Dr Von Rueden really know how to talk to me about my back issues and gave me guidance away from surgery as a primary option. He really earned my trust in this process.Hi billing office will keep me from returning. They never bothered to submit my claim to my insurance company, despite the fact that they are listed in the providers network, and I received the appropriate referrals prior to the appointment. Instead, they waited six months, and then sent me an enormous bill saying that I was past due and the entire amount was due upon receipt. This was the first time I heard back from the office. The billing office wont return my phone calls now.I give the Dr Von Ruedens office 1 star and will not return because of the billing issue. If they call me back to resolve this fairly, they will get more than 1.

Do NOT agree to letting him use Infuse (BMP) if you have a TLIF/PLIF. ITS NOT FDA APPROVED FOR THAT USE. He told me there were no issues with it and it resulted in bone overgrowth and 2 nerve compressions which he misdiagnosed because it didnt matter because the pain didnt go down my leg. I had to have multiple surgeries to fix it!

Dr. Van Rueden fused my L4 and L5 seven years ago and basically totally changed the quality of my life. 20 years of agonizing pain gone. I was out of the hospital after two days - and walked my dogs in the woods one week later.

He fixed the botched S3 to L1 spinal fusion surgery done 8 1/2 years ago by Dr. Geck, which left me numb below the knees. If I could give Dr. Von Rueden 10 stars I would, he is worth it!!!
