I cannot say enough! After breaking my leg while visiting from another state, I made an appointment to be seen. I was taken right in when I arrived. The receptionist was warm, welcoming, thoughtful and professional. All of the staff treated me very professionally and with great compassion. They answered all of my questions and gave me the direction I needed. It was a great experience!

Literally go anywhere but here. Starting Friday I drove 40 minutes out of the way to this clinic to be seen since they were the only ones open taking my insurance. a lady on the phone said they were taking walk ins. Get there and I am told by a woman who repeatedly told me she was “ready to go home” that she could not get me seen today because she made to many appointments and they were booked. Didn’t know walk ins required appointments with a empty waiting room and parking lot. I explained my finger was broken and I just needed someone to properly splint it. She tried to be nice and offered to make me an appointment. For some reason I agreed. 1:15pm Saturday. Got there 10 minutes before one to a locked door. Called the number and it tells me they CLOSED for temporary time. No notice to my appointment. Tried calling the company line while I watched 4 other folks come pull on the door and tell me they to had an appointment. Service line hung up on me after I sat waiting on hold for 10 minutes. Here’s to hoping my finger just heals on its own. And While I know the owner will respond to me with a “we’re so sorry to hear that” no I don’t think you are, other reviewers obviously have these issues too and you do nothing to improve these issues.

I was visiting from Florida and needed a second opinion before flying home and Robyn the nurse practitioner gave me kind, thorough care on a Sunday no less, then got me put back in flying condition after a follow up visit. Convenient appointment scheduling online and they accepted my Medicare HMO! Couldn’t be more blessed to have this urgent care as a go to when I visit the area.

My son was able to get X-rays and the care he needed in order to determine he had a fractured wrist. We didn’t have to wait long to be seen. I highly recommend FastMed Urgent Care.

Walk Ins are NOT welcome. Despite all the advertising that walk ins are welcome and it is called “urgent care”, we got there THREE hours before closing and we’re turned away for not having an appointment. I cannot speak to the medical care, but if your need is urgent and you don’t book an appointment, I would go somewhere else.

I had a very positive experience with everyone at Fast Med - the receptionist, assistant and medical provider. They were all very friendly, positive and professional. And most importantly, I got the help I needed. I definitely recommend this business!

I made an appointment for 3:30pm and I didn’t see a doctor for over an hour and 30 min after said scheduled appointment. I don’t know if it is lack of staff or the fact that they move at the pace of turtles, but all I’m saying is don’t call yourself fast med when you take this long. Other than that the staff was super friendly.

Absolutely horrrible. The doctor allowed the receptionist to make my diagnosis and decided I wasnt worth seeing. I was diag osed later that day at MensTotal health with a stomach virus.

Fast Med in Lakeway has the most friendly and awesome Staff, from Front desk to Nurse and Doctors as well. Had 3 visits for a head injury within one week, with a different doctor each time. Everyone of them was extremely friendly, knowledgeable as well as absolutely beautiful. The rest of the staff was top notch as well. This will be my go to place for any future needs.

It doesnt deserve 1 star the way they treated a friend of mine. She went in thinking she possibly had a parasite. When she told the physician she smirked and said people in the US didnt get parasites. Then stood outside the doorway with coworkers, waite til yall hear this one. They all burst into laughter. She was so embarrassed she just ran out of the building.This place brings an all newmeaning to unprofessionalism.

Slow to get in but the front desk woman and my nurse were very sweet and kind as well as apologetic for the long wait. Doctor did not spend but 5 minutes with me and it felt like she was rushing me out.

I scheduled a rapid test on Friday for the following Sunday. I decided to take my chances on a walk-in test Saturday morning. I was the first person in line on Saturday morning. Once they unlocked the doors, we were informed that they had no staff for the front desk and the MA from the back was attempting to log in to the front desk check-in system while they waited on staff. She was unable to log in as she had just reset her password. She put a ticket into IT. By this time, there were around 10 people waiting to be checked in.A few minutes later, around 8:30, she and the provider came out from the back and stated that they were going to close for the day as they did not have proper staffing and didn’t know when they would. He stated that they were doubled-booked for the whole day and didn’t know how he was going to see them all anyway. The provider directed the patients to the urgent care across the street. Also providing information as to where to obtain OTC rapid covid tests. All the patients were ushered out and they locked the doors.After getting progressively sicker throughout the day Saturday, I decided to keep my appointment for Sunday morning. Again, I arrived right before 8:00. I was waiting by the door with a fever, severe body aches, and chills. I knocked on the door at 8:15, as I watched 2 staff members enter the building at 8:00. When staff came to the door, she said that they were waiting on staff and wouldn’t open until 8:30. I asked if I could sit in the WR as I was feeling so terrible. The staff rolled her eyes and begrudgingly let me inside. She said the only thing she could do me was to get me checked in. I accepted. Anything closer to being seen.The staff members finally showed up at 8:40. Another gentleman in the WR asked to leave and be texted when additional staff arrives, as this happened to him at the same location recently.Clearly there are significant staffing issues. But as an urgent care, it’s unacceptable to delay opening and attending to urgent medical needs. You should have all staffing shortage/issues worked out before the day of.

