I Asked My Son How Was His Visit ... His Reply Was It Hurt Alittle But I Give Them A 5 . He Did area Good. The Doctor And Assist Were Really Good With Him.

Dr. Sylvester is a great dentist. He has patience with the kids and is very knowledgeable about his job. I highly recommend him. The staff that were on duty that day made the environment warm and very welcoming. They were very kind to us. My kids had a great experience.

I would recommend to anybody. I love the staff and how friendly they are. I have taken my daughter twice so far and I am in and out of there. They are great with her and makes sure she is at ease as much as possible. If you are looking for a dentist for your child, I highly recommend Kids First.

If I could leave no stars I would. I scheduled my son his first dental appointment here and arrived only to find out that no appointment was scheduled. The lady who answered stated that they have two systems so it could have been put in there but they don’t even make appointments after one. She offered to reschedule but I drove over 30 mins, took off of work, and took him out of daycare for this appointment! I will not return. Appointment rescheduled with All Kids Pediatric Dentistry in Indian trail. First impression is everything and that little mix up caused you guys to lose a new patient.

Our children had a great experience a Kids First Dental. The staff were all very professional. They made all of our children feel very safe and relaxed. And they did a wonderful job cleaning their teeth. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Our kids have been going here since we moved to Lancaster 6 years ago and now with ortho for almost 3 years. We LOVE the staff! Carolyn and Keyda at the front desk are so friendly and professional, but above all else I love that they’re happy voices answering the phones (who wants to talk to someone in a bad mood when they call their doctor’s office?...not me).Since we deal mostly with ortho these days, I’d like to give a HUGE shoutout to Haven, who’s always so helpful and friendly and such a hard worker. She’s a shining star and we sure do appreciate and enjoy her personality and how well she and Dr. Leo work together.

Such a great experience even with Covid. The doctors take all the precautions they need to as soon as you walk in.

Took my grand-Daughter for the 1st time today to Lancaster SC location. Very clean office and patient rooms. Everyone so professional. Got her in there b4 the appt time and out in 35 mins. Dr. was very professional and knowledgeable. So happy Francesca recommened this dentist for kids. Look n forward meeting with orthodontist nx month!!! Thank u for a great experience.

I scheduled both my daughters an 8am appt with this practice and on the day of the appt I get there and call to check them in and the receptionist tells me that my appt has been canceled because I never confirmed. I tell her well you guys sent me 2 text messages saying we will see you on your appt date. Then she had the nerve to say well someone else did not confirm so if you can hang tight if they dont show then we can give you their spot but if they di show we will just reschedule. Who does that you are giving that patient the benefit of the doubt that they might show up, but you never have me the benefit of the doubt and if you are going to cancel my appt you could have sent a text message to let me know. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYBODY

Would have given 4 stars but since the changes due to COVID 19, the wait times have been awful. Today we waited outside for 40 minutes and then I called inside to make sure they hadn’t forgotten my son’s and daughter’s appointments and was informed they were waiting on a chair but one was available then for my son. We then waited an additional 15 minutes before my daughter could go in after I called again while waiting outside. Waiting 40-55 minutes to be called in for your appointment is a bit much even though it maybe due to the COVID 19 precautions. A few weeks ago my son had an orthodontist appointment, we waited 30 minutes before he was called to go inside. Too hot for the long waits outside, even with air conditioning. Hopefully the wait times will get better. I have no complaints about their staff or services though at this time. Just the awful wait times.

Kids First Dental is awesome!!! It’s very clean, the nurses are friendly and you can tell they love what they do. I live in Winnsboro SC and I drive 35 minutes to Kids First Dental in Lancaster SC. My daughter comes faithful to get her teeth cleaned and today she had to get a tooth removed. The doctor was so nice he made my child feel safe.

My daughter and I both have had the pleasure of getting out braces here. Dr. Leo and “the girls” as my daughter calls them always makes you feel at home. Dr. Leo takes his time and you can tell he truly loves orthodontics. He even takes his time and makes sure to explain and teach “the girls” as he does it. I would highly recommend them!! The prices are reasonable, wait time is minimal, and everyone is super nice! If you go anywhere else you are missing out!!

Dentist is rude, he is too worried about his payment instead of providing a service. I have 2 insurances and they only accept one. Okay fine. but then he tries to argue with you and tell you what the one will and will not cover. ..not knowing the background or history. Hes done this now 2x...transferred my kids today. Done with his unprofessionalism and his assistant is just as rude. Good bye!!!

