I cannot say enough good things about this place. I had a filling come out (my own fault, love chewy candy) and they were able to schedule me the same day I called in. They are very efficient and the entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. I was also relived I was able to afford their care out-of-pocket. I will definitely be contacting them again in the future. I highly recommend Comfort Dental. Dentists and hygienists are reliable, thorough, knowledgable, and personable. The thing I appreciate the most about the practice is that theyve never attempted to up-sell me on services and treatments I dont really need. Ive had some disturbing experiences in this regard with other local offices, and have been relieved to find one where this has never been an issue.

I recently went to Comfort Dental to get my teeth cleaned for the first time in years. I told them going to the dentist had always been a difficult thing for me. I saw Tia...she was polite, helpful and supportive. She frequently asked me if I was doing ok and explained the process thoroughly.

Comfort Dental fitted me in and honored my insurance when another office turned me away. The dentist, hygienist and x-ray technician did an excellent job. I am very happy to have a new dental home in the area.

Dr. Stubbs is easy-going & friendly, he explains everything that hes doing and why, is efficient & thorough and checks on how youre doing. He uses please & thank you with his staff & wishes you a good day afterwards. For what it is, he & his staff make it as pleasant as possible.

If you have insurance with Purdue, DO NOT GO TO COMFORT! The service was fine, and I was done within 10 min. But their billing practice was very ambiguous and horrible. They billed basic services such as fillings as major services to the insurance, and the insurance would not cover the insured amount. NOT RECOMMENDED!Edit: Called the dental office, but no help. Again, if you have Purdue insurance, DO NOT USE COMFORT.

Had my first visit with Comfort Dental yesterday, and I must say how impressed I was with my experience! Everyone was super nice, which is a very refreshing gesture. I didnt feel like I was just a number or a patient going through their normal daily routine. I set up an appointment for a cleaning in less than a week, which is also very nice to not have to wait months like I did with a smaller dentist office.

Comfort Dental has been my preferred dentist for several years. I have never had any problems with any of the doctors, dental hygienists, and customer care staff. It is always very easy to schedule, reschedule, or cancel an appointment. The office does a great job of sending out reminders about appointments so I dont forget. As far as my experience getting my teeth cleaned: the hygienists are thorough, careful, and friendly. I have a few sensitive teeth and they always ask me before starting my cleaning how they are doing, and if they have been acting up they either put a paste on my gums to prevent the sensitivity or they are very careful around those teeth. The hygienists and doctors take enough time with their patients to answer any questions or to explain any concepts that need clarity.

I love Comfort Dental. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with warm smiles and all of the staff is willing to help you. Tia is my dental hygienist and she is incredible! She always does a very thorough job and makes me feel very comfortable.

This is the first dentist that I have been to for almost 25 years. I have been very impressed with the care that I received. Yesterday was my extraction day and I practically did not feel the injections for the gums that I received. Dr. Bruckner was able to explain as he went, so there was no surprises. Had my first visit today with Dr. Brucken and Leigh. Great experience. I have a lot of dental anxiety and they made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. I had 3 fillings and a crown and the whole visit was pain free. I have more work that needs to be done and now Im not nearly as anxious about it, which is pretty amazing for me. I would highly recommend Comfort Dental!

My bridge fell out and they got me in the very next day for repairs. They have always treated me well and carefully.

As always, Dr. Stubbs was gentle and considerate of my needle anxiety. He does such a great job that any Novocaine needles are barely noticeable! I am still in awe that a crown can be imaged and created right there in the office in no more time than it takes to read up on the news or delete the days incoming spam mail! No more mouth full of silly putty goo for an impression, followed by a week or two wait for crown delivery. The staff are all simply amazing and friendly! Thank you ladies!!

Fantastic experience. Called in on Friday and they accommodated me for a Monday afternoon appointment. I liked that the staff are friendly but not over friendly, if you know what I mean. Dr. Brucken suggested a filling redone and I went ahead. It was done in 30 minutes and no pain or sensitivity after. Very happy with the visit and price.

I also have bad teeth from some poor choices as a young adult and there has never been a hint of judgement from either dentist. Most recently, I was shocked by the completely pain-free root canal performed by Dr. Stubbs.Ive always been seen at or before my appointment time and the appointments are typically completed in less time than quoted. Theyve accepted every dental insurance Ive ever had, and offer financing options to help cover the costs not covered by insurance.The front office staff is friendly and professional and always make you feel welcome. All in all, I cant say I enjoy going to the dentist... But if you have to go, this is the place.

I was highly recommended by a friend to switch to Comfort Dental to get a second opinion about what dental work needed to be done. Dr. Stubbs gave me the option that I was praying for which was less invasive and would allow me to hold off on getting a crown. My appointment was at 1pm and they called me back to be seen at 1pm. Very impressed with the friendly front desk staff and the experienced hygienists that make dental procedures flow so effortlessly. Dr Stubbs explained every step that he was doing during the procedure and made sure everything felt right before letting me check out. I appreciated the professionalism displayed at Comfort Dental and look forward to working with them again.

I had to find a dentist quickly, for some excruciating tooth pain. I contacted 3 different practices in the area. These folks were able to see me that day, and gather the necessary X-rays. When it was finally time to remove the problem tooth, Dr. Randall Brucken came in, began his work, and was done in no more than 10 minutes. This man is the real deal.I’m leaving this review the same day as the surgery, with 0 pain, I repeat, 0 PAIN! No pain meds necessary, only a small amount of Tylenol and ibuprofen. He respected my fear of needles, and simply asked me to close my eyes when he was about to use one. I will surely return to him with any additional dental work in the future. I would recommend those of you reading this to go in and make a visit. See for yourself.