This was by far the worst healthcare experience I’ve had in recent memory. The receptionist was nice, but the physician’s assistant never bothered to introduce herself when she walked in the room and didn’t show any interest in my concerns as a patient; she barely said two words to me (she didn’t even tell me what my vitals were). The doctor was nice, but wrote off my symptoms as something he’s seen a lot of recently. When I tried to explain my medical history and why I was concerned about how they might evolve, he wasn’t interested in listening and told me that he didn’t see any evidence of that; if he’d bothered to listen or been open to a conversation, perhaps he would have better understood my concerns. During testing, the PA did nothing to make me feel better or provide anything resembling a caring bedside manner; I got emotional during one test and she just stared at me and asked if I wanted to decline it before leaving the room and loudly announcing that we were going to cancel that test.If the healthcare providers at Fast Med showed any interest in me as a patient, I probably wouldn’t have been so upset about the unwillingness to call in certain meds for me (my specialist usually does this, but he was out yesterday, so I wasn’t able to catch him before the weekend). Instead, I left feeling worse than when I walked in. I get that their objective is to cycle people in and out, but that doesn’t excuse such poor bedside manner, particularly on behalf of the PA.

Receptionist was very unprofessional and rude. Not exactly the way you should act towards patients.

Kristen, the PA was absolutely wonderful. She was very thorough with her questions and examination and I felt like I was in good hands with her recommendations. The nurse Sonja was also very professional and caring. I would highly recommend FastMed. I was very happy with the good care I received there.

FastMed Lakeway has been consistently dependable for me and my family. A recent potential fracture/break scared me, as a slammed arm on edge of concrete was a meh sudden event. After a little while It felt better, thus I ignored, only to be in pain every night or when I placed arm on table or slept on it. Off to FastMed LW. Thankfully it is a mere bone bruise, so I got a cushiony wrap to protect it while I carried on with my life! Highly recommend.

MY review is about FastMed billing/system process and customer service - My husband and I went to Fast Med, Lakeway for COVID test on Jan 8th as my 2 year old son was sick for 3 weeks (me and my husband didnt have any symptoms) . The service document sent by FastMed to Anthem blue cross stated global code not the COVID test code which caused anthem to not provide the benefit of COVID test 100% and I had to appeal the claim with Anthem blue cross explaining all the details. While the appeal is in process, I called FastMed and updated about the appeal so I wont receive any collection notice ,still they sent me a collection notice which is not fair. Fast med ,it is easy to give the explanation and code details to Anthem blue cross that we went in for COVID without symptoms. I have no clue why there is no simple system in fast med to explain this and help the customer.Also, the customer service number they have always go to voice call and I hardly get their call back after me trying to reach them 20-30 times..

Fast med team is outstanding. Very prompt professional medical service. I have had to visit them a couple of times for minor medicalServices. Saved me alot of time not having to make an appointment and go to my regular DR.

For a place thats suppose to be fast, theyre annoyingly slow...Had to take a drug screening, so I called days before to confirm the wait time and they said its 2 minutes roughly... Ended up waiting for over 40 minutes with people who showed up later than me and yet ended up going before me. Thats some serious BS. I had to miss something for work because of yalls incompetency and unfairness.This place clearly doesnt respect your time, so dont bother showing up for urgent needs. Youll end up bleeding out on their floor before they get out of their comfy chair

Made my son a sports physical appointment for 2:45pm. It’s now 3:30pm and my son still hasn’t stepped into the examination room. They just blab your information out for everyone to hear. I know the name and date of birth of several other people now in the room. They are understaffed, if you are in a hurry don’t come here. They double book appointments and just expect you to wait.

Bring something to read, you will have to wait eventhough you have an appointment.

