Kenny did a wonderful acrylic and dip powder job for me and I loved it. Clean place and very organized. Great color selection. Kenny was fast but SUPER meticulous and detail oriented. On the left is day of and on the right is almost a week later after being at the beach/sand/chlorine every day! Can’t wait for my next set. $75 for toe polish change (which didn’t really hold up at the beach), full set and dip. Little pricey but I think well worth it.

I got my nails done here 3 times and each time I’ve been impressed and happy. The white nails are the most recent I got and it’s the first time I got it shorter. I do like my long nails and prefer my longer nails, but the length of my white nails look and work great for my up coming senior pictures and that’s all I care about. Nice to try different lengths too to see which you prefer. Highly recommend this place

I love this place. From the very first time I went there they made me fell comfortable. I went in for acrylic and found out they do dip powder and I could not have been anymore happy. They do amazing work and my nails always looks great and now are much more healthy.

New to the area. Was a walk-in today and talked to Andrew. He was very welcoming and I asked him about the spas history etc. he shared he had another location and just closed that one and expanded at new location. He said ask for me, when you make appt, I’ll take care of you. I take my pampering seriously!! What a relief to have found a place close to my new home. I cannot wait to try all of the services!! I just got my nails done today and I love them! The staff were very nice and were able to fit me in quickly for a full set and a pedicure. I wasnt really sure what I wanted and they helped me pick a color and then came up with this amazing design! If I am ever back in this area I will be returning for sure!

I absolutely love going to Modern Spa and Nails. The first time I went in I was going in for acrylics and a pedicure and I left in love with dip powder on my natural nails. I always get compliments on my nails and everyone can’t believe they are my own nail. They stay strong and healthy with no chipping for as long as 4 weeks! I finally found my nail place! I literally have lived in Lancaster county my entire life and never found a nail tech I wanted to go back to until I found this salon. I will never go anywhere else ever. They are the best, my nails have never looked this amazing. You get what you pay for and I don’t mind spending a tiny bit more if it means I’m going to be beyond satisfied.

This place is awesome! They can accommodate large groups (we had 6 for a wedding party) and the staff is both talented and professional. I got dipped nails (shoutout to Andrew) and regular on my toes - both look fantastic after four long days of wedding festivities. The facility and chairs are new, making for a relaxing experience. And the prices are very fair.

Second time coming here and Khevin makes my dip gel mani to a perfect thickness! Both Amy and Thao have done my Pedicures and been awesome about it. Overall very gentle and ask how I like my color or shape, etc. throughout the process. I love that they want to know honestly if a client does not like something. Will continue to come back. 😊

Top notch pedicure with great attention to detail. Requested a dark pink, closed my eyes and the color was definitely not what I asked for. Pretty red though, unfortunately it ended up smeared on my sandal. The natural manicure was poor. Had to refile, nip cuticles, and clean under my nails when I got home.The salon is clean and everyone wears masks (customers, too, with the surge)...They probably do a good job with speciality nails as clients seemed happy and satisfied with the work. Nail techs deserve a good tip, but this time I could not justify being generous.

I had Twee for a pedicure. She gave a wonderful foot and calf massage, it was very relaxing. She was also very pleasant to talk with!! Twee did an excellent job recreating a design for me from the internet. Very happy with now my nails turned out.

I see Kenny for a dip manicure every 2-3 weeks and he kills it every time! Have never had any issues with a manicure from him, and he’s very polite and professional!

I got a manicure/pedicure last weekend with my best friend and 8 month old. They were truly amazing with my baby. They entertained her the entire time while making my nails perfect. They were so patient and kind to all of us. I’ve gone to a lot of nail salons in my day especially during the almost 10 years I’ve lived in Lancaster and this was one of the best experiences!

My rating comes from this location being beautiful, and the workers are extremely nice. However, I did not rate my experience a 5-star due to this nail salon being one of the most expensive places I have ever gotten my nails done at. As well as the nail tech finishing my full set (dip powder) in under 20minutes. Ive been to other nails salons where they take their time. A few things that I have received at other nail salons are (that are not a huge deal - but the overall experience is what is) cuticle oil on your cuticles, wrap your hands with a warm towel, quickly massage them with lotion. Had I felt the nail tech took their time and was gentle, I may have give it a 4-star. If you go to this place, DONOT pay $50 for dip powder on your hands.. I have been to multiple locations where dip is no more then $35.