My son has special needs, and Comfort Dental still is able to work around his schedule. They give him a thorough cleaning even though he has a strong gag reflex.

I had the best experience!! I was in so much pain and needed to be seen right away. And I am pregnant witch makes the pain 10 times worse. After calling many other dental places I gave in and called my ob they recommend comfort dental. I called and explain my situation and they told me to come on in right then. I get so nervous when it comes to going to the dentist.. but I felt so comfortable as soon as I walked in. They were very welcoming. I didnt even have to wait long at all. And they were so nice and understanding. I didnt even have to wait long on the Doctor either. He was ver nice and respectful and really helped me understand what my problem was... I have a son with autism, he has struggled with his teeth his whole life. Our battles over his brushing has in the past negatively impacted our relationship. He is almost 18 now, this is an on going problem. How we both loathed dental appointments he would leave feeling like garbage, I would leave feeling like the worst parent ever. That all changed when we were referred to Comfort Dental, he leaves hearing the positive praise, focusing on how he has improved instead of what he still needs to do. Our appointments, husband and mine, were for routine cleanings. We both experience some anxiety before and during the appointments. The hygienist are wonderful, caring, patient and cognizant of how a routine appointment is impacting us. They do a super job! Great customer service.

My mother and I have been going to Comfort Dental for years while weve been living in Lafayette. Unfortunately, I am exceptionally disappointed in this dentist after my mothers insurance recently changed. Dr. Brucken refused to see her on the day of a scheduled appointment when he heard her insurance would not cover this location anymore. My mother even said she would pay out of pocket entirely for her cleaning that day. The office staff was also not kind after this interaction.If you care about the oral care of your patients, this definitely isnt how they should be treated.

I recently had my first appointment with Tia for my check up. Then a crown popped off and a month later I needed a crown on another tooth. Dr Stubbs and all the staff were wonderful. Yes I recommend their entire staff!

Dr. Brucken is the best dentist Ive ever been to. He takes the time to explain everything he is doing, he is gentle - often apologizing if there is pain (i.e. while fixing a cavity), and he is thorough. His dental assistants are kind, courteous, responsive, and helpful.

I was satisfied with my service with Dr. Stubbs . He fixed my front tooth and gave me good recommendation for future treatment (cosmetic) . The other staff (Diana) was also nice and kind.

I scheduled appointments for my boyfriend and me on the recommendation of more than 10 coworkers, most in my own department at Purdue. I have anxiety about going to the dentist. My experience was wonderful. The woman who took my x-rays chatted with me during the process to make me comfortable, and I dont think I waited more than 2 minutes for Dr. Brucken to come in after she was done. At my old dentist I would sit in the chair for a long time waiting to see my dentist. I noticed that all of the appointments coming in and out were prompt. Dr. Brucken reviewed my paperwork in front of me, and asked me some questions, and acknowledge my significant other. I will definitely look forward to going back here.

The best dental practice in all of Lafayette! Exceedingly good at what they do and also affordably priced. I usually go to Dr. Stubbs but saw the other Dr. once when I had a time crunch and Dr. Stubbs was not available. The other Dr. is just as good! So happy to have found them and will not go anywhere else.

The dentist refused to allow a regular cleaning; instead wanted to sell a payment plan for an expensive SRP procedure. The reason given was that when he had diagnosed periodontal disease, but the patient opted to get a regular cleaning, the ADA would get on his case if they inspected!!From the tentative research I did, it looks like more and more dentists are recommending the SRP and refusing regular cleaning; I guess regular cleaning does not generate enough revenue these days.So, what if the patient is not in a position to sign up for the SRP and instead wants just a regular cleaning done? And what does it mean when the dentist says regular cleaning is useless? the very biannual regimen that for years and years ADA had these dentists recommend that people got?

The Dr asked if I needed additional medicine for the sensitivity since I have very sensitive teeth and was helpful.

If you are looking for a new place for your dental needs, I highly recommend Comfort Dental. Both dentists, Dr. Brucken and Dr. Stubbs, are very nice, and the hygienists and staff are amazing. I see the same dental assistant/hygienist every time I am there for my cleaning - Cindy Marin. She is fantastic, and makes the whole process a painless (physically and emotionally) experience. :-) Dr. Brucken is my dentist, and I cannot recommend him enough, either. I really have had nothing but good experiences with all of the staff there. If youre looking for a place that will ease your anxieties about dental care, this is the place. I mean, no one loves going to the dentist, but if you can go and have a good experience there, that makes it all the better. :-)

I had pretty good experience there (filling), and the cost was moderate (less than I had expected).

I had not been to the dentist in years prior to coming to Comfort Dental and I have anxiety, especially when it comes to anything medical-related. Not only is the staff here incredibly kind and compassionate, but they genuinely care about your comfort and experience (Ive never been to a dentist with a more accurate name!) I required two fillings, but it was an incredibly painless encounter (my fear of needles was completely vanquished), and they are always able to work around my schedule. Not only that, but they are incredibly willing to answer questions and show you your x-rays to indicate where problems are and discuss them without recommending extraneous or unnecessary services like previous dentists I have visited or heard about. I wouldnt go anywhere else, honestly. Dr.Brucken and my hygienist are absolutely awesome! Im so glad to have found a great dentist in Lafayette!
