The front desk was nice checking in but long wait and physical adequate physician was rude. Try to refer me for test that I don’t need and since I didn’t want the test hold my license hostage and I will have to see my personal Doctor to get the physical and correct medical service..

Came here for a pre employment drug test. I waited over 3 hours. People who came in after me and had to see a provider were seen first. Very unfriendly environment. Do not make this your first choice in testing. Very very slow process!!

Y’all did good. Girls out front where very professional the doctor was very thorough. I sure appreciate all the extra stuff you did for me.

Bottom line, they got the required task completed. MUST wear a mask, NO EXCEPTIONS! Its a clinic, not a place most want to visit. I would use again if needed, but not a 1st choice.

We went for a drug screening on a Monday and they didn’t have the supplies. We were told we would not have to wait again on Tuesday but we waited again along with everyone else. That’s ok. While we waited “Highway to Hell” played through the music. I would suggest a little softer music choice.

It was a very great visit they where really nice in fast at what they do they make sure your well being is great before living the building .

Make sure to bring a note from your mother if you miss an appointment, because they wont answer the phone so that you can tell them you arent going to be able to make it and you will be questioned about where you were when you get there on your next appointment. Also dont expect any hands on therapy. Expect someone to give you an exercise to do and then go sit in front of a computer. Other than that, Joe is really good to work with. Alisha will stress you out as soon as you walk in and make you hate every second you are there. There is no consistency in the exercises you do from week to week because you dont always work with the same person, so the therapist can only rely on notes instead of knowing from working with you last time where you are in your recovery and injuries. I can verify that other low reviews here are true. After being a patient at this place off and on for the past 6 months I feel like I know a little about the place. Nobody ever seems to know whats going on at the front desk. There is someone new there nearly every time I go in and they are always training someone. There is also a packed waiting room full of irritated looking people who have likely been sitting there for hours. I hope this review helps someone.

They must be short staffed like everywhere else - on hold for 15 minutes the first time. They picked up and hung right up - called back - another 15 on hold.hopefully the services are better!

The nurses are all hot, and very nice. Theyre the only reason I give 5 stars.

The staff was not always the most patient, but considering the volume of work to the ratio of staff, and the stress that their jobs entail, I will give 5 stars for them choosing to go to work and serve people.

I waited well over 2 hours on a Monday to do a drug test. A woman in gray scrubs was at the front desk. She was a disaster. She could not multi task. A blonde girl in bluish scrubs came up and sat down and started helpig and then she was gone again. I finally get called back to do a drug screen!!!!! The blonde lady that did my drug screen was very friendly and kept apologizing for my wait. My rating is only a 3 star because of the ones in the blue scrubs. I would only give half star to the one in gray!

If you have ever taken a prescription drug they wont pass you. Its crazy.

Front desk is very disorganized. Make you wear a mask and social distance but yet all the chairs are only 1 foot apart so why not go ahead and fill your lobby with the rest of the chairs. The lobby was full and she was letting drug screens leave and come back. I work in the field that is not allowed. Also! Violating HIPAA BIG TIME!! When I signed in on the clip board, I could see every single person that was there that day, first and last name. That is a HIPAA no no! Also the front office has charts everywhere, even in the floor. She lost my ID, told me that I didnt give it to her. When I did. She finally found it. I was there for over 2 hours and only 2 people were pulled back the entire time. The only reason I went was bc I had to work the rest of the week and I didnt have to have an appt. I will never go back or send anyone there ever. The nurse that did my test was nice though

Drew blood on second try. Record for me. :) First time I went second time different phlebotomist. I was not impressed. Didnt even try wasted gas to get there 35 min drive. Told me I had to go somewhere else and I had to get my paperwork again. Delaying me more.

In a way, I can appreciate it being walk in service but when everyone is waiting over two hours to just begin their appointment maybe something is wrong. The entire room was full with seating about four feet apart so there was certainly a lack of Covid precautions. Many people were left standing, crowded together that couldnt get a seat. I will say that the staff was very nice and helpful. As I write this in the parking lot after my appointment, it took a total of three hours and twenty minutes to get through from signing in.

I was there to get my DOT physical, the staff was super friendly the atmosphere of this clinic was very pleasant.