If I could give 6/5 stars, I would. Amazing service and quality products. Very efficient and reasonably priced. Also, Andrew is actual perfection - funny, professional and phenomenal service. I’ll be back!

Just so in love with this place. We were well taken care of, our nails came out gorgeous, we will be returning.

We went in for our appointment and right away after we sat in our manicure chairs (I was there with a party of 3) Khevin came up and told us we had to try out the dip manicure. We asked him a few questions and specifically if it costed more since we didn’t want to pay more for it. He said no and that it’s the same amount as the acrylic nails and so we went ahead and all got dip manicures. I paid $55 since I got oval and dip manicure and the manicure is okay. The reason I give them one star is for lying to us about the dip manicures price. I honestly feel like the only goal is to get the customers to go with the more expensive items. And reading all the reviews on here has just confirmed those feelings. Khevin did my manicure and made several deep grooves in my nails and finger with his sanding tool. The picture is of my pinky which is the only which actually bled.

First time getting dip powder and I LOVE the result. I was worried I would be unsatisfied due to horrible visits to other salons, but they did amazing. Will definitely come again! 💟

We brought a bridal party here for pedicures and manicures. They were very prepared for us and took care of each of us in a timely and very professional manner. Their shop is beautiful and clean. I highly recommend them!

Andrew was my nail tech and did an AMAZING JOB!!! I cant even begin to explain! He treated me so well, was quick and made sure I was happy!! He used dip polish and I am in love with my nails they look beautiful and natural !! For my first time here he just blew me away ! It was such a pretty set up inside as well ! Cant wait to go back !

My friend and I went Sunday morning when they first opened at 11. We did not have an appointment and it was pretty busy. The staff was quick and we were not waiting for more than 5 minutes before being seated in massage chairs. Twee did my pedicure and I loved her. She was very friendly and conversed with me pretty much the whole time & I enjoyed getting to know her. She did a great job on my pedicure and I will definitely be back to see her. This is the only place I’ve gone to get my nails done since they first opened this store in Rohrstown. It is very nice inside and I recommend it to everyone I know.

Everyone there was very kind and professional. I will be returning as this was the best experience Ive had in a nail salon.

UPDATE: DESPITE CAREFUL WASHING AND NEOSPORIN, my toes have indeed developed pus and hurt like a mother!! I called and talked to Kevin the manager and he was not helpful at all. In fact, his suggestion (instead of refunding the $45 I spent at his shop to breathe other people’s foot dust and live in pain for the next couple of weeks), was that if agrees that my toes are infected then he’ll give me a gift card for services. Why would I EVER come back to your shop? Avoid this place unless you want to wear band aids after your first pedicure since lockdown like me! GROSS!!!!!Took a friend from out of town for a fun girls adventure, but wound up with 2 painful toes that are cut, irritated, and bleeding at the skin on the side of my toenails, the man giving the pedi was coughing the whole time, and worst of all, they use some electric scuffing tool that creates a dust cloud in the air for everyone to see and breathe as it floats every time someone is getting a pedicure!! It was a horrible experience and I really hope I don’t wind up with an infection or worse.2 thumbs and 10 toes down!!

This place is amazing. OK, so Ive been getting my nails done, gel manicure, for years. The first time I went here, they asked me if I wanted the dip powder instead. I was skeptical as I had tried it elsewhere before and was not pleased. But I said OK! because why not? Life is an adventure! Let me tell you - the dipping powder here is flawless. My nails are stronger because the dip powder doesnt need to be scraped off like the gel. My nails in general are healthier and look better and are growing so fast! I love this place and the affordable dip powder and the friendly staff and everything. I highly recommend this place.

I brought a bridal party of 6 girls including the 3 year old flower girl. They made us all feel welcome, got us all in on time and did a phenomenal job with all of our nails. They even made accommodations for the flower girl to get her toes and nails painted. Khevin and his staff were professional and talented. The place was super clean and well kept. I had such a rough rushed manicure. My cuticles werent addressed at all when I asked about them I was told I could pay an additional 15$ I paid 36$ for a gel acrylic refill. I have bubbles and my nails are indented in spots. Would not recommend. I do have to say the young lady working at the front was sweet.

