Christina Baker is a very knowledgeable dietitian, and unusually diligent in answering all of my tedious and somewhat stubborn questions. I have several physical issues that work against against each other in potentially harmful ways, and could easily provoke seemingly contradictory dietary plans. Although she was passionate about understanding and helping me achieve my goals, she was also quite firm about encouraging me to comprehend the bigger picture when it was clear that I needed to modify my dietary inclinations. Also, even though my insurance plan did not cover the cost of a dietary specialist, the people in the department developed a modified, affordable schedule for me. And they did not hesitate to set up virtual appointments for me caused by my fear of catching COVID.
