We came in and the staff was so welcoming. Rae did my daughters hair, she explained everything as she was going and made both of us comfortable through out the entire experience. Everyone “must” experience Salon Yeager!!!I spent a lot of time researching for the right salon to take care of my needs including my children’s haircuts/styles.The journey, experience, and service that you will receive at Salon Yeager is exceptional. The owners are very hands-on and involved by taking care of you and making sure all your needs are met.Last year I started using Rae for my haircut and color. She is a very kind hearted and talented individual. She definitely looks out for you and wants to make sure you are at your most comfort when taking care of your needs. Highly recommend utilizing her on your next visit to Salon Yeager.I also want to give much recognition to another very talented individual named Alison. Last night, my daughter was getting a haircut and also soft curls put in. As a mom, I tried replicating the hairstyles that Salon Yeager has done for my daughter, and yet epic failure on my part since I’m not a professional. I was amazed and extremely happy that Alison took the time to teach me how to fix my daughters hair like she does at the salon. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the facility was lovely, and my stylist talented. My previous color wouldnt lift like I hoped, but my stylist Ashlyn helped me find a color/style that was similar but would cover the old color. She even stayed late to finish it (because I didnt realize how long it would take and made a late day appointment.) Five stars! Highly recommend.

Rose took all my ideas I had on what I wanted my hair to look like and turned it into a masterpiece! The process took over 5 hours, and she was amazing through it all. The salon itself is amazing, they make you feel like a princess with comfy seats and even an ambient washing room! Ive never loved getting my hair done more!

I went to Salon Yeager for the first time yesterday to cut my wavy-curly hair back into a short Bob by Alison and the experience was overall great! While I’m not a fan of the Ouidad products themselves, Alison did an amazing job explaining everything she was doing and thinking, checking in about length and shaping, and styling afterwards. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten.

I have been going to Salon Yeager for 6+ years even since moving out of state. I have seen multiple stylists and have been impressed with the work every time! This is the only place I trust to put color on my hair. They talk you through the process prior to starting and get your approval. Then they explain the steps they are taking while doing your hair.One time there was an issue and I was so impressed with their professionalism in handling it. Jenn walked me out and listened to me. She then followed up with a call and discussed action they took to prevent the situation in the future.Chris and Jenn and the whole staff are all so nice. I have very very thick curly ethnic hair! I had Kara as my stylist and she knew exactly what to do with my request! She took time to listen to what I wanted and show me the best way to achieve the look I wanted as closely as possible. Everyone was super nice and stepped in to help when she needed it ( thick hair problems)! The hair washing station is my favorite room in the salon so relaxing!! I am able to get the look I want every time I go! I love this salon and all the people there! Worth every penny and I feel like a beauty queen every time I leave!

My stylist is Jen who is also the owner. Jen is a master at color! I have been a redhead, blond, and brunette and no matter what color I have chosen, she always gets the tones for right my skin. Jen has provided me with excellent service throughout the years and I have nothing but high praise for her Salon.My favorite part the Salon Yeager experience is the hair wash room. It is separate from the rest of the salon and has a Zen-like feeling with soft music, low lights, comfortable wash chairs and thats not all. Absolutely love this salon! I saw Dulaney for a balayage and she is amazing. Not only does she make you feel comfortable, but shes also (more importantly) really talented! Maddy Jo also helped style my hair at the end and shes so sweet and made my hair look great. This salon is also great about making everyone wear masks so you can feel safe here.

I just had my hair done at this salon, and I had a fantastic experience. Kelsey and Haley are so amazing! They made me feel welcome and made my hair look great! I had never changed up my hair before. However, on this visit, I got a red bayalage, and I am so thrilled with the results! My sister was so jealous she went ahead and made an appointment for next with with Kelsey! I will definitely be getting my hair done here in the future. Also, I plan on taking advantage of the referral program. I dont even know where to start. This salon is so welcoming. Greeted at the door, check in and offered a refreshment and/or snack immediately. They have a boutique in salon, which is fantastic! Really cute things to browse through while you wait. The wait was barely minutes. The atmosphere is fantastic. It is busy and reminded me of the shop Julia Roberts was pampered in on Rodeo Dr in Pretty Woman. Very upbeat. One of my favorite thing was the room you go to for hair washing. Legit spa type room. Wonderful smell, dim lights and spa type music. Amazing!!!! Then there is Maddy, my stylist. As amazing as the salon is....she is just as amazing. She did something I have been trying to do at other salons for years! Life gets busy and a lot of us fall into that box color. I have used it for 20+. She removed my box color today!!! For those not familiar......it is a tricky process without totally ruining your hair (so I have been told every time I ask someone to do it). She was super patient and thorough. I have a head full of hair and it didnt phase her a bit! Thank you so much Maddy and Salon Yeager!!!!

I brought my daughter in for hair and makeup for her senior pictures. Victoria did an AMAZING with her mega thick hair. She was fast, it looked amazing, and stayed styled for several hours. Salon Yeager is a dream. I have known Jenn for ten years now and she is both an amazing stylist/hair artist, as well as, business owner. I have visited with several different stylists there over the years, and I never leave disappointed. Everyone is attuned from front desk to stylist, to management. It is a wonderful atmosphere and filled with amazing talent!!!

