Ashley got me in for a last minute cut and color and i am absolutely in love with it!Hadn’t gotten my hair professionally done in quite a while, and it looks so refreshed and healthy now. I had about 50 layers of box dye on my hair, and she was able to even it out and make it feel healthier.First pic is before, purple shirt is after.

Tera is great! She cuts my hair the way I like it while still inputting advice with her many years of experience. Great cut for a great price. Honestly she should charge more for this quality of cut.

Love this salon! It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. My hairstylist Bailey was amazing and I enjoyed bonding with her over our obsession of cats.Very professional, and lovely atmosphere. ( I did a root touch-up and toned it more cool looking.) Before and after.

Bailey and Brenna were absolutely great, but I will never allow Shawna to do my hair ever again. She was borderline violent, and it got worse at the end when she started to get a little bit stressed because they had a lot of clients to help that day. I totally understand having some anxiety about a busy day, but you dont take that out on paying customers who were very nice the entire time. This included yanking out knots (with gusto... to say the least), yanking out foils, and shampooing with with much scratching and too much force. Force does not equal speed, lol. I have a very high pain tolerance, especially when it comes to my head, since Ive always had long hair and have been yanking it around my whole life, but I am legitimately SORE after my appointment today. At one point when blow drying my hair, she even got a bit distracted and burned my neck. Though, I do admit that I love the way my hair turned out, and I will 100% love to go back and have an appointment with Bailey or Brenna (I think there is another stylist, but they werent there today). Brenna was even just a trainee who helped out with different stages of the process, but I would much rather have had Brenna just do the whole thing because at least she didnt hurt me... lol.

After a dyeing semi-disaster, I made an appointment with Darci and was able to be seen within 1 hour of making the appointment. My hair was a mess of yellow, orange, blue, and green. Darci was able to get the exact shade of green I was originally going for and even gave me tips on how to maintain my color. Love these girls and makes me happy that I found somewhere that appreciates color.This color brings out my green witch vibes. Love it so much!

I got my haircut here twice. The first time the haircut was good. The second time they did a terrible job. Basically the stylist cut my hair really short on the sides and did not bother to blend it. I was not going to say anything and wait till it grew back to go elsewhere. However, this haircut is so bad everyone I see asks me what is wrong with my hair and I have to explain that they messed me up at this hair salon; it is really annoying. If you plan to go here, do realize its a flip of a coin.

It took more than three years to grow my hair out from the last haircut I got at a different salon. I was hoping to walk out from eclectic hair salon with my ideal haircut and style. I was assured the hairstyle I showed the stylist would be attained. But I think she just did what she wanted,and what was quicker for her. I spent $40 of my birthday money on a haircut, and would like to have been more content with the results. I hope in the future, that no matter what time youre doing your job, that you will do it as if its for you, or someone you care about. I submit this with respect, and hope it makes a good difference. We had an amazing time today with Genevieve! She did a beautiful job on me and my friends hair. Im excited to have met her and even more excited to hopefully do the prism hair color design! I came in for a keratin treatment. I couldnt find any pros. I have stated all the cons of getting it done at Eclectic.1. My appointment was for 4 hours. And they finished the treatment in 1.5 hrs.2. I had a wait time of 30 mins before being called in.3. The keratin treatment is supposed to stay for 8 weeks. My hair went to its normal frizzy curly state in THREE days JUST after ONE WASH while I was promised that it would stay smooth for 8 weeks minimum.I paid 100$ for the stylist to spray keratin on my hair and straighten it while thinking it will stay for 8 weeks. I could have done the same at home and get the same effect for three days. I felt cheated and mistreated. I went to this place because the reviews were really good, but clearly, the reviews dont match their service.Disappointed with Eclectic Lafayette Salon.

This place is really nice and clean. I dont know if the girl was new, or what, but she royally messed up my hair. She left it super choppy, even after repeatedly asking her to smooth out my layers so they flowed better. Kept blaming it on my highlights. I would point out several places where it was chunky and uneven compared to other spots. She wasnt very receptive. Needless to say, I was very dissatisfied with the experience.

First time getting my hair cut in Lafayette! Since moving to this town a few months ago, I havent had anything done to my hair (and Im not someone who likes to do much to my hair).After a few weeks of deliberation, I decided to chop off my really long locks and go for something a little...drastic. I looked around online for places in town, got a few suggestions and finally decided to give this place a go. They have two branches - one on campus and one just off Main Street. The one on campus has been around for years and has tons of reviews, but this branch has only been in existence since around 2018. Seeing as not many people have been here (or maybe they have and just havent reviewed it), I decided to give it a shot and write about my experience.Getting an appointment was fairly easy. Called the day before and they were able to fit me in. I did try their online booking system and tried to get an appointment as a guest but could not (looks like they wanted me to create an account which I didnt want to do).Genevieve (I hope I spelled that right) was my stylist. Shes very polite, professional and listened to my ideas/thoughts very patiently. She takes her time with your hair and tells you what shes going to do before proceeding, which I really like in a stylist.I went from having hair that was about halfway down my back to shoulder length hair. The cut, plus wash + blow-dry + some styling cost me $40 (without tip).Would I go back? Yes!

****update***** you can see my former review below. The color washed out of my hair after one wash. No shampoo or conditioner, just water. I also purchased a colored shampoo from them. I’ve been in 3 times now and each time they tell me they don’t have it ready. Was told they’d call me when it was ready. Still haven’t received a call. I’m honestly just done at this point.***former review*****Genevee did amazing!! I went to another salon the day before and they did not get me the color I wanted. I went here and Genevee did an awesome job making sure I left happy with amazing hair! I would definitely recommend her.

Shawna does a fantastic job coloring my hair. I always get compliments on it!Love coming to the downtown salon. Easy to get to and always able to find parking.

This was hands down the BEST hair experience of my life. As a result of being emotionally unstable I ruined my hair I home. Box hair dye-diy, hot mess, DiSaStEr was on my head. I had lost all hope in fixing it myself because it looked terrible so i made an appointment at 11pm to have them fix my hair the VERY NEXT DAY. Nearly no wait to make an appointment which was awesome for my hair that even a hat couldn’t make look better. The next day 3 AmAzInG women entered my life. The receptionist Carly was super sweet and understanding and made check in and payment at the end a breeze. Darci, a true hair goddess, was DETERMINED to make me look and feel beautiful. Geneveve was an amazing help as well as my hair was such a wreck it took there combined 20+ years of hair skill to fix my mess. They were funny and sweet and they straight up SAVED my hair. I left feeling confident and beautiful when i literally came in with a good on my head. They made sure i was happy and taken care of and it was EXTREMELY reasonable in price. They did heavenly work and full transparency it was the most inexpensive salon experience I have ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be returning. Literally the best day I have had in months.

I have gone to this place several times before and had no issues but this time was terrible. I had to wait half an hour with no apologies. I also showed Shanna a pic of what I wanted done but she scalped me instead. I will never go back to this place again
