Dr. Shah and his PAC, Alanda are truly an amazing team! Although, my time with Dr. Shah was very short, I really don’t hold this against him. He is a busy surgeon and did take his time to meet me and answer my questions before surgery. And never felt like he had bad table side manners. The staffs here at Front Range Orthopedics are wonderful as well. Everyone here I have interacted with are all professional, friendly and made me feel so welcome!

I had carpel tunnel release surgery on both wrists and Dr Shah and Alanda were great! They always made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions! The entire staff has been wonderful!

Dr. Shah was great. Very straightforward and clear. I love that he didn’t push extra treatment on me and force me into seemingly unnecessary weeks of physical therapy. The front office staff were kind, friendly, and professional. The x-ray tech was a pro, fast and she was hilarious for the 5 minutes I spent with her. They were doing covid health screenings at the front door.

Dr. Curtis and staff are so friendly. What a great place. My granddaughter felt so comfortable with Dr.Curtis. He had her laughing by the time we left. The nurse did an amazing job putting on the cast, it was so quick and a perfect fit. Thank you!

I arrived 15 min early and was immediately checked in and within a few more minutes I was called into a room where a nurse wrote up my chart. Immediately after the nurse was done a PA came in and discussed my pain and within 5 min after that Dr Pater was with me. Dr Pater is all business and does not waste my time. He assessed my hand, gave me a great solution and a brace and I was on my way. I felt cared for and the appointment was Informative and efficient. I will recommend Dr Pater to my friends.

I had injured my knee, it was very painful to walk on. At my first visit, he spent 10 minutes at least, talking about how I should/could cut calories. Get a journal, write down what you eat. They did xrays and he sent me home to ride an exercise bike slowly. Went back 2 weeks later, knee hurt worse than the first visit, and I told him I wanted an MRI done. Went back 2 weeks later and he told me there was nothing surgical he could do to help my knee. That my injury was a ticket to the gym. He also told me that if we have a 1 ton dump truck and we always put 1.5 tons in it, it is going to break down. we can repair a truck, we cant repair the body. HE COMPARED ME TO A DUMP TRUCK!!! I am over weight but that isnt the point. After reviewing my copy of the MRI report, the radiologist saw strains of 3 tendons, and bone edema that could be related to meniscus dysfunction. None of which he told me. I am now getting a second opinion.

I wish I could give more stars, because it seems like a pretty good practice. However, the care I received after 2 (non-elective) surgeries was surprisingly poor. I was not recovering as expected (despite rigorous PT) and they said Id simply have to live with less than 40% range of motion. I went somewhere else for another opinion, and had a relatively simple corrective surgery. Thankfully, I was able to regained 99% range of motion within a few weeks, which would not have been possible if I had listened to Front Range. Make sure your needs are within their realm of expertise before going here.

Dr. Chaus took his time to explain my recovery process from an broken Elbow.The entire staff has been very helpful,kind and professional and am very appreciative of the care I am receiving.

I really enjoyed how easy it was to get my stitches out. There was no waiting around and I was out of there in no time. You can tell how organized they are which is why they are so successful. The only thing better was my surgery which was done so expertly I was back on my feet in 3 weeks. I highly recommend this place😀

Dr. Shah is a narcissistic, incompetent human. Its shocking he even has a license to practice sports medicine. Hes completely unprofessional and acts like hes gods gift to patients. Do not bother with the Lafayette location of Front Range!

What a differnce a day makes. Dr. Shah set me up with a renewed mindset and the physical capability to enjoy life more and be able to be more productive at home and work. Highly recommended. Thanks FRO!

Entire experience was terrible. Giving 2 stars bc people often disregard 1 star ratings, but should be zero stars. It was extremely difficult to talk to anyone, or get any good information, no one explained anything. Christine Johnson is an awful demeaning doctor who explains nothing to patients, semms annoyed when you ask basic questions, and acts as if you only have one extremely expensive option. WORST DOCTOR EXPERIENCE EVER!!!. She definitely should not be PRACTICING medicine on anyone bc she has no clue what she is doing, or does and is just trying to steal peoples money, which is much worse. She is incompetent and should have her medical license taken away. I never leave reviews, but my experience was so awful I want to try to make sure no one else has a similar experience. I found the same surgery for less than half the price.

It was my first time at Dr. Paters office. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and understanding (I was a few minutes late and with my 1 1/2 year old in tow). Dr. Pater was great, explained everything, was ON TIME, and it was a nice quick appointment. Would highly recommend.

