I recently visited this allergy center and had such a good experience! I was referred there after a major hives episode and although all of my symptoms were gone when i had my appointment, they still did testing just to be safe. Turns out I’m pretty allergic to many environmental factors. I finally got answers to small chronic symptoms thanks to the team here listening and following through. They didn’t seem rushed and make sure to answer all of my questions. So thankful they didn’t pass me over like my many other experiences at other facilities/clinics.

Amazing care! Dr. Stephen Lockey III is so caring & thorough. He makes sure to explain everything very well and takes time helping & personalizing his care for his patient. I highly recommend him. The office staff is also fabulous. Everyone is very professional, meticulous, caring and considerate.

Not there when you need them! I was a patient there a few years back. I had an allergic reaction this week, and they did not have time for me because it had been too long since my last visit. They could only see me as a new patient, which means waiting for an appointment. They are not there for you when you really need them. ...........After I posted this review, they called back (this afternoon) and offered me an appointment the next week. I had already called another practice and got an appointment for that same day.

If I could give negative stars I would. They closed their Lebanon location when COVID happen so now I have to drive an hour one way just for shots. Their shot times are limited for people who have jobs and the receptionists are not educated on shot schedules.

I’m sad other people didn’t have a good experience like I did. I went back in March when I started having an allergic reaction and I didn’t know what triggered it. It was right before Quarantine started and while Covid was talked and it wasn’t as prevalent as now, the office took extreme measures to talk to me about the risks of Covid and ensure cleanliness in the office which was much appreciated. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Lockey was very friendly and was not rushing through the appointment which I appreciated. I did wait a bit but I have noticed that’s a trend in any medical facility where doctors are attentive versus trying to get as many people in and out. I recommend bringing a book or something to keep you occupied. The nurses were also friendly while running all the allergy tests. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

I rarely ever post reviews for lack of time, but after reading several reviews here, I felt compelled to provide my perspective. I have taken all three of my teenage daughters to Dr. Lockey to diagnose and find the root cause of allergy-related symptoms that have made it difficult for them to breathe at times. Other doctors were able to solve bits and pieces of the puzzle, but only Dr. Lockey was able to find the holistic cause by coordinating across disciplines with a pulmonologist, an ENT, and a pediatrician. We very much appreciated Dr. Lockey’s deep insight and personal analysis that accompanied the battery of tests his staff and other physicians performed. Dr. Lockey is highly experienced and takes the time that many other physicians do not. He is honest, direct, and asks the tough questions needed to get to a solution—and the result is what mattered most to us. For those who mentioned extended office waits, I would suggest bringing some reading material or scheduling an appointment early in the day. For us, the end result was well worth the wait, and I would highly recommend Dr. Lockey to anyone challenged with allergies.

I was very hesitant to go here after reading many bad reviews. I had an entirely different experience. They were ready for me when I arrived at 6:40 am as a new patient. They were extremely kind, incredibly thorough, and took time to answer all of my questions. I had to call their office with some updates/questions and was able to talk to the nurse right away. She was incredibly helpful and competent and understanding. I had to call back again, got through on the first try, and talked to her again. I was so impressed with how I was treated, how it was run, and how easy it was to get ahold of the nurse when I called. I was so impressed I had to write a review!

I went here once for an allergic reaction that was swelling up my face. It took over a month for them to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy. I kept calling for weeks to ask when they would be able to send my prescriptions and couldn’t reach anyone. Finally someone called me to get more information from me that they needed for my prescriptions, but by that time, my facial swelling had gone down and I didn’t need my prescriptions anymore. I asked to speak to someone in charge, and they wouldn’t let me. Eventually someone else called me, but it was someone telling me to pay them $150 that my insurance didn’t cover, not about how long it took them to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy. I said that it’s upsetting to pay them so much money when they couldn’t even send my prescriptions within a month, so they really didn’t help my allergy or treat me at all. The woman said it was normal for it to take a month. I’ve worked in a doctor’s office before, and that’s unacceptable. Patients visit doctors so that they can get treated in a timely manner. My mom also works in a doctor’s office, and she said the last time it took a person a month to send a prescription to a pharmacy, they were fired. Don’t go here if you expect to receive your prescriptions/ receive help for your allergy.

Would give this facility negative 10 stars solely on the fact of doctor lockey working there. I went there as a child for one visit for my asthma and allergies and have been haunted by it since. Dr. Lockey was a complete jackass and very unprofessional with me, i was a child at the time, and my mom. We never returned because of him. My moms friend just went there recently and had a very bad experience and my mom was able to guess it was dr. Lockey just by hearing the story. I’ve held these feelings in for a very long time, and I hope no one else has ever felt this way too. I would never ever recommend going there and wasting your time if he will be your doctor. However I’m sure the nursing staff, and other doctors if there are any, are probably great.

In reference to my earlier post and your reply. Thank you for calling me later after you spoke to the Dr. and he said he could see me in two days. I really needed to see a Dr today. After my initial call to you when you advised me that you couldn’t see me today, I made an appointment with another practice.