Went here for pre-employment drug testing around 4pm. The office seemed a bit understaffed/undermanaged. The woman who performed my screen was visibly stressed (and apologetic, saying she hadn’t had a break all day) buuuut she made me take the wrong test and then said she would just pour it in to a different cup. She wasn’t wearing gloves which I thought was a bit odd as well. Another staff member came in there to inform her she had mixed up two patient’s charts. My results were never sent off and when I called for an update about four days later, they said the employee who facilitated my test was terminated that day. Needless to say I had to redo my screen at a different facility.

It was fast getting in and done.Results seem to take forever almost 72 hours so far and still no word

Front desk staff acted as if they were confused on what was going on. One guy was just constantly walking around in circles trying to figure out what he was doing. The guy who did my test was good and knew his duties. They are also very slow. I was not pleased nor impressed with the front desk help.

Waited 2 hours for urinalysis. The office was in disarray and they had to have people wait outside.

It should not take 3 hours for them to let you pee in a cup and leave, staff ignores you at the desk and wont help you while your standing there. Everyone there is made to wait exceptionally long for something that takes little time.

Waited over 3 hours to get my DOT Annual physical only to find out they (my employer) only had faxed an authorization for a Drug Test but didnt check the physical box, by then no one left at my employer to answer the phone so I was charged $77.38 to complete my needed Physical. Maybe they could have asked me when I first arrived what they were authorized to do and we could have had it resolved right then.

I had to wait an exceptionally long time (2+ hours) for a pre-employment urine drug screen. The actual act of taking the drug screen took less than 5 minutes once I got called back. The staff were professional and friendly though.

Superior customer service? Was there at 0830 for med card recertification. Three hours later I was finally finished. What use to take 25 minutes now takes 3 hours? Not very efficient. I dont know why my company switched to this company.

When I went into the bathroom to give my sample i was stunned that it hadnt been cleaned. On the back of the toilet there was urine. I told the man who was taking care of me about it and he said hed take care of it. I hope my test comes back okay I wasnt happy!!

Very nice people there but waiting 1.5 two times in a row for a random just waiting in the waiting room is a bit much. The turnover rate of the patients seems very poor. I wouldnt bother going here if it was up to me and not my employer. I spoke with our company HR and they are working on going to another location here on out.

Great staff, & service. Mr. Jerry Nance (PA), was the nicest physician that Ive ever encountered! Short wait time, and everyone is very kind. I will renew my DOT certification with Nova every time!

Very appropriate treatment and casual conversation treatment of personal connection. Only grip is such a delay to do drug test in piss cup.

I had the worst experience at Nova medical center. The wait time wasn’t bad, but the lady who took me back was VERY hateful and rude. It was my first drug test and I made her aware of that, but she instead treated me as if I were a drug addict because I kept making mistakes. She talked very fast and was hard to understand. She was impatient with me and talked down to me the whole time. I was holding back tears my entire visit there.

While part of the staff was nice its the rude and nasty one that mad the experience bad.

I have no complaints! They were professional, competent, personable and informative. The price for the TDOT physical, for my CDL, was about the same as Ive paid at other places. The only thing that I would change is the check-in process, to streamline it a little; its not bad now but could be better.

It did take a little bit to get in the back to do my drug test. But that normal for anywhere you walk into If they welcome walk ins. Once I got to the back they were very nice and I was in and out. This is my 2nd Time going here. Not any problems but a little bit of a long wait. Everyone was very nice and took there time with me.

How else can one describe it but as agonizing. Sitting in the waiting room for hours with a handful of other people waiting to take a screen while no one is getting called back. After 2.5 hours I get called back and drop my screen, it took all of about 5 minutes. Why do they leave people wasting half their days for something like this? Because they can that’s why. They’ve secured contracts and people have no other option. Looks like I’m not the only one that think this place is awful.

Do not give your cell phone number to them. They send multiple texts for surveys and then for review on line. Even after sending STOP.Staff is accommodating and professional. Had a 45 min wait, but thats expected in walking triage.

Super nice staff. Knowledgeable and answered all my questions quickly. However, your Facility is uncomfortable. Cheap chairs for an hour or more wait. Only 1 bathroom available for drug testing is why the wait took so long! You did provide a ramp for handicapped but it was way too long for people who are mobile but have issues with stairs and long walks.

I walked in to get a DOT physical and was out in about an hour. Their cost for the physical was about $50.00 less than most places are charging.

The only issue I experienced was a bit of a snag in finding my referral. I received quick, courteous attention, the facility was clean, and I was out pretty quickly. Overall, a very positive experience at Nova Medical Center. I would strongly recommend them.

I went I for a pre employment drug test. I was there maybe 5 minutes before being called back. Everyone was pleasant, efficient and wait time was minimal.

