definitely not the case with Cause and Effects Fitness. Instead of just shoving you into a box, they sit down with you a customize a plan that works best for you. Would highly recommend them :D

Just over a year ago I was not confident, overweight and totally out of shape. Working with Chad and Chelsea has made me feel good about myself not only the outside but on the inside as well. I am stronger than I have ever been. I am down two sizes and I will keep going! The meal plans are very easy to follow and foods you can find in the grocery store.

Chad and Chelsae of Cause and Effects Fitness are tops! They are a great team in helping you reel in your fitness and diet concerns/goals. I put diet in quotes because youre making a lifestyle change, not dieting per se. There is a very positive emphasis on you and your goals and how you can reach them. They are both patient and really care about you and your personal journey. I also should point out that this is a very safe and private environment where you can feel comfortable challenging yourself and getting in top condition. Im so happy that I went to them, as a result Im feeling physically and mentally stronger and finally have a fitness routine in place again! Yay!

I started working with Chad and Chelsea two months ago. I had no experience with training and the only way I ever lost weight in the past was to starve myself and do tons of (boring) cardio. With their help I lost weight very quickly but more importantly, I gained strength and changed my body. In just two short months I was able to take 3.5 off of my waist. My pants size has dropped from 40 to 36 and Ive dropped from XXL size shirts to L.They designed a workout program that is never boring and always has me feeling like Ive accomplished something. And the diet program couldnt be easier. There are no weird foods, it is all just things from the grocery store. If there is something on the plan that I dont like I can simply click on it and get a long list of suitable replacements.So, if youre looking to get in shape I highly recommend calling Cause and Effects Fitness and in just a couple of months youll feel like you can conquer the world!
