Even with all the negative reviews I still gave this place a shot. I went in there for a cleaning and exam and I left with a pulled tooth and a filling and they wouldnt do the cleaning because I still have a cavity. After my fillings I had to go back and have my teeth grinded on and adjusted because of how off my bite was. It still didnt fix the problem I think just over time it aligned itself. So morale of the story I went to get a cleaning and left with a sore jaw that last 6 months. But they were really nice and I feel like they tried there best and cared if they did a good job. So therfore I will be going back and giving them another chance. But if your looking to get a cleaning I cant say Id recommend here because they wouldnt clean my teeth unless they were 100% so Im not sure if every dentist is this way or if this place just doesnt like doing cleanings..

Comfort dental?? more like discomfort dental! the dentists there don’t know what they’re doing! i got fillings done there about 2 weeks and my teeth are in so much pain to the point where i am crying. do not go here unless you want to be in pain after you leave. there’s multiple reviews stating that they are bad. these guys are a joke

Comfort Dental?? More like discomfort Dental! Got my teeth cleaned and had to get a couple fillings. So first they numb my mouth and after it is numb the “dentist” comes to scrape my teeth. I have never had so much pain at the dentist! It literally felt like he was going to scrap all the gums off my teeth!! My mouth was numb and I felt so much pain when he was scraping my teeth I literally cannot imagine what it would have been like without the numbing. Left there with blood in my mouth. This picture below is 7 hours after I left!! My gums were still bleeding!! The staff is also very cold and rushy. They make no effort to get to know you and just rush you in and out. DO NOT GO THERE!!

My husband, daughter, and I have had nothing but great experiences with the Comfort dental staff! Grateful for their patience and kindness everytime we walk through the doors.

I was skeptical after reading the mixed reviews I’ll be honest. And I’m not one to typically take the time to leave a review. But in this case I think it’s warranted. Looks can be deceiving, it looks like an old Tee-Jay’s turned into a dentists office (because it literally is). But don’t let that fool you, I was cared for phenomenally. I am terrified of the dentists but it was Saturday morning and I hadn’t slept all night with a toothache. They got me in right away same day, I had an x-ray and the very kind and professional dentist introduced himself and explained my options along with the pricing of each as I don’t have insurance. I elected to have the tooth extracted and didn’t feel a thing. They were very concerned about my comfort which was awesome. Would recommend to anyone. I’ll stick with my normal dentist that isn’t open on the weekends but I would choose this place as a close second. Thanks so much Comfort Dental team!

I was just there, yesterday. I had a tooth pulled and two teeth were prepared to have a bridge made. I felt zero discomfort. Today, I feel zero pain. I have NO idea why I get so much anxiety when I have to see a dentist. My sister went here so I called for an an appointment after I had broken off a tooth.I went in and was greeted. The forms didnt take very long to fill out.When I went in, they xrayed my teeth and gave me choices on what to have done. Pull the tooth, have a crown made or Pull the tooth and then have the teeth crowned to have a bridge made that would be permanent.During the procedure, I felt no pain at all. They numbed my gums and then gave me a numbing shot. Yes, you feel a pinch but it lasts a second and then everything was numb while they did all that work.I had Dr. Munn and his assistant. After I left, I just shook my head that I had any anxiety at all in seeing a dentist. The entire office worked together and were beyond friendly.I read some of these reviews before hand and almost laughed at some of the things people wrote. waited an hour and a half. I just didnt believe them. Thats what compelled me to write my review.I hope I dont ever break off another tooth, ( I grind my teeth at night and also like to crunch ice) but if I need to go back, I wouldnt hesitate to call them for my dental work.

Had some fillings and extractions done. Not only was Dr. Canfield professional, but he did a great job, along with the dental assistant. Great overall experience!

Dont get fillings done here.During my last visit to Comfort Dental, I had a cavity filled. The first woman who came in was very gentle with numbing my mouth. The second girl who came in to do the filling was nice. She was singing while she worked. She had me bite down on that paper maybe 20 times. Finally, someone else came back in to check it out and file down the tooth some more. This filling broke within a week. I called to cancel my cleaning that was scheduled and politely told them my tooth had broken before the week was out. The receptionist tried to explain something about when moisture gets trapped in the filling, it can break, but to be honest I didnt want to hear it because I know that girl wasnt doing a good job while it was happening. All in all, I wouldnt go there even though they accept Medicaid because the procedure might not even be worth it!

