Dr. Selby and the team are amazing. I have been fortunate enough to be in their proactive care for a number of years and enjoy good health and happiness due to everyone focused on getting me to full life expectancy. She honestly and genuinely cares about her patients and it shows. Even though Lake Grove Family Medical Clinic isnt a provider for the employer-subsidized health insurance that I have, I still prefer to pay out-of-pocket to have Christie Schoppe, PA-C as my doctor and have the best medical care available.

I had an appointment for my annual check up. The staff is courteous and prompt. I received several notifications to remind me of my appointment.I met with Kristi Shoppe. She performed examination. I felt that she spent the right amount of time with me and asked probing questions about the state of my health. Examination and the questioning were all appropriate and relevant. They were also able to quickly provide the results of my urine test.I highly recommend the Lake Grove Family Clinic

Dr. Shoppe always takes great care of her patients. You never feel rushed, and you feel valued as a customer/patient.

Christie is always lovely and listens to everything and is responsive. I just had an unpleasant experience with the lady (she was not wearing a name tag and didn’t introduce herself) who took my blood. My arm has never hurt so bad after blood being drawn. I even had a lump where it was taken.

Always a quality and caring experience. Highly recommend.

My advice Please stay away from this clinic. There are better hospitals around. I have been in US for almost 5+ years, and never had such a worst experience with respect to the billing. Every time we miss payment there is a $15 penalty gets added to your bill which is hidden, will not be visible until 180 days. After 180 days, $90 would be added to the bill, and if the bill gets turned over to collection agency then another $75 collection fee. So, technically, what ever the bill amount + $165 would be the final bill. Which ever hospital i came across do not have this policy, seems this is the only clinic has it. Also, no option of online bill payment, and you would have to call their clinic or send the Card info over mail. Honestly i ended up in paying 5 times of my original bill amount (after the insurance payment). Services also not so great. I will not be going back again for sure and advise my friends too.

Dr David Selby is a class act, I am an RN and have worked in the Medical field for over 20 years, My wife and are new to the area and I was looking for a PCP that was close to home, Today was my first visit, I went in for my yearly physical, I can honestly say that this is an exceptional PCP and I am happy to have him as my primary care doctor.

Aweful experience. I was told by the woman working the front desk that my appointment would cost 75$....ONLY to get a bill three weeks later for another 75$. I am not sure if that was her intension but it was not a necessary appointment and I would not have gone if I had known the full price of the visit. I called to see if I could work something out. The employee was compeletly unwilling to admit that the front desk worker at the very least did not explain the billing to me properly. I told her that it is a bad business practice to mislead a client and then not work with them to fix the problem. She made more excuses and told me I must have misunderstood her.....Basically telling me it was my fault. Needless to say I will not be going back.