The staff was so nice! But... I waited 2 hrs and 20 minutes for a pre employment physical. Total I was at Nova for 4 hours and 20 min. I would give the staff extra points for being so kind.

The staff here was great! Receptionist super on it and male nurse fantastic! Obviously wait time stinks, but to be expected in such a active office.

I went to Nova for a work injury and was taken back fairly quickly, the Dr. was great, I then got referred over to physical therapy and Jaime and Alicia were absolutely fabulous and friendly. Thank you all. Pamela Goins

I had a shy bladder, but five cups of water helped me go. It was an experience for sure. I know I have nothing to. Worry about. I do not do Dope or Drugs. Only prescribed meds. Its all Good.

Place was packed when I arrived, usual bunch of nervous people waiting to take a drug test, the 2 employees working the front desk didnt acknowledge my presence at the counter and offered no direction as what to do. Wait was too long, people do have other things to handle during the day. The employee that took me to the back was fantastic, wish I had gotten her name because she was the only pleasant person that I encountered.

My employer said to be ready for the screening. I was so ready after drinking 2 bottles of water. But my luck, two emergencies came in just before I arrived. Oh my! I waited as long as I could! I had to given in. Thank goodness for the water fountain,I was ready when it was my turn! The center was clean, polite and discreet. Thank you 😊

Having worked in occupational medicine before, I can say these people bust their tails. As a patient in the lobby waiting to come back for a 5 minute drug test, TB skin test, or anything else that seems like a quick in and out service, I can understand the frustrations of waiting..However what you dont see as a patient are the employees who are trying to get people in and out quickly so they dont get yelled at or insulted on a review, so they can get a full break or any break at all really, or so they dont get in trouble for wait times.. You dont see these employees who do MULTIPLE, complex pre-employment services on one patient. You dont see anyone being taken off the floor so they can go in a room to help a provider sew someone up, or taken off the floor to do multiple x-rays on one person. You dont see them handle rude folks coming in giving them fake urine or blowing a .23 on a breath alcohol test (by the way, they have to sit with that patient for 15 minutes before they can do the second test)...Again- these people work hard and try their best to get you as a patient in and out quickly. Theyve been nothing but kind, efficient, and patient. Thank you for all you do!!

The staff was friendly but after sitting in the lobby for an hour and a half and them not calling a single patient back I was very frustrated. The main reason they started calling patients is it was overcrowded and people were being loud and asked to turn their music down.

Absolutely the worst place to take a drug test. Took an hr before I was seen. Youd think a place that does drug test all the time would be quick. Well not this place. Sit back, relax, and hold it.

I waited an hour and a half in a half-filled waiting room for a drug test that took less than 10 minutes. There was no explanation given for the unreasonable wait time. Go somewhere else if you have the option.

The nurses and Physicians here did a great job. The process I had was long but it was the process not the people. Good job Nova.

I came in for a pre-employment screen and TB testing. The staff was courteous and friendly. I was in and out within 20min which was great! When I came in to get my test read I didn’t have to leave the front counter. I’m glad Knoxville has a clinic with staff that are an asset to the healthcare system. Way to go Nova!!!

Needed a last minute drug screen. They got me in fast and were very friendly. Open until 6pm which is very convenient for people that have jobs unlike many other clinics in the area.

Staff was unprofessional and disorganized. More training is desperately needed. They lost part of my paperwork, blood draw was painful and left my arm bruised and swollen. While waiting for paperwork to get figured out, staff brought another patient into the room with me to have him complete his drug screening. Meanwhile my PHI was laying in plain sight. Customer service was poor. Overall bad experience. Ive had pre-employment testing at other facilities and process was seamless and professional. This was far from it. Staff seemed very inexperienced or just completely clueless.

Couldnt pay me to give this place a positive review. Staff is slow and disorganized. Went in for a respirator fit test, a 5 min process turns into 2 and half hour ordeal. Its not just a walk in issue, I watched a woman wait for over 2 hours for a TB skin test, ridiculous... either hire more staff and improve your time management skills or stop accepting walk-ins and be an appointment only facility.

Precious was sweet. Shes the tech that did my urine test. But Im currently sitting in the exam room waiting for the doctor to come do my DOT physical and so I can turn my head and cough. Ive been sitting in here for 56 minutes. I wasnt even in the waiting room this long. Go somewhere else if you have an option. Ill never come here again...... I hope the doc shows up with McDonalds or something because Im starving.
