This used to be a good dermatology option with a good provider who left the office several months ago. Recently, my experience has been very negative. I came to a prescheduled appointment and they told me that another doctor left the office and they could not take me. The appointment was at 7:45am and they never contacted me to let me know that it was cancelled so I wasted my time. When I asked if they could still refill some prescriptions they said that I would need to wait for another appointment. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Dr. Susan Kim has been amazing with my 2 year old son. My son usually has stranger danger but he opened right up to her. She is amazing with kids and very knowledgeable. Her staff is great as well.

Had an appointment with doctor Susan Kim on October 1st Wednesday of 2020 at 1:35pm . Reconfirmed the appointment on Monday (2 days before ) . When I reached the doctors place they said the appointment as been cancelled the day before . Did not even let me know . When asked if they could fit me in they said the doctor is busy . “How is it possible that that got an other patient in these than 24 hours “ . I guess they are just giving reasons . Wasted my time and money ( cab cost ) . Useless. 🤬

I am a huge fan of Dr. Kim and her colleagues at Lake Washington Dermatology. Dr. Kim is whip smart, thoughtful, kind and direct -- characteristics I highly value in a physician. I have had a variety of issues treated by Dr. Kim, including skin cancer, and she has always treated me as a partner in my healthcare. Dr. Kim has also treated my elderly (90 year old) mother. Mom, who is very hard-of-hearing, was treated with respect and kindness, and her difficult skin issues were resolved quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Kim to anyone who wants a very smart, super knowledgeable and compassionate doctor.

Just like each persons skin is different and personal to the individual, you have to find a dermatologist who is personal to you and can understand your skin. I think I have found mine in Dr. Kim.I was referred by a friend of mine to visit Dr. Kim when I started developing dry skin on my cheeks which no amount of moisturizer could cover. Dr. Kim did an amazing job at explaining the cause of my skin dryness and now I no longer have dry itchy skin. The front desk staff (unlike described otherwise) were ok to me, although I have been treated better by reception staff elsewhere. But once you get over that glitch, you have a smooth ride here.

My cousin passed away when she was 30 years old from skin cancer. That is one of the biggest scares that I have now even with my children. I am always making sure that moles are just moles and skin tags are just skin tags. I went to Lake Washington Dermatology to just get a few things checked out. While I was happy with the outcome of my visit, the office was chilly. Overall, I will definately come back for a check up to make sure that I am A-OK.

I have been coming to Dr. Kim for about 4 years now. Im very vigilant about about annual skin exams as skin cancer runs in my family. Not all dermatologists seem to be as detailed as Dr. Kim when it comes to the medical side of (vs. beauty focused) dermatology as Dr. Kim is. My first skin exam was at a really nice office and Id expressed concern about a mole and was told it was nothing to worry about but theyd take it off if was bothering me. I opted to have it removed as it was tender and in a spot that was easy to rub it. They sent it in for biopsy and called me to come back in because they needed to go deeper as the mole was abnormal. Sheesh! Theyd told me it was nothing to worry about. I switched to Dr. Kim after that. She took pictures and measurements of all my various marks and at each yearly exams compares to what was there before. Guess what! You can get Melanoma where the sun doesnt shine (yep your arse can get Melanoma... who knew?!?). I now have a scar in the shape of a smile on my backside. Another dermatologist may have missed that I had a new mole appear and it was fairly small (looked harmless to me once I was told it was back there). I wont ever switch Derms, Dr. Kim for life! =) By the way, the other reviewers who commented on chilly/unfriendly office staff might be referring to her prior office location. The staff at her office now is MUCH more friendly than the old office. Thank you Dr. Kim!
