Nothing compromised in the quality and freedom offered to members and their guest. Outstanding affordability and transparency of the gyms policys and contract is never offset by bad experiences. The quality is in refrance to a wonderful customer experience from staff that nurture a welcoming environment. Top notch health machines and programs available with accessable coaches. The Freedom to come and go as often or as little as you want without even one scornful look (not really) is, as we all know, the kind of freedom that makess it easy to stay!

This is an interaction review.. 8/26/21I believe a business is defined by its interaction with their customers and their customer service skills.It is not often a business goes above and beyond in todays world.I must brag on ny recent experience with a billing issue that was bogged by automatic computer generated messages and some inexperienced staff for the depth of the matter, however all sources referred me to speak to a MGR.When I did reach out to Asia, Manager at the Lacey, WA facility, she was calm, precise and knowledgeable concerning my issue.Her response was a GOLD STANDARD in customer service matters and I feel she went above & beyond to explain what could and could not be done, and to exercise her priority to take care of the matter in a way that resonated my value as a customer with her facility and the way she represented the chain.I appreciate being valued for choosing this facility on my fitness journey.Thank you for helping me feel valued and appreciated.Its the simple things.WAY TO GO ASIA.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

This was not taken after the mask mandatePlanet fitness in Lacey has been one of my favorite to experiences mainly do to the staff that works there. Theyre very friendly incredibly knowledgeable and their customer service is outstanding. The gym is clean The equipment is wealth maintained and functioning. And the environment is welcoming and true to its non-judgmental mission statement that planet fitness promotes. Im happy with the reinstatement of PE at PF classes. Which are a great motivator to get me into the gym.

Very friendly place, always a good work out with no disturbance. Good wide selection of workout stations and very clean. Guest policy is very cool as well, but wish there could be an option for adding family members like your wife, kids, etc. without having to open separate accounts for each one. Like all on one account and one bill. That way I can bring my wife, two daughters, and son.

It’s an okay gym if you’re not picky like me. PF has smith machines but no free-weight bar racks which is a deal-breaker for me, and their weights don’t go very heavy. I’d say it is a gym oriented more toward beginners.If you’re the occasional gym goer it’ll work. For $10/ month– $25 for Black Card (which has good perks)– you get a lot IF YOU ARE NOT PICKY like me.It is a good place to start your fitness journey. I’ve been exercising for 8 years or so so I know what works and what doesn’t. Unfortunately PF doesn’t have what I need :/.

Well I can say that my experience at this planet fitness is amazing the staff there are awesome and the atmosphere there is good infack it the best planet fitness I have ever been to. I was 500lbs at one point at the time of this review I am down to 384 and if it was not for the friendly staff and the open atmosphere I think for myself that it could have been a more challenging experience. Thank you so much planet fitness.

I love this gym!! Even in comparison to other PF locations, the spirit here has always been so positive, accepting, and encouraging. Getting to have access to a personal fitness trainer with my membership is HUGE! I don’t know of any other gym that does that. Also, tanning, massage, and red light therapy...I mean, come on you’re not going to find a better value! I’ve really enjoyed getting to work with Rusty the trainer at this location! He’s awesome!!

My husband and I started coming to this gym almost 2 months ago. We were with L. A. Fitness for about a decade and this gym is more personable and friendlier. The night time staff are awesome! We really like Joey and Sara, and Daniel! They make the place very comfortable and it’s a very clean gym and locker room.

It’s ok if your thing is cardio- the building is filled with machines. For such a large facility they have 3 whole weight benches though and 3 smith machines. They are constantly full to the point you have to swoop on them like a vulture. The rest of the weight room area is filled with people using weights on the sides of the wall. Definitely needs to improve free weight lifting opportunities. It sucks to not reach fitness goals due to a poor layout.Edit response: even when the crowd meter is low, gym members congregate and clog up the free weight area. There’s obviously demand, just not enough inventory. My last PF had 8 weight benches, not 3 to help with volume.

PF Lacey is great! 😊💜 During this difficult time, staff have stepped up and provided quality service and clean facilities. On busier nights, wait time wasn’t bad (10-15min) with text notifications capabilities. Machines and equipment for the most part are usable. The staff is super friendly and helpful with different amenities.Y’all, keep up the good work! Looking forward to my next session.

