My 92 year old mother was a patient of Dr Blue for a bone break (humerus) in her arm. On her 5th and final visit, Dr Blue started asking questions about medications and smoking as if she were a new patient. Then Dr. Blue said her arm was not healing so he was referring her to a “trauma” doctor in Columbia or Charlotte. I asked him what “trauma” meant. “Trauma” doctor means another orthopedist! Good grief! He obviously doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s allowed my mother to live in pain for weeks, unable to use her arm or hand and then tells us this as if it’s common practice. I’d rate him a minus star if I could. Hopping mad in Kershaw.

Waited one hour, no one apologized for the wait. Dr. Blue seemed very distracted and dashed out of the room without informing me as to what he saw on my xray. Very disappointing experience.

The best bedside manner Ive ever received. Dr. Blue is kind, knowledgeable, patient and prepares his patients so theyre comfortable before he performs any procedure. Highly recommend

Front desk staff was absolutely awesome, however we get back to the room and the sweet nurse that called us back informed us that they were going to have to get another X-ray. The lady that took my son said nothing when she came to the door to get him, he had to ask her if she was taking him for the xray. When he came back to the room he waited for someone to come because he wanted to know of he could put his shirt back on, the X-ray lady walked past and he asked her if he could put his shirt on and rudely said no as she proceeded to slam the door on his face as shes answering him. He then told me she was rude when she took him for X-rays. When Dr. Blue came in I informed him about what happened and he immediately became defensive and ride himself and told me in could go somewhere else if I didnt like how we were being treated! After which he proceeds to speak directly and only to my 14 year old child. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone!!

Was referred to Dr. Blue after my childs injury by MUSC Emergency room. Called the office and was told he would have to look at the X-ray before an appointment could be made. The office calls back and tells me he does not want to deal with my childs case....GOODBYE!!! The staff was extremely rude and even hung up on me. I called OrthoCarolina and they are AMAZING!!!!!!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone just one dr all he was worried about was getting payment from workers com done operator on my shoulder i tolded him at every visit my shoulder is not right i hurt now just as much as before the operation hurt everyday cant sleep on the shoulder i dont know what to do
