I was very pleased with the appointment with Dr. Keener. He explained about my fingers and how the shots usually dont work after the second shot. He asked if I would like surgery and I said, Yes. One or two fingers and I said, Two. Very likeable man and a very good session .Thank You, Nancy Mc

My appointment at Lancaster Orthopedic went very well yesterday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took the time to understand my issue. Dr. Keener was very friendly and we had a good discussion on my symptoms. He put a plan in place to diagnose my problems and a solution to fix them.Highly recommend.

Dr. Keener was gracious enough to take me on as a patient after the other surgeon there left. While it took a while to get in to see him, I found him very straight forward and informative. I appreciated his frankness and professionalism. Had my surgery yesterday and hopefully the results will be in my favor. I had a great experience at the surgery center and he described what he was doing while he as working on my carpal tunnel.

Dr. Keener was professional, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Kudos to him. I felt the preceding wait in the waiting room was excessive. I arrived 15 minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment as instructed. Took my seat 5 minutes prior to my appointment. 55 minutes later I was shown the the exam room. The assistant was also friendly and professional. The wait gets under my skin b/c it says, “my time is more valuable than your time!” Every appointment I have had, either late morning or late afternoon have always been long waits in the waiting room. Computer scheduling can fix this problem.

Was attentive to my problem and offered several solution to remedy the pain. Taking the least evasive action to do this initially was appreciated. If not successful the next step can be considered. Surgery was the last recourse.

A waste of time. Dr. Keener offered no solutions and seemed to think he had more insight into my medical history after one visit than two other specialists in their respective fields. Really crossed a line as far as I’m concerned. The type of personality I’ve learned to avoid.

I was very unimpressed with Dr Keener. He offered multiple treatment suggestions, but followed up each one with “but that probably wouldn’t help” and then basically asked me how I’d like to proceed...! I’m not a dr. I don’t know how to treat this issue. That’s why I was there. I’ve talked to another patient since that had a very similar experience. I had a great experience at my first visit with good his PA and had high hopes for a solution to my issue. Very disappointed. I would definitely not recommend.

Dr. Keener did not even look at my damaged finger. He looked at x-rays,He said no fracture, come back in 3 weeks.I said, could you at least look at my finger and see about the infection I,m worried about. He would not.I will not be returning. I am still in a great deal of pain.Anne Dana

I was expecting at least some diagnostic tools. He asked some questions, but I felt he was vague with answers. He did not even look at my hands, went off prior notes from Dr Peart.Prescribed some meds and no follow up.Will go somewhere else.
