Dr. Duplechain was excellent and caring. He recognized something other hearing specialist/ doctors have never brought to my attention.I went in for a hearing test as I have been wearing hearing aids for 15 or so years and it seems my hearing is getting worse. He didn’t try to blame it on the hearing aids getting weak and or just saying my hearing is getting worse like some do. He diagnosed me with otosclerosis.WOW I’m all my58 years and numerous ear issues no one ever mentioned that to me. He also recommended me and is assisting getting me an appointment with someone who maybe able to do a surgery to correct.I am super pumped about the possibility of hearing better and will post again after.I recommend if you have hearing issues you go see a doctor that doesn’t sell hearing aids as they make a ton of money selling them and maybe don’t think of other ways hearing may be improved.What ever the case go see DR. Duplechain for a fair and exceptional experience.The rest of the staff is super nice and I didn’t mean to put them last but I am so excited to hear something maybe able to done on a physical level besides just a new pair of hearing aids.Thanks again and I’ll let y’all know the final results.Sincerely,Brett Brown

This was my first visit to Dr. Duplechain. He is very personable. I will recommend him to friends and family. He is very competent. He took time to listen and helped me with my problem.The receptionist was very helpful and patient.Overall a great experience.

Dr. Duplechain and his office staff are the best ENT specialist in the business. From the moment you walk into the office to the time you leave, you are walked through your whole appointment and appreciated through your visit. Dr. Duplechain saved my husbands life. The front secretary always works with me on everything and the head nurse is the best. Any problem that pops up they work with you.

Dr. Duplechain and his team were a God-send when I unexpectedly needed to have surgery. He is smart, kind, listened to my questions with patience, and explained my situation in a way I could understand. Holly and Julie made me feel like I was truly taken care of in arranging appointments and coordinating with the hospital and my other doctors.

Dr. Gregory Duplechain was very informative and super helpful when I came in for my nasal congestion/sneezing issues! He’s very polite and made sure I was properly taken care of! The office staff was very nice as well!

Ok, WOW! Dr. Duplechain and his team are PHENOMENAL! So I had a really bad ear infection that sent me to urgent care twice. I’m talking sobbing in bed in the near fetal position cradling my ear. After two different ear drop prescriptions from urgent care I still had no relief, if anything my infection felt worse. I was in an incredible amount of pain and exhausted at the end of my rope trying to find some relief. I finally took a day off work frantically trying to find an ENT who would be willing to see me that day, calling offices and practically begging for an appointment. Dr. Duplechain’s nurses and receptionist were SO accommodating and got me in within an hour. The entire staff was incredibly attentive and kind, they could see I was in pain and made sure I felt welcome and as comfortable as possible until the doctor arrived. And Dr. Duplechain immediately knew how to help and even referred me to a local pharmacy that ended up saving me quite a bit of money on my prescription. Overall so impressed and SO APPRECIATIVE that this staff was willing to see me on such short notice. Within a couple days, I was feeling almost 100% back to normal.

My little girl decided it would be a bright idea to stick a color in her ear, so we brought her to the ER and they were unsuccessful to remove it. I simply googled ENTs in Lafayette, I know right just winged it! Well Dr Gregory came up and I’m so glad we chose him. He was amazing throughout the entire process and his team was wonderful as well!! It was our little ones first surgery and they made it a breeze for us! Highly recommend Dr Duplechain and the Park Place Surgical Hospital!

My five year old son had to have his tonsils and adenoids removed. This was the first time one of my children would be operated on, so I was obviously nervous. He and the staff we very calming, reassuring, but most of all understanding. He gave us the information and his recommendation, but let me and husband come to the decision in our own time.The staff is very friendly and always made my son feel like he was the most important patient. The doctor always greeted him first and spoke with him directly, which I greatly appreciated.My son just went in for his three week check up and is doing great. He no longer snores and his sleep apnea concerns are a thing of the past!I highly recommend Dr. Duplechain and his staff.