This is a great place, pretty cheap, clean and associates have an excellent customer service. I always find machines to do my exercises. Totally recommend it.

Most of the time the gym is great. If you come early in the morning 4am-5am your more than likely to be greeted at the front door lately with employees smoking cigarettes and making the entrance smell horrible. The paper towel dispensers out and trash cans over flowing. But most the time its pretty good. I come almost every day of the week but most the time early.

It would be nice if they had a larger variety of equipment, but it is one of the nicer Planet Fitness clubs.

Ive had such a great time exercising at this location with my friends. Ive only been a member for a few weeks but I already feel amazing. Ive found the staff to be very helpful.

I really enjoy coming here for cardio and that its open 24hrs. Not the greatest for trying to do a full body workout with lack of equipment and more people on the machines all the time. Overall this is a fantastic place to workout...

Always friendly when we walk in, clean environment, parking lot looks full but have never had to wait for a machine or anything!

The staff is amazing and friendly. There is a nice variety of equipment. There are a few worn down pieces as some of the black card amenities that have been broken for a while.

I am absolutely in love with this gym. I first started coming to this location back when they first opened the store in Lacey. It has an extremely welcoming and friendly environment. I love the no intimidation, no judgment rules. I know that I have gone to gyms before with really loud people, hooting and hollering while loudly dropping weights. That can be a fun environment for them, but for me, I prefer a more relaxed, calmer environment.. this gym is absolutely perfect for that. Its never too crowded, open 24/7. The locker/bathroom are spacious with plenty of area for privacy.I am a black and member, and the $20 instead of $10 a month is absolutely work it! I like to go for a tan after my work out, and then the red light bed after that. I then will sometimes use the hydo bed or massage chair. Not to mention it allows you to bring a friend along for a work out as well for FREE. It doesnt have to be the same friend each time either. There are just tons of options.This gym also has an app that you can use to check in. This app is awesome! No only can you use it to track your work outs, but they also have step by step videos that you can watch to ensure you are using the equipment properly.Hands down my favorite gym, I will always continue coming back to Planet Fitness.Side note.. purple is my favorite color. Lol

I came here today with my sister as her guest and the girl the front desk was super friendly helpful and professional it was my first time here and I enjoyed my workout definitely a clean place as well the bathrooms were clean no trash overflowing it wasnt that busy either maybe becuase it was the weekend but had a great experience considering changing my own membership to plant fitness instead

Came in to re-join and if it wasn’t for me wanting to work out I would cancel immediately solely based on the treatment I received from the front desk staff. I called ahead to ask about re-joining and she put me on hold without saying anything at all. Upon arriving She seemed irritated with me and in helping me sign back up. Made a pretty rude comment as well so I’m just a bit disappointed in how unprofessional my sign up experience was. Great gym otherwise!

No matter how many staff are standing around the front, no one is enforcing masks in the gym. Everyday I go, more and more people take their masks off entirely and work out within 10 - 6 of myself and others. Look at Rustys review from last week. You cant miss it, it has a pic working out in the Lacey PF gym no mask in sight. PF didnt even mention this in their reply to the review. I cancelled my membership. Bummer.

The gym itself is a great place to workout, but the staff are not very pleasant. The only team member that is attentive and kind is the young lady who is expecting. (The Westside location, not the Lacey location.)

The gym is clean. Restrooms are also clean. Staff is courteous and there’s plenty of sanitizer along with paper napkins available. People working out are respectful of maintaining space and keeping a mask on for the most part. The cardio equipment is nicely spaced out and clearly marked. I was really pleasantly surprised. Great gym, I’ve already recommended this gym to my coworkers and friends.

I have been trying to cancel my account for since June, paid my account off, sent in a physical letter requesting a cancel and STILL am being charged months later. I sent an email confirming my letter and my account payments - instead of cancellation or telling me I needed to send another letter, I am just walking up to charges being taken out.

Its a cheap gym. They make it practically impossible to cancel your membership. You either have to write a letter to the actual location you sign up at or go in person.... and the employees act like they would rather be anywhere else in the world.

