I had an all around positive experience for my couple of visits. Everyone there is very friendly. Dr. Baron is clearly very knowledgable and highly skilled, and has a delightful personality. I definitely recommend going to them for dental care.

Decent dentistry but the customer service is way off. I will try to find a new dentist before returning.

In support of others who have had a similar experience, this business has fraudulent practices. My daughter went in for a cleaning and they did additional services without explanation or approval of costs. The bill sent to insurance was over $2700. They wanted over $700 before she left. Even if they did perform the level of service they claimed (many of the services were unspecified), the insurance EOB said I owed much less, but they have not provided any credit after numerous calls, a BBB complaint, and insurance involvement. Beware of this business

Friendly and professional. AJ and Dino are terrific multi-taskers, oh, and they have invisiline here ( and an actual dentist ). Seriously, looking forward to my next visit...

I had a great experience. Treated me well and didn’t pressure me. Highly recommend!! Not overwhelming or super pricey. No hidden surprises either.

Terrible customer service. Put on hold for 9 minutes, never checked back in. Called back held for 6 minutes. Called back, NASTY receptionist told me she was with a CUSTOMER, to call back. That says it all, thought I was a patient but guess its all about the $. Too many choices to be treated rudely.

Dr. Tsang is a real gem! So happy to find a dentist of her caliber under my middling insurance plan. She was warm, kind, smart, clear and noticed things other dentists have missed. Pain was minimal. So grateful to her and her team. I will be coming back no doubt. Five stars for Dr. Tsang, four for the at times dated facility. They have some cutting edge ewpment but the chairs are literally the same kind they had at ever dentists office in the 90s. Almost turned me off but so happy I stayed for the excellent care and great prices.

I came in for an emergency root canal and Dino set me up that very morning. I was immediately treated by Dr Tsang, to relive the pressure and pain. I came back a couple of days later and was treated by Dr.Baring. Both Doctors and their wonderful assistants were compassionate and professional. The CAD/CAM technology was astonishing and really cut the amount of visits and process time to a minimum.

This is an UGLY place. Please DO NOT go to these people. These people are just for money. We should have stopped going to this place an Year ago. They are just looking after for their money. They complete the entire cleaning in 2 to 3 minutes each time and then they keep talking about DEEP cleaning for making DEEP money. We came back this morning from our cleaning appointments and decided NOT to go anymore to this place. Such a disgusting place. My son is supposed to have the cleaning done by these people on March 16th 2020 and we decided to cancel and go to some other place. We will NEVER go to these people again not even any Sister Branches. There are many nice and super Dentists in the world.

Dr Fox did an amazing job for me. She takes the time to listen and asks questions, so she get to know you and decide on what is the best treatment for you. Highly recommended this office. The staff is always friendly and they are very accommodating.. They are all a great team there. Excellent care and service.

I left this place after they constantly tried to convince me i needed one expensive procedure after another. I had an expensive crown done that only lasted 6 months. Im at a different dentist having that fixed. My wife used to go here too, but became sick of them telling her she needed work that our new dentist says is ridiculous.STAY AWAY

Terrific Dental Care! Many offices do not take Medicare (we have an AARP medicare replacement policy), but these folks do. We had to change Dentists a couple of times since retirement because they wouldnt take insurance. These folks are extremely good at making claims which get us the maximum coverage we can get. Their staff is courteous and professional.The dental care is top notch. My doctor here is very good. I have had a number of crowns and a root canal which was necessary to save several severely decayed teeth. They have helped me get into better habits to care for my teeth. The procedures were all done very professionally by very competent people. I am completely satisfied at the results. In every way they have exceeded my expectations and I cant speak highly enough of them. This is a GOOD dental care facility.They have an excellent credit card which allows us to pay for our care over a specific period of time without interest. Give them a try.

Great experience and everyone was super friendly. Highly recommended. They even said they were having a busy day and I barely had to wait at all. Everyone that I interacted with was knowledgeable and ready to answer my questions. As a new patient to the facility, it could not have been any better.

Brought my 2 year old here after a bad experience else where. We absolutely love the care we get here! They work well with my son to make sure he is comfortable with everything going on. And even remembered him from his 1st appointment. They are attentive and willing to answer questions. They dont take our insurance but its not an extreme amount of money to pay out of pocket. That being said its worth it! We will keep coming back! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist!

This place up charges and then offers a discount plan that makes it still more expensive than the average. they up charge you while in he dentist chair and even have a nice little charge pad at arms length to charge you right away. The quote for removing my sons wisdom teeth was twice as high as the place where we ended up getting it done.

Im really not sure what the one-star reviews could possibly be upset about other than their own mistakes. I received both an email and a text a week before the appointment confirming the date and time, and then another reminder email the day before making sure that I was going to show up. My appointment went off without a hitch. Staff was very friendly and efficient, recommendations on procedures were clear and appropriate.

This was my first visit to this dentist and Dr Tsang was wonderful. The whole process from check in to check out was easy and seamless. Dr Tsang listened to me and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this dental office.

Dentist dr tsang and baring are really knowledgeable and have a great touch. Very sensitive and truly care about the condition of your mouth. I highly recomend this place. Very clean and hygienic.. I will be visiting again for sure.

Although I havent been to the dentist in a long time, too long, Modern Smiles will be seeing me from now on and regularly. They were awesome! They took such good care of me!

Dr. Tsang was extremely knowledgable and caring. She made us feel very at ease. Dino is such a great manager. It makes such a difference when the people are nice to you.

Specifically, Dr. Tsang did a great job of making and installing a new crown to save my tooth. It is perfect! And in general, Dr. Tsang has done a great job of taking care of my teeth, while keeping the expense affordable! I highly recommend her!Additional Review: Crown on 1/24/19. My first experience was good. My 2nd was terrible. Its a scam. They treat you great for the first appointment to make you feel comfortable, 2nd visit I went for a cleaning. The dentist said you have much more wrong with your teeth than a cleaning. We can fix you today for $2500. I said no thank you because I do not have anything wrong with my teeth. I take very good care of them. So for my cleaning all they did was brush my teeth and floss and said ok $75.00. they didnt even scrap my teeth or anything. It was a rip off and not happy! No wonder they only have 3 star rating.

Stay away from Dr Tsang - she is extremely dishonest, definitely not to be trusted! And with numerous kind, honest dentists in the area, there is no need to waste your time or money here!

Ive had a very similar experience with Modern Smiles as Jada Singleton’s. I had an apportionment over the weekend. When I arrived they told me the doctor is not coming today and that she decided to ‘take the day off’ because they claimed that they did not hear back from me. All they sent was a general appointment reminder (not even to me) but to my wife’s email. Then they canceled it and never notified us. I have been waiting for the past month in pain only to find out (when I showed up to my appointment) that it was ‘canceled.’ When I called back to state that we did not receive emails other than the general appointment reminder, the receptionist (Tara) became rude, hostile and hung up the phone before even allowing me to ask questions about what really happened and why they canceled the appointment without notifying us of the cancellation. Called back to request that our xrays to be transferred to another office but they did not pick up.They got caught in a very blatant lie and they did not want to admit that it was their fault, but rather blame it completely on the patient, when in reality they just decided not to come into work that day because the weather happened to be nice out. So the heck with the patient! What a joke!>>> I do not recommend this place at all. They really do not care about their patients. There are plenty of great dentists around Lafayette. Thanks.