They get you in quickly, in and out. The other day they took me as a walk in and was very quick and efficient. Everybody is always so nice and friendly. Very professional and no wait. Would recommend

Kristen Ross PA is indeed an asset to your medical practice. She was thorough, inquisitive and informative in her examination. I came in, a wary 90 year old grump, with severe laryngitis, sore throat and other attributing ailments and extremely fearful of pneumonia. The young man, nurse, X-ray tech was professional and adept in his assistance. I left with a sense of relief, assured that I had received quality medical care. Overall, a general good feeling that quality medical assistance was nearby.

The clinic is well run and pleasant. I went in for a covid test as well as a strep and the results were back in no time. Their front office, medical assistants and Nurse Practitioners are professional, kind and understanding. I arrived early, they took me right in and I was out again quickly. I appreciate their efficiency.

The only thing I really did not care for about FastMed its like any other doctors office once you get out of the lobby and they put you in the little room in the back you still have to wait for a while but nowhere near as long as you doing the doctors office so all-in-all I guess its a good thing but once they see you youre quick and efficient they get you in and get you out so yeah I gave them a four-and-a-half star

The staff is great..very professional and courteous. I arrived there 15 minutes before closing time with a dog bite to my hand and they took great care of me without rushing or having attitude about the timing. I would definitely recommend this facility!

My husband and I scheduled an appointment for 8:30am, we got there at 8 and we’re seen before our appointment time and we’re out by 9. It was the fastest and easiest urgent care experience I’ve had! Also the nurse and doctor were extremely friendly, informative and gentle with their care. Will definitely use them in the future!

New to the area and I was unsure of which Urgent care to go to. I was happily surprised from the initial phone conversation to meeting my doctor. I was able to be seen on the same day and was very happy with the services provided. Everyone was so nice and the doctor explained everything I needed to know.

Great facility! I didn’t have an appt and they were able to see me in 20 min. Very clean and everyone following proper procedures. The doctor who came in and discussed my lab results with me had great bedside manners. They are able to do a lot of things on site that others places aren’t. Highly recommend.

Drove 40 minutes to get coved test at 8:23am and Dr I don’t have my staff ready till 9:00am!Imagine if some one has an emergency, wow what a nice excuse.Go online and change testing hours, I’m not going to urgent care to have fun.

I went into this place for nausea and muscle fatigue. I apparently was found to have a urinary tract infection. They also told me that I was pregnant even though I started menopause at 52. Im over 60 and dont know why they persisted with the idea that their testing was accurate disregarding the impossibility. The attending nurse practitioner was too busy answering her phone during treatment. The lab technician took a urine sample and didnt even mark my sample which she eventually lost and had to call me to return and give them a second sample. She told me she would call me with the results which she has not done for over a week. I had to go to Baylo Scott and White emergency room to fix their crewup. I recommend you stay away from this place as a means to receive any kind of proper care.

Usually these Urgent Care places are a bit unfriendly since they have high turnover and are basically transactional with ever revolving patients, however, this location has some wonderful customer service, lots of smiles and a professional medical staff. Pleasantly surprised!

Staff lied about pricing. I had an infection in my finger and i knew the exact antibiotic needed but since this country absurdly made me get a prescription i went here. For 2 MINUTES of their time to write it they told me it was only 120 dollars. I thought that was the end until they DEMANDED another 60 dollars for nothing. Not to mention difficulty dealing with their billing department.

Showed up with a broken foot and they sent me away because I didn’t have an appointment. Didn’t realize URGENT care requires an appointment!!! What a horrible business and complete joke.

Terriable Terriable Terriable. They only have such good reviews because they are using a banned review gating strategy. Make an appointment, asked to come back later, wait for 1.5 hours on site, they forget to submit my perscription, then never give back my insurance card, it goes on.

I used to like this place, but they have really gone downhill. The staff is no longer friendly and nice. I have been treated rudely on more than one occasion after coming there for 5 years. Wait times even with online check in are way too long and the staff is dismissive and down right rude about it. I hear, “ yeah, we’re really behind, like, an hour behind...” when I inquire about it. No apology or even an acknowledgment of my inconvenience. When being taken to a room, the girl told my son and I to ‘go into room 3 and close the door.’ Then we sat there for so long, I thought they had forgot about us. The staff seems put out that you are even there.

I went to FastMed without an appointment and although the initial wait time given to me was an hour and a half, i ended up waiting around 20-30 minutes to be called back. The staff and NP on duty were extremely professional and helpful. Once in the room, I only waited a few minutes before staff came in to take vitals and gather necessary information. I received two texts from the center days after my appointment: one asking how my visit was and a follow up asking if I was feeling better. I would highly recommend this location.