I enjoy this gym because it is close to my home. The facility is clean (even before the shutdowns), has training, friendly staff and everything I need (dont need pool, courts, etc). And the membership is very affordable.

Whether some locations are fully open or not, its not smart to exercise with a mask on all the time. Members should be able to take their mask off when actively working out... its annoying being bothered when your in the middle of a heavy set breathing hard and someone tells you to pull your mask up. Yeah I get some people can exercise and keep their mask on but its also not smart breathing in non recycled carbon air but then again Im not from this state lol.

Planet Fitness is a wonderful gym to work out at. They have something for everyone, no matter the membership type. You truly dont feel judged if you arent in the best of shape, but are trying to be. All their staff are extremely helpful, compassionate, and patient. They will do what they can to help you understand the equipment, an exercise, layout of the gym and even how their Black Card membership amenities work. Overall, Planet Fitness is a positive environment where you can peacefully workout and never feel judged, no matter where you are in your fitness journey.

They keep this place wicked clean, which is important to me during covid-19. Friendly, respectful staff. Definitely recommend this place. pro tip, sign up at the new Olympia location though. You can get black card for less than $20 a month, and then come use it at this club.

But thats good and not so good on certain things.Edit: Since you have reached out to me i will explain the pros and cons.Pros ~large floor size, Many cardio machines, tanning with the black card, and the message chairs are cool. Also its 24 hours. Hmm, the guy at the counter was friendly. Also the personal trainer is a good addition.Cons ~ There are in addition annual fees, there is no real sanitary supplies in the bathroom or locker room, there is not enough free weights, and not large enough free weights, its a beginners gym not a professionals gym. Hmm a spa and or sauna would be a beautiful addition tbh.

Havent been in but I think once this pandemic is over I will think about membership and guidance from this particular location.

My friend is a member (Im not) & she took me here once late night/early morning & while she was using the tanning bed I used the hydro-massage chair.. it was amazing.

Staff is friendly I recommend using the app to know how busy the gym is.

This location is always clean, very helpful and personable staff. The stand up tanning beds are amazing, as well as the hydro massage. Gym massage and tanning and one for 25 bucks a month cant beat it.

Even on the cardio machines you have to wear a mask at all times. hardly anyone does cardio anymore here bc its so hard to breathe with a diaper on your face. as recently as three months ago, (Nov 2020), that wasnt a requirement. Would cancel but id probably have to pay the 40 dollar fee to sign up again if/when restrictions lighten up. wish theyd just stay closed so i wasnt getting charged monthly. Update 3/2/21: theres now a sign that says masks are required even while exercising. I wasted my time coming back for this based on what the comment from owner said

I think its a great gym. All the equipment anyone could want, great variety of free weights too. Several separate areas with yoga mats for your personal workouts. Very helpful staff. Open, airy, well ventilated.

The PF in Lacey is wonderful. The staff is very helpful and polite and welcomes everyone. It’s always clean and organized as well. I feel comfortable going any time of the day either alone or with a group. Planet Fitness is a great place to workout but the Lacey location is my favorite.

In other cities I very much enjoyed this gym and the people there. It was a good experience. I came to the Lacey gym and it has not been a good experience at all. After the pandemic began I decided to drop my membership and then the dance began. They began to charge me for all kinds of things since they said they were open when in fact so many people were not comfortable going to the gym yet. I tried to find a corporate phone number and none existed. I asked for the managers information and they said she does not have a phone she is too busy. Whoever the ownership of this gym is they are scam artists. They are going to charge you for anything and never let you out. I am filing a complaint with Thurston County district attorney for fraud. Be careful. A good national chain but the group that owns this one are very unethical.

The gym has all equipment I needed. It is also very clean with very hospitable staff

Its friendly and clean. The staff is not judgmental. Some facilities are bigger. This one had a good number of machines and weights. There are a few times that I needed to wait for a bench to free up or someone to get off of a machine. They have at least 2 of everything but sometimes thats not enough. You may need to work on something else while waiting for the machine you want to stop being used. Other than that. Its definitely worth the price and I recommend it.