I had a bad tooth that was scheduled to be taken out by a different dentistry office. The pain got so intense I couldnt wait so I called comfort dental. They had an opening the next day. They got me in quickly as a new patient and extracted my tooth same day. The dentist must have been very skilled because my pain level is extremely minimal. The ambiance can be a little intimidating because it is pretty open. You can hear all of these people being worked on at the same time but it didnt feel impersonal. I think it is a smart design because it allows for quicker access by doctors,etc. It cost me hundreds less for the extraction than their competitor and they quoted me for a root canal at $1000 out of pocket cheaper. (Both in network for my insurance). Overall great service and skill.

The first time I came here as a new patient the appointment was quick and easy and Dr Canfield did a good job of educating me on my X-rays and what I needed done. Came back a couple weeks later to get cavities filled and it was like they forgot about me in the chair. I was there for over 1.5 hours and didn’t leave until after the clinic had closed. Had an appointment for general cleaning today, was 15 mins early, and waited until over an hour had passed from my scheduled appointment time. Decided to just leave at that point.

Don’t show up early if your a new patient, horrible customer service, one young lady was so rude because I showed up early! Walked out after waiting for over an hour!! I’ll spend my hard earned money on a great place, this was not it!! I wouldn’t even give it one star!! Run and find someplace else to go!!!

Visited to have the sites of recent extractions checked. I was reassured to be told that my jaw is healing well. Again, I was treated with courtesy and kindness. My next appointment was confirmed, and my plan of treatment reviewed and discussed. Im glad I found Comfort Dental.

Dont ever get fillings here. I have went back twice to get my upper teeth looked at. They say everything is fine, but as I lay here in pain for the forth night in a row I find this to be upsetting. There is no comfort in their dentistry.

Dr Canfield is absolutely amazing!!!!!! Truly cares about his patients and is an excellent dentist. Best experience I have ever had at the dentist. He made sure I was 100% comfortable and okay the entire time. He was very informative and gave his opinion on the best plan for my dental work. He takes his time and makes you truly feel like he cares about you as a person not just a job. I also have to mention a woman named Sabrina that did my fillings she was such a sweetheart!!!! So so nice also made me feel comfortable and kept making sure I was okay and asking if I was okay during the entire process. She explained everything she was going to do and how it was going to feel which truly makes a difference when your nervous. She did an excellent job and my teeth look amazing can’t even tell I have fillings. I wrote a review on the actual comfort dental website too In hopes that these two get the appreciation they deserve because they changed my whole entire dental experience! THANK YOU DR. I got a cleaning right before Christmas and had a wisdom tooth pulled yesterday. Both appointments went very quickly and smoothly with no pain after either one. The staff was amazing and very friendly. Im glad I chose them as my new dentist.

I had been hesitant about taking my sons to the pediatric dental places in Lancaster so I was going up to Dublin to have them seen. Because of the drive we had gotten quite a bit behind schedule to have them seen until my son chipped his front tooth. We went to Dublin again and found that my older child had a bit of work to be done including his front tooth. The Dr. said that because he had all adult teeth and a bit of work to be done, she recommended that we go to Comfort Dental around Sawmill. I knew there was a comfort dental in Lancaster and gave them a call. They got me in the next day during the late afternoon which is perfect for my work hours. The waiting area was simple and not too promising but once we got into the back my views changed. Every person that we came into contact with was pleasant and friendly. The artist as they called it who fixed my sons front tooth and teeth stayed over his scheduled time to finish my sons teeth. I was so impressed that I of course scheduled another session for my son and one for myself as well early next week! I definitely reccomend them!

This is one of the most unprofessional offices I’ve ever been to. I made an appointment to get some teeth pulled, I didn’t want to take my wallet or purse in while under twilight because you just never know about people these days, and when I called to see if I needed any ID or insurance cards turns out they never even had my appointment scheduled. They have had to redo my fillings 4-6 times and the last time they painfully injected the numbing agent to far and it “pooled” under my eye (I do have photos) and ended up temporarily making my right eye have blurry vision. Them along with another chain dentist office in town Is why I will NEVER go to another chain office again! The staff is rude and the doctors are always fresh out of school with no supervision. I do not recommend them for anything more than teeth cleanings! They are also not private about anything! Every time I’ve gone they have talked about my “charts” loudly outside my “room.” Its not like its top secret information but it’s my information and they could at least try and talk quietly. I’ve also heard them yell from room to room if another doctor (who is with another patient) has a certain tool, piece, etc. Comfort Dental you will never get me or my family’s business or money again!

