Dr. Gabrielle and her staff saved my son from strabismus surgery. They ALL took the time to meet our little guy exactly where he was and to educate us in the best ways to support his visual development. As a special needs parent with a completely non verbal child - I have been so lucky to have Dr Gabrielle be our provider for the past 7 years. She is truly phenomenal with my child and can get an eye test done without words and sometimes without compliance. She is truly remarkable. Her staff are friendly and reliable and you get the feeling its a real work family in her office. If you have a special needs child or a child that needs some extra assistance this is the place to go!

Dr. Gabrielle is one of the best pediatric doctors we have encountered. We sought her out 3 years ago to get a second opinion for my 5 yo - whose former eye doc recommended vision therapy but we weren’t sure why/if she needed it. Dr. G came highly recommended by a trusted source and we’re so glad we had our daughter assessed. Over the 2 hour exam we would learn exactly what was going on with our daughter’s eyes, a handful of things we literally never knew. In addition to learning the name of each of her issues, we learned what the impact would be if we DON’T fix them. Natalie’s conditions require vision therapy to improve her conditions. The skill set it takes to run a good practice, work well with children AND their parents- closing the knowledge gap for us- is extremely impressive IMO.Dr. G is amazing at working with children. She moves through the exam with grace, has such a calm, pleasant demeanor and many tools to keep kids on task. You could tell right away that she is a pro. We recently brought our 3 yo son in to be assessed and we were worried how he would do during the 2 hour exam. Of course, she’s got tricks and tools for all ages. It was fun to watch her pivot to work with our son differently than our daughter. I can tell both kids feel comfortable there.We are now 3+ years into vision therapy and our daughter’s conditions are greatly improving. Our investment in therapy will help her be successful academically and in sports in ways otherwise not possible. Visiting the office during the pandemic has been fine- they take so many precautions and have a good system to keep everyone safe and everything clean. I’m grateful we’ve been able to continue therapy throughout the pandemic and have avoided any major regression.Look no further of you’re in search for a special eye doc or are on the fence re: vision therapy.

We recently visited Gabrielle Family Vision for my son’s follow up appointment. I wanted to give a major shout-out to the enormous efforts they are going to so the clinic is as safe as possible. I was anxious before, and was put at ease once I saw how incredible their set up is. It seems like every detail has been thought of. From the main door being open, the sanitizing station and easily understood instructions right there, to reception desk being plexiglassed off to the amazing extra care during the appointment. For those reading, Dr Gabrielle was wearing 2 layers of protection under a face shield. There was an air purifier in the room. The Dr, washed her hands many times during the appointment and sanitized all instruments used in-between each use. Beyond professional and considerate. Seriously if every office had this setup we’d all be in a much better situation with this pandemic. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Dr. Gabrielle is very thorough with her examinations and takes the time to explain things to me and to my daughter. She discovered the source of my daughters headaches with reading and weve been going for vision therapy ever since. My daughter Lisa has noticed a huge difference and is now doing her reading assignments without trouble. We have been very well taken care of by Dr. Gabrielle and her staff and I would highly recommend this office!

We have passionately shared our rewarding experience at this clinic with many of our friends. Back in 2012 when my daughter was in 2nd grade, we were completely uneducated and unaware of the severity of our daughters vision problems. We just thought she was near-sighted and had trouble with hand-eye coordination when in effect she was seeing doubles all the time unless an object is within 12in of her sight! Dr. Gabrielles detailed exam and her explanations helped us understand the visual challenges our daughter faced every singe day. In a little over a year, she and her therapists helped Emma make remarkable improvements in all areas of her vision. She graduated after 2 years and went on maintenance. She can now play all manners of ball sports and has excellent hand/eye coordination. We are very thankful to have found Dr Gabrielle and her team,The rate of progress does depend on how good the patient is about doing prescribed exercises at home. We found our therapist very engaging and made the exercises fun to motivate my daughter to want to do better for her next appointment.It is true that they do not take insurance. In dealing with insurance myself I appreciate why it is time/labor prohibitive for a small clinic to process that for all their patients. Compared to another clinic in Lynnwood that takes insurance, my daughter and I much preferred their staff and method of therapy here so we just dealt with it.

Even though it had been 7 years since Id seen Dr. Gabrielle, I felt as if the time hadnt passed. I appreciate how she listened to what I was saying, and not only did a thorough vision exam, but gave valuable insights into other areas of general health. I also ended up doing a year of vision therapy (as an adult) and found that the vision therapy sessions were fun and effective, and that Ive had noticeable and lasting positive effects from the therapy. Dr Gabrielle is the optometrist Ive ever encountered.

Dr. Gabrielle, Cindy, and the rest of the team worked wonders on my challenged eyes. Went from migraines to painless vision over the course of two months, and greatly improved vision over 6 months.

Excellent eye care, comprehensive exams. They dont bill insurance but it is worth it.
