I have never been to a gym before but Im glad this was my first. Everyone minded their own work out and I went as a guest. I now have signed up for $10 a month! Im comfortable going on my own now.

They give you this pre rehearsed song and dance to make you think that they really want you as a customer. Then they try to sell you the black card package and if thats not enough then they give you this you can sign up for ten bucks but in reality you have to pay a extra $8.55 oh yeah dont forget at the beginning of the year you have to pay a maintenance fee. This helps with the up keep of the outdated equal that tens to break down after so many hours of none stop use. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. No cash but we will gladly automatically take it out of your checking or savings account, just like 24 hour fitness.

Planet fitness is open. Im so glad. I use all the amenities. The hydro bed is really something special. Ive payed for massages..ide rather go hydro. Total body enhancement, and unlimited tanning. Plenty of room and plenty of equipment. I never get bored. Im in the best shape of my life and I keep getting better. Thank you planet fitness also I really appreciate the professionalism and courtesy I receive from staff. Money well spent indeed.

Nice gym equipment. Sucks there no motivation asked plenty times to put something motivating and they put on news on all the tvs. Besides that pretty simple.

Just joined & so far it was ok. Cleaning stations were stocked,so far employees have been chill & there were plenty of open equipment to get your sweat on.💪Plus for $25/month you really cant go wrong.

Plus if you want to cancel it it’s another $58 bringing your yearly membership to $395.85 which means you’re actually paying $32.99 Per month.This is a desperate attempt for a corporation to steal your money in their fine print when they should’ve been upfront when you signed up on the app Instead they telling you it’s only $22.99 a month and then having to find The extra fees in the fine print in the contract later. They also require you to come in person to cancel your membership or send them a letter in the mail, they refused to cancel your membership over the phone.I feel this company should’ve been more transparent in their contract but you really have to dig deep and read into the fine print to find these extra fees.Another thing I find disturbing is the clubs are not actually as clean and are very DRITY as I NEVER see ANY employees ever cleaning the facility just standing around chitchatting as multiple people use the gym’s facility, In fact they rely on the customer to clean the machines after each use with some kind of chemical that is not disclosed to the members. Therefore putting your health at risk due to the nondisclosures of the chemicals used.Now they’re requiring me to go through extra procedure in order to take my complaint/review to address my concerns when they can plainly read it from here, which I feel absolutely nothing will change should I do so. Because the employees will stand behind the corporate offices policies.So it would be a complete waste of my time to do so.

Front desk is very friendly. Cleaning staff they acknowledge you, but not in a rude way of course. One of the dispensers that i tried to get hand sanitizer was empty. All machines are functional but they to require to have space between the machine you are using and the other user. I wish the brought back 24/7 but i guess due covid they only do 24/5 they do close early on weekends. Showers seem clean the guys cleaning the male restrooms is on top of it. But hes cleaning supplies do smell like dirty wet mop water. So they may have to check on that. Maybe supply better equipment for the cleaning people. Lockers are always clean. Machines are always clean of course clean up the sweat after using the machines or equipment. It does smell like dirty mop water lol.

No water pressure, the water would only get barely warm, no complimentary soap (other economy gyms provide this), front counter was sold out of locks for lockers ... the staff is friendly, and the equipment looked alright. Honestly its a dud of a location if you travel and need a nice hot shower. But yeah, hated it.

Fist time in a gym in about 10 yrs. Gym associate named Elias was a big help. Really explained everything I need to know about where to start.

I was not expecting much when I decided to go check out PF (my old gym having shut down from Covid) because of the 10 dollar membership cost. What a mistake, I wish I had been coming here all along... Both my girl and myself signed up for the black membership (22.99 a month) right after the tour. Massage beds, tanning, red light therapy, bring a friend with any time, etc. If you have avoided checking this place for any reason, stop and check it out. Absolutely an A+ from me!

The cleanest and friendliest Planet Fitness I think Ive been out in a really long time. What is so great about this one is everything is nice and spread out tons of room and all the equipment works you dont see any equipment with an out-of-order sign which is great. I will be coming here a lot.

Ive been with PF for almost 2 years, during the shut down I went over to crunch since they were the only ones open and I genuinely HATED it there. That place is for gorgeous people who silently stare at you. Planet Fitness is where I needed to be and Im overjoyed theyre back open. Im truly comfortable here.

Was going to crunch but stopped because they do not enforce mask the workers dont care about your safety there, and the cleanliness is terrible! Started going to plant fitness in Lancaster and its the best 👌the employees there are exceptionally fantastic from the manager down a big applause to Eliana and Elias for enforcing the mask rule and keeping us safe they are walking around cleaning continuously and making sure were all safe 😀 thank you its great to enjoy a safe workout.. come to planet fitness forget Crunch.Thanks again Elias and Eliana 😁

First... they are super on top of keeping it clean and safe for all to use!The staff is great! They are friendly and very helpful. There are lots of machines...so there is very little waiting if any. Membership is month to month...so no being locked into long term contracts. I would HIGHLY recommend checking them out!

