Amazing people! Made my 2 daughters and i feel so welcome and comfortable. Very good with children, my 7 year old had gotten a filling and the gentlemen that did it were so good with her and she loved them. My 14 year old had a root canal and the gentlemen and woman that were with her were caring. Very informative people not pushy or made us feel like they were just there to get paid. When you can go to a doctor office or dentist office and talk and laugh and feel like you are not a bother to ask any and every question you have on your mind it is a very warm feeling. They care and they take their time to get things right. Not either of my 2 daughters or i felt like we were in any way a pushover like some other offices. I would highly recommend this office for any child or adult. Absolutely love this place and i would not go anywhere else!!!

Broke a tooth and called in for an emergency appointment; happily I got one the same day. Dr. Horan was personable and professional. Tiffany, his assistant was kind, courteous, and efficient. They explained the what and why of the procedure and I was out of there in an hour. Love the greenery in the rooms!!

My concerns regarding covid were alleviated by the many precautions they take. More importantly, the thoroughness of my hygienist was as usual outstanding. I wish to have Chris perform my dental treatment on my next visit.

Terrible service. The office is super crowded its, no personal treatment. The prices arent bad but thats because the work is average. You also have to deal with some rude receptionists when it comes to scheduling.

I went to ODonnell and Phillips on the recommendation of a friend as I was unhappy with my current dentist. I was not disappointed. Very friendly and professional. Probably the least painful extraction Ive ever had. Dr. Horan was very attentive to my comfort. I will be switching to this practice for all my dental needs and will recommend them to everyone.

The upfront staff was pleasant and accommodating, the dental hygienist , Heather, was professional, proficient, and very relatable. Dr. Phillips is a kind and gentle type, which is extremely valuable since going to the dentist is not usually a pleasant experience. Never thought Id rate a dentist with a 5 star, but they have my vote. I went home happy and healthy.

Each time I have visited the staff has been wonderful. The dentists and hygienists have been very gentle and understanding of my anxiety with dental work. I also appreciate that the staff was understanding and non-judgmental about the fact that I had delayed dental care for several years because of anxiety due to my previous dentist causing a lot of pain. During procedures they repeatedly checked in with me to make sure I wasn’t in pain or if I needed to take a break. My toddler son also goes to O’Donnell & Phillips and they have made his visits a pleasant experience. The hygienist took the time to explain everything she was going to do in an age appropriate way before proceeding, which made him less apprehensive about the new experience.

I have been a long time patient here. The dental hygienists are very nice and do a great job and all of the dentists in the practice are top notch.

I am always satisfied with my visit. The staff is very friendly. I feel they are very conscientious of their work they do. So far we have been able to make appointments from South Carolina. Kind of fear starting a new Dentist. We make our trips count.

Been going to this dentist for years and never had an issue. The Dr.’s are awesome. My hygienist had cold bedside manners, would force my mouth open instead of communicating, and I’ve had a terrible ear ache ever since.Overall it’s normally a great experience, but this bad time coupled with a review solicitation forced me to give them a 3.

I had an appointment a few weeks ago here and let me tell you it was a nightmare. I first came in and they had my appointment time wrong so I had to wait about 45 mins and then when I got back there, the work they did on my cavity still ended up hurting after they filled it. I will never go back here.

I had to reschedule my sons appointment after being contact traced at school. Not only did I have to reschedule his appointment but they said I had to reschedule my other 2 sons even though they are not quarantining. Okay so they are being extra cautious maybe, BUT they do not have any available appointments until November, over 7 months away. The front office certainly do not behave like dental health is a priority. It is too bad because the dentists are great.

Broke a tooth and had Dell work on it. In the 30 years I’ve been going to Dr Phillip I never had a male dental assistant; he was very knowledgeable. Dell did a excellent job!

Handled my case in a professional manner and listened to all of my questions and concerns.

The hygienist I had went out of her way to help me with a problem I have been having. She first calmed me down and helped me figure out a plan. She really went out of her way to make sure i was ok. Dr. Phillips also was kind and gave me good advice.

This was an amazing experience. I had not had any dental work done for quite some time. I had an old filling that cracked and needed to be replaced. I never felt the injection at all. Doctor and nurse were very friendly. Done in 20 minutes. Great experience for me.

From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly and masked properly. I felt as safe as one could in a dentist office. Nilsa (sp?) and Angie were both efficient, and Dr Sarah Lamachane was very nice. She explained things well. Scheduled for a return visit for cleaning. Would recommend.

It was great. I was Dr Horans patient in Reading and when he began practicing in Lancaster I followed him there. I am 62 and he is my favorite dentist of all time. My dental hygienist was also very good and had excellent people skills. Thanks Dr Horan and Chris. vav

While I enjoyed the dentists and hygienists, there was a woman working the front who told me I owe’d $300 (when I had been told prior I did not owe any money). I was unsure of what to do but trusted she ran my insurance and was giving me the proper total. Come to find out I did not owe $300. When we called to talk about the charge, the same woman told my mom “Well your daughter had no trouble handing over her credit card.” This was really hurtful, as I did trust this place to have patient and respectful employees. I believe they refunded us partially. I am now looking for a new practice. Looking at other low reviews suggests the front staff need to be re-examined / have attitude training. COVID-19 is so harsh on employees, but please don’t be disrespectful to me when I’m trying to navigate a tough situation.