Dr Pater is the best! If you have a wrist/hand injury don’t waste your time with anyone else. He knows his stuff and gives you solid facts with no BS. Broke my wrist twice and both times he gave treatment that was quick and effective without surgery.

Everyone was very friendly and patient with my little ones broken arm. They made her feel as comfortable as they could considering her arm was broke and they had to put a cast on her Dr Chaus was very warm and kind as well.

Very professional staff, very fast visit from beginning to end and left with a plan for treatment. I was given an injection in hope of relief but the first 24 hours was pretty tough, painful. Recently having another procedure on my neck i was concerned about the injection but was told two different areas one joint and other nerves so i got the injection. Next day called my other surgeon and i was instructed not to have any injections or it will delay my fusion or stop it all together. Other than the issue with injection i was satisfied with my visit and will continue treatment.

I have had a great experience with FRO&S! Dr. Gerlach fused the right side of my neck at multiple levels. I had a great outcome and I am so grateful for his skill; I was able to get off of one of my maintenance narcotic medicines and the pain is significantly better.I now have a joint in my hand that needs to be repaired and fused. I am working with Dr. Pater on this case. My initial impression is that he cares for his patients and is passionate about getting you back to your life. He had a pleasant demeanor and easy to talk to. I look forward to another great experience. Front Range Orthopedics and Spine has my highest recommendation and respect.

Before getting the opportunity to arrive at FRO and Spine I received notice my appt. was changed. Good thing I took the time to call and question this move, unfortunately it would prove to be the beginning of one of the rudest inquiries I have yet to perform and it didnt end there. Upon arrival to the office i was greeted by co vid19 pre screening squad. Funny thing was I was the only person out of 15 to 20 asked to wash my hands..... and the only one who had recently had surgery upon a hand. Gee thanks !! Next came the check in process...... via a tablet vs. the old multi page paper and clip board style. Upon completing what i thought to be about 90% of said check in, the tablet glitched so i figured it best to approach the receptionist only to be questioned as to what have i done? WOW!! I was then rudely instructed to please complete all questions. Hmmmmmph 40 minutes after arrival and i get to re- answer the entire packet.LUCKY ME!! Finally!!! I was then called back to an exam room where i actually thought I would get to see a PHD.... wrong!!! To think that I ACTUALLY I THOUGHT I HAD MADE A DOCTORS APPOINTMENT. .... enter the PA. who will forever stand out in my mind as perhaps one of the most under informed and rudest health worker Ive ever encountered. There she stood ..... holding what one might think to be a medical chart, hopefully mine, yet obviously not. Quickly she set out to remove the pelvic x rays of God knows who, along with about 20 patients names. WHEW..... thank you for removing that patients x rays, thank goodness it didnt include their gentilia.!! So what brings you in today? Ok Im sorry but from this point forward my attitude went left field. I was not happy and after being profiled, left feeling stupid from the receptionist, and now asked why I was there......ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?????? Two hours and twelve minutes later I was relieved to exit this place !!! Given a choice I wouldnt ever return!!! Wait the young man who removed my stitches, all 17 of them....... he did an outstanding job thank you!!

Dr. Pater evaluated and repaired my torn bicep tendon. His team throughout the pre-surgery, surgery, recovery and rehabilitation periods were fantastic. His approach is direct and no-nonsense, and his attention to detail and surgical excellence beyond reproach. I recommend him highly, especially if you want the best chance for 100% recovery, and appreciate being treated with respect and dignity.

Friendly staff. Everyone was nice and respectful. I was taken care of right away and taken to a exam room very close to my appointment time .Dr Conney was professional and direct to the point. Answered all of questions and concerns without a lot of fluff. I will be back.

I would recommend Dr. Cooney and Front Range Orthopedics to anyone who needs a hip replacement. They were all very caring and I had excellent results. My only regret is that I did not get the new hip 2or3 years sooner!

Dr Chairs has been a amazing. My husband got hurt in October and Dr. Chairs was quick and proactive with the treatment. We went in for the consultation and were in surgery the next day. He has was professional with a good bed side manner. We couldnt be happier.

Anticipating surgery can be overwhelming, but from the moment I met Dr. Gerlach and his PA, Susan, I knew this was the team that I would trust for my surgery. They treated me with the upmost kindness, compassion and professionalism from the initial consultation, rounding in the hospital and the post surgery follow-up appointments. They always take the time to thoroughly answer all my questions. When they are with you, they make you feel as if you are their only patient, and you never sense that they are under the pressure of time, to get to their next appointment.I am so thankful for Dr. Gerlach and his PA Susan For helping me through surgery and the healing process!

