The best part of this facility are the under paid CNAs and the housekeeping who keep the facility well cleaned. The DON is unprofessional and ghetto. The Nurse managers are lazy and often hung over. I suspect that Medicare fraud is still taking place in this facility as before, Horrible place for a grandparent to end up especially with other behavioral health patients.

My wife and I went to go see Elba Garcia. She had an accident and broke her ankle. While my wife was on vacation. So, On her birthday we went to see her and because she didnt want to be placed again on the hoyer lift to be put on the wheelchair again that she had been in the cafeteria for the grandson. So we waited an hour but still she refused to go to the cafeteria. We are both vaccinated since May12th with both vaccines. I understand that maybe I should not go in with her but she should been allowed to go in and see the patient. As shes licensed nurse as well. Just so sad 😞 how people just dont care about others feelings. Plus the fact that the patient doesnt have covid either there was no reason for the strict rules.

Today, I came to visit again for the 4th time and was given such a hard time to see my very dear friend in 413B. With my Covid 19 Vaccine Card out. I thanked them for at least 5 minutes to see her through a window. I had to ask to speak to Frank 5x just for 5mins and they gave me ensues that he was too busy to even speak with me 5mins of his time. I never was able to see Frank. They called the cops on me. How very sad.

My mother in law stayed here for months and it’s an ok facility. Food could have been better. After like a month she was switch from north wing to south. She would complain about the aides but the manager (Leslie) would always go in and make sure she was good and address any problems. The secretary (Jimmy) was very sweet to, he always made sure to call me or my husband about any upcoming appointments she had and was always very friendly. Overall the facility would be great with the right staff you really just have to hope your loved one gets lucky with the right people

My mother stayed at the terrace of Kissimmee and she absolutely enjoyed her time there. She stated she received top quality care from her Aides and Nurses! Thank you Mava, Michael, Carrie and Wendy ! The facility’s administrator (Frank) was a very nice guy when ever I would visit my mother through the window. Carol and her admission team are an absolute wonder and made the transition from the hospital to the facility an ease! The therapy department is the best thing you can get out of this facility! Gretchen and her staff really do work wonders. The facility’s appointment maker and facility secretary is an absolutely sweetheart! He always went above and beyond to give me all the information regarding my mothers appointments and daily health report thank you Jimmy ! All In all if you want the best care for your love one this is the place

My aunt has been at several Rehabs in the area and she has always had horrible experiences. She just returned home after 100 days at the Terrace and while there she never had a complaint. The nursing staff took excellent care of her. The therapists went over and beyond any therapy she has ever received before. The social workers were very thoughtful and helpful. If your loved one needs to be placed in a Rehab facility I would recommend choosing this one!

My aunt stayed here from march 2020- may 2020 and while she was there she really enjoyed it, she said the food could have been better but for it being a nursing home she couldnt complain. Huge shoutout to Bryan from the therapy department who helped her with therapy and getting herself back on her feet. She was also impressed at the face the facility had wound care. She loved her CNAS Martha and Jimmy upbeat and crazy personality so thank you guys for all that you did while the time of her being there. If you truly want a decent stay for your loved one for rehab this is the one of the best routes to go with

We recently had my father here at this location and had a horrible experience. If you love your family member, please do not have them go here. My father was transferred from this location back to the hospital and was put in only a pamper and a dirty t-shirt. Let me be clear no pants, no socks, no shoes! Additionally, while he was staying there they hid his phone so he couldnt call us. We know they had it and not misplaced because when calling his phone to find it an employee picked it up and then hung up on several occasions. It was found when we finally expressed that we would report their behavior.

This place needs to undergo a serious revamp with both staffing & the building as a whole. Sending someone here for rehabilitation is comparable to essentially signing their life away into the hands of the careless. Often times the doctors and nurses can be seen abusing both their rights and the rights of the patients. Medicine that hasn’t been prescribed/approved for patients will still be given to them without any actual consent. Patients are often left in extremely dirty clothes which is direct infringement of their rights as a patient as well as directly infringing on this establishments agreement to keep this place cleaned & sanitized due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. No patients should be left this severely unattended. Often times patients are seen in a state of agony due to the blatant disregard that the staff has shown their patients. It’s a shame to see such carelessness in a place that is viewed by many from the outside as a safe haven for their loved ones. From starving/depriving patients of food & water, taking patients belongings without any form of consent, keeping the establishment in a state of filth, and essentially drugging their patients at the establishments discretion, I’d whole heartedly avoid this area at all costs.

I stayed for three weeks in June and July 2019. The staff was outstanding, especially Carrie, my nurse. She won Employee of the Month while I was there, and it was ABUNDANTLY deserved!! The therapists and most of the rest of the staff were amazing. The only thing that needed improvement was really the food. But I guess thats a normal complaint for most medical facilities. Would definitely go back.

