Dr. Lisa Werner is an expert Doctor! She listens to your opinions and did everything she could to morally and ethically help my brother after his suicide attempt. Originally I gave a two star review on cleanliness, however, you can receive education at her office. When a rat is taken out of its cage it becomes disoriented, and it will eat its offspring. I changed offices three times and became disoriented myself. They have very clean offices, and wonderful Case Management. My Case Manager is Allison. Wonderful facilities, Doctors and Case Management. Great services to help you get your life on track!

During this covid issue New Horizons has failed miserably. This time is very hard for people seeking mental health help. They have no called no showed 3 appointments, moved me through 5 different councilors, and now 3 different psychiatrists. They are only scheduling appointments 3 months out. Do yourself a favor an look into somewhere else. The only other place you should skip is paint valley, they are the literal worst.

Dr. Werner is a great doctor. She can be a bit apprehensive at first as she gets to know you, but shes very understanding and seems to care very much about helping her patients feel better. Shes open to try new things, and if you do your research shes more than willing to listen to your ideas about your treatment options. Im leaving 4 stars instead of 5 due to a bad experience with Dr. Heintzelman. Other than that, it seems like a nice facility with a good staff. They also have lots of resources available, if you ask. My case manager Samantha is also very good at her job and easy to get along with.

My son has been a patient of Dr Black for almost 15 years and he is fantastic!We drive over 40 minutes just so my son can be seen by him.He is very caring and personal!!! I would highly recommend

This office is terrible. They are not HIIPA compliant, as I was sitting in the waiting room I could hear employees in the next room with the door open speaking of a patients personal matters, and also speaking very rudely of him. Do not care about the patient at all. Staff is SO rude. Taken way better care of by my family physician. Will never go back to this place. Do not go here.

Great people. Very little wait time for appointments

If I could give this zero stars I would. Rude staff. Constant cancellations. Didnt even call me back for months when I tried to reschedule. Dr. H is bizarre and comes off as pervy. Has pin up girls in his office. Dr. Werner has issues with the LGBT community, and also insulted me as a mother for being in poverty. CONSTANTLY claimed I was lying about really insane things, like the fact my furnace is in my closet because her husband worked construction and that doesnt sound right. Ended up leaving her office yesterday crying after her 10 minute rant about how I was a bad mother because I cant get my landlord to fix my heat and am heating with space heaters to keep my child warm until I can figure out what to do.Do NOT go here. They do NOT know how to handle the mentally ill. They will ALWAYS assume you are trying to lie to them or scam them instead of trying to better yourself or your life. This place is a joke, and Ive never been so disgusted with mental health professionals in my life. Unless you want your mental health issues to get worse, stay far away from New Horizons.

Front office was very rude and impatient when on the phone about questions I had about a staff member. I would never recommend this place because of they’re rudeness. Very unprofessional

Disorganized. Wasnt suicidal until I got to new horizon now its all I think about. Was told to flush unused medications down the toilet. Im sorry but I dont want mind altering medications in my drinking supply. Last visit made sure to ask what my balance was they said zero two months later now I get a bill. Disorganized.

I have been with doctor Richard Black for 15 yr the staff are always really nice and very respectable of my privacy doctor black treats me like family when im there dont know what im going to do when he retires

I have been Dr. H patient for a number of years. My depression and,anxiety is very extreme hes very very intimidating. I can barely function. He is really impatient. He actually told me im my worst enemy. I dont choose to have this. He doesnt really want to listen and it makes me feel worse. I need help, I dont need lectures!!! Im looking for another Dr.

Absolutely horrible place. They did nothing for my daughter. She suffers from anxiety. The female counselor canceled on us multiple times and then billed us for cancellations/no shows. Worthless group of people if you ask me. Seek another place if you want to get somewhere.

My Son saw Dr. Heinzelman last year, but indicated that the Dr.did not like him, put him on MedicationS,and was I believe only seen once a month. My son was very depressed, and it was not something the Dr. Was unaware of as he had made recent trips to several rehab facilities while in his care. There were Crys for help but obviously medications were the solution?? My Son Shawn is no longer with us. Psychiatric drugs given by people licensed to prescribe them without caution are NO Different than Heroin on the street. Mental health professionals need to use their God given talent to talk, before they give lethal drugs to patients they know nothing about. RIP Shawn. I love you MOM 💞

Horrible horrible place dont ever go there for help,you wont get it, my sister in law threatened to kill people and they wont do a thing to help, and when you so there is nothing they can do

I took my son there for his ADHD. They were no help and the counselor that they had us talk to was so rude to me! I will never go back.

They are understaffed and seem confused. They can be rude and hurried am the phone. They cancelled and rescheduled 4 of my appointments within 3 months. I drive from Columbus to Lancaster and after I settle my meds, Ill find another psychiatrist.

I will never go back.