Me and my mom rejoined our membership today and continued to do a work out, then my mom tried to access the tanning machine but was a tad confused on how the new touch less process of using the app worked. She was guided through the process of getting the planet fitness app on her phone to access her barcode to check in by Pamela who was an absolute angel through the process of rejoining us as well but due to some internet problems at the facility the system was not picking her up as a member and not allowing her to gain access to the tanning bed my mother was getting frustrated but thanks to the great communication on Pamelas part they were able to figure out a solution. There were a lot of employees in training in the front today and no manager available so I was very grateful to Pamela for being so kind and understanding for my mother, I’m sure if she wouldn’t have been there it could have gone a lot worse. Pamela is a great value to the team at this location.

Let me start by saying I usually go to the Burbank location which is way bigger (at least double the size).After coming here I can definitely say its one step higher in quality. Lockers are of better quality, showers have shampoo racks (and no see through shower curtains), the layout is pretty good, dedicated cleaning crew and much better cleaning solution for the machines (also, more cleaning stations are available, especially in the Black Card Spa section).There are less machines (but still plenty) and theyre all spaced pretty close to each other but all were in working condition.I get the feeling this location is not as busy even though I came around 11pm on a Sunday.Staff is great and very friendly.Overall, a great PF location by my standards.Please dont pay attention to these ignorant reviewers leaving a 1 star review. Its a result of not knowing how to listen/read a contract or read signs. The 2 memberships they have are thoroughly explained on their website too.30 minute workout section doesnt mean you have 30 minutes to work on each machine, you have 30 minutes to do them all (1 minutes each with 1 minute rest in between and 30 seconds to switch).The staff is just doing its job asking people to move on, its not being rude. Youre being rude by sitting on the same machine for 10 minutes interrupting other peoples 30 minutes workout.

Clean environment. Lots of machines to workout on. Social distancing is in place. I see staff cleaning machines as well when they were open for business. Can’t wait for them to reopen.

PF is my second home. It’s very clean and I workout 🏋️‍♀️ a lot. I do wish that they were open on holidays, even if it’s just a skeleton crew. Nice people. I’m super excited that they went 24Hrs.Update: Boo! Back to partial 24Hrs status Please open up 24 hrs

This gym is way too heavily impacted. Cant get the equipment you need half the time because there are so many people. Many people who have no gym etiquette and hog machines for a long time. Their are only 4 smith machines and they are constantly in use so good luck getting in any squats and deadlifts. Im seriously considering paying more and going to a different gym.

Stopped by this location on Sunday, close to midnight. From outside, the gym looks smaller than the one we frequented in Burbank. Machines are new, clean and well maintained. They have fewer machines but not all were occupied, my guess is this gym is not as busy like the one in Burbank (yes, theyre pretty packed even close to midnight). Gym has high ceiling and that makes the space feel bigger.Bathroom layout is nice and clean as well, lockers looked fancy, they have trash can in each changing room which is great. Shower stalls have nooks for soaps/shampoos so you dont have to put them on the floor, big plus for me.These are just the minor differences that I see compared to my home gym, other than that, the staffs attitude were upbeat, friendly and courteous, parallel to the one in Burbank - nice and welcoming feeling.Reading the one star reviews from others on this gym is upsetting especially when the fault clearly lies on the consumer. It is your responsibility to fully read and understand before you commit to any contract. If any concept is new or foreign to you, ask the question and have staff explain until you get it. Dont fault the gym if you dont understand their policy.

Visiting my son here for a few days and I got a temporary membership. Want to give this place a shout out. Very clean, very friendly. I had belong to a planet fitness years back in Louisville while I was there for a year. It was so dirty and nasty. There was mold all over water fountain. This place is spotless and I always see staff cleaning. Definitely changed my perception of Planet Fitness. I wonder if they are privately owned.Anyway next time I’m in town I’ll be back. Ty

This is one of the most cleanness gyms not just planet fitness gyms! I have never seen a man or effort being put in to the up keep of a gym like at this planet fitness. All the weights were racked in order in the correct spot the plates were evenly spread out and not mixed up. Their spray bottles worked and were full with a smell of cleanliness. Every employee there was extremely helpful and polite and. I wish this was my home gym!

Marin is the best of the entire staff members!!He is always polite, professional and concerned with maintaining and exceeding the great standards of the club. He always asks how I, and seemingly all other members, am doing. Marin is one of the primary reasons Planet Fitness is a paragon of health and strength for Lancaster!