Three stars because I had an Amazing experience the first time I went - referred by a friend that is a hygienist there, she advised what dentist did the exam and it was a perfectly fine appointment from start to finish. However, my visit today was another story.. I did not get that same dentist.. Instead, I had a doctor who had my gums bleeding from the moment I opened my mouth until well after he was finished. And even still, 4 hours later, if I allow my jaw to shut, I have sharp, shooting pain in my molars.If you get a doctor you like, make sure you request that one whenever you go back.

I just had five fillings done and I am really unhappy with the girl who did the fillings. Im only giving two stars because my last two visits were great, but this girl, Mara hurt me. She hurt me, she was rude to me. I told her she was hurting me and she said, Yeah, youre not numb on this side so youll just have to feel it. She had terrible bedside manner and I honestly felt scared at certain points in the procedure. By the end I wasnt numb anymore and I could feel what she was doing. I asked her at one point if she was almost finished and she said, very rudely, Nope! We still have 3 to go! If your patient is obviously having a hard time, has been sitting there with her mouth open for 3 hours, and asks if we are almost done, what should you say? Yes, dear! Only 3 to go! It felt like she didnt have any idea what she was doing and now my mouth and whole side of my face is killing me. Ive had many many many fillings and I have never had this much pain. Not ever. Now, I did have five fillings at once, but I have had five at once before and it never hurt like this. Ive never experienced someone like her. Im supposed to go back for one more filling and Im wary to even go there again.

Literally the best dentist and staff I have ever experienced. Dr. Emerick is incredible and his staff is so considerate, patient and careful. I have a life long fear of any dentist but this office and all their staff made my many recent visits of fillings & crowns the best least terrifying dental visit I’ve ever had. Thank you to everyone there. Highly recommend!!

If I could give it -5 I would with out a doubt. The last visit I went to to get a filling A SINGLE filling. Took me almost 5 hours, my poor boyfriend waiting in the waiting room. Come to find out with out even telling me they filed my two teeth next to my front two down to little tooth picks?! They told me that I needed a crown?? Well then again with out telling me gave me a temporary crown, which just fell out last night when I was sleeping. So I had to make an emergency dentist appointment elsewhere. The new dentist is all sorts of confused at the monstrosity that is my mouth and their work. Absolutely appalling!!!

I work at a dental office that does not offer employees any kind of discount, and the insurance offered is not worth purchasing, so I called Comfort for a chipped tooth. They got me in that same morning for an appointment, I had my X-rays, exam with the Doctor, and fillings done within an hour.The staff was quick, efficient, and very friendly.I will definitely be coming back!

I was visiting SE Ohio and on that day after July 4th I broke a tooth, after calling several offices in many towns we finally found Comfort Dental in Lancaster open. They were able to see me within two hours. Dr. Merchant was very patient and informative with me. He listened to my needs and explained every step of the procedure. The staff was very helpful also. They were very reasonably priced as an added bonus. If I am ever in the area again and needed dental care I would not hesitate to return.

I hate that I even had to give them 1 star. This place is pathetic. Last time I was there, I was there for 4 1/2 hours for them to fix a tooth I had chipped. They ended up not listening to my needs or wants and filed the remaining tooth down to practically nothing, assuring me that my insurance would approve the tooth to get a crown. My insurance denied the crown and now Im stuck with a short little nub of a tooth that is very weak, unattractive, and cant even be used. Plus, Im in excruciating mouth pain every single day. I feel like I have gum damage from the work that they did. Because of comfort dental, I can barely eat, sleep, or participate in daily life because Im usually too focused on the mouth pain Im experiencing. Do NOT go to this place. There might be some other locations that arent as bad, but this one here in Lancaster is the worst. If you want to keep your teeth, dok not go here. Good luck!

I recently visited this location with an emergent situation with my daughter. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they were very accommodating given the situation. They were able to address the problem quickly. However, both my daughter and I were disappointed that no one introduced themselves. The dentist performing the procedure, and the understudy never introduced themselves. I know this may seem petty, but it sure makes a difference when someone is treating you if you at least know their name.

Dr. Pasquinelli did a great job on my cleaning today, as well as her staff. The office is clean, and the visit was nice and quick. Dr. Pasquinelli is very kind and helpful with any questions.