Excellent. Dr Duplechain has started me on the correct path to my facial/nasal pain relief that Ive been suffering with for over 12 years. Ive had sinus surgery, that didnt help, and been to several ENT Drs from Lafayette to Phoenix Arizona without any remedy except that they wanted to operate again. Dr Duplechain examined me, ordered 3 meds that I am taking by Neo-med inhaler device twice a day for the past month, and voila - no more sinus attacks and am breathing through the left nostril for the first time in many years and no pain.I highly recommend this Dr and goes to show you, our homegrown Drs are the best diagnosticians that dont immediately want to run for a scalpel for priority solution.Thanks Doc!!!!!

Super awesome ENT...went there to get my ears cleaned out and they treated me like family....they were all very courteous....I literally had to drive from baton Rouge to Lafayette just because of the price....the ents in baton Rouge are rip offs....if you need a really good respected and respectful ENT to go to,go to Mr Dr.Gregory Duplechain.....

I brought my 4 month old daughter to Dr Duplechain after noticing her breathing was abnormal. I was a very worried mother and his staff made me an appointment that very day. Dr Duplechain stayed after his clinic was closed just to see my daughter. He spent time with my husband and I and talked to us about her condition for at least a hour. He reassured us this was something she would grow out of and she would be okay. Words cannot express what this meant to my husband and I. I would rate Dr Duplechin and his staff 5 stars and will recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr. Duplechain and his staff are extremely kind, professional, and always made an effort to work around my crazy schedule. I had a freak accident with a dog and instantly knew something was wrong but my family and friends said I was overreacting - I woke up the next day with a huge black eye and throbbing pain coming from my nose. Dr Duplechain’s staff squeezed me in for an appointment, but the X-Ray showed no break. Dr Duplechain saw my crooked nose and bruises and believed me that something was wrong and ordered more tests. A CT scan revealed a very clear break on one side of my nose and we scheduled surgery for the next day. Dr Duplechain managed to fix my very broken/ crooked nose and made it perfect again! Overall wonderful experience and would definitely recommend!

My wife and I were so nervous to find out that our young son needed to have his tonsils removed. Dr. Duplechain and his staff did everything they could to put us at ease and make this stressful time easy for us. They were all so nice and willing to help us! Prior to this most recent incident, Dr. Duplechain performed 3 separate ear surgeries on my son for tubes. My son of 8 years old will even tell you he is the only Doctor you can trust. Recently my son had a defected foam earplug break off and lodge inside his ear at the ear drum. We brought our son to the OGH ER and the doctors gave no type of real pain relief for my son. They put what they called eye drops in my sons ear instead. They instead requested that we forcefully hold my son down and attempt to retrieve the foam. The ER doctor using forceps to pull the foam, scratched and cut my sons inner ear as my son screamed in pain with blood pouring from his ear. After a few hours of my sons pain and him falling in and out of sleep from exhaustion, the Dr. stepped back, looked at his nurse and said I cant do this. They discharged my son with the foam still in his ear and a prescriptions for ear drops for infection and antibiotics.We then contacted Dr. Duplechains office and found out they moved from Opelousas La to Lafayette La. We decided to make the drive to Lafayette for the Doctor that we have always trusted. Dr. Duplechain took a few moments to look into my sons ear and said due to his anxiety and fear from the events at the hospital and the pain he experiences from his inner ear, he felt it was best to sedate my son for a minor surgery to extract the foam. The night before surgery at home we asked our son if he was nervous. He said not really, I trust the Dr. We brought our son into the office on surgery day and was greeted with all smiles from the whole staff. Everyone treated my son like he was the greatest kid in the world and he felt that. I think he may have even been flirted with by a few nurses who noticed his obvious charm and good looks. Dr. Duplechain performed the surgery with precision and compassion removing the foam from his ear. Our son felt zero pain and woke up with a brand new teddy bear to cuddle. We could not be any happier with Dr. Duplechain and his amazing staff. Again for the 4th time he has proven why he is hands down one of the best Doctors to go to and has the most admirable workplace culture to trust with your perfect little angels. Thank you Dr. Duplechain and Staff for once again proving why you are the top of your professions and taking such great care of our little man. God Bless You.

I saw Dr. Duplechain a couple of months ago with sinus trouble. I had been to several doctors before but none of them could help me. After seeing Dr. Duplechain once he solved my problem. I cannot thank him enough. I would recommend him and his sincere staff.