I had a great experience with this practice. It was one of the most thorough office visits Ive ever had. I felt like I got a very good explanation of allergies and the workings of the sinuses. The paperwork was extensive, but they sent it ahead of time. This allowed me to fill it out completely when I had time. #recommended

I waited 6 weeks to get a new patient appointment. I spent 45 minutes the night before my appointment filling out the huge packet of information (with many questions being redundant). I had a 10:15 am appointment and was told to arrive 15 minutes early. I checked-in at 10 am and was told they would be with me shortly. I sat and waited until 11 am with no one even so much as acknowledging me. I finally went up to the desk to find out what was going on since I had been waiting an hour already. The receptionist said she would go check on things and came back 5 minutes later to inform me that the dr. was running a little bit behind. She said they could get me into an exam room within the next 15 minutes but that it would be another 45 minutes before I could be seen by the doctor. That is an hour and a half past my appointment time (keeping in mind they told me once I am in the exam room, to expect my appointment to last about 2 hours). I dont understand how they could already be an hour and a half behind schedule when they had only been open for 2 hours at my appointment time. I left and was never even seen - I had already missed 2 hours of work and was in no position to miss another 2 1/2 hours, especially when they said they would not be doing any testing at this appointment and I would have to come back for another appointment for any blood tests, scratch tests, etc. This practice had zero respect for my time and could not even be bothered to let me know they were running behind while I was sitting and waiting for over an hour. I will never be returning. I will now be going to Lancaster Family Allergy, where I am already having a better experience. They scheduled my new patient appointment and are doing the scratch tests at that time so that I dont have to come back in for a second appointment just for the necessary testing. I would recommend avoiding Allergy and Asthma Center at all costs.

My husband was referred to this practice by our family doctor. When he called to schedule an appointment, he was told they do not accept our insurance, which he had no problem with and asked to schedule an appointment and he would pay out of pocket. The office refused to schedule an appointment and stated they do not accept patients who “do not have insurance”.

Had a great first appointment, but the when I showed up for my second appointment the receptionist informed me that my appointment had to be re-scheduled because my prescription wasnt ready. I normally wouldnt mind a simple re-schedule, but they called me the day before to confirm my appointment, I took the afternoon off of work and drove 30 minutes to their office only to be told I have to re-schedule. A call to reschedule my appointment prior to my showing up would have been just as easy as the appointment confirmation that I did receive 24 hrs before my appointment. Very confused and annoyed by the whole ordeal.

Every time I call it goes to a voicemail box, I leave a voicemail and I either do not get any response, or someone calls me and leaves me a voicemail and then doesnt pick up when I call right back. I wish I could write a review of the organization itself, but I cant seem to get an appointment scheduled to even know what its like. How do you get patients? How do people contact you? I dont get it.

I get allergy shots here. The staff is good, and the injection nurses keep things moving along. Also, they do have later hours once a week which is very convenient for me. I only give it 4 stars because although Dr. Lockey is a very good doctor, I find his bedside manner a bit lacking. That may be due to some recent staff turnover, so I will revise this review if things change. And while the injection nurses keep thing moving, there is generally a wait for regular appointments.

I have been somewhat satisfied with the care I have received from them but their billing department has a lot to be desired and any errors they make on your account are just computer glitches. The moral with them, if you have to deal with them, always pay by check, never credit card, clearly identity exactly how you want payment applied, and request a receipt to insure they did it correctly. They are not responsible for their computers or employees. I will be looking for another allergist in the future, one that is more competent.

Dr. Titi was a wonderful doctor and I have no complaints about him. Sadly he left the practice. The nursing staff is HORRIBLE to deal with. I had to leave 3 messages for someone to finally call me back. Once you do get to talk to them they are rude and dont want to go out of their way to help you. I will be finding a new doctor.

Kayla in the billing dept was very helpful with my account as my insurance company did not want to pay the claim. She filed an appeal and I didnt owe anything on my account in the end. This is to Tiara Thigpen, she was out on life-threatening medical leave in the beginning of last year and the end of 2014 for several months, so perhaps you want to get your facts straight before getting online and complaining about her specifically. It seems as though it may be your attitude and that is why you didnt get anywhere.

The staff of this place exceptional. Dr. Nejad on the other is your worst nightmare that has come to life. The man is condescending, arrogant, and worst of all he is woefully ignorant in his chosen field of medical practise. How this guy got a medical license or even a medical degree is a question I will ponder for a very very long time. He is absolutely the worst doctor I have ever experienced. At the very least his license to practice should be revoked. The best scencio would be for his presence to be purged from planet Earth.

The check in was fine and also the Nurse that took me back. The problem though is with Dr Stephen Lockey MD who I got to see. First of all hes direct with asking questions but, to the point of being very rude and disrespectful! I found myself starting to get uptight and uncomfortable with his questions as I was trying give answers without getting snapped at. My Moms side of the family is in medicine and no one has ever treated a patient the way Dr Lockey treated me. During my office visit Dr. Lockey asked me if I wanted help to loose weight. When I answered yes he started to tell me all the foods I shouldnt eat and give insults. I was mistreated and insulted by a Doctor who should learn when to keep his big mouth shut! Save yourself the unnecessary aggravation and go some where else to a Doctor whos younger & has more professional manors!

** BEWARE OF THIS PLACE ****Chose this doctor at your own risk. My fiance went here and had to be taken out in an ambliance. The first test they did went find was your average scratch test. Then they did a test where they injected her with 18 different things at once (I know sounds like a good idea right). They left her alone in the room. After 5 minutes she felt weird and barely made it to the door to get help. She never made it back to the table. Blacked out from Anaphylactic shock and had to get shot with an epi pen. Was then taken to the hospital. When she inquired for a list of stuff they shot into her she received a hand written list which half of it she could not read. For the first test they left her alone for 20 mintues. Would they have done that for the second test too?Good luck if you go there but I would not reccomend it.

I was never seen in this office. I had an appt scheduled and i cancelled it giving notice i did not have my co-pay. They tried to force me to be seen and told me if i did not come in for an appt they would charge me a no-show fee even though i canceled ahead. I told the billing person Kayla i would not be seen there so they sent it to collections. Here it is 4 years later and im finding out about this on my credit. I left three messages for the billing person(still kayla) and no response. When i finally talk to someone i was told pay $25 out of the $50 no-show fee and they would pay for the rest. Four years later they are still trying to get money out of me. I am filing a complaint against this place.
