Had an attitude when I tried to accompany my boyfriend into the shop. I understand the COVID-19 cases but the attitude was unwelcoming. Thank god I’m bald because I wouldn’t even think about going there.

First time visit. The small shop is nestled in a tiny strip mall. I passed it twice. So happy I found it because Im very satisfied with the service and my hair style.I was a little wary based on a couple of reviews but Jill was friendly and professional. She took me on time and took great care with my thinning dreads and partial baldness. Jill gave me information and suggestions about maintaining my hair. Im confident that she cares about my hair looking its best. And her price is very reasonable.I am definitely going back!

Im a person with a disability had an appointment drove 1 hour and 20 minutes to get there and be turned away because I didnt mention at the time I scheduled the appointment I wanted color also. Been a customer for over 7 years and thats how you get treated shameful.

Jill flat-ironed and curled my very kinky hair, with ease. She trimmed my ends and did not take too much off. I received lots of compliments on my hairstyle. Jill did an excellent job.

I just pass by, someone approached the door to ask what I wanted and I ask if she can do two or four boxer braids and she look at me weird and answer me back we dont do that really? 2 simple braids??

Thank you so much for saving my hair. I made the terrible mistake of not combing it out my hair after I took my braids and out and went straight to washing it. Let’s just say her arms got quite the work out with my hair lol. Jill was able to see me the same day and fully detangle my hair which I thought I was going cut off.

Its a wonderful experience! I have been going to Jill for 3 years and I havent gone to another hair stylist. She is warm hearted and very open minded she gives suggestion on different hair styles that will best fit you. Her shop is a very welcoming loving environment once you go you will always go back ! Jill was able to do permanent dreadlock extensions for my wife ,she has wanted them for years and has gone to other local locticians who proclaimed they were proficient but failed miserably. We highly recommend her.

I have been to Jills twice now and can say so far I feel it is a home away from home. I have been natural for 7 years and recently moved to Kissimmee from the MD/DC area where natural hair and natural hair care is everywhere. I am THRILLED to find a place that cares about the health of my hair. Kinky twist are my go to style and I just had them done by Jill - Gorgeous! Also Christina does a superb job with shampooing and conditioning. The only thing i can think of that I would like better is to keep the conditioner on a bit longer. I may try the steamer the next time I am there. Overall very pleased. They were professional, talented and friendly!

I spoke to her over the phone on what I wanted. I told her I have natural hair and I wanted a pixie cut and she said she could do it. When I went there, Ms. Jill had a bit of an attitude said she couldnt do it because it would be a double process. She said she wouldnt have the time, even though I already booked the appointment. Then she rushed to leave the shop and said she had to go somewhere else.Im very disappointed especially after reading the great reviews about her shop. Im Definitely not going back.

I have been natural for about 2.5 years now and I am VERY VERY careful about who I let touch my hair. I use all natural products and use low manipulation styling and since I have been natural, I havent allowed a single stylist to touch my hair....until of course I met Miss Jill.She was absolutely WONDERFUL with my hair. I was in Florida on vacation (Im a college student who goes to school up north) and I needed a protective style for the cold. I had some rope twists put in and I absolutely LOVE them. Unlike many braiders, she was gentle, didnt pull the hair too hard, and I ended up with a style that I STILL get compliments on. She was extremely friendly and we got started right on time with my appointment...no wait time. I found Miss Jill through a family friend and Im very very glad I did. I will definitely go back to Miss Jill in the future for my natural hair care needs and I also recommend her to any other naturals out there looking for an awesome stylist who isnt pushy, who is attentive to her customers, and who simply want to look fabulous.

This message is for the manager. I recently really needed to get my hair steamed. I am picky about who does my hair so I went on google to look up a salon that I could possibly get my hair done at. I came upon your website where I saw that it was only $10 dollars for a steam. I wasnt sure whether I had to get other services or if I could get the steam alone. I decided to call be I went and thank God I did. I am not sure who answered the phone but I simply asked about the steam. I was told that it would be 35 dollars with a wash. I stated OK and asked if I could just get the steam alone. I am picky about letting other people touch my hair so I wasnt really interested in anything else. That is when who ever picked up phone started to go off on me and she was just nasty. I will never step foot in your salon after that ridiculous attack!

I cant say enough good things about Jill.She truly has a gift for taking care of hair. My hair was thinning around the edges when i 1st came to her. Within two weeks afterwards my hair started growing back. I wrote a review and gave her the highest rating on Yelp. I am a very busy person and i am not getting paid to write reviews.

First time ever going to get my hair professionally done and had a great time. Took only 2hrs to wash, re tighten and dry my hair. For the Dreadheads you know its a process if you do it yourself. Will absolutely go back and have her interlock and braid it out for me. Thanks Mrs. Jill..

I have nothing but the highest regard for the quality of work and care that is put into my locks as well as the endless amount of people that have also been blessed by her work. Very rude woman. After reading all the terrible reviews about Jill, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. Can I just say, I really regret that. She did not do my hair to my satisfication. Paid 65 dollars for a failed twist out.SMH...Do not waist your time or money. Not worth it. Her skills match up with her attitude. Very dissapointed. My first visit was definitely my last visit.

Previously, the same day that I would go to my hairstylist, my curls would fall out the same day. My hair texture is very soft. Now, when I get my hair done at Jill’s Natural Hair Studio, I can go for a month without a “new do”, and my hair style still looks good. My hair has grown down to the bottom of my shoulder blade. I just sit in the chair and let Ms. Jill do what is right for my hair. I am totally satisfied! She is second to none, and the queen of color, chemically treated hair, and natural hair. Also if you want your hair treated wash and condition and/or if damage, she will get you on the right track. The owner is a wonderful well rounded Lady. No drama!!!! Highly recommend this salon to take off your hair needs and qaulity retail products to take home with you. Natural products as well.

She is ridiculously rude. She has no level of importance and patience to her customers its frightening. Yelling at children for no reason what so ever. This lady has no respect for anyone. When to go see what type of braids that she does. She asked my little sister what style she wanted and then the lady proceeds to yell at her. I dont know in what world is it ok to yell at a potential customer, but in this world its bad for buisness. Jill is the BEST! It is her high-level service that made it easy to drive from Polk County, FL for appointments every 4-6 weeks. I started my locs about 5 years ago. Jill helped me understand locs and the transformation required - because its a lifestyle not just a hairstyle. She continued to exercise patience and understanding as I learned to maintain my locs. I was always amazed how she knew what I did and didnt do between appointments. She is so well-versed on natural hair! When it was necessary to leave Polk County about two years ago, I left with a sound understanding of natural hair. My level of understanding allows me to constantly hold my new loctician(s) to high standards - because thats what Im used to :) Jill continues to exercise high standards in hair care as I just visited her last month for a cut, shampoo, condition, color and style.