Maid an appointment a week before scheduled time. When I arrived they told me it was a walk-in. Will not ever be back

My experience with Dr. Smith and Haven was AWESOME They are sooo nurturing to their patients and as a parent that makes me feel like my children are definitely in good hands.

They was very gentle with my one year old and very quick! And the dentist explained everything to me in details! Definitely recommend taking your kids here

Dr. Smith and her assistant Haven were both amazing!! They made my child feel so comfortable! It was the best dentist experience we have had so far. Definitely recommend!

My daughter went for a small filling today & everyone was excellent! My daughter was terrified at 1st but Haven & Dr Smith were awesome with calming her and even relieving my anxiety! We originally agreed to do laughing gas but my daughter didnt really like the way the machine fitted on her nose so we decided to let her try it without it & to my surprise she did great!! They sung to her to take her mind off of the procedure she even giggled a few times! Everything was great!

This place is the Best. All my children are seen here. They work so well together to meet the childrens needs.Update 6/25/2020First visit since the covid 19 pandemic began and the staff was perfect. They took all necessary precautions. We called when we arrived. They said come on in. Our temperature was taken. We answered a few questions . Put on sanitizer and masks and went straight to back. Absolutely perfect experience.

Our 1st Visit 3 yrs ago for my daughter was Cordial- the Staff & Doctor are so nice- Iyanna was 5 yrs old ( i think my yrs are correct) but I must share if you want your love one to get the best dental care then I suggest Kids First Dental- you will be so happy with your choice- I promise you from the time you walk in the door- the ladies at the front desk greet you with a warm smile and a friendly voice- then when you go to the back to see the Doctor- you are well taken care of- beginning with his assistant then the Doctor himself when he cone in- Dr. Sylvester is the best! I will always bring Iyanna to Kids First. Dental- Thank you to the Staff & Doctor

My daughter was nervous and obviously afraid. Everyone was patient and kind, explaining everything they were going to do before x rays or touching her mouth. The doctor was encouraging throughout the whole process saying things like, youre doing great. I am so proud.

My 6yr old has anxiety when it comes to doctors office, just like most kids and here is different. They’re extremely patient with kids and do all that they can to make them comfortable and give them a fun experience.

Always professional and quick service I’m never there all day and I usually have all 5 of my kids. It’s so convenient.

Both of my children have been going here for a few years now. The doctors, hygienist, and assistants are great with my kids! This is the ONLY pediatric dentist office that I will take my kids to now.

My 6yr old son always has a great experience at Kids First, went Thursday for a cleaning and had to have two fillings and sealant put on his teeth. We didnt have to make any additional appointments they worked him in and was out in no time.

Great experience and staff were very friendly.

Took 5 year old for cleaning and small filling. Dentist never acknowledged us...talked around me and my daughter. He’d address hygienist and she’d repeat it to me. With abruptly gave her a shot, which immediately bruised her entire cheek. It was literally blue when we left. He was so rude, so at that point we walked out.

We wont be going back to this practice. My daughter has anxiety, SPD, and issues with her mouth. We were reassured the dentist had experience with kids with these types of issues but the dentist was rough with my daughters mouth, he spoke to the hygienist instead of us, and they tried to sell dental work she didnt need. In comparison, our new place anyone who touches my daughter explains everything they do before they touch her, and shes now not terrified of going to the dentist. After I had switched, I was contacted to reschedule an appointment they felt I missed (they knew we switched because new place had requested records multiple times). The woman was aggressive and threatening on the phone, accusing me of being negligent until I got a word in to explain we had switched months ago, then her tone changed and she begged us to come back to the practice. There practices are too aggressive for a childrens dental office. Even posting this I fear Ill get a few calls demanding answers.

Ive been taking my child here for awhile and the last couple of yimes we not that great. The dentist talks yo jis hygenist anf not the patient anf he was very rough wiyh my daughter both times. Her gums were hurting really bad after he I guess touched up her mouth.

My son had his first dental work here.We saw DR.Smith they did a great job they told me what needed to be done and how theyd do it then same thing with my son but on a seven years level,renamed all the equipment so it wouldnt sound scary to him and just talked to him and kept it on his level they kept everything lowkey and friendly so it wasnt so scary doctor and he was much more relaxed

Just left the office, Dr. Jones was my sons Dr. She got upset/ angry and borderline confrontational. She was upset that I was questioning if my childs gums were numb or not. She went in with the needle immediately after applying and wiping off the numbing gel. She felt I was questioning her. Not a good experience at all for me or my child.
