Ive been seeing Dr Christina for about 7 years. At first it was for acute pain, but it wasnt long before I was feeling better. Because of the stress of my job, it made sense for me to see her on an ongoing basis for good health maintenance. I have been seeing Christina for a few months now and I am so thankful. I came in with a very un-unique story. I used to work in the City had walked a minimum of 3 miles a day just for the commute alone (walking back and forth from bart) to now walking barely half a mile a day around the house. Not getting out as much and forming really bad work habits.My sedentary life and I think the stress of the year itself had me convinced I was less motivated to work out as much. I grew out of shape and I knew getting back to my active lifestyle would help me but I couldnt seem to get over the hump and was in a horrible loop of trying to be more active and then injuring myself immediately for random things. I remember not even being able to bend over to bathe my dog without injuring my back and being uncomfortable sitting, standing or walking for a week or two.Fast forward to today and I have not injured myself since May, Im feeling more energetic and am more in tune with my ergonomics at work. Most importantly, Im able to keep up with my two large dogs and take them out as much as they need.What I loved about the process from the start is that Christina didnt give me any types of intuition diagnosis. She showed me my x-rays and asked me what I saw. She let me know what kind of behaviors would cause it and it all checked out for I had known all the bad habits I had formed. Rivulet is a lifesaver! We moved away and it had been over a year since my last adjustment. I’m 35 weeks pregnant and facing all the ailments of being in my third trimester along with the normal strains of life. My body felt so much better even after one adjustment! Having a physically demanding job, getting massages was a temporary fix for the fatigue and soreness. After a few weeks of adjustments, I realized I was sleeping better and had little to no pain after a hard day at work. Everything moved easier and gave me more energy to get back into hiking. Getting help for all my back pain has been a long time coming and I am so happy that I have chosen to go with these guys. I love Rivulet!! I am a 23 year old with no prior injuries or accidents and I started getting adjusted when I began my full time desk job which lead me to sit for many hours out of the day with slight back pain that was distracting to me. Ive seen five chiropractors in the last 12 years or so. Four of the five were quite good but Dr. Christina is the only one that kept my neck feeling good without me seeing her! I started coming here due to consistent and debilitating chest pains that I had been suffering from for about the last 4 years. I had seen all sorts of doctors and specialists and no one could tell me what was wrong. I stopped by Rivulets booth at the Lafayette Art & Wine festival last year and participated in the free spine check they were offering. All the pressure along my spine was centered in my chest! With the help of Dr. Christina I have been able to return to my gym workouts and have started running again, mostly pain free. We still have work to do until my chest pains completely disappear, but being here has finally given me hope that its possible they will eventually go away. My lower back and hip discomfort made it uncomfortable to sit, walk & run. With the chiropractic adjustments I have noticed a big change because I rarely think about the discomfort on a day-to-day basis like I used to.
