I had laser vision correction/PRK performed by Dr Nusz on both eyes. I have been so happy with my vision over the past few years. Its wonderful not having to worry about wearing contact lens or glasses. Dr Nusz was great and explained everything about what to expect before the surgery. I felt very comfortable with him. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to have laser vision correction.

Choosing to have vision correction by Dr. Nusz was the best decision I could have made! I joke with my fiancee that I can see better now than I did even with my contacts in before, not to mention I couldnt even see the big E without my glasses or contacts before having the surgery. Now, I can see better than 20/20 which is like seeing the world for the first time again. I was so scared to have the surgery because my brain thinks what if I am that 0.01% that has a complication. However, because of the amazing job Dr.Nusz did, and the reassurance of the technician that worked with me, I would take the risk of having the surgery a million times over and I would advise anyone who wears contacts or glasses to consider getting the surgery at The Eye and Laser Center.

I have going to Dr. Nusz at the Eye and Laser Center for over 5 years now and I have been extremely happy with Dr. Nusz and the office staff. Not only has he given me routine exams but he has also performed cataract surgery on my eyes. The surgery was painless and quick. I was extremely happy with how my eyes turned out. He has always explains each procedure thoroughly and has gone to great pains to answer any questions I have had. Everyone at the office – from the techs who perform some of the pre examinations to the office staff at the front desk, have been very professional and courteous.

Dr Nusz was extremely professional, timely, and great with my young sons who were a little nervous about their appointments. His office staff and technicians were all attentive and friendly. We will continue to travel from Indian Land to his Lancaster office as I trust him completely with my family’s vision care.

I had surgery with Dr. Nusz and he did great. I was very happy with the results and he and his staff were professional and friendly. I will return for my eye care needs.

My optometrist made an appointment for cataract surgery for me. I was reminded 2 times over the phone of my pending appointment. When I arrived at the office. I waited for some time before I was called in to be examined. While waiting for my appointment I was told how truly horrible the operation was and one woman had lost her eyesight in that eye after the surgery. When I mentioned it to the office staff, I was told that is very common, there is swelling, scarring, etc. I informed the woman who I talked with that I usually wore contacts and she told me that I could not be examined unless I had the contacts off for at least 2 weeds. She told me she was sorry and had me talk to someone else who asked me if I had read the information booklet that was sent to me. I assured her that I had not received any booklet and she told me she was sorry. I told her that in the calls I received no one told me to use eye drops or not wear contacts. She set up future appointments for me. Since that time I have tried to cancel the appointments but I was told (I am sorry but) I have to talk to the surgeon. The appointment cannot be cancelled. I would have to talk to the surgeon who is not available. I told her are you trying to tell me that the office cannot handle their interoffice duties. At that point she got loud and started yelling at me about what I didnt understand and I hung up.

If you need an ophthalmologist this is the place to go. The entire staff is awesome and Dr Palmer is very professional!