This has been my second visit to FastMed-Lakeway, TX. Both times I’ve had same-day appointments, was seen promptly by friendly, helpful, qualified personnel and left with all the information I needed to get well. And I’ve received follow up phone calls checking on my progress. I recommend this facility for your urgent care needs.

I signed in online the evening before which cuts down on the myriad number of blocks on the paperwork. The front desk admin clerk was busy, but courteous. My medical tech was also courteous throughout the time I was there. She was also the Xray tech, which I liked because she knew exactly why I was there and didnt try to bend my foot painfully for the xray. The Nurse Practitioner was also kind. She gave me results of the xray and answered my questions... They gave me a CD of the xrays to take for my followup with Ortho this week... Nice place to go, when you need to go to Urgent Care.

The absolute best care! I came in after three days of fighting allergies which turned into a sinus infection. I came here after I had a horrible visit with another doctors office that was trying to give me pain pills and nothing for allergies. I received a steroid shot and antibiotics and I couldnt have been more grateful for the care I received!

Beyond a horrible place. I went there to get someone a drug test. I paid for it in advance online like they told me to and got the barcode. I went to the location and the strip center by the Randalls in Lakeway. It was on the corner. I walked in and the guy said he did not know what I was talking about. I looked at the email I received and it had a different suite number in the same Strip Center. So I walk down to the other suite number and it was a Verizon store. I than called their 800 number and talk to them and they told me it was the wrong suite number on the email and told me to go back to where I was before. How very unprofessional of them! Went back and talked to the guy and he finally got it figured out. But then he told me he needed some kind of e doc when they told me all I needed to bring was the barcode. After wrangling with him for a few minutes we finally figured out then I can send it for my phone via email to him. So apparently the company did not bother to send the location a confirmation email that we were coming. Then, after all that, we were told were going to have to wait an hour and a half to get the test. I had paid for a fast test that only take a few minutes to administer. After about an hour we finally got in and he took the test but they told us the results were inconclusive and they would have to send it out for further examination. This was last Friday. Just yesterday I finally received an email with the results. Like many people I would say if I could give this place no stars I would. They claim to have over 20,000 locations all over the country but they cannot even give you the correct address to go to. I have no idea how they are staying in business I would strongly recommend to anyone considering using them to run away as fast as you can and find some place else to go.

Just what the doctor ordered. Appointment scheduling was efficient and easy. The location is convenient and very well- maintained. The front office staff is NICE (a plus in this day and age!) and professional. And I felt well taken care of when I saw the nurse practitioner. Thumbs up for FastMed.

I went in for a covid test. Which is supposed to be quick and easy and I got an appointment before showing up and when I went to the back the nurse said they will be right with me in a couple of minutes. I live like 2 hours away to get this test done and I overheard the nurse and the doctor talking and he said an hour. They are not fast at all and they lie.

I would recomend fast med urgent care to anyone who wants good medical care quickly. Robin was awesome. And they are very affordable. There was no wait, in and out and very nice.

From the moment I walked in my experience was just plain bad. I wasn’t addressed by the front desk for about 15 mins. Once finally brought back very little vitals/questions asked pertaining to health and especially Covid-19. For something that was not an emergency I was told I needed to go to the ER immediately and the one I was directed to didn’t even have the correct doctor I supposedly needed. All around bad experience....

Its good to have FastMed Urgent Care in Lakeway especially when you have an emergency that needs immediate attention even it is not life threatening. I had a knife go inside the palm of my hand while trying to remove the seed of an avocado. I got scared because my hand and arm really hurt. They checked on me right away and did what had to be done. I was at ease with them and felt that I was in good hands. Ive been there before due to UTI and they prescribed to me the right antibiotic. What is important is that I always get better after seeing them!

Had an “opportunity” to be a patient, this morning, at the Lakeway, TX location. I made an appointment and checked in online as suggested. When I arrived there were several patients waiting to be seen (walk-in’s.) I waited five minutes, at the most. The staff was amazing. It was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely recommend this facility.

They were fast, courteous and have the ability to do X-rays as well. A lot faster, cheaper and have a wonderful staff!!

Tried to go in for urgent medical assistance and was told that the wait was two hours and they closed after that so no one could see me and that I could make an appointment the next morning. I made an appointment for the next morning at 8:30 and came the next morning. All doors were locked and eventually after calling the number with no luck and being about to leave a woman came out and said there would be no provider until at least 10:00 and they couldnt do anything until then. Not impressed to say the least.

Had a puncture to my thumb that required a stitch. FastMed lived up to their name. I was in and out quickly. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Won’t hesitate to go back if I need urgent care again. Thanks!