The lady who did my nails was sweet however, she cut my foot numerous times. I refuse to go back to an establishment where you see the owner being argumentative with customers in the review comments. While it is a very nice setup, it seems unprofessional and the customer is always right, even when they’re not.

I’ve never left a negative review before and I honestly wasn’t sure if I wanted to because previously I had great experiences with Andrew (he’s the best) but this past time, I couldn’t get in with Andrew and I saw someone else. He seemed really distracted, was constantly texting, read his mail and then disappeared for like 15-20 minutes and really didn’t come back even when I asked another employee if he was coming back. I tried to be polite and explain that I had another appointment in an hour and I guess it’s my fault for assuming it would only take 40-45 minutes because that’s how it’s been every time I’ve had my nails done by Andrew. Andrew saved the day and came over to do my nails. I made it to my appointment on time thanks to Andrew. The nail tech that I started with never said anything when I got upset, just kind of stood there watching me, so I became very embarrassed and more upset. This was not a good time and I’m not sure I’ll be coming back.

My nails look really nice and I’m very satisfied with their work. Although prices are clearly listed, I do think they are a little high. I picked the lowest pedicure package for $30 and then they charge extra for gel. It ended up being $45 for a pedicure and $48 for my dip French nails. It’s just a little higher priced than I’m used to, but it was really good work. It’s the only place around that I’ve found to do a French with powder.

Being that I am new to the area, my first task was to find a great salon. Well, it wasn’t easy finding one during this pandemic but I eventually stumbled upon Modern Spa and Nails. It’s a beautifully constructed salon and the staff is quick while providing great quality services. I usually get SNS with tips and this is usually a long process. I was amazed at the quality and how fast everything was done. I would highly recommend Andrew but all of the staff are very experienced and professional as well.

I had high hopes due to the previous reviews of this salon- however, I got a manicure and feel that they rushed through the process, being very rough on my hands. It seemed like the technician rushed through the process of removing my gels, scraping my nails and over filing them. Then, during the manicure, there were two instances of deep cuts on my fingers because he seemed to be rushing to trim my cuticles. It is three days later and my fingers are still stinging/in pain in those areas. I also felt very pushed (even more than usually occurs) to upgrade my manicure from gel to dip). I would not recommend this salon. Pros were that they were quick and kind.

First of all, I had an appointment for a gel set and they did dip power. They did the dip powered manicure in 15 minutes which was very rushed and extremely sloppy. They did not let me pick a color or take into account what I was actually asking for. Rushed through the whole thing and never checked the nails at the end. They are lumpy, uneven and have bumps in the polish. Will never go back.

Andrew was very professional and very welcoming. He was great at listening to what I wanted and did my nails fast! He did a very nice nail design as well. Will recommend this place to others!

Taking a look around the saloon at the other customers faces I sought nothing but smiles. I have traveled all over the US and have stopped at various nail salons. I was here for Mother’s Day and got a gel pedicure and a facial. We had a party of 6 people and they got us in and out quickly all while providing amazing service and professionalism. They do great work here. I highly recommend this place.

I came in for a fill after having a bad experience at a different salon. Kenny came right over and did an AMAZING job. He fixed all my previous issues and made it so you would never know I didnt like my nails before. I will definitely be back.

I visited this salon for a manicure and pedicure with a bridal party this weekend. The technicians and service was great, but the woman who gave me my manicure and pedicure significantly cut my foot with the grinder, and began to bleed. She did apply neosporin and wipe away the blood, but I was offered no sort of compensation. 4 days later, and I am still dealing with repercussions of this injury, and was unable to wear heels throughout the wedding due to pain and bleeding in this cut. Overall, most of our bridal party had something wrong with our treatments (smudged paint, poor quality, etc.). Very nice and clean inside, but probably would not go back.

This business should remove the word “spa” from their name. It was the least relaxing, non-spa experience I ever had. The front desk receptionist shouted to nail technicians across the salon and the technicians themselves rushed through the process saying they had customers waiting. I just got a regular manicure with polish for a wedding the next day and the polish was clumpy and probably old considering the awful result. Upon closer examination, it was just sloppily done and the next day for the wedding several of my nails polish chipped completely off or had cracks and lifted portions. Thankfully someone in the wedding party had a bottle of polish fairly close in color to do some damage control. So, save your money and do it yourself because you will definitely do a better job than this business did.

