The Staff from Dr.P down love what they do, and they do it well! They don’t Push you; they just take care of business in a friendly and professional manner.

Have been going to Fountain City for years and would not consider anywhere else! It is just like visiting family every six months! Great place and wonderful folks.

Over the past few months I have had 2 surgeries to remove all my teeth and get dentures. I have 1 more appt to pull my front teeth and get my dentures. I’m convinced Dr. Pozega and his team are the best in Knoxville. On my first visit, all the staff were very friendly and listened to my concerns. I got a very thorough exam and Dr. Pozega took his time and never seemed rushed even with a bush office full of patients! Before my second visit, the office called me with the estimated cost BEFORE the appointment which was incredible. I knew about how much I’d be paying before the appointment even happened. From start to finish, I got numbed up and my cavity filled in less than an hour! This team is so friendly and I’m so glad I found this office! Thank you guys!

Very patient-oriented dental practice. The excellent knowledge and experience of Dr. Pozega and all of his staff are visible in every interaction I have had with them. Peace of mind and trust are priceless when youre in that chair with unfamiliar sounds, smells, and feelings buzzing around your head, especially while not being able to see whats happening. Of course, that is just the necessary evil of maintaining good oral health but it still can be very off-putting. And scary- I learned this the hard way. You DO NOT want to be laying in that chair all numbed up and having serious second-thoughts about the person hovering over you... you know, the one with the sharp, pointy tools in-hand!! Anyway, I am so pleased that I found Dr. Pozegas practice. They are la bomba! ❤🙂🙃😁

Well a dentist visit isn’t the greatest thing to do,but what a better place to go than Fountain City dental.These people sure are great making you feel like you’re welcome.

Were new to the area, and I had a horrible toothache/ infection. They got me in quick for an emergency appointment which I couldnt have been more greatful for. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable and welcome. Which was great! I was diagnosed with an abcess. They asked me if I had an allergy to penicillin, to which i replied that I had no allergy to any antibiotics. I have a history of MRSA from a hospital stay 7 years ago and nearly died. I have severe anxiety, especially over any infections. Which I also made sure to mention. The tooth was broken at the gum and in bad shape (thanks to multiple pregnancies, yay kids! Lol) It needed to be removed as soon as i finished the antibiotics. They gave me keflex..which is odd for a tooth infection, but I took it as prescribed. About 8 days after starting them, it still hurt. I let the office know and they acted like they didnt believe me. Telling me to make sure Im taking it as prescribed. Im an adult and in pain.. Im taking my medication as prescribed. They were hesitant like i was maybe pill seeking? Im not sure. I specifically requested a new antibiotic. Its an antibiotic not narcotics. I was worried about this infection since it wasnt responding to keflex. It took awhile to get them to call me in anything, they wanted to remove a broken tooth, that was pretty infected and wouldnt likely numb. They do not offer any types of sedation or Nitrous. It would be very painful to extract. After telling them that my schedule would not allow it last minute, they finally called me in a zpak. At this point, I had enough. I was in pain and needed something to fix this. Tylenol wasnt helping, and thanks to a stomach disease..i cant take nsaids.I called another dentist and was seen the next day. The infection was still there and pretty bad. The dentist i seen was baffled as to why this office gave me those medications for a tooth infection. They arent commonly given for a tooth infection, especially with better choices available. The dentist also informed me that this tooth would need surgically removed and i would need to be sedated. They couldnt believe that another dentist would want to do it in office, while infected and nothing to comfort a patient who would not be able to numb for the extraction.Over all this could have been a fabulous practice for our family but i didnt feel they cared much for my well being. They didnt care to leave me hurting, with an infection festering. (Gross, i know!) I feel as though they could have done better. There isnt a good enough reason why I shouldnt have been given the proper antibiotics for such an infection. I was given penicillin at my new dentist and finally had relief within 3 days. After nearly 2 weeks of pain and discomfort. Im scheduled for an extraction with a surgical team in 2 weeks, and getting a smile makeover! Everything turned out well in the end, so no hard feelings. We just had an unfortunate experience.

We moved here 12 years ago, and I found Dr. Pozega through our babysitter. I have been going to him since then. He is not only professional, he cares about his patients and most importantly has a good bedside manner. That is important, as I have had a multitude of dental work performed. The staff also displays excellent bedside manners and are professional. They are very informative on procedures and care of your teeth. Everyone was friendly and helpful! I went in today (5/11) with my boys (5 and 2), Ms. Lisa talked and played with them while I was getting my teeth cleaned. Mrs. Jan was extremely friendly and explained what she was doing to the boys before she cleaned their teeth! The boys had a great time!! Dr. Stan was extremly nice as well! Im so glad Fountain City Dental Care came up in my Google search for a new dentist in our new city!!

The absolute best Dentist, I have ever gone to. The staff is wonderful. I broke a huge piece of tooth biting on a piece of hard candy and went to see him yesterday. He fixed my tooth, but I keep looking in my mouth, because the tooth looks so much better than it did to begin with. People here in my office cant believe what he did. I keep looking at it in the mirror, with amazement. ( Kind of makes me wish I could break my other teeth.) lol This Dentist, is remarkable and is in my opinion one of the finest persons you would ever want to encounter. Dr. Pozegas, staff, is of the same caliber, and I cant say enough about him, his work, or his staff.

My wife accidentally missed her dental appointment and realized it an hour after it was scheduled. She immediately called the secretary, which said she was going to lunch and would call her back later that day to make a new appointment. The secretary never called and then my wife got an email from Dr. Pozega saying that since she missed her appointment that they automatically cancelled mine which was scheduled for next month. It takes two months to get an appointment in that office and it was very unprofessional to say youre going to call back to make another appointment and never do and then automatically cancel mine. Life happens, its not like my wife missed the appointment on purpose and she called immediately to let them know what happened. Ridiculous and unprofessional. We will definitely find another place since thats how this one operates.

Wonderful staff! I’ve been a patient of Dr. Pozega for 3 years now and I have absolutely no complaints.

The experience was ok but Im disappointed in the doctor. He performed a root canal on a molar and after he told me that he usually doesnt do molars and referred me to another dentist to have them finish it. In the process of doing the root canal he somehow separated my back tooth from the next one forward and as a result I now have a food trap there along with an unfinished root canal. Good place for cleanings but dont have anything major done here.

Dr. Pozega & all the staff are WONDERFUL! The front desk receptionist, Lisa is extremely nice, knowledgable, and goes above and beyond to help you! I had a tooth crack & was in severe pain & they got me in same day. They stayed on call & showed so much compassion over my pain & even helped to get me in for a root canal at an endodontist right away! I now live out of town but drive an hour to still be seen at their office because I love this place! Thank you all for all you do!!!