The Terrace of Kissimmee provided superb service and care for my mother after being in the hospital for 6 weeks. They were very understating to our needs and showed great empathy. Carol and her admission staff made the process very smooth and they were extremely patient with us. The medical staff and rehabilitation staff were very attentive to my mothers needs. The Terrace of Kissimmee provided outstanding service and care for my mother in law. After being hospitalized for over 6 weeks and going through two major surgeries, this was the best location for her rehabilitation. I appreciate the admissions team at the Terrace of Kissimmee. I requested a private room for my mother but the private rooms were full. Carol promised me the next available private room. I was skeptical at first. But she came through and my mom had a private room with in 72 hours of her arrival. Its nice to see follow through and integrity in the work place.

The Terrace of Kissimmee is an excellent skilled nursing facility. My father received care from a compassionate staff. Watching a parent age is challenging. Its nice to receive support from dedicated professionals.

I visit my friend weekly at the The Terrace of Kissimmee. The administrator Sid is a really nice guy. He goes out of his way to get to know his residents and their visitors. I am happy to say something positive about his effort.

The Terrace of Kissimmee is a beautiful building. They offer a concierge experience which differentiates it from other Rehab centers. All in all, I was impressed with the place and the staff.

My brother was here for long term care. Before covid lock down I visited him and had lunch with him almost everyday. After the lockdown in March 2020 I Could only do a video chat with him. Very distressfull because he was hard of hearing and had dementia so he didnt understand how this worked. He went in here In January and died of metastatic lung cancer in December. We had no idea that he had cancer. The nursing home. Never noticed that he had lost a tremendous amount of weight, wasnt eating and was suffering. We had brought a TV for his use in March and never got it back after he died among several other items. They just dont seem to care. If you cant be with ur loved one to check on them dont leave them here. I would like to commend two staff who were helpful to me: Gavin and Christine.

I called left message no onw called me back

Doctors and nurses have no empathy for patients as I was in rehab for 1 week. The call lights get answered in 10 minutes and much longer. The doctors are not called with patients concerns, and when they do, an answer is received hours later. Im taking all my medicines to live, and I was not given my home insulin accordingly, causing my BS to reach 586. Md did not call back 3 hrs later. My friends, relatives and family will never come here. As for me, never again. Much more to report at this time. COPD, Asthma, etc., needed a treatment. I told the nurse I could not breathe; 3 hrs later, I asked if she called the Doctor for cough medicine; she replied no, I can do it, just give me the medicine. She then tried to get all my medicine together, so she can come in that one time, she told me.

My mom has stay there for 2 months. The place is clean and safe. The staff, friendly and helpful. They manage the meds efficiently. Thanks

This facility earns it’s five star rating not only on google but with the state of FL and the healthcare industry. They continuously offer quality care and maintain an exceptionally beautiful, clean and comfortable environment to get well.

As a current employee of this rehabilitation center, I could say that without a doubt this is a great place to bring your family member. I have worked at other healthcare facilities, and none compare with the attentive care our nursing staff provides to our residents.

Terrace of Kissimmee is nothing but a joke. Its even worse than Select acute care in Orlando and that place doesnt even qualify to be an abortion clinic as far as Im concerned. Do your research before you or any family members are taken to this place. I gave it one star because well I had to in order to post this review and also there werent any loud mouth obnoxious Puerto Rican employees yelling and arguing in the hall way like at Select acute care. On May 28 2019 my Uncle passed away at Terrace of Kissimmee and I spoke with Connie that night and arranged to pick up his personal belongings the next morning at 9 am and she agreed to that. Today May 29 2019 I go in and went to the nurses station where I was told to go. The nurse there had no idea what I was talking about and I was told Maria was the person I had to speak with but Maria was in a meeting. I walked out to the courtyard to make a phone call and wouldnt you know it Maria was at the door on the outside we met face to face at the door and thank you for the dirty looks you gave me. Maria wasnt in a meeting. I left and an hour and twenty minutes later I returned and nobody could find my Uncles personal belongings. Maria avoided me didnt talk to me or even give me more dirty looks. Tha really sad part of all of this every place in Kissimmee and Orlando are like this.

The worst place every to send a family member for rehabilitation after surgery. I wasn’t given medication for five days. Nurses didn’t know the name and kind of medication they were giving. Food was horrific. No assistance from staff with bathing. The worse experience of my life. Left in worse condition than when I entered. If you want your family alive, please don’t send them here.

This is the worst place to leave any of your family members! My mom went in alert and stable she is now in the hospital with a bad infection and she hasnt woken up for 3 days, they assumed she was just tired and left her that way! She also has lots of blisters all over her body and a uti because they were not bathing her everyday!! 😡😡😡if you want your family to die, take them here!!!

This facility is horrible, smells of urine all around they drop patients and dont inform relatives. They also dont follow health orders. They were informed not to give aspirin or any meds containing aspirin and no pork. Two days after getting there she was hemmorraging because of pork loin given. Family again was not told that they gave pork. When back at facility, patient needs two people to get to bath, they dropped patient again family not informed. They leave patients soaked for hours after being informed. Even their employees complain of being overworked and patient load per aide. Discharge was another thing they kept giving 4 different dates and extended date cause they couldnt get themselves organized. Called regarding charges their facility admin. has a nasty attitude, disrepectful mr. Randy lepeu (stinking attitude) this spelling better for him. Will be reporting to insurance companies as well as state!