We came here as a bridal party, the spa was clean and well directed and the technicians were very kind. However, we had several negative results with our manicures including the bride needing to come back in 3x to have her nails repaired. She ultimately removed the nail polish and did it herself because her manicure was so sticky. Our other bridesmaid also had her toe cut by the foot grinding machine and they offered us no compensation for the injury.

Best manicure and pedicure I have had in a long time. Very clean. Khevin was great.

First thing, I called & asked to make an appointment & was told they weren’t making appointments at this time. So when I walked in I was shocked when they asked if I had an appointment. I just went in for a basic manicure & pedicure. The nail technician was all over the place, couldn’t seem to focus. She rushed through my services and when taking a look at my nails you could definitely tell! The polish job was very sloppy….. my 11 year old nephew could have done a better job! Not even 24 hours later & my nails were chipping and peeling.

Andrew was amazing! He is funny, very professional & does an excellent job!! I definitely found my new nail spot!Amy was great as well. She did my deluxe pedicure. I was so pleased with the services I received. Definitely will be back.

Chose dip for the first time ever and I’m happy with how it turned out. Andrew did a great job! The experience was great. I was content with the cleanliness and how well they followed covid precautions. And I’m very thankful with their patience - I had to bring my kids with me, they didn’t make me feel bad if I had to tend to them or calm my daughter down, in fact they help me! I’m happy.

Yes there are positive reviews here but read all the negative reviews they are all 100% correct and then some. Even a walk and I waited 2 1/2 hours the manager was doing every other job for everybody else other than doing my job my nails. They are very on organized definitely not on time people are waiting hours to get their nails done. On top of that this place is so overpriced it’s ridiculous. They are no better than the next one down the road it looks good on the outside but the inside I assure you you’re going to spend a lot of money and it’s definitely not worth the price. Go somewhere else

If I could put 0 stars I would. I was moved around to different nail techs in the process of getting my nails done. I was charged $65 for a FILL on a previous set I had. Apart from the terrible paint job, with closer inspection I had found HAIR in my nails. Along with chips, glue around my cuticle and on the skin of my fingers, and bubbles in the paint. When I asked for a DISCOUNT on my nails, they refused, proceeded to begin yelling, cursing, and calling me and my boyfriend dirty. I do not recommend this place to ANYONE and should probably be calling state inspection at this point. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Nail techs were Khevin and Andrew

I asked for an acrylic full set with Gel and was charged 70, the length I had wasn’t long and not a crazy design. The acrylic was so thin and brittle and the gel started peeling the first day! I kept asking can you make it thicker and they never did. A huge bubble formed under the gel and i popped it and it was gel that wasn’t cured. I had made an appointment for 4 and was waiting there over 45 mins after my appointment time. The nails kept coming off and I didn’t even want them on anymore. Honestly the worst experience i’ve ever had, never going back there again.

I didn’t have an appointment but managed to get both a pedicure ( thank you Amy) and a manicure. I really like the decor and the extra attention to cleanliness. Andrew is so talented and friendly. This is what a nail salon should look and operate like!

This is my favorite salon by far! It’s beautiful & clean. Anna is my favorite for manicures & Kevin does amazing lashes that last over a month. I’m very picky and they’re my favorite!

Sat down and the dip powered came out even though I requested an acrylic full set. I basically had to argue to get acrylic over powder. Andrew was very rough with my hands and was rushing as if he had someplace to go . In fact I was “done” within 15 minutes. He nicked me at least seven or eight times first with the scissors then with the drill bit . My nails have lumps but you want to charge 5 dollars extra for a shape that should be included with an acrylic full set. outrageous!I will not be returning.

I went there for acrylics and I asked for the price and they said it would be $50. When I was done they tried to charge me $95. One person got all smart with me saying I should of known. Then he had a attitude saying to take off my designs. So I did. All nail salons Ive been to in the past tell me how much more they will charge with the designs before doing so. I wanted to get my nails taken off because the price was ridiculous, buy one of the ladies said no. I will never be coming back here again. I should of stuck with my nail salon I usually go to.

HORRIBLE.Went in for dip nails and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The guy left me with uneven nails, dip powder that didn’t even cover my entire nail, powder adhered all over my cuticles. The staff bragged about how fast he was but clearly they aren’t looking at the quality. Worst experience ever. I went from someone at another salon giving me quality service to being rushed out with a sloppy mani that my 3 year old could have done.
