Ive used this place for months without issue. I arrived at my appointment today 10 minutes late because of traffic, and the front desk woman said they would have to reschedule because they only have a 9 minute hold period. I didnt take it out on her because it wasnt her fault, but that is ridiculous. A waxing takes more than 10 minutes. They didnt have another client. I didnt drive 30 minutes out of my way on my lunch break for this. Ive requested a full refund, and I wont be coming back.

Everyone there is so nice! They were all knowledgeable and professional. The salon was clean, bright, and inviting. The visit was fast and done well. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in waxing for their first time!

Shannon is ok but when it was time to go back she gave the lady at the front desk this look as if she didn’t want to do her job. Her attitude was poor, she also misses spots when doing a Brazilian.

This place did my first bikini wax. I read the other reviews then decided why not try it. I asked for Morgan because of the reviews about her. She is a absolute pleasure to work with. It did not hurt anywhere near as much as I thought it would. I am a fan for life now.

She comped me the value of a brow wax for my next visit, and made recommendations for specific waxers to use in the future. Im looking forward to trying again once my brows grow back in.ORIGINAL POST:First, let me say Ive been getting eyebrows waxed here for years, and until my most recent experience everything has been 5 star.This time, I had trouble getting an appointment. The app was glitching, no one answered the phones when I called, and no one returned my voicemail. I was finally able to make an appointment on the website.I told my esthetician (who I have not been to before) that I prefer a natural look and just needed the existing shape cleaned up. When I walked out, my eyebrows were uneven and so thin it was like I was missing half my brow. To be clear - they dont look terrible, and some women prefer thinner brows, but they are not what I asked for. I did not say anything while I was there because what was she going to do, put the hair back on? However, I think its important to be able to listen to your customer and deliver what theyve asked for, which is why Im leaving this review. Maybe it will help with future training.Ill still go back, but itll be awhile before my eyebrows grow back in.

I received a reminder text the day before my appointment, and so I requested the reschedule option as it was no longer a convenient time/day. The message asked what day Id like, so I messaged back with day and time but I never received a response back (I did try to use the app to change day/time and it wouldnt let me).

I have only had one bad experience here (and it was never taken care of), but every other experience I have had here has been GREAT!!! I would highly recommend Katelyn. She is awesome, sweet, and friendly. She treats you like a friend, and she knows her clients that she has on a regular basis so it makes the experience even better. Everyone that works in the front have been super sweet. They are great about calling to remind you of your appointments or reschedule for you super quickly. This place is so great, and they have great products for your skin too. The wax is great, and does not leave your skin dry feeling, or pulls at it for extra pain. I would recommend this place for all your waxing needs or if you just need great products for your skin.

I have always wanted to get a Brazillian Wax but was scared to. I thought it would hurt so bad.Some work colleagues convinced me to check this place out and I am not disappointed.It didnt even hurt half as bad as I expected. I had Morgan and she was super friendly. She talked with me the whole time which distracts you from laying there just waiting for the next yank.The facility is also very modern and clean.I was very satisfied and even went ahead and bought the buy 9, get 3 free package.

Not having to worry about how youre going to look when you walk out is GOLD! All of their estheticians know how to make you look natural and beautiful. They use a proprietary wax that doesnt hurt as bad as most LOL. Im never disappointed with any appointment I have here.

After reading other Google reviews about this place and seeing the high stars it typically gets, I decided to give it a try last weekend. I was not disappointed. The lobby was clean and well-kept, and the receptionist was super friendly. I chose Katelyn based off of positive reviews about her and she did a fantastic job. She treated me like a friend and kept me talking so I felt comfortable during my appointment, and she made sure to answer all of my questions and give me tips. They also have great products to buy for in-between visits. This was the best waxing experience Ive ever had, and I highly recommend this place.

Got my first Brazilian wax here and Monique was my wax specialist. Loved my experience and the staff was really friendly. The whole process was really easy to understand and I left with all my hairs removed and no burns to my skin from the wax or anything!

Warning!!! European Wax Center needs to do a better job training their staff on customer service. They must make more profit on selling products than actual services because that is where they focus all the sales pressure. The woman who did my wax was right off the bat, rude. This was my first time waxing and she didnt even try to make me feel comfortable. Also, if you are a new customer and schedule more than one service on your first visit, dont think you will get 1/2 off the most expensive service. They are only out to get your money, any way they can.

I receive a wax at EWC about every four weeks. The entire shop feels clean, welcoming, and efficient. Joyce is the absolute best!! She makes me feel comfortable, gets everything, and is very professional.

The first time I went to this location almost two years ago after relocating to Knoxville I knew I never had to worry about finding a good place to get a wax. Im a little heavier than the average woman and waxing for me had sometimes been awkward or just uncomfortable. Id experienced judgement at other places and had been made to feel like I didnt belong. That has never been the case here. These ladies are all so wonderful and kind and they have always gone the extra mile to make sure every visit is flawless.

I absolutely love EWC at Turkey Creek. Kaitlyn (sp?) is down to earth and makes something unpleasant fun. Parking is horrible...thats the only reason for the 4-star rating. If you can find a parking spot and get in the door, the staff is amazing.

I had my first brazzilion experience today, with Lauren. I thought of a million reasons not to go through with it, age/weight/etc, but I forgot those as soon as I met Lauren. She is very kind and patient, talked me through my nerves and made it a pleasant experience. Already scheduled my next appointment! Thank you EWC, for providing a clean facility and kind staff.

Have always been happy with my experience here. However, they are impossible to get ahold of when trying to book your next appointment. I have called the last 3 days , 3x each, and still havent been answered. Which is too bad because I had literally referred them 5 people in the last little bit.

I had a 3:15 appointment for a wax. I sat down after being checked in and was informed about five minutes later that my waxer was running behind. In total, I waited half an hour for my appointment and right when I was about to leave the assistant at the desk offered to try to look for another available waxer. She suggested I make an appointment for 4 oclock -- 45 minutes after my appointment. When I called to complain I was offered a $10 compensation for a $50 service. My time is no more valuable than theirs, and for that I will never recommend European Wax Center to anyone.

As a male, receiving waxing services, I feel comfortable going to EWC. Jessica is always upbeat and friendly. Great place for guys.

Hello I just got waxed at the European Wax Center on Parkside Drive in Turkey Creek. My waxer was Jenn. She did an okay job on my eyebrows and lip but she did a TERRIBLE job on my underarms. I wish I could send in the picture I took of my left armpit. It is still FULL of hair and she tweezed so much on the right one and it was incredibly painful. I have been tweezed in the underarm by other consultants in the past and none has EVER been this painful. It was like she forgot all about touching up my left armpit. I now have to go home and tweeze my own armpit which I LITERALLY just paid someone to do. I am incredibly angry and frustrated and would not recommend Jenn to anyone!!

First time waxer and I couldnt be happier with my visit! The staff is friendly and helpful. My esthetician was professional, had a good personality, and knew what she was doing! Ive already made my 2nd appointment!

Wonderful place!

The lady who waxed me was getting me out in thirty minutes no matter what. It was painful, she didnt keep coversation for distraction, and did not apply anything for relief. I felt awkward and in pain the whole time. She offered additional services at an exorbitant fee that other places have included. After, she told me I could tweez myself. It sucks that options are so limited in knoxville, I am in no rush to use them again.