I hate leaving bad reviews for people and businesses that are so nice, but this whole thing has been weighing on me so much that I have literally woken up thinking about it.I had my hair done here two weeks ago.. I took off three stars for three reasons:1.) This salon is very nice, they’re very friendly, they offer snacks and drinks, and they have different “levels” of stylists ranging from 1 to 8. The higher level the stylist, the more you pay. I booked with a level 8 stylist, expecting to pay more for THAT STYLIST to do my hair. However, the intern she had working with her did most of my hair. This intern was very very sweet and we had nice and friendly conversation, but she was clearly much less experienced than the level 8 stylist I paid so much money for to do my hair. At first, both the level 8 stylist and the intern were putting highlights in my hair and the level 8 stylist was correcting and guiding (as one does in training) and the intern was asking lots of what seemed like basic questions. This made me extremely nervous, especially once the level 8 stylist took off shortly after starting on my hair to do another clients hair, and left the intern to finish the majority of my hair by herself.2.) I paid over $400 for highlights with a shadow root and a trim (no layers either), and did not get what I asked for. I brought picture examples of what I wanted. A white/ash blonde with a shadow root. I was going from a medium brown so I understand that getting to a white or ash blonde could take 2-3 sessions. However, what they gave me looks like I had highlights done 6 months ago, with a clear line where the highlights stop. There is absolutely no blending into where my natural hair ends and the highlights begin… They also missed entire areas framing my face (from what I can see), so I have random chunks of darker hair when I pull my hair into an updo. While they did not “butcher” my hair, $400 is far too much money to pay to not get what you are paying for.3.) Everyone was so friendly and the salon is really nice. I did extensive research on salons and landed on this one based off the many stunning client photo examples of each stylist’s work. I drove over an hour to have my hair done here. So, I booked my next session with a level 5 stylist that I thought would be able to remedy the situation and do a better job, and would have requested an intern NOT do my hair. However, I got a call today from Salon Yeager informing me that that stylist is no longer with them and asked me if I was going to stay with that stylist (I have no idea where she went) or book with one of their other stylists. I explained that I wasn’t happy about my first experience with the stylist I booked with first, and that I was giving the salon a second chance with the level 5 stylist in hopes that she would be able to fix my hair from the first girl. Therefore I am just going to cancel my appointment, as I’m having many doubts about the situation. Here is why I took off the last star: there was no conversation about what I was unhappy with, no questions on how they could remedy the situation, what they could have done better, etc.. They just said “ok you’re appointment is cancelled, have a good day.” *click* …. I wasn’t expecting any kind of refund or anything, but good customer service is finding out why a customer or client is unhappy and seeing if it’s something you can change or do better in the future. I worked in customer service for many years, and have two at-home businesses where we have to deal with customer service daily. If there is a concern or an unhappy customer or client, we get to the bottom of it and remedy what we can. But Salon Yeager is a big salon and it doesn’t seem they need to keep every customer happy because they are always busy and will always have clientele… Needless to say, I won’t be returning. :(***Edit: I added one star to my review simply for the kind and informative response from the salon. I do look forward to hearing from the owner, Chris.***

Just here to leave some positivity. i went here in college to get my hair done as I was new to the Knoxville area. i love the level of professionalism that I was shown from the moment I walked through the door. my hair turned out amazing!! it was a bit expensive, but let’s be real high quality comes with a price. if I still lived in Knoxville, I would still get my hair done here. I do recommend this salon to my friends I still have in Knoxville & they have had great experiences also.Before leaving reviews, please remember this is someone’s livelihood and we are all humans. :)

THIS PLACE CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I had stylist Jacie Roberts. Recommended personally from a friend of mine I received excellent care. She took the time to do a thorough consultation with me to figure out exactly what I wanted. It was never awkward and she always knows how to start a conversation. She came in on her off days for me without even knowing me, and I have never been the person to stick with a salon nor a stylist but I have found my home here. With affordable services, friendly stylists, and fantastic results you could say I’m here to stay. I came into Salon Yeager with low confidence over my hair, and worried if they were going to be able to give me what I wanted. I was honestly at one of my lowest moments. Jacie fixed me right up and I am now back to my old confident self. I love you guys! And if you are a potential customer reading this? COME HERE! The atmosphere of this place is POSITIVE VIBES ONLY!!

This is obviously a coordinated attack on Salon Yeager. It doesnt take much effort to go back a few days ago and see consistent five star reviews. All of these bad reviews are isolated to one event/client. There are two sides to this story and a bunch of fake reviews from an internet mob being directed from this persons view does not SUM up the business as a whole or even a fraction thereof. I have had services performed at this salon with great results and personally know others with a similar experience.

The salon was very clean and I was greeted immediately upon entry! Jacie took great care of me asking me questions to better understand exactly what I was wanting and boy did she deliver! I also loved the relaxation of the serenity room and my overall experience was fantastic!

