I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Bowman! This is the first time I’ve actually been thoroughly listened and talked with regarding my health! It makes me have so much more faith in Doctors! Super happy I found her and cannot recommend her enough! Everyone in the office was so friendly! I feel like you never see that anywhere else!

Dr. Bowman was excellent. I went to see her with several issues as well as her overseeing some previous tests results with me. She handled each one separately and thoroughly. I am very pleased with the very knowledgeable care she provides.

Dr. Bowman has been my PCP for as long as I can remember. She is an excellent doctor and a great person. Shes patient, she listens, and she has excellent bedside manner. The other doctor in that practice, Dr. Leonard, is great too. I also really like the doctors nurses (Jodi and Christine). And I cant forget about Missy who works the front reception desk. Shes a lot of fun to talk to, super nice, very helpful, and makes being in the doctors office an easier experience.

Dr. Bowman listens to your concerns AND follows up on them! If a visit to a specialist is needed, there is a call from that doctor’s office within a week or two. If blood test shows a problem, her efficient nurse phones me. Very happy to have Dr. Bowman as my care provider.

Dr. Rachel Bowman is meticulous about my medical history, she keeps details straight which I greatly appreciate, since my history is pretty extensive. She listens and asks questions. That makes me feel cared about. I’m never in the waiting room very long.She and her nurse (and lately nurse practitioner) work as a team. They are deeply kind and Excellent at arranging tests, they get me the help I need. And when I’m anxious, she’s easy to talk to, and very personable. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but so worth it.

Love Dr. Bowman and her staff. Her office has a small hometown feel to it. She is thorough and listens to what you say. Highly recommend.

For once I actually felt listened to by a doctor. I get a lot of judgement due to being young and having a lot of health issues but this doctor is truly the best. Two visits so far and Im extremely happy with her, her office staff, and nurses. If you want a doctor who will truly listen and explain things without judgement, this doctor is the one for you.

Dr. Bowman has to be my favorite primary care physician I have ever had! She sat with me for over 30 minutes talking with me, and listening to everything I had to say. You can tell that she really cares about her patients, and I am so happy that she is my doctor!

Dr. Bowman is an excellent doctor. I have been going to her for years, even though she hasnt been on my insurance plan for the last year and a half. She is thorough each visit, listens to my complaints instead of making me feel like just another number going through a revolving door, which I appreciate! I have witnessed doctors that my husband has seen that I dont know how well hes being taken care of when it seems like they had you penciled in for 5 minutes and youre done. Dr. Bowman doesnt rush you, so you know she actually hears what is going on. Her staff is excellent too! Between herself, Nurse Jodie, and her front office staff Missy it makes going to get yourself cared for a much better experience!

Nurse Jody very friendly and efficient. Very pleased with care and concern Dr. Bowman always exhibits toward me. Also pleased with how quickly they respond to emails I have sent them from time to time.

Dr. Bowman listens to her patients. She doesn’t try to tell you what you feel or what you think it’s wrong. She has a discussion about your symptoms with you. She talks to you like you’re a friend and not just a patient. I highly recommend Dr. Bowman and her practice. Everyone was exceptional.

I absolutely LOVE seeing Dr Bowman, her nurse Jody and the other staff. They are very welcoming and accommodating. Dr Bowman is amazing! Always answers all of my questions (and I have quite a few. Haha) she’s very thorough and I wouldn’t want to be under anyone else’s care!

Always there when I need medical help. Jodie is a phenomenal nurse and takes the time to listen. Dr. Bowman is the same way...never do I feel rushed and I always feel she hears what I’m saying. Avoid. I went here to establish care with a new physician to get a refill on my thyroid medication and because my hair is falling out horribly. (She looked up from her computer and said Well, you look like you have plenty of hair!) This physician did not feel my thyroid at all (every other physician I have ever had always did and had me swallow), did not look at my hair or scalp, and truly did next to nothing as far as a physical exam (Ears, nose, throat, listened to me breathe, checked for swelling ankles). It has been over a week and I have viewed my labs in portal several days ago and my thyroid is out of range high. I contacted the office through the portal to ask if my medication would be changed and was told the physician had not yet reviewed my labs. It has been a week and a day now and I still havent heard from them. The best thing I can say is all of the office staff were super friendly, and Jodi the nurse is on her game.

Dr. Bowman is very concerned about my health problems and she is on top of it all. She is working on my health problems to get them resolved.

As always my trip to see Dr. Bowman was informative and pleasant. She had an outstanding student with her.

The facility was clean and the faculty was friendly and quick! The nurses were SO sweet and on top of things. Dr. Bowman made me feel listened to and taken care of. She is an extremely smart individual and you immediately feel that you can trust her. She acted on what my questions and concerns were and didn’t treat me like I was a crazy patient. It’s been years since I’ve been listened to by a doctor. Will recommend this facility and doctor to all!

Dr. Bowman and her whole team are PHENOMENAL! She is very thorough, quick to respond to any messages, and on top of her professional awesomeness, she is incredibly nice with a great bedside manner. She listens to everything you have to say, without interrupting (which I’m sure you all can attest, is somewhat rare in the medical field). She watches out for all aspects of your health, and when you get lab results back, she actually types little notes on your blood work (the results you see in patient portal), showing that she indeed looked at them, and evaluated them (again, that’s been unheard of in my experience). Her whole staff are bright-eyed and friendly, and you end up leaving the office with a smile on your face, as if you just left a friends house. I couldn’t be more pleased with her and her practice!

Dr Bowman is amazing ! Its hard to find such a committed DR that genuinely will go through hoops to help you . She sees my entire family and always goes the extra mile to help us . My daughter has some complex issues and she has went over and beyond to get to the bottom of things when even our specialist would not. DR Bowman, she is the most intelligent doctor with great sense of humor. She is so smart and so professional! My son only meet her once, since one year he need medical check , he ask me to take him to meet Dr Bowman!

My husband and I have been with Dr. Rachel Bowman and her nurse Jodie for several years. We followed them from their previous practice over to Tennova Medical Centers Primary Care, and even switched our insurance at work to make sure that we could keep her.Dr. Bowman cares about you. She really listens to all of your concerns. She doesnt put you off or make you feel stupid if you dont know how to say something right or express yourself. When you need a referral to a specialist she doesnt put you off, she answers you immediately with several options and lets you decide which one to go to.Jodie, her nurse, has a direct line for you to leave messages with her and shell answer you that day or the next if it is after 3 pm. She answers patient portal messages and calls you back with detailed messages if you let her do that on your hipaa form. They call to check on you when you are sick to see if you are feeling better and add you in when things dont seem to help.Dr. Bowman does a thorough physical exam. Through her doing such exams she was able to find some problems that I thought were minor and actually needed surgery. She also does extensive blood work to make sure that everything is okay when she cant find an answer.I havent been this happy with a primary care physician in a long time and I highly recommend Dr. Bowman and her nurse Jodie to anyone.