Clean, professional, caring, understanding, patient. Great place wish they had a closer location to me . But a 45 min drive isnt bad when you have a painful tooth. Thanks again

Giving 3 stars because i have seen multiple people with complaints, but from my personal experience they have been pretty good. I had alot of cavities so i went in to see if they could pull them out. I had no appointment but they where able to pull all but 6 of my teeth with no pain. My only complaint is that when i left i couldnt stop the bleeding because i ran out of the gauze they gave me.

I came here for my first time to the dentist in 15 years and my experience was great. Dr. Pasquillini and her assistant Steph were amazing with me, professional and kind. I got a bonding done on an incisor and Steph did a great job on the shape and color. It looks better than I could have expected. I am super happy with all the work they did. They were very helpful with all the questions I had and talked me through each procedure while it was occurring, always checking in on my comfort. I have found my dentist for life! Thank you Dr. Pasquillini and Steph!

Horrible experience. worst dentist ever. As of today Ive had 4 fillings they did fall out. Plus I was there in the dentist chair for 3 hours. Dont let the name fool you. there was nothing comfortable about it. Ive had 3 dentist appointments at my new dentist just to fix what they did. Now im going to have to set up yet another appointment to fix the filling that fell out today!

If I could give a 0 I would. They dont even deserve a half star!!. I went in for a CLEANING. They lied said I had multiple cavities. Put filings in now my mouth hurts the fillings are falling out after 4 days. I had great teeth before coming here. They messed them up so bad!!

I needed some bad teeth pulled but I was nervous from a previous experience at another office. The doctor was super patient and kind with me then got the teeth out before I realized he stated. This place is awesome!

Not a good place to go and this is why...I am a new patient and was told to be here 15min. Early to get paperwork done. My appointment was at 11a.m I got here at 10.45 filled everything out on time and Im STILL waiting to be seen an hour later. It is now almost noon. I am Not very happy being I have a 3yr old and 12yr old with me whom is now hungry....OK update on what happened when I finally got called back. I was put in another waiting room . To talk to the the doc. Not bad though was only there for about 5mins and two people later. They was so ober booked everyone that worked there was back and forth from one person to another with no time in between. Everyone who was there to get work wasnt even in their own room. We was all side by side with a thin wall that only separated us from seeing one another. The wall wasnt even conectdid on the sides only top n bottom and in the middle of each station. The doc did not not spend any time talking or listening to what I had to say about my own teeth and what problems I was having. Now they did do a great job cleaning my 3yrs teeth she loved it. The assistant Emily was amazing with how she spoke with my daughter to let her know everything was going to be ok. My son on the other hand was in much pain when they was flossing his teeth. Keep in mind he has perfect teeth and no problems at all. Now when it was my turn I had one taking pictures of my teeth. One that was scrapping my teeth (the doc) and one that cleaned my teeth. They all smelled really bad everytime their hands got close to my mouth like they didnt change their gloves between patients. I was trying to tell the doc that my gums and teeth in certain spots was sensitive but she didnt care and just kept saying its because shes irritating my gums but that wasnt the case cuz they are always like that even before I got there. After the cleaning which only took maybe a min. The water to spry our teeth off wasnt working but yet she just kept trying. I had to go to the sink and do it myself. My teeth should of felt great like a fresh dentist cleaning but no that wasnt the case. My teeth felt very nasty like there was sand paper in my mouth and was bleeding pretty bad from the scrapping and how hard she was flossing. Now i know i had some little tarter build up but nothing to where she had to scrap me that bad. I was told I needed to get all my wisdom teeth out and that they would be back with a referral and again that wasnt the case. I had to ask for it after they sent me to the front for a new appointment and told me I was all set to go..all n all I was not happy what so ever and will NEVER go back to that place again

I wouldnt let you operate on a dead dog. You have no clue what you are doing and you need to close doors. What would you do if the man went into shock or got bad infections? I hope he wins the law suit and takes everything you have.

They deserve zero stars! Botched my teeth, bite is all screwed up, and Im in more pain now weeks later than I was when I went in. They also tried to scam my insurance by claiming they cleaned my teeth.

I went there for a number of things and several weeks later I am still in so much pain I cant eat, sleep, or do pretty much of anything. Ive called them to see if they could help ease my pain and refuse to even offer me ibprohin.

Just when things couldn’t get worse, every visit got worse.

This place is a joke me and my wife went and had fillings done they continue to fall out and we have both had to make appointments to different dentists to fix the work they have done!!!!! DO NOT recommend!!!!!!!!!!