A wonderful experience as always. Madison is a rock star and is so fun to hang out with while at the salon. She treats my 9 year old as if shes just one of the girls and she just adores her. Our hair has never looked better and shes always so thorough when talking to us about expectations and suggestions. If you are a curly girl, Madison and her Ouidad experience is next level good.

I moved to Knoxville about 3.5 years ago, and this is the ONLY salon that Ive went to so far here where Ive gotten my loose curly hair cut that Ive actually LOVED how it looked/felt afterwards, not to mention great customer service, friendly employees, and a very relaxing atmosphere (great choice of background music, too, imo...lol). Im definitely making this my regular salon from now on! If you have curls, this is the place for you! :-)

Madison has cut my curly hair for several years and it has never looked better! Kelsey took my 20 + years of dark brown / black box color and transformed it to a beautiful blonde. It was a process. When she finished the first time, it was more of a dark strawberry blonde, but she was up front and honest with me about taking several times to get my desired color. Everyone there I encounter is always so friendly and accommodating.

First time here and dawn was awesome (and the front desk receptionist was really sweet as well) ! My daughter loves her hair (it has been hard finding someone who actually knows how to take work with curly hair and dawn brought out all her fab curls ), definitely will be back !

I made an appointment, so when I arrived I wasn’t in the system and according to his words they didn’t have time, they only did a color test so that it didn’t look like a mistake and they sent me home. They told me that I have to make another appointment in 2 weeks (the closest) to be able to paint all my hair, so I’ll have bicolor hair until then. Although everyone was very nice at all times, just I’m very disappointed.

I’ve had only amazing experiences at Salon Yeager! I’ve seen Dulaney multiple times, and she is the sweetest soul ever and such an amazing stylist. I have extremely thick hair and ended up the last client there one day as my color application process takes quite a while. The owners were there with us after regular hours and did not make us feel rushed at all. They made sure I had everything I needed and made me feel very at home! I also love how upfront they are about pricing. I’m used to extra cost add ons because of the extra product needed for my hair, but I really appreciated them giving me costs up front and asking if I was comfortable with it all.

Im disappointed with this salon so much. 😔The color I want is roughly figure 3 and 4. But she told me my hair so dark so probably not in the desired color. l understand that. She told me my color will come out black pink or dark pink as in figure 2, I told her I didnt want too many black root of hair and I want my hair to be bright and I did show a pictures what I want, She acted like she understood, but the results were terrible. I booked a queue to do my hair in Base Color and Full Balayage - Blow Dry with Color 168 $ ,She charged me a new price to pay 206$ l think she charged for will add techniques for make a hair color more. But she doesn’t. She didnt pay attention to my hair at all.They asked me, I am not satisfied with the hair color? I answer no . But no fix ...

Super wonderful salon with wonderful employees! Victoria did an almost perfect job and gave me bright copper hair and a nice trim during my visit. Also, the hair-washing room is so peaceful I was almost asleep before she started! The only negative is I ended up dropping $437 (after my tip, my apologies!) to do this copper hair color, so make sure you are aware that a good job here comes with a rather hefty price tag. I’d say that’s the only downside since it did deter me from coming back for a basic color again.

Dulaney is AWESOME. I have been seeing her since she started at tennessee school of beauty and each time she never disappoints. Seriously would never go anywhere else. LOVE HER ❤️

Service was nice and friendly, style cut itself was lacking. Non transparent pricing feels like youre getting worked. These days doesnt go over well - we are all seeking authenticity in our interactions for goods and services. Felt overall experience underdelivered given the price.

This is the best salon I’ve ever visited. Everyone is extremely professional and friendly. My sons and I have been relying on Jenn Yeager to keep us looking good for years and I have referred several friends and family members. During the pandemic they have gone above and beyond to make sure the staff and the guests are extremely safe and comfortable.

Kelsey is a very perfesional and talented stylist. The Salon seemed clean and well cared for. Other staff was also friendly.

Courtney at Salon Yeager has always done an incredible job with my hair. My color is always exactly what I want , and she has always made my hair so easy for me to style on my own. This salon always is professional. Prices are very fair for the services provided.

I have nothing but fabulous things to say about Salon Yeager. Madison, Rae and Caroline have been so amazing to work with!! They are so knowledgeable about current products and services. They are so efficient, yet I never feel rushed. During COVID, they have taken extra precautions to make sure both the stylists and guests feel safe. I cannot praise this salon enough for all their hard work to truly make their salon the best in Knoxville. I would recommend a thousand times over!!

Every staff member I came into contact with was rude and/or unprofessional. I saw tools being used on multiple clients with out being disinfected after each use and my stylist acted annoyed when I asked if she could use clean tools on me. Also not sure they know what a balayage is bc my hair is completely one color with no dimension. Don’t waste your money. Go somewhere else.

I have been going to this salon for over a year now, I see Dulaney. She is one of the BEST hairstylists I have ever seen. I have been going to her to become platinum blonde and she has kept my hair healthy throughout the process. I recently had to go back to my dark natural color due to my schedule and not being able to work in time to get my hair lightened, but she made my hair look even better! I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back to being blonde now. I recommend her to everyone and even got my aunt to start going to see her! We love her and her bright personality. She is one of the best stylists in Knoxville.
