While Dr. Ron Devere may have many accolades from a variety of sources, my sisters and I found his behavior towards my elderly parents and us to be god-like and condensing and not in the least helpful. He completely discounted any input from my mother or myself about my elderly fathers destructive behavior that is escalating. Do not go to Dr. Ron Devere if you would like to have your information and concerns kept confidential or if you would like any type of empathy or understanding.He informed my family that the diagnoses terms of Alzheimers and Dementia no longer were used; was unable to provide any helpful resources or answers; after five previous specialist and numerous types of testing over ten years in our home state, told us nothing was wrong with my father.On another occasion, Dr. Ron Devere broke HIPPA violations by opened the closed door into his sons office, Dr. Russ Devere, interrupting my neuro-psych my evaluation due to being the sole caregiver to my father. Dr. Ron Devere, along with his patient or friend directly behind him, stepped INSIDE of his sons professional doctors office while I was undergoing a five-hour emotionally draining test. I was crying at that emotionally intense and private sharing moment with Dr. Russ Devere (son). The father, Dr. Ron Devere broke my HIPPA rights because he wanted to tell his son that he would be gone for an hour and that he left a note on the receptionists desk with information for someone if they were to be looking for him.Unbelievable, illegal and the god complex of someone who has forgotten what suffering, heartache, patient tragedy, trauma and the unknown feels like and what it can do to a family.
