I had an appointment as a surprise for my daughter on our get away weekend and and a day and a half before the appointment they called me to cancel or reschedule for another day like if we lived there. They ruined our surprise for my daughter. Supposedly the lady that was going to take care of my daughter was not going to be able to be there. When we got there at the front desk no one knew that they closed for the weekend except one lady that told my husband that they closed for the weekend but she didn’t know the reason.Situations like this will bring the resort bad reviews.

I would give them a zero but that isnt an option.I left a voice mail 24 hours ago and another 3 hours ago to schedule services. Still no return call.Physically, went to the spa. The 2 people behind the reception desk, were totally disconnected.I tried to schedule services for tomorrow. However, before I left the counter, I decided not to schedule the services. I explained that I would not be scheduling and why I was not scheduling. The receptionist responded, see you tomorrow at 11:15. No, i just explained why not. No I will not be seeing you tomorrow, I am not making an appointment.I immediately, went to front desk to confirm that I had not scheduled any services and want to make certain that charges would not be applied to my account.Very disappointing.

I went here expecting a high - mid end spa experience based off of the price points. I purchased the Emmy package which included a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure and lunch for $276. The massage was fine, but the room looked more like a doctors office than a spa, bad music included. The facial consisted of a face wash, steam, and then the therapist proceeded to painfully extract my pores with her fingers. The lunch provided was from Fridays, styrofoam box and all. The manicure and pedicure experience was on par with a strip mall nail salon. For the price, I expected that my nails would at least be evenly coated in polish. To top it all off, my back and neck were coated with black flecks from the pedicure chair. The one good thing this place does have is a fantastic marketing team!

Okay, this place is fine. But don’t charge high end prices for strip mall quality. The massage was good. The facial was fine. The room was reminiscent of my gynecologist’s office. I was trying to find the stirrups. The music made me feel like I was stuck on an elevator ride from hell. Also where’s the robe? Terry cloth too expensive for an experience that costs over $300? Put the damn lunch on a plate. I don’t need to know that the lunch is from TGIFridays (which I deduced from the styrofoam box). A few diffusers and some zen gardens would help this abandoned set of offices turned “spa“ at least somewhat look and smell the part. Please, do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere that you’ll actually feel the experience is worth it.

Had a pedicure and it was amazing. The staff was great, very pleasant and friendly. Was given a free mimosa when I walked in and was treated like a king. I didnt know a pedicure included a lower leg massage, very relaxing and soothing time.

Overall the villa is very nice, the rooms are specious and great ammenties however, they need a new water pump or something. we had no hot water and could not even enjoy the juccuzzi. I think I should have a gotten an extra night after paying 400$ for two nights and no hot water. It would have been 5 stars if only we had hot water

Well when I made my appointment I was certain I had a complimentary 20% off coupon for any spa service prior to my last visit being here but couldn’t remember where it was kept last time. So I informed the receptionist about it and she said to bring the coupon (whatever that being) from my room and makes an appointment for me on wednesday. Only come to find out from their daily activities flyer you only get 20% off on Sundays and Mondays. So here I thought last time I did this I must have scheduled it on one of those days. So oh well I’m going to have to pay full price to have my hair conditioned on top of their additional 20% tip they require you to pay. Because either way they charge you $25 for a cancellation fee. So it’s wednesday and I show up 10 minutes early as they have a sign requesting that you do. But no one showed up on time for my 9am appointment and I waited altogether close to 30 minutes. So then my appointment finally happens and it’s completely a different experience than the last one I had. I ended up paying close to $40 for someone to wash my hair and put redken conditioner in my hair. So as I finally got back to my room and I unfortunately realized the coupon not only was actually 25% off but it was on my room key. Because apparently I own a celebrity guest card. Which I guess isn’t a huge surprise because my family has been coming here for over 20 years. So from there and when I had the time to, I’d go to the front desk and tell them the situation and ask to have a refund so I can apply the 25% off. The staff at the time was friendly and concerned but unfortunately the person that would be in charge for the refund had already left. They told me to come anytime tomorrow or whenever I could back to the front desk after 9am to obtain the refund. So Friday morning I have the opportunity to and I go back. The lady speaking to me for whatever reason told me to go back to the spa desk and speak to the receptionist there. Confused I did and the receptionist told me that I had to show my card when I made the purchase and that there was no way I could get my refund. My biggest problem with all of this is no one knowing what they’re talking about. I definitely overpaid and overwaited for a poor service, but I didn’t even think of writing a review until I experienced the staff and how I would hear one thing from someone and another from some other. Every year I come here there seems to be new staff members. This whole problem could have been avoided if the receptionist that scheduled my appointment helped inform me of the ways I would have had the coupon I was referring to in the first place. They seriously need to educate their staff members more so they’re all on the same page and stop wasting more of my time and money.