I signed up on Thursday. The staff i talked to were very friendly and help full. The shift manager was very friendly and understanding, when my debit card keep coming up declined because i have fraud protection on my account my account froze due to the fraud protection of online purchases. He let me pat in cash. Then on Friday i went for the first time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I walked on the treadmill for an hour. I walked 1.53miles and burned 179 calories. I had a wonderful experience there. PF is the first gym i felt comfortable and welcomed at. I will be going again. I already told a lot of people how great of an experience i had. Planet Fitness is the best gym Ive been too.

Love coming here! This is the first time I have ever belonged to a gym and its been a great experience. Staff is always very professional ( Yo! Michael ). Fellow gym members are easy going and I definitely have never felt judged nor been intimidated. The amenities are the best for me: hydro-massage, red light therapy, tanning - these are seriously amazing benefits for $22. a month. Never had to wait for anything I wanted to use, even during busy times.I cant believe some of the one star / negative reviews here. Everyone is responsible for reading the contract before signing and putting your financial numbers in....cmon people.Thanks PF for being wonderful you! Never Stop!

I was told upfront about all the charges and fees and whatnot. Some reviewers claim that they werent told. Not in my case. Im always greeted with a smile, and they always say bye as I leave. Good gym, no complaints other theres no scale and no bench presses. But for $10 you cant expect everything I suppose.

This is the first big gym Ive gone to; I mostly stick to small gyms because I like the friendlier attitude they seem to have. But this Planet Fitness has hit all the marks for me, while still somehow having the friendly small gym feel. Its always VERY clean (including the bathrooms) and the staff is very cool.

Cheap. Local. No lines for machines. You can always bring a guest for free!! Very clean dressing room and bathrooms. Very safe also no one is trying to rob you of your keys or phone should you leave them somewhere. Plenty of shows to occupy that cardio time. Wish the bar code scanner on the machines was more user friendly.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is positive. They have very affordable memberships. Its clean. There is something for everyone here. On the downside, it gets super crowded in the evenings.

Heavy. A non judgment place...you can see people like me (beginner and out of shape) to the ones that are fit and most of them are friendly...you know some of them walk around like hey look at me Im fit but just a few cause many started at the bottom and will help you to understand the machine. And the staff are friendly too. They get a strong 5 ☆!

The Gym is good, good machines but if you have questions about your membership, everyone is completely lost and just repeat to call corporate and they tell you to contact your local gym. Total run around for days now.

The gym itself is pretty nice and the price is great. I knocked it down two stars due to the hassle of cancelling the membership you have to do it in person or send a letter because they need it on file. I can cancel a credit card by phone or online but not my gym membership lol.

The staff is always super friendly and I feel as though they advertise correctly when they say you won’t be judged. It’s nice going somewhere where I won’t be mocked for my attempt at working out. Two thumbs up. 👍🏻 👍🏻

It was busy,most of their machines were occupied,I & my guest have no choice but to use their 30 minutes machines,we just started working out when one of the staff approached me rudely,w/ a loud voice,everybody in the room heard ,she explained to me that the room is only for circuit training,she was concerned of the other member who wanted to use the machine I was using but she forgot that Im also a member who just started using the machine,it wasnt even 10 minutes,just to kick me out from that machine she called another rude staff to explain to me that the room is only for circuit training,dah..what do they want me to do*to go to their lounge & wait until their machines are vacant?They have no considerations and those 2 staffs were so rude,dont know how to approach customers in a respectful manners!

Love coming to this gym! Has a great layout, its always clean and the staff are always friendly, no matter what time it is. Theres also enough equipment and space.

Wasted a years worth of $$$ on this place. When I went to cancel my membership, theyd already billed me $40 for the following year and Im no longer a member. I missed the deadline and now they REFUSE to credit me the $$$. sucks. I tried to cancel before the deadline but didnt realize it was it would be removed from my account before July 1. Just another business with another way to screw over the customer. Not surprised.

Clean. Friendly place

Travel for work (been to 100+ different PFs). This is as good as a PF gets: up to 75 lbs dumbbells (other PFs stop at 55 or 65), Leg press, 4 squat racks, decent size abs area, and the better treadmills (with number pad to type in speeds quickly). Also, Clean locker rooms.compared to other gyms (its still PF), but for a PF its as good as they get.

I enjoy planet fitness, the price is just right you cant beat it. Very nice staff and trainer. Your not judged on how you look. Just going will help you feel better in the long run. I highly recommened this place.

Hello everyone, planet fitness is a good gym if you are on a low budget, but you only get what you pay for. You pay cheap, you will get a cheap customer service. They trick you with their words and it’s not as good as you might think. So consider another gym.

When we asked about membership fees, the staff immediately went into a sales pitch pushing a Black Card membership. We want a basic membership which we were told is ten dollars (10.00) per month paid through our HMO. Why the hard push to sell something we do not want? When we asked for contact names and numbers of executives, no one would provide that information. Seems strange.
