I have gotten my hair colored all the colors of the rainbow. My hair is dark so I go to professionals as to not damage my hair. I did my homework to find a place with great reviews. I’ve had 2 appointments and about $400.00 later and my had is burnt orange and copper! I asked for a partial highlights white with silver hint. Don’t be confused all the white you see is the hair my body makes, thus the color. They want me to go back in March for another $200.00 appointment!! $600. Ladies and gentlemen for a god damn partial highlights! I do not recommend this place!!!

Abbey at Bombshells can cut curly hair!! Curly girls, you know how incredibly difficult it is to find someone who can give you a fantastic, flattering cut. Abbey has taken continuing education special courses specifically for curly cuts! She also did an amazing job with my bayalage and my curls are gorgeous now 💕 I’ve been rolling the dice and losing for YEARS looking for a stylist to cut my curls properly. I highly, highly recommend Abbey for all curly girls! She has a fabulous personality as well. AND Bombshells has special discounts and coupons for first-time customers. Seriously, I was treated so well and this place and every time I look in the mirror now I smile bc my hair looks so pretty! 💕

My stylist Anna was great! She did great work. However, this place is extremely expensive.

I stopped here to get my hair done while visiting my parents who live in the area. I hadnt visited this salon since high school, so I wasnt sure what to expect. I was paired with Anna and a woman who was shadowing her, and showed them a picture of the exact balayage I wanted. Not only were both stylists incredibly friendly and professional, they NAILED my balayage and gave me exactly what I showed them. Amazing experience. If I lived in the area I would continue visiting Bombshells.

Wouldnt recommend to anyone this was outcome of my nieces hair first experience was awful after paying 160 for service plus 100 in hair product then going back for refund after refusing no refund for hair product senior hairstylist to give refund for hair product this is a nightmare. My niece is starting freshman year at new school at this was the outcome my niece cried the entire way home even before we left also they wanted us to come back and pay 130 more in two weeks, DO not go here......

Been going there for several years now and have never left unhappy. Allison is fun to see and Ive never felt pressured to purchase products or even additional services. I love the atmosphere and they send out an internal survey after each visit - seems like theyre very open to feedback and focused on providing the best of the best services that they have.

Madison Williams did a great job with my cut and color. She was very professional and easy to talk to. There was no pressure to buy additional products. I would definately recommend her specifically and the Salon.

Pay more attention to your customer instead of pushing products. The $49.00 hair cut had to be redone by Great Clips. Got home and one side of my hair was longer than the other. Using my fingers, found pieces in the back (longest lengths) that was not the same as the remainder. Facility is nice and so is the people. Maybe it was just my hair but not going back and spend that kind of money to only have to get it re-done. Good luck!

I haven’t had a professional haircut since the pandemic started, and had buzzed my hair a few times, only starting to grow it in February (my last buzzcut). Since then, my hair had grown, and it wasn’t super long by any means, but it was long enough that it looked shaggy and unkempt. I took a chance with Bombshells, which I knew existed in the Powell area, but since I pass by there nearly every day, I thought their new location looked very neat and clean and it compelled me to give them a try.I started off by making an appointment online, which they told me a few hours later was accepted and told me my hairstylist would be Maddison.It is a very neat little building. They have a boutique out front, and the front desk is to the side of it. I let them know I was a first timer, and they gave me a welcome booklet full of coupons and the like, which I thought was really nice of them.I wanna say that the building is VERY clean and modern looking, with some rustic decor. I thought it seemed like a very upscale salon, which is always a good thing!Maddison came to get me and gave me a consultation about my hair and I told her what I wanted: shaved sides and back, with my hair largely kept unbothered on top. So, somewhat of a mohawk, without the back piece and more tame.She did a most excellent job of cutting my hair. It looks pretty perfect actually, and she explained how the pomade she used was supposed to be applied, so I could take care of my hair on my own should I choose to buy it in addition to my haircut.I would rate her a 10/10 in terms of service, friendliness, finesse and professional attitude.I was only charged for a men’s haircut since my hair’s so short, which was a huge plus. I ended up buying the pomade (with a 20% off first time client coupon) and my haircut and the product ended up only being like 40-ish bucks. A total steal, if you ask me.I usually never write reviews but I feel like this place deserves every patron it gets.pros: location, service, cleanliness, friendliness (of everyone, including the front desk) pricecons: none!Sorry for the novel-length review but I can’t recommend this place enough. I will be back!

I went in asking for a DARK purple color. My natural color is auburn as you know red and reddish colors are hard to cover and keep in. She didn’t leave the lightener in long enough so it looked orange and even now with the purple on you can still see red hints and the was “so happy with how light it turned out”. I asked her for a DARK purple. It’s patchy and way lighter than I wanted. I’m currently on the way to buy box hair dye to hopefully make it as dark as I wanted it. She also completely missed my sideburns and was going to let me walk out like that if my girlfriend didn’t notice. Orange yellow sideburns bright purple hair. Very overpriced for the skill level. I believe Ashley was the girls name long blonde hair. She was very nice but just didn’t take her time. Didn’t leave the Leitner on long enough on the back of my head saturated it too much on the top of my head why the back of my head is reddish purple and the top is bright bright purple. If you’re doing something simple save your money $140 to walk out feeling like I can’t be seen until it’s fixed.

Anna Webber is the best stylist I’ve ever been to! She was so nice to me and so knowledgeable, she explained everything she was doing step-by-step! She answered all of my questions kindly! She knew I had a deadline and she made sure to get me out on time, she even had someone else help blow dry and flat iron my hair to ensure I was on time! This was honestly the best salon experience I’ve ever had!

I have struggled for YEARS finding a salon/hair stylist I was happy with and I have FINALLY found that! I have always had a great experience every time I have been to Bombshell and Lauren is absolutely the BEST! She always makes my hair look AMAZING and I have so much fun with her! This Salon is exceptional. They take their time, and even though its a little pricey, it is worth every penny. Theyre very thoughtful, and skilled and not in a hurry. Bombshells is also very accommodating with your schedule. I also observed them do a cut on a difficult person and treat a couple Sr adults with respect.

She is an excellent stylist-- every time she works on my hair I love the result! If I come in with a picture or a particular vision for my hair, she makes it happen. Finally, the salon rates are very competitive, which the bargain shopper in me loves. So glad I found Danielle, I would recommend her to anyone!

I have gone to this place a few times and they did a decent job on my hair; however, the one time where they made a mistake they werent willing to make it right according to my availability. I teach and now I have to keep my hair up in a headband until I can find another place to go. They dont have any procedure for fixing their mistakes. So unprofessional.

Did great on my hair but are now getting rid of their nail salon and stopping all waxing services. Very disappointing. Finding new full service salon now.

Front desk cant get the appointments right. When i called for appointment i set it for a highlight but my hair dresser did not have time . i ended up with cut and color, but she did a great job on what i got.

I have absolutely zero negative remarks on bombshells salon. My daughter and I had our hair done here and they are all the friendliest staff at any salon I have ever been too. They are not snobby or rude in any way. They were able to book our appointments on the same day and only 15 minutes apart. Im very thankful for that too because my daughter needed a color correction from a horrible at home Lightner kit and I did not want to send her to school looking the way it did.They were very thorough and went over exactly what color we wanted and where and Im thrilled with our end reults.There is not enough stars to rate Bombshells salon. They were way cheaper than other salons, everyone is super friendly, they have a variety of products and services, they got us in right away, and our hair looks amazing. Theres absolutely no other salon in Knoxville like this one.I will never step foot in another salon after going here and Im recommending them to everyone I know.