I was able to get an appointment immediately for a problem following a procedure.The office space is a little tight but the equipment is all up to date.The staff is caring and polite. The office is clean.The new doctor on staff is top notch. The treatment I needed was delivered without pain.

I had a troubling minor emergency, and the office staff said to come right down. Dr. Phillips saw me right away and diagnosed the problem immediately. He had his hygienist create an appliance for me to wear while sleeping to alleviate the painful jaw problem. That was yesterday, and today I feel much better. Now THATS a dentist!

I had submitted a review at least a month ago. I had explained that I needed two teeth to be capped. At the time, I was quoted a price for the procedure. When I went to pay the final payment; the price quoted to me was at least $400.00 more. I was surprised since it was alot more than expected. I just want to say everything was made right. The dentist, Dr. Horan, he had read my review,thanked me; told me that I would be reimbursed the money. I am thankful. I felt that Dr. Horan was so professional and gracious in every way. When Dr ODonnell told me he was retiring last year, I was heart broken. He was my dentist for over 20 years and literally saved my teeth. I was very nervous about seeing a new dentist after all these years. Well for all you Dr O fans, he did right by us with his replacement!I had a crown done by Dr Horan yesterday and he is absolutely prenominal. He is just as sweet and kind as Dr O was and best thing, YOUNG and planning a long career with ODonnell Phillips!My visit was pain free and as usual the staff awesome and friendly even in these weird times of Covid. I am much relieved that with all the changes we are having forced on us at this time; I can count on Dr Horan and the staff of ODonnell Phillips.

I have had a terrible experience with another dentist which made me terrified of dentists. But my teeth were getting worse so I went to see Dr. Phillips, he is amazing, very gentle and did excellent work on my teeth, I can smile again!! They have a hygienist, Dell who is also fabulous, he made me feel very comfortable , so polite and sensitive and great sense of humor! They are very professional and did not judge me which was very important to me. I would recommend them to everyone, especially to those who are terrified of dentists!

In this time of Covid I had an emergency that needed immediate attention. Then never blinked an eye and scheduled me in without question. They had no nurses. It was only the two doctors working feverishly to attend to their patients in need. They went above and beyond to help in a time of need.They are also fabulous with the HOH and Deaf communities as they assign the same nurse to the patient so that they have a familiar face to see and communicate with each time they come in.They have also openly and willingly discussed improving communication by getting clear masks so people with hearing issues can still read their lips. I stay because of this kind of attention to detail and level of caring.

I had received dental work here a number of years ago. They had performed a root canal which went very well. Hence the second star, however the first crown that they installed fell out almost immediately after it was installed. It was then re-installed. There were some modifications made to it and it had no longer fit properly. Instead of fixing the initial botched crown, it was proposed that I pay for another one. I had not personally damaged the crown, it was a miscalculation on the dentists behalf. Why should have to pay for another? The reason why I am writing this after the fact is that most of the work, including the crown has not held up. Now I have to pay for another crown to be made only a short time after the original was never done properly. I might also add that I paid quite a bit for all of this.

I am beyond TERRIFIED of the dentist, so my primary dentist recommended that I go to these guys since they can sedate me for my filling repairs. I call to set up an appointment and the receptionist didnt listen to me. She asked the same question 4x and I responded with the same answer all 4x. The question was Do I usually need to be put under general anesthesia for my dental work? My answer was yes. Then she tells me that the dentists only do general anesthesia every other Friday (2x/mo) and not even in the dentist office but rather at the local hospital. I dont know anyone who would want an EXTRA $150+ bill from the hospital ER on top of the initial dental bill. To top it off, (IF I was to go through with it) Id have to wait until the beginning of FEBRUARY 2020 to get work done. So I guess Ill just deal with the pain.

The dentist is fabulous however their front office staff is less than professional. Will discuss your account in front of other patients. They are not friendly and very rude. This office has lost business because of front office staff!

I had many dentists and orthodontists in the past destroy my teeth. Dr ODonnell has almost completed fixing all that was manipulated and ruined by others.Dr ODonnell is not only a dentist but a friend and his staff is wonderful and very professional.Because of this dental practice I am going to be able to eat pain free for the first time in over 40 years since age 11.Thank you ODonnell & Phillips! My teeth feel safe in your hands!

Preflouride and have had a lot of work done in my life. Dentistry mainly involves manual skills in my opinion. I usually see Phillips but have dealt with both. Im impressed by their abilities. I remember Phillips doing a successful post in an old tooth. It was touch and go and I could tell he was really trying to save the tooth. Which he did.

Dr. Horan was skillful in his work and patient with my anxieties.

I am not a fan especially of Mercury. They told me they used a composite resin not mercury, but when I was done he said he put some silver in to make a filling last longer. I never wanted a mercury filling and I dont even think I needed a filling in the first place. A cap they did broke at twice. I know some of the work they did was unnecessary like the panoramic x-ray and like many dentist use high pressure sales and will want to fix teeth you didnt know had cavities.

I have been having my teeth cleaned and checked for 9 years here, and I appreciate their sensitivity to my needs and their excellent care.