My FastMed Urgent Care in Lakeway is great! Been going there for long time for anything from stitches, to Xrays to upper respiratory.... Feel very safe since Covid. Everyone there is helpful, from the time I walk in until I leave!

Dr. Robyn made our experience at Fast Med. She was honest, transparent & timely helping my family navigate our medical needs.

They saw me quickly as a walk-in, took insurance, administered rapid COVID antigen test (negative) and then a strep test (also negative ). Clearly something is causing pain, very red, sore throat and aches. Prescribed prednisone for five days and advised me to contact them if not better. Clean. Courteous. Professional. I do not live in Lakeway year around so I do not have a primary care physician here. I will go back to them if needed.

They are friendly and quick to get you in and out most of the time. Very few times I have had to wait more than 30 minutes. It’s great for minor emergencies, twisted ankles, etc. they have X-Ray machine onsite and get results ASAP . Also it’s an urgent care vs ER, which my co-pay is $50 for urgent care and $150 for ER, and usually I always get additional bills from the ER, because every person is contracted and sends their own bills. I took my son for a grade 3 sprained ankle to the BSW ER in Lakeway because every place was closed and I ended receiving several bills and paid over $300 in total vs just the $50 at Fast Med urgent care for the same exact thing.

FastMed is the place to go in Lakeway and Bee Cave for an injury or illness. I was seen quickly and received excellent care. They are very organized and efficient. Great service!

So Ive been here quite a bit and its been great! Today however I made an appointment for my husband so we could avoid waiting and not have to wait inside a lobby with all this covid happening. His eye is completely swollen and we have no idea why...His appointment was at 1135am he didnt have a dr come in until 12:43pm and when the dr came in gave him no info about what it could be stayed in room for 3 minutes tops.... put him on sterioid and sent him on his way. Thanks for Zero help guys and the over an hour wait for NO INFO! Hope the steriod works.

I was a walk-in on New Years Eve for severe pain/rash. The registration/wait time with 4 people before me was about half an hour and the staff in front and doing the entry exam were friendly, efficient and professional. The attending PA was personable, answered all my concerns and very professional. Diagnosis was swift and I was quickly given a medical printout about the condition and my prescription was sent out electronically before I left.I was grateful to the staff for making me feel comfortable and felt confident that I was in good hands the entire time. If it was necessary for me to seek urgent medical attention again, I would definitely return to FastMed and would have no hesitation in referring others to them.Many thanks for all your help!

My husband & I just moved to Lakeway from California 14 days ago. We stayed quarantined during that time but felt we should get a Co-vid test. We walked into FastMed Urgent Care and had no problem with getting tested. The employees were very nice & helpful. If needed we’ll definitely go back. Thank you, Sue & Bob

The cost for the first visit was totally reasonable. The cost for the second visit was 2.5 x more than the first visit, for something that was much less involved. Lesson learned and we will go elsewhere from now on.

I went to this clinic for a pre-employment drug screen. This clinic was not very friendly, long wait, not very clean and one patient and one employee were not wearing masks. When I shared my experience with a friend she said she had gone to the exact same clinic and had the same experience. Will not use this clinic in the future.

Since my last favorable review, I returned to this location as I was not healing as quickly as I should. Once again, all staff members were extremely professional, competent, compassionate and friendly. They took more tests and X-rays (X-Ray was promptly read by an outside Radiologist) and determined my treatment should be elevated. Several days later, I’m doing much better. I was once again impressed with the staff and their quick response and efficiency. Check in, check out and payment processing are all fast and the costs are very reasonable. The ability to make an appointment and complete check in paperwork via their online site saves a lot of time. I would highly recommend this location for your health needs.

I have been a patient since they opened. They take such great care of you. The new scheduler made it so easy. They were ready when I walked in. I trust Robyn Swoboda....she assessed, explained and sent me on my way.

Easy to schedule an appointment. Saw me quickly and I was in and out before my allotted appointment time. The PA was diligent and very attentive.

Nice place! Reception was very nice. She accepted my VA Medical card and documebts authorizing outside VA care (VA Austin essentially closed). After a few minutes, I wS brought to back, health tech came in quickly, followed by the doctor/PA. Very quickly diagnosed me, and I was sent with a prescription. All went well (I wish the pharmacy up the road could figure out what to do so well). But I like this place and Ill keep their onfo in case theres another time I need urgentcare and the VA is still closed.

I have gone here many times and every time received courteous, expert care. Fast diagnosis, treatment be it an injection or prescription !! They are quick and easy to talk to. I never felt rushed and yet was out and home quickly. AMAZING
