Dr. B is awesome. Me and my family have been going to him for almost 10years. He has helped me through various low back, hip, and even elbow issues (tennis elbow / radial nerve). In addition to chiropractic adjustments, he also does active-release to work out tough muscle/nerve issues. I always feel like he is willing to do whatever it takes to help me feel better. He engages me on my overall health and includes me in the decision making about what we will do each time we get together. He offers thoughtful advice on stretching and exercise as well as lifestyle modifications. He is patient and kind and I am grateful to have his help when my body breaks down!

Wonderful clinic in Lafayette. Chris has really helped me address issues with my neck and back caused by COVID and the general woes of sedentary life in an office chair. He has a great rapport, and does a great job of consulting with patients and tailoring treatment to their specific needs. He also integrates, e-stim, massage, and active release with his adjustments as necessary. Highly recommend.

Dr. Beckman listened thoroughly and asked plenty of questions. His hands-on assessment pinpointed all the issues we discussed. The adjustment and the active release he did was spot on. Its been a long time since Ive walked out of any therapy feeling this good this quickly. I even have a set of simple instructions to remember to help with my shoulder inflammation and some basic exercises to strengthen and lengthen the trouble muscles. Village Chiropractic & Massage - Dr. Chris is always on time. The office environment is perfect and the office is immaculate. Dr. Chris reevaluates you each time. He asks questions on how the last treatment worked for me and if I have had any changes. His adjustments were perfect and so was the ART - Deep Tissue work. He is really helping me. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Beckman’s for about a month now and my experience there has been SO great. I originally found Village Chiropractic because I was looking for something local where I could be seen asap (I had waited far too long to see someone and had lost most of my range of motion in my neck and I was having terrible pain in my lower back) but I never expected to get so lucky! It’s easy to make an appointment, you can be seen quickly (usually within the week but most of the time within a matter of days), I feel cared for and listened to when I’m there, and I really feel TREATED by the time I leave. And it doesnt stop there... You get customized follow-up emails as soon as your appointment is over and his office uses an app that you can download on your phone to keep track of the exercises and stretches you should be doing at home between sessions.I can’t stop recommending him to my friends - hes professional, he knows his stuff, and the experience is top-notch. Everyone should see him. 😄

Dr. Chris has completely saved my back! I started seeing him about two months ago when my lower back gave out and I couldnt move. Since Ive started seeing him my pain has completely disappeared and I can move again. I was very skeptical of chiropractors, but Dr. Chris has made every step of my healing journal easy and relaxing. Ive been consistently seeing Dr Beckman for some lower back issues as well as general spinal manipulation and postures. He has been a tremendous aide in alleviating some of my problems as well as teaching me about my back and how it all works together. He is knowledgeable and attentive as well as nice! I always leave feeling refreshed and empowered to work on my posture or back issues with the various exercises he teaches me! He is also very willing to work with various insurances!

I went to Dr. Beckman on a whim based on reviews and, well, availability several weeks ago when I threw out my back terribly. I knew from a previous occurrence years before that a chiro is what I needed. Within 3 sessions, I was upright with mobility much improved. His complete approach (starting with PT tens unit or massage chair before session, to providing strengthening exercises after) really considers short term and long term remedies.

My chiropractor was out of town and I had done something to cause a spasm in my piriformis. Dr. Beckman got me in for a same-day appointment on a Saturday and was able to get me adjusted so I was almost pain-free!

Dr beckman has successfully been treating my migraines for about a year. He is flexible and always squeezes me in when i need to see him and more than once he has eradicated a migraine that Ive walked in with. He is magic.

Dr. Beckman is the man!!! I broke my wrist a few years ago, and because of that, my wrist hurt continuously and would make my whole lower arm go numb whenever I picked up anything substantial. I went to Dr. Beckman, hoping he could fix that. Within four-session, my wrist feels 100% better, and Im no longer having the numbing sensations in my wrist and lower arm whenever I pick up something heavy.

Dr. Beckman is a very good chiropractor. He’s especially good at isolating and diagnosing problems. He has always used a variety of techniques on me when I’ve visited him. I initially started seeing him 5 years ago due to rib subluxations which eventually went away. Now I go in for routine maintenance or when I have something hurting me. Highly recommend.

I’ve been dealing with my bad back since I was 18 years old after an injury. I’ve seen several Chiropractors over the years and Dr. Beckman is one of the best I’ve ever seen. He has put me together on a bunch of different occasions. There have been times when I could barely get in and out of my car, and he was able to get me up and moving again. My wife has been seeing him as well, and she usually doesn’t trust anyone with her back. I even trust him with my kid. I haven’t seen anyone better in the area.

Dr. Beckman is a knowledgeable and competent chiropractor. He has really helped me with various sport injuries that were very painful for me. So happy that I found him. I was in severe pain when I saw him for the first time. His treatment has gotten me through this painful injury. I will continue to see Dr. Beckman on a maintenance basis. You won’t be disappointed having him treat you for chiropractic care. I might add I had a chiropractor for 15 years in Oakland. I never thought I could find someone as good as her but I did and Dr. Beckman surpassed all of my expectations.

I walked in with lower back pain, not exactly sure the cause (there wasnt a memorable event), but leaning over forward was extremely painful. The pain was always worse in the morning, less so later in the day...but very, sore and uncomfortable. I went to see Dr. Beckman, and after a survey and a few minutes examination, came up with a solution. He was able to complete the therapy there, sent me home with exercises, and explained what to expect over the next few days. It happened just as advertised...there was immediate relief, then after sleeping it would be worse, but continue to do exercises...within a week, probably 95% better when I went back for a follow up session. At this point, I dont think any other sessions are necessary. Super convenient, nice office to visit, took my insurance no problem. Everything, very easy.

I have been going to Dr. Beckman since 2013, first for an intractable hip problem that I had been dealing with for 4 years. Dr. Beckman cured that hip problem! Ive been a devotee ever since. He works magic! I have referred many of my friends to him. Hes so good at diagnosing and treating a problem that it never takes more than a couple of treatments to resolve the issue. I cant praise him enough!

Beware! After 3 visits in Jan, 2019 to relieve sciatic nerve pain Dr. Beckman ruptured a disc in my spine requiring major spine surgery on May 3. The surgery involved cutting open my abdomen, removing my intestines and setting them aside, proceeding to my spine, removing the ruptured disc with a plastic cage containing cadaver bones, screwing on a steel plate and rods, exiting my body, replacing my intestines, stitching me up and turning me over. Two incisions on my back spine, more rods and screws, stitching me up. It has been utter hell. The ruptured disc exploded over my sciatic nerve causing agony for 5 months before I could have surgery. I repeatedly told Dr. Chris to be less aggressive as I had a fragile back but he did not heed my warning.

I have a problem at my S1 L5 Lumbosacral Joint. I was hit many years ago playing rugby. I work out try to keep my core strong. However occasionally the joint pinches nerves and causes muscle flare ups and tremendous tightness and pain. Occasionally this is debilitating. I see Dr Beckman regularly to adjust the joint to relieve nerves that cause the tightness and pain. He literally unlocks the joint And get immediate relief. I’ve been seeing Dr Beckman for 6 years. Highly recommend him!