I have brought my son to be seen by Dr. William Cooney three times for three different sports injuries. Each phone call and each visit was always very professional and courteous. From the front desk, to Doctors/Surgeons, PAs, X-ray techs, folks casting and removing casts are terrific! I would recommend this orthopedic practice to all.

This experience was a good one for me as I had a total knee replacement. They are fast and do respond but you usually have to leave a message, as they seem really busy. Great work on my knee and after care was good.

3 months post op. I am highly pleased with Dr. Nirav Shah. His expertise as a physician and surgeon are greatly appreciated. Obviously, he knows his craft extremely well. I received excellent care from Dr. Shah, his staff, and the entire team at Front Range Orthopedics & Spine. After suffering with a shoulder injury for way too long, I now have my shoulder back. Dr. Shah is the best surgeon Ive had the Dr. That scoped my knees didnt tell me how long before I could work or how long rehabilitation would be. Cant say enough of how happy I am with the surgery performed by Dr. Chause. Cant believe I was totally off all pain meds just two days after Bilateral quadricep tendon surgery. He has me on the road to recovery so that I can get back to my active lifestyle.

I spent a fair amount of time researching Dr. Cooney and then in discussions with him regarding hip replacement surgery. He came well recommended, answered my questions regarding the implant he would use and its track record as well as his specific surgical approach. My surgery was completed in the morning and I went home that evening. Recovery was quick and I’ve been very pleased with him and the entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Cooney!

I have never been to an orthopedic with such disregard with your issues. Dr Shah is not compassionate or interested in your problems. Does no recommend anything to even benefitting your situation. I have compartment syndrome drop feet and am missing muscle compartments. I was concerned by my flexibility, stiffness, and discomfort. His response to me asking if physical therapy would help was you dont even have those muscles, it wouldnt benefit you. I will say this, if you are looking for a doctor that is educated and concerned do not go here!

Dr pater gave me more then enough information about my procedure to make me feel comfortable about my surgery. He and his staff have been very professional. I hope I will never have to use him again but if I have to I will be using him again.

I fell at home and sustained one of the worst injuries one can have to my knee and leg. Fortunately Dr. Chaus was called in to perform the surgery. I am now working on rehabilitation and highly recommend Dr. Chaus and staff to anyone who has an injury. I love this place! Dr. Cooney, Eric and Matt all have provided me with excellent patient care. I had a knee replacement last May and scope surgery on my other knee in December both by Dr. Cooney and had excellent results. Dr. Cooney always explains all of my options. He also tells you the positive and negative so you can weigh your options. Dr. Cooney is extremely knowledgeable and makes me feel comfortable. I trust him fully.

Dr. Chaus re-built my leg on an emergency basis at Good Samaritan in Lafayette. I was taken to the ER on an icy day after being in a car accident. I am six months post op and walking better every day which is amazing because my leg felt like complete mush after the injury and there was nothing left of my knee to work with. Its not a fun situation, but Dr. Chaus did his job beyond. Kathy at the front desk was diligent about getting my insurance to cover everything they were supposed to. She was more kind than other offices I have dealt with after having 75+ insurance claims over this incident. I really appreciated her help

Friendly, professional, detailed, extremely talented and, caring. Dr. Cooney lets you know whats going to happen, how its going to happen and makes you feel comfortable about the entire process. The office staff was also friendly and fantastic. Dr. Cooneys PAs Sibyl and Eric are both at the top of their medical game. Not going to Front Range Orthopedic would be a huge medical mistake.

My husband, a 24 year old, had to have both hips replaced, at the same time. We couldnt have picked a better doctor than Dr.Cooney. I have been treated by WILLIAM P COONEY M.D. multiple times for injuries to my shoulder rotator cuff, neck injuries, and most recently for my right knee injury. Every visit was thorough with DR Cooney spending a lot of time explaining to me the procedures to be used. His advise was sound. His treatments were all successful, resulting in substantial pain removal. I have come to trust his analysis and treatment methodology. This is a caring, medically superior doctor that is professional in the highest degree.

Dr. Cooney helped get my wife back on her feet after an ACL tear and we were both very impressed by him and his standard of care. I’m currently seeing him for a knee issue of my own and I am very hopeful for a quick and correct resolution.