I love going here when its late at night. I feel like I can do my thing without any kind of interruption. The 30-minute Express workout is dope. Place is clean and the lockers are pretty huge. Price is awesome, too

Im tired of unprofessional workers, treating people like they are second class citizens.

Staff was very kind and helpful. It was my 1st time back to the gym since covid hit and the 1st time at this location.

Weve been using this gym for a about a year and a half now. Its clean and the machines are well-maintained. I go 5 days a week for elliptical, treadmill, 30 minute express circuit. I like the trainer i work with. And I can feel how much stronger and fitter I have gotten. They have been experiencing a big staff turnover recently which has disrupted some things that used to work like clockwork but I think they are getting a handle on it. I guess the biggest annoyance has been the paper towel dispensers. Just about the time they finally found a brand and style that actually functioned correctly they lost a lot of female staff members... so the dispenser in the womens bathroom is often out of towels. Also being short-staffed means the other dispensers around the gym arent checked and refilled in time either. Can you tell its a pet peeve? When I finish exercise I need to splash my face to get the perspiration off and then i reach for a paper towel since you cant stick your face under the blow dryers... sigh. Im expecting improvement soon.

Everybody was really nice here. The equipment was awesome!! They have lots of information about classes posted too. I dont go to the gym regularly but was pleasantly surprised about how low pressure and easygoing things seemed. Will be returning

Warning: stay away. This Planet Fitness location is approaching safety in an astoundingly cavalier and unprofessional manner. Social distancing is not observed or enforced in any way, no one is wearing masks, and staff have literally unplugged my machine while exercising because I wanted additional distance between me and other members while exercising around people not wearing masks. This is a COVID ground zero, not to mention the totally unprofessional and disrespectful conduct by the staff. I urge you to avoid this location.

Planet Fitness is a great gym. The facility has a great variety of machines as well as classes. The staff is helpful and friendly. Go at your own pace. This is a gym for all sorts of people at any fitness level.

I wish there was a better faster way to check in. I almost always feel avoided or pushed aside when checking in. It is not a very warm happy how are you doing feeling. I feel like cattle and that is only after I have been noticed. But overall I love the facility. I just wished the workers were more personable. There is only one that is wonderful and she make me feel welcomed.

Today is my first day back after a long covid hiatus. Was quite nice at about 3 p.m. Not crowded, and of course, its a judgment free zone!Another perk is that I just got signed up for a free black card membership due to my Medicare plan. Woohoo!

Nice gym, lots of equipment. This is the second time I have joined. The first time I was a member I remember seeing staff cleaning all the time. Today was my first time back in about a year. I am only giving it three stars because of the cleanliness of the gym. The base of all the machines need some attention.

I like how simple the gym is. Just the machines and some free weights. Yes, I could have this set up in my home, but I dont have the room. Staff are friendly and helpful. The cleanliness could go up a notch, that is why I dont give 5 stars. So far with their help and my diet, I have lost about 40 lbs.

Love Planet Fitness. Great environment, equipment, staff and classes. My only criticism is that the new yoga/exercise mats are way too short. The mat material is great, better than the old thick ones, but children sized. Should be at lease 5 feet long, preferably 6 as most yoga/exercise mats are.

Most of the cardio machines have not worked properly for years. They didnt use any of my money to fix these machines while they were closed for three months. A little effort would have made me feel it was worth it.

My home gym. Lots of activity and alright staff. The mens bathroom is always gross and smelly not a fan but other than that not a bad place to get yr fitness in.

Tanning bed bulbs where burnt out, 1/4 of the bulbs.

One of the better PF locations I’ve been to. Staff is super nice and always upbeat. Gets busy but plenty of machines to finish a workout. Only gripe is that the locker rooms tend to reek really bad. They keep machines fixed in a decent amount of time and keep up with the overall cleanliness.

I love the classes that are offered. Anyone can do a class regardless of their fitness level. You can work out as hard as you are able. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

The facility looks open and bright. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a lot of equipment and it is clean and easy to use. When I work out I feel I am in an environment that is not intimidating. Would be nice to have one on one time with a trainer but the group session I had got me started down the right path to meeting my goals. The Club membership is great. I get to treat myself for working out. So add it all up...I love it.
